So, I haven’t been reading the comments, so if this has been addressed somehow my apologies, but… I gotta ask about Spirit Vials.
I’m generally a freemium player, cashing only for characters and costumes. I’ve refrained from complaining in hopes that it would be easier to get them later on, and now I’m afraid it’s too late. Basically, I haven’t had more than 5000 vials at ANY point during this event, and Mr. Weed costs 17,500??? That’s insane, to me – literally no other item comes close to being that expensive.
So, I don’t know what to do. It doesn’t look like there are any more additions to this event, but I’m stuck at 500 / 22500 vials I need for both Connie and Mr. Weed. Ghosts+Poltergeists+Kids+Actions+Buildings don’t even net me 1500 a day. I could maybe bomb Stay Puft for an additional 3000 before I ran out of bombs. And sacrificing all my tools doesn’t even get me 5000. I literally don’t see a way for me to reach 22,500 over the next week. (And on top of that, there is still more stuff in the cauldron I’d like to brew, but I’m just prioritizing now).
Is there any tips or anything that could boost that? Should I invest in the biggest Vial building (500 every 8 hours? Would that really help at this point?)? Or is there a chance TinyCo will offer Mr. Weed as a cash character, or reduce his cost, or something?

Get the Trick or Treaters and Stay Puft. Send the vial earning characters on short tasks. There is more coming, not sure how it will help until it hits.

It isn’t too hard. Peter n Quagmire gotta cross streams, so make sure you got GB Quag to do it and you are good.

Watch for Peter to get the ! to Trigger it. Make sure you dont have a bunch of unfinished tasks in your menu clogging the way for new ones.

To unlock Freddy you must brew the Krueger cruiser 1000 spirit vials 20 candy corns five latcher talons, brew the Krueger Furnace 1000 spirit vials 15 latcher talons and 5 marshmallow goops, and brew Krueger tool she’d 1000 spirit vials ,50 candy corn and 5 marshmallow goop and then you must make Peter and quagmire cross the streams (4 hours).
So in total you need 3000 spirit vials, 70 candy corns, 20 latcher talons, 10 marshmallow goops and p
Peter and Quagmire free for 4 hours.

Freddy is not timed from what I can see
You will need to brew all three of his items and send quagmire and Peter on a 4hr joint task.
Timed challenge is to defeat Freddy in three days.

You have 3 days to brew all of his items, “cross the streams” and unlock Mr. Krueger. This is what defeats him. And it’s pretty darned easy if you’ve been collecting items all these weeks and not wasting them, and bombing SP everyday. I have so many items stockpiled and tons of vials. So it was a walk in the park to do this week’s challenges. (So far!).
So happy with this event! Love Ghostbusters. Love Alien. And love Halloween (despite being an Aussie – we don’t celebrate this holiday as a nation).
I only wish we could still get the nice high quality images like we used to see here and other sites of the items etc.

Less than 10,000 spirit vials, less than 100 of each the cauldren items. 24 of the 25 clams from connies witch outfit, to speed up crossing the streams, and it’s over. I was expecting more! I hoarded stink bombs, ghost traps, and stopped bombing stay puft 2 days ago banking the missiles. . It’s like playing a football match where the other team hands the ball over and walks off the field. Maybe there is more?

If you all have collected items along the way, ingredients I mean and have 3000 vials collected then you should be fine! I’m just waiting on a 4 hour task for quagmire and Peter to complete and I’m done 🙂 easily the quickest task yet!

Mmmh, all i wonder about is how viable the bombs/traps/bombs for bonus vials are. bombing stay puft might be more profitable, might not be, same with everything else. I’ll wait to see what you guys think.

To unlock dressy ya gotta make the Krueger cruiser, furnace and toolshed and send peter and quagmire on a 4 hr quest to cross streams. Ya can create the items b4 u unlock him so if ya worried check if ya got enuff materials 1st.

Wow, I’m so prepared for this phase that I finish with everything for Freddy but just needed to wait for Peter and quagmire to finish the task so I can get him….didnt expect it to be so easy. If u have plenty of vials and jars of all types the go ahead and dig Freddy up. Very easy to get him and finish fifth challenge

Get Freddy and the last items are yours. It’s way easy this week. Just make sure you have been saving up you cauldron ingredients and have lots of vials to spend. If you’ve been playing all these tasks all month instead of just for the main questlines you will have no problem. Now I can go ahead and start building multiple zombies for my horde.

To unlock Freddy, you had to brew Kruger Furnace and Kruger Toolshed, and then “Make Peter and Quagmire Cross Streams”. There is also the “Ghostbuster Challenge Week 5: To The Ecto-1” quest that opens up when you click the ! tasks, which is the 3 day timed event where you have to check out the prize and then “Defeat Freddy in 3 Days”. I don’t know what that means yet since my Peter and Quagmire are busy making rockets.

I got the ecto-1 in about 2 mins 🙂
And unlocked Freddy in about 5 mins
Basically stockpiled thousands of vials and all the other stuff required so brewed his car, furnace and shed straight away 🙂

Basically once you unlock him, it will ask you to brew 3 different items and also have Quagmire and Peter to do a joint task. Brewing items will require quite a few of ingredients and I am sure the ladies will explain them beautifully. If you don’t have over 40 of all individual ingredients, don’t tap on him yet.

Well, already brewed everything for Freddy and now just waiting for Peter and Quagmire to finishing crossing streams (which is kind of funny but they could have done so much more with the animation)… Good thing I had lots of vials and jars saved up 😊
Oh and Lois has a few new vial-earning tasks now…

Once you open the tomb you have three days to cross the streams (4hrs with Peter and Quagmire), and brew the three FREDDY related items. If you have a stock of jars this is easy, without it… Very hard.

Oh I can tell you… you need to repair Freddy’s Mausoleum, then you need to do all Freddy’s unlocks in 3 days to defeat him by Brewing the following items…
Think it was about 250 vials to repair the Mausoleum…
Krueger Cruiser: 1000 vials, 5 Marshmallow Goop, 30 Terror Dog bones
Krueger Tool Shed: 1000 vials, 50 Candy Corn, 5 Marshmallow Goop
Krueger Furnace: 1000 vials, 15 Latcher vials, 5 Marshmallow Goop
And after that just tell Peter and Quagmire to cross streams which will take 4 hours if you didn’t rush the quest like I did – since there was hardly anything I wanted to spend my clams on…
So in total that makes
3250 vials, 15 Marshmallow Goop, 30 Terror Dog Bones, 50 Candy Corn, 15 Latcher vials and 4 hours of patience as you wait for Peter and Quagmire to Cross streams…
So basically… if saved up all that and have clams to spare you’re pretty much finished…
Kinda weird that I feel there’s more to it – I spent my clams on speeding up an event… buying 10 rockets for 50 and the other 50 was spent on Stewie’s box of wonders for the last item I wanted – The headless horse statue which I didn’t think I’d get so soon… so generally all I have to do is save up for Mr Weed.
I even got the witch costume but it greyed out the requirements for me I’m afraid so you’ll have to unlock the portal yourself to find that out – but if you already have these items you might as well just get it over and done with since there’s really not much left of this event to do.
Feel free to verify this Bunny – I’m sure you’re already working on the update as we speak the requirements were over so fast for me I didn’t even notice how many vials I used unlocking all that stuff lol.

Apparently Freddy Kruger is glitched already… I brewed the shed that is needed for him and it never registered into the character.

Be careful I ran into a glitch. I brewed freddys tool shed twice and still doesnt say i unlocked it. I contacted tiny co and tried closed the game. Just keeping you posted on what I saw!
