TinyCo decided to drop a pretty cool update on us. Looks like I better put on my Zoot Suit and grab my Tommy Gun, cuz it’s about to go all Gangster up in here. 😉
In order to have the Update Launch, go to your App Market and download the 1.9.0 Version of the app. For those that experienced the “Idle” Consuela Error Pop Up, please force close and restart the app to clear it out. You will also need to be in district 3 and have Al’s unlocked as well.
The FatFather/ Mobster Event will End THURDSAY JULY 9TH @3PM PACIFIC TIME!!!
So far we have seen it on iOS, nothing in Google Play just yet so hang in there. Keep Checking. It is in Google now, may have to search or restart device to locate it.

This will be in the Top Center of your game. Cookies will be the Event Currency and used for many purchases so keep an eye on them.
EVENT MENU
Tapping on the Don Corleone Image in the lower Right Corner will take you to the Main Event Menu. There you can see all the Basics for the Entire Event.
Here is where you will see the Event Countdown Timer, Current Cookie Count, Featured Items for the Week, Basic How To, and Quick Link to in game FAQ.

TROPHY ICON
This will directly link you to the Leaderboards. They are not active just yet, not til Monday. Once they go live, all actions prior WILL be counted into the totals. Your “MOB STATUS” is impacted by the Fedoras you collect and more. We will have more of a rundown on this in a separate post.

EVENT AREA
Over to the far right center of your game, you will see the same area reserved for Events now filled with many new and cool looking items. As in previous Events, all may not be in play right now but will be put into use as the Event Progress each week. More detailed info on each section in separate post, but here are the basics.
Here are some of the items you will see~
Copahavana: This is Don’s Nightclub. It is where you will hire the Goons needed to move up in the Event and go after your Rivals. The first Goon will cost 15 Cookies to Hire. It will take 30 minutes for them to be available. You will have to wait 30 minutes for the first to finish before a 2nd will start progressing automatically, and so on. You can hire up to 3 at a time to keep in progression. Or use Clams to speed the process. As you buy more RV’s you can increase your Goon Capacity of how many you can hire at a time by 3 per RV.
Sports Car: Not in use yet, will update when unlocks
Chihuahua Throne: Not in use yet, will update when unlocks
Mansion: Unlocks after Part 6 Mob Mentality. You will be asked to Upgrade the Mansion in Part 6, at which point you will see the PG area. Lol. Upgrading the Mansion is similar to Upgrading Levels in previous Events. As you get to the Next Level, more items launch into the game. Right now, it shows Cleveland Jr & Luchadors for Hire as the Next Phase 2. (Unlocks June 11th)
Brian Statue: Not in use yet, will update when unlocks
Stewie Statue: Not in use yet, will update when unlocks
CONSUELA’S SAFE HOUSE
This unlocks after Part 6 Mob Mentality, You will get a pop up telling you about her Safe House, once you tap “Ready” you will see an additional plot in the Event Area open up that looks like a Warehouse. It will have a GIANT ! over the Entrance.
Tapping on it, you will notice there is an Obstacle in the way you will need to clear in order to progress inside the area.
- “The Pinata Obstacle”: You will need TWO Goons to unlock it. (Goons at Copahavana Night Club). +10 Fedoras & 3 Mexican Candy (For Diabeto)
- “The Vicious Chihuahuas Obstacle”: You will need THREE Bags of Dog Food to unlock it. (Dog Food from Make Mort Retreat Cowardly- Uncommon) +10 Fedoras
- “The Forklift Obstacle”: You will need THREE Goons to unlock it. (Goons at Copahavan Night Club) +15 Fedoras & 3 Mexican Candy (For Diabeto)
Once you pass all 3 Obstacles, you will see the Sparkling Forklift loaded with a pallet of Lemon Pledge ready to tap on the Check Mark. Once you tap it, you will see the info about the Raid. How defeating Kingpin Consuela will earn you even MORE items.

