My issues seems a bit different than a connection issue:
Ever since the end of the Halloween theme and the game icon changed to the American Dad crossover, the game does not load at all with my profile just stuck at the load screen with the progression bar at half way. If I delete the game and reinstall I am able to play at level 1. But as soon as I connect via my facebook profile, which shows me at level 20, the game gets stuck at loading again.
I have contact them for assistance.

Now the easiest way for vials is turning 5 marshmallow for 100 vials had 150 along with poltergeist allowed be to get mr weeds; easily 3k vials

Jessica…delete all u r roads but a small piece and build a maze around it. They appear on the roads also. That’s how I get 15 most times on the kids

I can’t find the costume consuela quest line info on u r site? Also if I have the costume but don’t finish the quests, will it b there when the event ends? I’ve been not doing it cause the 24 hr tasks and i need my people free. . Also i got the costume for her first try on the box

I was lucky. I got one of each except the sugar skull. Got Consuela on my 6th try. Phew! I don’t have Mr. Weed yet. Now I have 12,000 vials. Need to reach 17,500 before the end of the event to get Mr. Weed. Does anyone know the fastest way to get vials?

For me…Stay Puft and the kids. Some are using Peter’s 1 minute task over n over to get them too.

Didn’t think of using Peter’s 1 minute task. I usually get 5 kids at a time. I’m not good at building mazes. I tried building a maze at the beginning of the gate to catch them when they spawn, but it didn’t work very well. I guess it was only spawning 3 kids at a time. So the kids aren’t really worth it for me, so I’m thinking of trading 3 bombs for 100 vials.
Is the best method for Stay Puft to push out the 24 hours each level as long as you can to try and save up rockets? That’s what I’m trying for right now. I have 51 purple, 14 blue, and 37 red. Stage 2 for 7 rockets ends in 20 hours.
Do you know if the questline for Consuela will disappear tomorrow, too? Or if they questline for Mr. Weed will disappear after the event ends?

No confirmation on all the questlines yet, but with Consuela costume still able to sit in storage until player buys her…I assume it will stick around.

Is the Consuela deal available all the way through the 4th, or will it disappear at the end of the 3rd? If the former, I’ll have enough vials to get Mr. Weed, which will give me the extra clams I need to make the 180 for Consuela, but if she goes back up to 300 at the end of today, I won’t be able to get her.

Btw, can someone help me with layout ideas? I’m cramming so much stuff in, but I’d like it to have a semblance of a town…if we were to have every building in this game, I think there would honestly be no roads…after the event, I need to do a total redesign. Help! (TSTO at least gives you a design template with the parking lots and pavement…I’m flying blind here! Can you guys post pics of your town for ideas?

After getting Mr. Weed, I took advantage of the sale and bought Consuela. I got the costume on the second try, and also got the fountain, Ofrenda, Death’s dog, and 2 sugar skulls. Also saving vials to get all the Día de los Muertos decorations. After that, since I LOVE SUGAR SKULLS, I’m going to keep getting as many boxes as I can until the event runs out tomorrow. Hooray! I was fortunate – I got a skull, then death dog, then the costume.
I was interested in the fat guy, but I think he just stands there? Doesn’t even do anything? If so, then I’m not bothered about anything else in the box and I can focus on getting that Slimer.

Well I went and spent 1000 more vials on the box hoping for Consuela’s costume and again just sugar skulls. That’s all the prizes plus FOUR sugar skulls and still no costume.
As I said earlier in this thread, if TinyCo sets certain expectations like most boxes having no repeats, then they have one item that does repeat, they need to be clear on that at the outset. And FOUR skulls in a row on a “50/50” chance seems extremely unfair.
Especially for an add on to something that cost clams. They turned a positive experience when I jumped at the sale price for the character – my first time spending clams – and made it into a negative.

Managed to get Consuela skin on the eighth try! I only had to get three sugar skulls. Lol. I waited a day before trying again because I wasn’t getting her and the. Got her on second try for that day. Still missing the ofrenda but don’t care about that unless I have extra vials after I get Mr Weed.

