Bouncing by to focus on some more questions & concerns we are seeing from Players now that Week 2 is a few days into the Mobster Event content. Take a look at all the information and see if any of it applies to your concerns.

QUEUE vs CAPACITY

For more information on How To Hire Wiseguy Goons and Copahavana Basics, tap HERE. 

This seems to be a reoccuring question, so I would like to Clarify it again. There are TWO separate things going on with all of the Goons causing a bit of confusion.

Goon Recruiting Queue

The Copahavana Queue: This is essentially you tapping on a Goon to “HIRE” them and waiting the timer to process that “HIRE”. You can only “HIRE” 6 Goons total MAX. No matter what. This is only Processing “HIRE”, nothing more. If you want to “HIRE” more, you need to wait for one of the 6 to complete the Process.

Don's Nightclub Goons for Hire Capacity 9

YOUR Capacity: This is how many Goons (Luchador & Wiseguys) you can  have total MAX in your Quahog. This total is both those wandering your Streets of Quahog or those Processing for “HIRE” in the Copahavana. So if YOUR Capacity is 9, you could potentially have 3 Goons wandering the streets while 6 more are Processing to “HIRE”.

You can purchase RV’s to increase your Capacity, but that is ALL they will increase, the Capacity. The “HIRE” Queue MAX will still always be 6 at a time processing.

 

In other words, if you want MORE Goons to be able to wander your town… Increase your Capacity. But at the same time, also keep them processing for “HIRE” in the Copahavana so you can continually kick them out onto the streets and start another one up til you reach your Capacity.

 


iOS &  AMAZON PATCH UPDATE

Green Apple

Those that experienced the Crash Issue along with Android, you will have to wait until YOUR App Market pushes the patch to be able to load it. So keep checking your App Market and the Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff App Page to see when “UPDATE” shows so you can get the Patch into your device.

This is causing a 2nd point of confusion I want to clarify, if you are playing on two separate brand devices (or 3), you CAN’T update one and expect the game to work on the other NOT updated devices.

For instance, if you have an Android Device… Updated the Patch from Google Play… you will NOT be able to play the game on iOS too, as iOS does not have the patch and the game will not be able to recognize any of the new stuff Android has. It will just continually force you to the Apple Market trying to seek out the same Update Patch Android has.

So if you Updated on Android, you will now only be able to play on Android until the Other Markets push the patch. Same goes for neighbor visits. If your Neighbor is on a new version and you are not, visiting them will not be available for same reason. An old version not being able to recognize a new version.

 


COOKIE TRUCKS

Gold Cookie Delivery Truck

So still some questions on the Gold Cookie Trucks I want to touch on. I am seeing many Players state they are only seeing Coins, Cookies, and/or Mob Rep pop out as an option instead of the Glovs. I am also noticing this is happening to Players that are NOT into Week 2 Content. Gold Trucks are part of Week 2 Release (though Week 1 can still see them).

In other words, Players NOT seeing Gloves are still in the Mob Mentality questline and not the new Cookie Crumbles questline. Clarifying this with TinyCo, but that is what we are seeing on this end.

(Side Note: Yes, many of us are seeing them very plentiful today)

UPDATE 6/15: Per TinyCo Confirmation, you will now have up to THREE Gold Trucks in your town at a time. No timers at all on them. So no rush. Take your time to Clear them and more will come. 

Also ANY Player that gets Gold Trucks should now also get Boxing Gloves too. No Questline restrictions.

MY TASKS WON’T TRIGGER

As this still seems to be cause of concern, I will post on it again.

Many are stating they are not seeing progress in the game. Let’s take a look at the Basics of ensuring your are moving along in your Event.

WHAT tasks do you have open in your Task Menu?

1: If you have a LOT of them, clear some out. Your Task Menu can only hold so many tasks at a time before it gets too crowded. So clear some out to make room for some new ones or you may not see anything new trigger until you do.

2: Take a look at the Task Names & Part #. If you have NOT completed Questlines fully to a specific point, you will not see items in the Event unlock nor be able to Upgrade and move on to Week 2.