- Stars: 50 Cookies & 250 Fedoras
- Stars: Bad Cockroaches
So you will again see 3 Obstacles in the way to get the next “RAID” complete. More details in another post coming.
COOKIE TRUCKS
These pop up around Mob Mentality Part 3 and will be driving all over your streets of Quahog. Tapping on one will trigger a pop up letting you know you need to hire Goons as well as showing the count of how many you currently have available (#/1). Still verifying Spawns on them, much like previous events they will most likely vary by Player. In my town, I saw 5 right away. Remember to Train Goons in the Night Club to attack them.
My Payout was 5 Fedoras & 25 Cookies for taking one down.
Remember, the Goons are in the Copahavana Nightclub for Hire. 15 Cookies each and 30 minutes (one at a time) to process.
CHARACTER TASKS
Take a look around as you will see there are many of those prior Event Characters that will be helping with the drops (like Star Trek ones). A complete list coming soon of those that will help. So if you got some in storage, now is a time to check.
Star Trek Characters dropping Fedoras may have been a glitch, clarifying that now along with WHO is supposed to help on the drops.
UPDATE: Star Trek Characters dropping Fedoras (Mob Rep) WAS a glitch. So you will not see them pay out.
BASIC RUNDOWN
Your goal for the Event will be to collect Cookies and Fedoras along with training goons to take down Rival Gang Cookie Trucks & Safe Houses. This will help you not only gain items within the game, but also on the Leaderboards.
After Mob Mentality Part 1, Here Comes the Don will trigger asking you to Become the Fatfather. Quagmire will start Part 2 of Mob Mentality. Peter Part 3 of Mob Mentality where you will need to earn 25 Cookies (prior earned will not count)
That is the basics for now. More still to come as we play through it all. There is a LOT of really cool stuff. WOOHOO! So keep an eye out on the site for more posts and details coming soon.

Family Guy Addicts 
So is anyone else having trouble again loading into the game. I went to create School girl Tricia and as I pressed the create button the game kicked me out. When I went to try and log back in I can’t get passed the loading screen. I don’t even know if I was able to finish creating and get Tricia’s outfit which it took me forever to earn the 20000 cookies to unlock her. I sent tinyco a message after it took me a couple of tries loading in with no success.

Wasn’t sure where to post this, but my cookie trucks are now dropping regular game currency. Not very helpful for reaching those end of event goals. Just thought I’d share and see if anybody else was experiencing the issue?

You can only hire 6 at a time. The RVs increase your bank, so what you’re allowed to have in your town at one time.

How do I get 7 goons at the same time to get past the obstacle on he casino? I have 2 shady TV’s but still only able to hire 6 masked goons at a time and this obstacle requires 7….. so I’m confused as to how to get past it.. thanks

I was working toward unlicking the S&M cow but was thwarted when the game stopped dropping the one final item I needed for about three days straight, until the time limit expired – lots of time wasted there.
Now it looks like its happened again with Diabeto. I only needed two taco’s to unlock him but none have dropped for a few days. Yesterday I had to install an update and now Diabeto has vanished. This means I cannot complete the safe house tasks. More wasted time I guess!

I get confused a lot on. What I’m supposed to do I usually figure it out when game about over. This 1 i got most figured out except the gold truck

Yah. I reported it too as I saw more Players here stating same. So they are aware, but those impacted messaging in will help so they can see into their games and why it isn’t progressing.

Anybody else having issues with crashing? My game crashes like mad everytime im iI’ve lost clams due to this issue and its taking me longer to raid Consuelas! Frustrating!

Forgot to add when I restarted the game after the gold cookie truck crash glitch The goons were still used up and I had no gloves as it said I had needed 125/125 gloves to unlock clevlends skin.

Well recent crash issue happened at around 7:00.am on my iPad.
I used 6 goons on a gold cookie truck thinking finally one spawned and then boom game crashes. So that can also be added to the list.
So if it happened to anyone else you are not alone.

