Hello There Clammers!
Halloween has arrived in Quahog! And Peter, in typical Peter fashion, has decided to tick off the dead. In doing so Peter accidentally opens a dark portal in the Quahog cemetery and unleashes all manner of ghosts and goblins on the city…your job is to help round up these ghost, goblins and ghouls! We’ve already had the dead return, Predator & a bunch of crazy Trick-or-Treating kids…so why not add to the fun and throw Alien into the mix!
Alien is an all new premium character introduced just for Halloween. Alien will not only help you earn Terror Dog Bones BUT you’ll also earn more Smoke Bombs (to help stink out those pesky Trick-or-Treaters) as well! Alien also comes fully equipped with a humorous questline, one that gets Brian into the game. So let’s take a look at just who Man’s Best Friend really is….
Man’s Best Friend Pt. 1
Lois starts
Acquire Nostromo– 500 Spirit Vials, 8hr build
Completed Task Earns 25 Spirit Vials and 5FP
Man’s Best Friend Pt. 2
Lois starts
Get Alien- 200 Clams
Completed Task Earns 25 Spirit Vials and 5FP AND 12 Stink Bombs
Man’s Best Friend Pt. 3
Lois starts
Have Alien Chase Tail- 4hrs, Earns 25 Spirit Vials and 3FP
Have Brian Use the Restroom- 30m, Earns $10, 6xp
Completed Task Earns 25 Spirit Vials and 5FP

Have Brian Watch Lois Shower from Air Vent- 2hrs, Earns $30, 20xp
Have Alien Hide in the Vents in the Nostromo- 12hrs, Earns 35 Spirit Vials and 2FP

And with that you’ve completed Aliens’s questline!

On a side tangent, but related, anyone playing Alien Isolation? The playing areas are claustrophobic but expansive. So good. I don’t quite get the hang of rewiring things but so far I’m loving it!

I have to say that the whole demon stewie/minion event was more engrossing than this. I don’t have alien or predator (and maybe that’s the prob but I’m not really wanting to spend my clams on them) so I’m just farting around collecting bombs and waiting for Francis to level up like omg it takes 4ever) and not much else to do but wait until tomorrow’s portal upgrade. This event seems more flurry of activity and then snooze until next Thursday hits. So…hooray for tomorrow!

I’m at part 5 and am unlikely to let Brian scoot until after the Halloween event — he’s just too valuable getting vials and stink bombs. I am completely in love with Alien, though. TinyCo’s animators (some of whom I’ve met! squee!) did a great job with him/her.

It was a pretty good story line. Got mine all done except when I had to wait and level up the Alien to unlock tasks. The event is definitely getting better for releasing spirit vials (like the Comic-Con did with Blam). I am almost to the half way point to get Mr. Weed and still have 30 more hours (at least) until the next phase is released. Hoping there won’t won’t be too much to buy in the new phase.. Hoping to get Mr. Weed by the weekend.

I think alien is awesome he made it so I could get Zuuls portal and in the last part of this quest Brian says aliens name is Trevor

I haven’t shelled out clams for characters, previously, but I couldn’t resist with the Alien. Also, with the original task of 200 trick or treaters in 3 days, I liked the stink bomb incentive. With that being nullified by TinyCo’s update of the trick or treater challenge, I still like having the Alien. I’m not really sure how I will feel seeing him walk around after this event, but if they can add some creative seasonal costumes for him, that would be amazing. I don’t foresee that however and as it is, he really doesn’t add much to the event now that everyone and their mother in the game can earn stink bombs. Unless you are a huge Alien fan I’d say save your clams.

The character is cool but we need more dogs in the game, otherwise we cannot collect new Terror Dog Bones.