ALL IN QUESTLINE

UPDATE 6/17: TinyCo stated they will be making a change to All In to be triggered as soon as Cookie Crumbles Part 1 Completing. This should help those Players that have not seen it yet. 

I am taking this one a step further. All In Pt. 1 seems to be causing many aggravation, so I am going to focus on some things I am seeing.

Cookie Crumbles Pt. 2

All In Pt 1  is not triggering by the end of Cookie Crumbles Pt. 2: Per TinyCo it should be triggered in your game by the Completion of Cookie Crumbles Pt. 2 (this means Pt. 2 Completed and you see the completion pop up), so if it is not… take a look at the steps just above this and see if clearing tasks helps it pop up, if not report it from your game to TinyCo.

All In Part 1 Completed

Buildings NOT unlocking from All In Pt. 1: There is a second concern I have seen. The Buildings that Completing All In Pt. 1 is supposed to unlock are not unlocking. What SHOULD happen is you should complete All In Pt. 1, see the completion screen with it showing the Icon it is unlocking the Buildings for you, then be able to go purchase them from your game menu. Instead Players are on All In Pt. 2 and the Buildings are still saying unlock Pt. 1. This does need to be reported to TinyCo right away.

TUBA DROPS

UPDATE 6/17: TinyCo did look into the Tuba drops, stated they are looking into other options to help Players earn them due to the feedback everyone was sending in. 

I am seeing Players report concerns the Tuba drops are not Always with the Gurl Scouts. I have passed on those concerns to TinyCo, but if you’d like… please also report those concerns from your game.

 


BAD COCKROACHES NOT FOUND

UPDATE 6/17: TinyCo looked into many Players games that messaged in on this “issue”. What they have found is the majority of Players did have the Cockroaches in their Inventory.  So please make sure you are checking the Inventory Storage for them. This is NOT the same as the Shopping Cart Menu. There is even a separate Tab in Inventory now while Events are in place for the Event. This may apply to those stating same for Geronimo’s Palace too.

In Week 1, we had Consuela’s Safe House to complete. As it plays along with the Mob Mentality Questline. The last part of the Safehouse, Raid 3 of 3 and Mob Mentality Part 8 , you are supposed to complete the Final Raid and get the Cockroaches.

For me, that was finishing the final run, tapping on the Sparkling Lemon Crate on the Forklift at the end of the Safehouse, getting the pop of for the Raid Completed, and then the Cockroaches appeared in my town.

Players are stating they are getting to this point but can’t find the Cockroaches. My suggestion is to first make sure they are not hanging out around town somewhere as they are kinda small (2×2). Check your Inventory Storage to make sure they aren’t hanging out there in the Event Icon Tab. If you still are unable to locate them anywhere, report it to TinyCo.

I have already also reported this issue to them and will update with any feedback .

  1. My iPhone app is saying I have to update the game before I can play on it, but when I go to the App Store there is no update available. I saw someone comment on here that they had the same problem and y’all said they may need to update the game on a different device. A few days ago the game on my android tablet kept crashing at the load screen. It updated itself at some point and is working fine now. But my iPhone still won’t let me on even though both of my devices have the latest update of the game. Any ideas what’s going on there?

    • The iOS update is up now, I updated about 8:30pm EST. Wait a second or two or three, though, for OPEN to change to UPDATE in the App Store. There’s a little lag for some reason.

  2. My tuba drops are the worst ever. My drops are currently at a 1:15 ratio. I asked TinyCo about it, and this was there respons:

    “We checked the drop rates for tubas and they are working correctly for uncommon rarity. But we are taking a close look to make sure that players are where we want them to be progression wise”.

    Uuhh. Sorry, can you repeat that??, “make sure that players are where we want them to be progression wise” ???. so the randomizing of the drops based on a drop frequency/ratio from “always to epic scale” is not based on a static value per frequency but a dynamic one? So from a tinyco perspective, if we want to sell more clams, we tell the players the droprate is at a certain level, but in reality we change the drop rate to whatever we like, in order to get frustration levels higher so players are more tempted to buy and use clams.

    I do hope this isn’t true. It would take all fun out of the game for me.

