Much like the Minions for Comic-Con you’ll now have to Stink Bomb the Trick-Or-Treaters!
SIDE NOTE FROM BUNNY: These Brats spawn out by the portal, move your maze over to the exit point from the portal. This should help to start directing them. More coming as I play with some items to make mazes. Feel free to elaborate on yours too. Post pics if you’d like. 😉
Where you are on FP Levels as well as Districts open will determine your Spawn Rate on these kids. Expect to see at least 2 every 30 mins Minimum and up to 6 Maximum. The total amount you will see will be at least 8 Minimum Total and up to 48 Maximum Total in your Quahog at one time.
Collect Stink Bombs to Defeat these little “terrors” and they’ll drop items for Ghostbuster Joe, Candy Corn and more for you!

The Traps also changed their timer from 6 hours down to 4 hours making it easier to get those Latchers.

With 8 hours to go and only able to get 6 marshmallows for the weekly challenge ecto and the power grid are lost too me. You suck tinyco. I’m a hard core ghostbusters fan and not getting ecto is like loosing your le so to speak. If I can’t get ecto I’m deleting this game and never spending money on you guys again.

My girlfriend started the game a few weeks back. I started back with the launch in the spring. Her game has Stay Puft to rocket but she has never triggered the trick or treaters. She is currently working on unlocking Joe and Herbert and does have lost boys roaming the town. What trigger is she missing?

If she just started, she may have a LOT of unfinished tasks just hanging round the task bar. Try have her complete some to allow those “in wait” to be able to pop up too.

Digging up Francis and building mariners hall now. Trick or treaters can be made easy with an offset t intersection. They tend to group there and I was able to bomb 5 to 7 each time. Got the portal in a little over 2 days this way. Minions coming back would be cool especially if they gave you what you had left when the event ended to pick it up again.

So, I am trying to brew the Pulpit… I have all of the ingredients I need, and it still tells me “not enough” to brew. Is this a common problem?

Man tinyco did a great job making it 150 instead of 200. That really saved my ass lol I buy clams, but I like to be able to do the events without using many clams. Thanks to you guys for all your hard work on here!

I recently dug up Francis but he does not seem to be leveling up for me, his next task requires level 6 but I have done 2 12hr tasks and his level remains the same. I know he is not dropping any experience points just vials and fright points.

I know the higher you go the harder it is to level up a character. Does the bar move at all? If it doesn’t move try contacting TinyCo and let them know what’s going on with it…

Absolute *****, I bought “alien” and I still didn’t even get zuuls portal or whatever, Tinyco or whomever, you realized how hard it was when you changed it from 200 kids to 150. We need more then three days for “weekly prizes” especially for this! Sorry I have a job and a life and I can’t play 24/7. Straight *****.

Closest I’ve come to cursing over this game. Lost out on the Tri-cycle and Fabu-Jet last time due to my horrible track record of bombing Minion Stewies, before I learned how to stop them in their tracks.
This time it’s even worse, as you can’t even corral the Trick-or-Treaters! I might have been okay with that if TinyCo hadn’t made it so much harder to collect bombs at first. 74/150 with two hours to go, so Zuul’s Portal and the Ecto-1 are lost to me.
Whatever, it’s only a game.

Characters are not dropping very many Stink Bombs, more like they’re dropping at a rare rate. So now I’ve only got 61/150 kids with 24 hrs left on the challenge. It would’ve been nice to know about it ahead of time, I would’ve stockpiled some bombs first.

Getting real pissed . Why do I need the library to do the weekly challenge? The other 2 started right away but on this one Peter and quagmire must clear ghost in library. Seems that the money I spend on this update is shut now.

If you have seen the Ghostbusters movie, they start their first attack in a library, so it is very suiting to the dialog to have one involved. It is NOT needed for the weekly challenge FYI, just the questline. The Weekly Challenge is triggered by Joe starting to bomb the first kids and shortly after Peter starts the CHallenge. 😉

I just got Meaty The Quick-To-Anger Clown, or more like “Mini” The Quick- To-Anger Clown. He appears “normal” size in Deco Mode, but he is smaller than the trick-or-treaters when placed. Is he supposed to be this small or is this a glitch? This seems like the same problem that some people had with the coked up giraffe. Has anyone else reported this problem?

Despite my earlier reservations I decided I like this game in general and couldn’t let myself miss the alien, especially after my son pointed out the quest to get him that grants 12 bombs. That’s borough me back in line. 21 hours left, 95/150 bombed and all the guys that can get bombs working on more. My math says if I hit a minimum of four kids each time I’ll complete the challenge. I know no launch goes perfect, but this change to the bomb drops and totals seems to be the same adjustments they made to the minions during comicon. I really hope Tinyco learns from this. And my kid just announced he earned the portal… Must be nice having only half the open land and compliant demon kids that gather by his high school /sarcasm…

Thing is, last event, everyone complained they had too many bombs for Minions. So they adjusted this go round. Also complaints of too many Minions.

I think it’s just right now. I can relate with the bombs, I was spending all my extra event currency on those boxes and ended with nearly 100 bombs left over. Got 170 clams from the boxes and all the decos so I can’t complain about that too much. It’s just frustrating when these timed quests pop, once you’ve clicked you can’t decline it.

I know. I get it. I just think that a company should be allowed SOME element of a challenge. It is what makes a game fun. Those extra challenges that make you feel like you overcame and accomplished something.

After I clicked on Peter and the quest popped up, I closed out of the game to stop the quest from starting. As a freemium player, I was able to save up 32 bombs before starting the quest which has helped immensely.

Almost got Joe ofv to bed and should get him by tomorrow, and just got Francis, and he also has a task for stink bombs, desperatly trying to get the 150 trick and treaters, still 60 short but not giving up hope if even slim, and now got tne Alian with the 12 extra bombs, so everyone working hard, just hope I can do it. O:-)

So Francis has to confess his sins. So why does he go to the chapel in the hospital? Why not go to the confessional that we had to brew in order to get him in the first place?
And the answer can’t be “oh it’s a decoration” because the LARPing forest is a decoration as well (it doesn’t earn rent) and Felicia has a task there.
It’s like TinyCo doesn’t actually think before assigning these things.
And again, it can’t be “well some people may not have it” or “they still haven’t put it in their town even though they brewed it”. I still had to find space for the office for Chris’ task for Kool-Aid Man. It was in my inventory. I put it out. And finished the task.
