The time has come and the wait is over…Halloween is here!!!!!
More details as we go through them….but for now know that Peter kicks things off…and you’ll most likely get the popup saying reload for an awesome new event..
UPDATE BUNNY 730PM EST: For iOS and Android having crash issues, try again. iOS make sure you are on iOS 6 and completely updated. Android, make sure you download the newest update from the market and running on version 1.3.2.2 for the app. These should help with the iOS blue screen and the Android neighbor visits crashing.
UPDATE BUNNY 215PM EST: Jailhouse Meg items should stop dropping now. A patch has been pushed from TinyCo. Please try force close/restart to clear this.
As for the issue of the Spellbook/Portal sticking and not able to clear the task, they are working on it.
We’re working on a spell to fix the crashing bug with the Spelbook. So far, yelling out “insectum reparo!” has not worked.
ANNNNNNNND They just pushed a patch for this. Try to force close and restart to put it in effect if you don’t see it.
Update 11:55am EDT: Guys we’re working to get the info as fast as possible, but with everyone hitting the servers at once we’re getting the same connection dropped screens you are. So we as that you be patient and give us just a bit of time to try and pull as much info as we can… 🙂
Also, there seems to be a little “hiccup” when Drunk Programmer Kevin flipped the switch (I guess it wasn’t sobered up enough)…and Android users will see different color tress but nothing else. It’s coming, just be patient it should hit shortly.
So let’s break it all down shall we? Remember…we’ll be updating THIS post as we go through everything, so keep checking back until you see the Updated and Complete in the title..

Ok so first…I’m sure you’re all asking…What the heck is going on?
Peter, in typical Peter fashion, has decided to tick off the dead. In doing so Peter accidentally opens a dark portal in the Quahog cemetery and unleashes all manner of ghosts and goblins on the city…your job is to help round up these ghost, goblins and ghouls!
As always..the game will guide you through the process. So if you’re feeling confused just read the dialogue and see what the game is telling you to do. You can also ask us. We’re always happy to help 🙂

We’ll have full posts explaining the ins and outs of each aspect of this event, but for now…here’s a quick rundown.

Here are the event details from the game itself:
Halloween District:
Much like Full Moon & Comic Con the Halloween event has it’s own district…pretty much in the same spot. Here’s a look at the district when yo first start up your game..
Inside this district is where you’ll find the Portal and the witch’s cauldron (more on those later). The Haunted House is also located here.. for repair. (more below).
Here’s how the district looks after you’ve started and built up a few things..
This event has two types of currencies….
Spirit Vials
Fright Points
Spirit Vials are used to purchase event exclusive items
Fright points help you increase your fright level, and unlock more content.
You can earn each by doing various tasks
New Costume:
Ghostbuster Peter
You’ll need Ghostbuster Peter to clear the Terror Dogs…It takes 2 hrs to clear 1 Terror Dog. You’ll earned 10 Spirit Vials and 2 Fright Points every time you do. And a chance for Terror Dog Bones.
Required to unlock:
500 Spirit Vials
15 Ghost Dusters (uncommon): Earned by: Make Quagmire Order New Toys OR Make Peter Dig Through Attic OR Make Jerome Borrow a Halloween Costume OR Get From Macabre Curiosities.
15 Fried Eggs (rare): Earned By: Get from Clearing Gray Ghosts OR Make Lois Clean Up Peter’s Mess OR Get from BoppityBob’s Joke Shop
10 Psychic Cards (Rare): Earned by: Make Chris Take Remedial Shapes Class OR Make Bruce Hold a Seance OR Make Bonnie Watch “Block Island Medium” OR Get from Madame Google’s Fortunes

Much like Comic-Con we’ll be given challenges to complete in an allotted amount of time to unlock cool prizes.
The first prize is….
The Ghostbuster Sign
Here’s how you complete the first challenge. After you craft Ghostbuster Peter the following challenge will popup:
You have 3 days to clear 12 Terror Dogs in Quahog. Again you need Ghostbuster Peter to do this. And each dog takes 2 hrs to clear….
SIDE NOTE: This challenge will trigger around completion of “Who You Gonna Call” Part 1.
Diane Simmons
Peter and Quagmire decide it’d be fun to dig up Diane Simmons! Here’s how you get her…
The quest to unlock her is called… Hell Hath No Fury Pt. 1
First you have to dig up/repair her Gravestone. This costs 250 Spirit Vials and takes 8hrs. Once you find her you only have FIVE DAYS to unlock her or she’ll disappear forever…
To unlock her you have to craft using your Cauldron. Here’s what you’ll need:
-Brew Chomps the Zombie in the Witch’s Cauldron
-Brew the Electricity Ball in the Witch’s Cauldron
(We suggest to wait to on digging her up and starting the countdown until Peter’s costume is built.)