    • I agree completely! I messaged them this morning after getting 1 tuba in 4 attempts stating that I had already read that the tubas are dropping more often. The response I received was “We increased the drop rates of the tubas. If you have any other issues, let me know!”. That statement about players being where they want us to be progressively is absurd, isn’t that why they release event content in stages? It’s leaving a bad taste in my mouth to know TinyCo set this up aware of our frustration because they labeled these as Uncommon when by their own admission they are still controlling the drop rate to be something other than uncommon. Someone in a decision making position is hindering this game in more ways than one, I feel bad for their employees who know better but can’t do a **** thing about it.

      • Just my thoughts… I think there is misinterpretation in their response going on. When they state they are seeing if players are progressing… all they are saying is the drops are preset when the event was planned (common, rare, etc) so that by the time you reach a point in the game, you’ll be done and able to move to the next phase. If they set it always, Players may get to the end of content too fast then complain they’re bored. So they test it at a specific rate… If that rate is not meeting their expectations (like uncommon) then they will either add more characters to add to drop or change it to a step above… like Common.

        It doesn’t mean they set it as Uncommon but secretly make it rare. I know for those it’s not dropping for it may seem that way, but it’s not. In our test games they still dropped the same uncommon rate as in past.

        It felt like forever as it took time to get the mask… then trigger hit on Cookie Gurl… then wait for drop. Now take out Mask drop and look at a 2hr drop… Uncommon would be around 35% or less. I think done back to back it would seem better drops.

        I still myself wish it was a common drop or always. My thoughts on it all.

Cue the pom-poms on what a great company TinyCo is and how it listens to the players when they make an adjustment on a task that had absolutely zero chance of being completed as it placed it into the game. Unless they use another source to get tubas, there is zero chance of completing the 20 tubas needed to get Cleveland Jr and advancing the questline in time for the Thursday 3 pm PT upgrade. But maybe the plan all along was to not let people advance through the questline since the new material is never ready for the timer that TinyCo sets in its own game. You have to laugh with them since the joke is on all of us who support the game by playing and purchasing clams.

  5. Wow. So they have improved the drop rate. What did it do, go from epic to extra rare?? Been waiting for this news so I had luchadors in reserve and I force closed my game, restarted my device and even reinstalled the game so everything would be cleared out of the memory and I could have a fighting chance and wasted six luchadors with no tubas dropping. Two tubas since starting the task on Sunday. Can’t advance through the main questline to upgrade to the new material tomorrow. Admittedly, I don’t know coding and programming, but did it really need to take almost a full six days since the upgrade to figure out that the task clearly wasn’t working as intended?? I added this to the list of 2015 TinyCo complete buffoonery. Every time I consider buying clams I reread the list. That quells the urge.

  6. So much for the improved tuba drop rate. Just cleared 4 gurl scouts, ZERO drops. I have been going at them non-stop since Friday and it is now mathematically impossible for me to get Cleveland Jr before phase three starts. As a player from day one, this will be the first time I fail to unlock an event character that is required to advance. Guess I’m not where TinyCo feels/wants me to be at this point in the game which IMHO is total BS!!

    • Same here and it’s been a few hours so they put it in effect. Had 8 luchadores sent them for tubas came back with nothing except anger and feeling betrayed by tinyco lol. I wouldn’t mind it at all if tinyco just said they set the drops wrong. But saying that it’s how they want it. And they want players to be at this part of the game is a huge slap in the face. And makes me not wanna play the game. I love the godfather and the mafia but there reply is putting a bad taste in my mouth.

        • Sent another 8 luchadors and finally obtained 1 tuba. Wow those uc drop rates r definitely working better lmao. So 1 out of 10 is uncommon….however I’m currently collecting plutonium for stewies blimp n get those 4 times more often. Tinyco is seriously dumb if they honestly think tubas r dropping correctly.

  8. I was wondering if they have actually changed the tuba drop rates. So far today I have cleared 4 Girl Scouts and received 4 tubas (after having only managed to get 2 tubas from countless attempts over the past few days.
    On the other hand, I am also only 1 golf ball from 7 trucks this morning too, which doesn’t sound like an uncommon drop to me. I am really unimpressed with how they have handled this issue so far.
    Happy they fixed the gold trucks though!!