I think I speak for all when I say we’ve been wanting the cockroach thugs for a while. I hope they have quests. Also I’m not sure if the leaderboards are 100 percent legit. I saw ppl with outstanding amounts of rep and I’m thinking does tiny co understand that global leaderboards even on game consoles haven’t been legit since call of duty 3. It takes a lot of man power to make sure legit ppl are kept there and non legit are taken off.
And seeing how everyone effects the prize you get for global in a way then that means if just a few people use hacks like in tsto then real honest ppl won’t get the prizes they deserve.
Guess tiny co isn’t as on the ball as everyone thinks.

As for the Leaderboards, TinyCo WILL be policing them the Crash Issue was just top priority first. (Many have already been shut out of them, you just don’t see those stats.) I have a feeling we will see changes come and go on them. 🙂

Only moments away from new content… I can hardly contain my excitement! My game still crashes like crazy, but I don’t even care. It’s like winning the lottery every time I am able to load it and do something! Adds a whole new element to the game, don’t you think? 😉 New Quests… WooHoo! Bring it!

Since they removed the silver ticket from morts task I’ve tried 5 times to get the dog food and it never works. Just wondering if a glitch was created?

Nope. It’s still the same, you just now won’t see a ticket in the “other” spots. Just blank now. Report it if you feel your drops aren’t functioning. Mine still drop as intended, even before with Pawtucket items. It’s not often, because its uncommon, but it does drop.

How do you get those gurl scout cookies? It says ‘character tasks’ but is isnt very informative.. Which characters, what tasks exactly? Or is it random? I just opened the game, tapped on everyone to collect from their night tasks, hired three goons, raided three trucks and my cookie counter showed only ten more cookies.. It will take ages to get 500
Am I doing something wrong, is there a trick?

I have just opened the Diabeto quest and I see you have to have a clam building to get the Mexican candy. There is not even one character drop to help out with this item. Fair enough you can use clams to speed up the unlock to buy a premium building to help, but to force our hand right from the start seems a little cheeky.

When we claim the indiviual prizes for the fedoras, does it subtract from the total?
I have not tried to claim any of the individual prizes yet because I am unsure how exactly it works. I am up to Prize 3, but have not clamied any of them yet.

No. Those are only “Goals”. An overall accumulation of all the Fedoras you earned for your Mob Rep.

I’ve claimed the first two individual prizes already (250 cookies and 10 clams), so you should be able to claim them as soon as you get enough. It doesn’t take away from your total fedoras and makes earning enough for the next individual prize easier 🙂 Well done on making it to Prize 3! I’m sitting at 799 fedoras, so hopefully I’ll get that prize in a day or two.

Also similar to what someone else mentioned earlier my game crashed after I cleared Consuela’s Safe House. After defeating the forklift, I tapped the shiny pallet of Lemon Pledge to claim my prize and it crashed. When I restarted it had no memory that I had done any of this and my star reward was non existent. I had to prepare another 3 goons to raid her Safe House all over again only for it to crash again! Same thing — no memory I had even done anything. Finally after getting the game from Google Play again (and more time building 3 more goons for the raid) I cleared the Safehouse and the game saved my progress and I got the Star. The Star I should have had the first time I defeated her.

I got to the forklift clearing stage and my game crashed. Now I can’t get it to load no matter what I do, even uninstalled and reinstalled 5 or 6 times, I’ve lost count! This is ridiculous! This is supposed to be fun! I spent $70 on clams to kickstart this event, as I do for all them, and not the thing won’t work! I feel cheated here and there is no way to get a live human on the phone to fix it, just send an e-mail and pray someone sees it!

Did you try removing some items from your device to free up more Memory Space? Try WiFi vs Data to load it?
We are still also reporting any issues we see to them as well, so they are aware. 🙂

More than half of my device data space, 2.9 GB (out of 5 GB), is free and am running off a secure home wifi network. It restarted long enough for me to do the first raid, get to the success screen then hard crashed again and continues back to it’s previous ways.
For the money spent on this game, and I am a medically retired veteran student on a VERY fixed income, things like this shouldn’t happen, OR there should be a live body to call given the copious amounts of money TinyCo is obviously making off this game alone!