Will Consuela still be on sale when the weekend is over, or does she go back up to the regular price when the mystery box is gone? I haven’t had much chance to play this weekend and I was hoping I could just wait a few days to buy her in case I come up with enough clams without spending more money.

I must of been one of the luck ones only ended up with 2 skulls, got everything else in the box. Going to put one on each side of the Pawtucket Panaderia. I did break down and buy Consula as it’s a Good clam price now, getting the Ball and Chain Float to sit next the my Gay Pride Float. All in All I think it’s been a GREAT event!!! I got everything that I had wanted. Ad still playing to see just how may vials I end up with.

I, too, am a victim of multiple Sugar Skulls, and no Consuela outfit, even though I only bought her BECAUSE of this promotion. I have NO use for multiple Sugar Skulls in my Quahog.
My thought? Maybe TinyCo could introduce one more “Conversion Mechanic” to the Witch’s Cauldron – Convert Sugar Skulls into Spirit Vials? Ideally, 1 Sugar Skull -= 500 Vials, but even if they want to make a trade-in price cheaper, fine. Then, those of us who got too many of these at least can get them out of our inventories and get SOME use out of them?

So, after two more tries, got Consuela’s comstune, so I finished out the prize box. I’m not bad-mouthing any of it – TinyCo has gained serious loyalty from me in the way they respond to player comments and suggestions, etc – but I do wish I could sell my sugar skulls – well, all but one or two, anyway. Still, I’ve achieved everything but the Premium buildings in this event – I DID spend money to get the premium characters, and even bought Consuela during this sale (though to be fair, those clams came from completing character/costume sets), so I’m VERY pleased with the event (and the game in general). No complaints. Will say I’m a voter on the “More Main World Space” point, though – even without all the premium buildings, I want to have all my freemium and regular buildings laid out on the map at the same time, but I also know I’m anal retentive on those sorts of things, so…

What arr the odds to get the Consuela costume? Is it the same as when we had to get Rupert. I’ve opened the box 11 times and have everything except her. I now constantly receive the Sugar Skull which I bave NO use for. This may be my last event. I’m not liking this as much as I thought. Waaaaay to hard to earn spirit vials in an appropriate quantity as. Impaired to past event currencies.

The costume will remain “dormant” until you purchase her. Then once you have her, you can go to Al’s and “create” it from the flower icon you won and she will have it.

My first 6 tries netted me everything but Consuela’s skin. The next 14 gave me sugar skulls. I guess there’s a reason they say the 15th time’s a charm. So yeah, I’m pretty dedicated (read: insane). Think I’ll check myself into the Brookfield Asylum for a little “rest.” 😜

Still trying for costume, hoping for no more sculls, shame you can win more than one but that is where the chance comes in so can understand why, but some good stuff for not to many vials in the boxes, waiting for my next 500 to try again, fortunatly saved everything for Freddy, and he was the easiest one yet to get, because of this had quite a few bombs collected and bombing Stay Puft when he appears and as I am on max level 1000 vials every time, which helped to get Mr Skin too, getting low now but with luck should get a couple more hits.

I got everything but the skin. So I thought I was on my last turn and instead I got a skull and another and another and another and then the skin. I thought you only ever got one of each. What a waste of vials, only wanted the skin. Still got loads of other stuff to get like mr weed. That did annoy me!!

Still unable to get in game, almost 24 hours now. I emailed, so hopefully I get a response soon, but I am starting to think I will be missing out on Consuela’s costume as well as Freddy/ECTO-1, which doesn’t make me happy. I could be earning vials to get these things right now… argh. 😦

Is there a reason that TinyCo doesn’t animate any of the new buildings they release (as in when a character has a job in a building it doesn’t light up or anything)? I had asked this a while back when you guys had the Q & A with TinyCo, but I never saw the post with the answers. Love this site though!

There can be issues with game play if too many items are animated. So they do animate some things temporarily, it all depends on how well it works out once it goes live to millions of players. If it causes crashes, they won’t do it.

What they should do is make the buildings animated only when you actually tap them, that way they aren’t using resources all the time.