First off TWO Luchadors to take out ONE girl scout (they must be some tough chicks!) that never drop tubas to begin with (6×’s and nothing) and 175 clams for a building that only drops tubas is BS! I have 20 something useless characters in storage collecting dust with quite a few that were clam purchases and hundreds of buildings and they can’t use one or two of them to help with getting Tubas?! I wrote them a nice letter explain this and They responded by saying that the rate of drops is working correctly and that they are making sure that players are WHERE WE WANT THEM TO BE progression wise. WTD?? From what I’m reading on here I’m guessing WHERE THEY WANT US TO BE is P’d off! I can’t understand why some stuff you need that is common they have 5 different ways of obtaining it but rare items only two! I love Cleveland Jr. And was looking forward to getting him but that’s looking like it isn’t gonna happen so I’ll just use my Luchadors on the casino.

    • You kind of pointed it out… they intend drops to work so Players progress at a certain pace in the game. Things are never meant to unlock right away. With all the reports, they will recheck to see where in that progression Players are with Jr. If it is not where they intended Players to be at this point in the game, they will make a change.

  11. For those dealing with the Tuba issue: I did receive word back from Tiny Co regarding this issue. They said that the Tuba drops are “functioning correctly”, but that they are evaluating whether or not changes need to be made to improve player progression.

    Considering we are less than 24 hours from the next stage and I (like many of you) have two Tubas due to the “correctly functioning” Ultra Rare drops, I’m hoping that those changes are made sooner rather than later!

  14. There are no gold trucks in either my husband’s or my game right now. Both of us have always seen at least one gold truck in our towns ever since they started having more than one per day. Are either people also seeing a lack of gold trucks now?

  15. I am definitely having the Tuba drop issue. I’ve easily cleared a dozen Gurl Scouts it’s only dropped two Tubas. It’s not like I’m not an avid player–I’m currently ranked at 1,127 on the Leaderboard. There’s no way I’m spending almost 300 clams to unlock Cleveland Jr. just because of a ridiculous drop issue.

  16. With the tubas, the issue isn’t that they are not “always” drops (they really should be though but that is another thing) it is they are currently flagged as “uncommon” but seem to be dropping for most of the people at “epic” levels – i.e. dozens of goes to get even one.
    We know what rate things marked as “uncommon” should be dropping as we have had to collect literally hundreds of the things to progress through the normal game, which is to say on average you should get an uncommon drop about 1 in 2.

    This happens time and time again with drops, it happened last week with the dog food, it happened multiple times in the star trek event –
    It is obvious to me there are one of 2 things happening –
    1) they have something somewhere which determines the drop rate of a particular rarity and they have something somewhere which displays to the player what the expected drop rate is AND THE TWO ARE NOT LINKED. This is just sloppy coding and is asking for trouble. If they were linked then we would never get this problem, as all things displayed as uncommon would drop at the same frequency

    2) Each individual item that is set to drop in the game has it’s drop frequency indivdually set (so one uncommon item might be 50% another might be 40%). This is just terrible design. They have a number of variables that they can control the rate of items into the game (drop freq, time to complete tasks, number of characters with the task, number of items needed to be collected), they do not need to have the drop rates variable outside of their 6 or so categories.

    Both of the above things are just open to human error – in case number 1, someone has attached the “uncommon” label but assigned the epic drop rate.
    In case number 2 somone has probably assigned it a drop rate of 5% instead of 50%

    • Like it says in here… it has been reported. The reason it is worded the way it is … it comes down to EXACTLY what you pointed out. They are being reported as NOT dropping Uncommon as they should be. Many feel it would be best to also set them as ALWAYS due to the time it takes to get the Luchadors.

      Either way, it’s been reported. Feel free to send them your thoughts on it too. 🙂

      • Yup, I have sent them a couple of reports earlier in the week, both on this and the unfair nature of the 24 hour task. Not had any response from them yet.