I’m playing on android and had to go to the playstore to get the update. No prompts or splash screens in game for it. After updating it will ask you to reload. (Then crash @#$%!!!!) Then it’s Halloween. 🙂
Thank you Bunny and Alissa!!!!!! I received my Comicon poster and cards yesterday. Freakin’ sweet. Sadly, even though it had do not bend written in large letters on the front, and a sticker that said received damaged, bent, etc., the mail lady still folded it half and crammed it in my mailbox. Bent the poster and messed up the bottom pretty good. The cards made it out ok though. So instead of going in my closet in a cardboard tube I hung the poster over my computer desk. Bright side is now I get to look at it and tell everyone how I won it and how they will never ever be able to have one of their own. I’ve been sick the past few days so getting it really made my day. Thank you so much. If bees had knees you two would be them.

I’ve reported it, but on iOS, if you rotate the joke shop it shrinks, and if you rotate the gypsy tent it changes to the joke shop.

Omg this seriously looks like the most fun ever!!! I unlocked took ticket last night so all I have left is Adam west that’s not Halloween related and honestly I don’t even care about him now!! Haha I’m so excited it looks like they have put so much effort into this event!!!!! Thank you tinyco!!!!!! And of course bunny and alissa you’re amazing as well. I wish I could meet you guys next week when you come out!!

I noticed I’m getting jailhouse Meg items again even after I collected her a while back.. However I got the bright idea that these were dropping for something new. So I sent everybody on bucket tasks now I see it’s just a glitch. Atleast it’s only day 1 and there is room for error! Lol

I’m on Android and the event is working fine.
At first there was nothing but I hadn’t updated from the play store, installed that update and when I loaded up it gave the prompt to start the event.

For some reason I am able to send meg to get tattoo needles, and send joe to get soap bars. I’m not sure what/who they collecting these items for though.

Reason you cant get the scarecrow mate is because you need terror dog bones witch drop from the haunted house (8 hrs to fix) and the premium Pet Cemetery

If you are on Android and hvaing trouble getting the quest to trigger try turning on mobile data and restarting your game. Worked for me!

When I try to work on Peter’s Ghostbuster costume, it give me an error saying he’s “locked until you level up Peter Griffin to Level 1”. My Peter is maxed out. Anyone else having this problem? I’m on iphone.

Unable to visit friendw since update. When I first logged on this AM after update, no changes. Went to visit friends, game crashed. Reported it & Forced closed. Restarted device. Gave it a rest for a while. Just logged back on and noticed trees were different, cool! But no other changes & no pop up. Went to visit friends again, and game crashed. Came here to see what’s up. Excited for new content…. got Vinny, no Mayor West yet though.

So I launched the game and saw a quest icon appear for Peter. However, it quickly disappeared and all I can do is send him on a task for blue glass that goes to Meg.
I forced closed and reopened the game but it did not help. Any ideas?

My FP’s aren’t getting added to the total – on the lower right hand part where it shows your FP total it’s jus blank. In the event menu though, it shows I have enough for the scarecrow (he’s highlighted in green) but it won’t let me redeem him. Is anyone else having this issue?

Up and running – repairing haunted house now. Everyone’s current tasks will end before the house is finished – so I’m guessing it’s best to leave everyone off task until house is built. Would be nice if I get my last two microphones in the meantime to finish tom. Looks like another fun event.
Seems a bit scattered at first – but I’m sure it’ll start making sense soon. I’ve noticed some new tasks for Peter, mort and Seamus – to collect pails and drug paraphernalia- I’m guessing these will be needed to make potions or something related to the event.