They are on it. Just because it is a weekend, they are not asleep at the wheel. Trust me. I talk with them all the time. The only difference is those responding to emails are in short supply on the weekends. But there is ALWAYS someone around in tech watching the game. I know this as I have been in communication with them since late last night on crashing concerns… see the post below. 😉

The problem is, other than the automated response, there IS no response to the e-mails, at least in nothing close to a timely manner. Like I said a 1-800 help line where you could get to someone, even if you had to wait or get an automated “We are aware of this issue and are working to fix it” would make a HUGE difference.
I am a retired Public Affairs/Crisis Communicator that had to deal with calming the public in the face of natural disasters (T.S. Allison, 9/11, etc.) and I can assure you that even just reassuring those concerned that their concerns have been noted by live bodies (hence my posting here because I TRULY value and appreciate you guys!!!) goes a long way to assuaging the concerns of those people, or at least reassuring them that their issues have been brought to the proper attention and are somewhere in “the machine” being worked on.
I’m sorry to vent but I hate to sit by, especially if I have a problem or see a solution, and say nothing. I feel if you aren’t contributing to making the world better you are actively making it worse.

I get it I do. Keep in mind they’re TINY. Hence the name. All issues handled in house by a handfull of employees. It’s nothing like the monster gaming houses that Outsource worldwide to have scripted reps answer your questions.

Im having the same problem after reaching the exact same spot. After reinstalling 2 different times, I am able to get in every once in awhile. Not sure why consuelas safe house is causing so much trouble. No load game no no…

I’ve done alright this weekend I’m enjoying the update but really hope that last cigar box drops in the morning as I’ve needed the costume to continue questlines since Saturday. Got the 2nd prize of 10 clams this morning though so that’s good. In regards to the leaderboard I’m just going to see what happens I have no idea how many people play this game but I’m guessing it’s a lot so this should be interesting. I’m just glad the game hasn’t punished me for putting building half on the water.

I’m in the same boat is you, only with the wingtip shoes. I need 3 and then I can make the costume, so hopefully tomorrow. It seems like there’s a lot of people playing. I’m currently 20 something thousand, but I’m sure that’s about to change since the Consuela part is unlocked now. Good luck on the cigar box!

I’ve been grinding away at this and have been very lucky with the drops for Peter’s Fatfather outfit and I know that I haven’t collected enough fedoras but all of the prizes say that they are ready to be claimed. Is that a glitch?

No, do me a favor instead. Send me your Player ID info from your game (Menu, Account, Long # lower right). A screenshot will be fine. We are tracking it so it won’t interfere with your ability to participate in other aspects of the game.

I also have the glitch where all of the mob rep prizes say “Claim!” all the way up to Kingpin Consuela. The slots also first show large hamburgers before the actual images load. It has been this way since I got the event started and common sense told me that wasn’t right. I didn’t claim anything until I read the guide here. I have been adhering to the FAQ to know what number of Fedoras should make me eligible for what level of prizes. So far I have Prizes 1, 2, and 3 legitimately earned but I had to claim them myself since everything is incorrectly available. I have just been on my own honor system and planned to claim Prize 4 (Fake Romantic Gondola Ride) when I have reached 2500 Fedoras. I’m glad someone else posted about it because I’ve been scared to report it for fear TinyCo would think I hacked my game.

Man, this was work to get it on my android tablet! my iPhone was no problem. But it never showed up as an update on my android tablet.
Come to find out the update was deemed “too mature” for my default parental settings! So I had to google how to fix that.
Then it said I was out of room! (darn verizon defaults that don’t let me delete apps I never use!! I need to root the darn thing). So after a lot of wrangling & deleting… I FINALLY got it on my tablet! *phew*! I sure hope this event is worth all that trouble!!

I never had a chance to get Cleveland into my game and he is not available right now do you know if I will have a chance to get him in the near future so I can use him in the mobster event thank you.
