Hello There Clammers!
Halloween has arrived in Quahog! And Peter, in typical Peter fashion, has decided to tick off the dead. In doing so Peter accidentally opens a dark portal in the Quahog cemetery and unleashes all manner of ghosts and goblins on the city…your job is to help round up these ghost, goblins and ghouls! And there’s no cooler way to do that than with Predator!
Predator is an all new premium character introduced just for Halloween. Predator will not only help you earn Banshee tears BUT you’ll also earn more Ghost traps (to help trap poltergeist) as well! And I know you’re all dying to find out more about this new character in Quahog…so let’s break it all down for you below…
To add Predator to your Quahog it’ll cost you 250 Clams and don’t worry there’s no additional STUFF to get. Once you purchase this crazy hunter he is yours forever! He also comes with his Trophies…which will help you earn even more Spirit Vials and Fright Points (8 vials, 2FP/6hrs).
As mentioned above Predator will help you clear Banshee’s and earn Banshee tears for you. Predator will ALSO earn Ghost Traps to help trap those pesky poltergeist! (Note: the task to earn traps is 8hrs…but I’m finding that it ALWAYS drops the meters. So that’s a nice added benefit for spending the clams)
Predator does come with a pretty amusing questline, and a questline that involves a lot of characters. And as an added bonus, if you purchase him you’ll find out just why Quagmire thinks they should be friends!

So now that we know HOW to get Predator, let’s take a look at his tasks…

I’m really on the fence. I have 310 clams and I want to get a character, but I’m stuck between Predator and Consuela…. argh! Decisions… Plus, I know American Dad is coming up next so I don’t know whether to save the clams for that. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Consuela is a permanent character, so you can obtain her at anytime. That is my take on it anyway. We have NO idea what to expect with American Dad launch.

I got the quest quahog v predator. Part one is to buy his ship.
I don’t care for the decoration and would rather save for something I like.
Do you know if the quest is required to move forward?
I know it’s not the same as predator the guy available for clams, but wasn’t sure where else to ask this. :@
(Saving up for Cleveland or I would likely buy predator the guy available for clams. He’s awesome. )

Spent the clams on him straight away 🙂 he’s got some good animations but found that he has stopped getting xp half way through level 3 so cant finish off his quest line at the moment. He’s also never dropped a trap for me so unless he’s not working correctly in my game you’re very lucky. Loving the noises he makes though.

This is far and away the best thing I’ve ever spent clams to get. That’s saying a lot considering I’m down to 500 left on my 3rd tank. Bryan Cranston is in second place but he has s half as cool and cost twice as much.

Any word if they are going to make his banshee hunting task an experience earning task? I’m having trouble leveling him up because I want to use him to collect banshee tears but the task isn’t giving experience.

I bought him immediately and have not regretted it for a second! His talk it out task is awesome. However none of his available tasks seem to earn xp so I can not get to the next level, his bar is not moving at all. This makes it impossible to unlock his other tasks.

Hi, is it possible to increase the experience level of the predator? I can’t continue with the quest since its level is not increasing and thus certain actions are locked…

Predator has been the only chracter to make me buy clams. I needed him! In my opinion it was totally worth it! Just disappointed he doesn’t seem to do his roar! Does this mean we might get a Xenomorph too? *crosses fingers*

It appears my predator isn’t gaining XP over the last couple of days at least. I have only sent him on the poltergeist task. Does that not gain you xp for your character? Is it the same for the terror dogs for peter?

When you were meeting with Tiny, did they happen to let it drop whether this will be the only premium character during the event? As opposed to Comic Con, where we could see empty slots for the characters that would be included, we don’t have that for this event. It seems Predator would be helpful, but wondering if there’s someone else coming later (like Nathan did)…

I brought him straight away, didn’t have to even think about it, and I love his outdoor tasks, the Talk it Out ids my faveouite. I hope this means we will get a few other horror movie themed characters, I would definitely buy both Freddy and Jason if they got added.

250 is more than a fair price. I know every super premium player will get him regardless and every pure freemium player won’t so the question is if you are in the middle like me should you get him…and for me its a yes for multiple reasons. Firstly he is from one of my favorite movies and I love the character. Second is he is another person that you can use throughout the rest of the event to get items like tears and trsps…whereas if you buy a building or an item that drops a one time item for the phase you are in Predator will be able to collect useful items throughout each and every phase and will continue to get those useful items you need to brew things the entire event faster..so there is definitely value with this purchase. The only negative I can point out if you are going to purchase is he only gives a small amount of vials and fear points for his tasks..I just think any characters that you purchase event based should drop double than a normal character…just an opinion and not a crazy one

Love him and the sounds he makes, but he’s caused all my characters to stop leveling up including himself. Hoping there’s a fix soon. But that clicking growl is so worth it!

They should make it so that freemium players can get the premium characters at the end of the event for a ridiculous amount of spirit vials. Also, the questline for them stays.

I’m always careful of what I but with clams… You never know what awesome/helpful thing they’re gonna suddenly introduce next, so I try to save clams for limited time items that help out, special deals, and possibly rushing certain things to ensure I get the “timed challenge” stuff if I need to… BUT I bought Predator yesterday, and already totally worth it! I’m sorta working through his questline, but with a 3hr task to clear banshees, and an 8hr task to get ghost traps, he’s already gotten me closer to Slutty Cat Meg! If you can afford it, and you’re waiting for that “one special sorta-expensive premium item,” I might just be so bold as to say “look no further!” Just my opinion… I’m sure they’ll add some equally awesome stuff to buy as the event progresses. -MuMpY-

I love the predator but I have been trying to complete his quest line and he has been stuck on level 3 for 2 days. I have had him clearing banshees but his level bar is stuck again. It was going up but seems to have completely froze. I can’t compkete his quest as hide out in the jungle requires level 4. I have sent tinyco a ticket but have not heard anything. Is anyone else having the same problem?

This guy is awesome. if your on the fence i’d like to cast my vote to buying him. nice questline involving most everyone and still going for me plus he gets tears and traps that have dropped 100% of the time for me so far.

Speaking of traps, do we know what the max number of poltergeists per town is? I was thinking of hoarding my traps in case there are any more timed “clear *insert number* poltergeists” quests, but if there’s a max of 5 or something at one time then I’ll make sure to use up a few traps every once in a while to keep gaining items/vials.

I was wanting to know if you have Walkthroughs for Quahog vs. Predator and/or for Meg’s Love In All The Wrong Places? The Walkthroughs are my favorites because then I know when a character is going to be needed and I can keep myself from putting them on a 24-hour task just beforehand.