        It’s just really frustrating seeing the same problem cropping up time and time again. They eventually fix the individual issue then the same thing happens right away again. I guarantee you there will be at least one item in the next phase that will be problematic 😦

        • Just had a reply from TinyCo (only took 3 days) and they say that Tuba drops are working as intended but they might do something based on “where a majority of players are”.
          The golf balls are uncommon, supposedly the same as the tubas – I have all the golf balls, I have 2 tubas. I have tackled roughly half the amount of girl scouts as I have purple vans (I’ve been spending most of my normal guys on gold vans) so something is not right no matter what they say.

    • With as often there are drop issues with items, I, too, try to speculate on what is the coding reason.

      I agree that the “uncommon” visual tag is probably set separately than the internal definition of what that means mathematically or algorithmically. This fuzzy definition may allow them to not be strictly restricted to have a certain drop rate.

      Our expectation that drops are handled by a simple random number calculation and if it is within a certain percent, the item drops. Maybe there is a problem with the random number generator but I would think that would happen for everyone and be fixed by now (a year down the road).

      I’m starting to think that drops are not set by a percentage and instead TinyCo is trying to game the system and try to be smart and algorithmically adjust the drop by the game situation–how close we are to the end of a time period (end of lock, event, or week). That seems an overly complicated way to handle it and ripe for error in having the app analyze whether a drop should happen.

      Specifically, in the Tuba case, I wonder if drops are not happening when there is a partial casino quest under way. In the last week, I had a couple of brief periods when I was getting some drops and longer periods when I wasn’t. I’m not exactly sure what was the difference but maybe it was during one of the 3 starred quests or the optional one.

      In any case, lots of frustration and people being turned off the game.

How is it possible that I am 13 gold trucks away from finishing Cleveland’s skin which was supposed to take the entirety of the event (per TinyCo), yet I am still 18 tubas away from acquiring Cleveland Jr who is needed to complete the “Cookie Crumbles” questline which is needed to be completed in order to upgrade to the new content on Thursday? I don’t see this as an intended money grab by TinyCo; I see this as yet another abject failure of planning out a challenge/task. Again.

    I applaud TinyCo for fixing the gold trucks which needed to be fixed due to the failure on its own part. But it intended that challenge to take the entirety of the event. Maybe it could look into the challenge that it expected to take the entirety of one week that now appears to be undoable even before the event ends? I guess by making the Phase Two challenges unable to be completed, no one will even know that it doesn’t have the Phase Three content ready to deliver by its own in-game countdown. Again.

  19. I only have one tuba and have cleared at least 10 gurl scouts. I did in game message them but have heard nothing back. The golf balls are another slow drop for me as I only have 7. If Cleveland Jr. is needed to move to the next phase the drop rates should be a lot better. Also on an unrelated note, I can’t visit my wife’s town. It says I need to update but there isn’t one in App Store. I’m on iOS by the way. Am I missing something?

  20. I’m still plaing leisurely on my tablet when off work, but I see no real hope of achieving anything beyond Diabeto. Cleveland Jr. and the Boxing Promoter seem unreachable with the insane amounts of stuff required via convoluted ways. And I’ve already spent my final clams (before likely finally stopping playing) on Tyson. These events are getting so packed and grindsome, does anyone really enjoy that?

    I don’t want to let it ruin my enjoyment of the show…

    • Hard to say. I think you’ll get different answers from everyone you ask. Personally I’d probably use them for the optional raids to get more mob rep

  22. I have the reverse tuba problem. I’ve gotten 4 tubas on 6 tries but I’m averaging one golf ball for every 10 attempts. I got the rare items in two days. Still I need 16 tubas….I think there needs to be another way to earn luchadors, between the casino and girl scout tasksa, there just doesn’t seem to be enough time in the day to earn enough

  25. Still absolutely no tubas. Complete fail by Tiny Co. They either need to remove the requirement or give everybody (and I mean everybody) 300 clams to buy them.

  26. I keep waiting for TinyCo to adjust the Tuba drop rate.

    I’ve long given up on expecting smoothly running events, but I’ve always been able to comfort myself that they are usually fairly quick to fix and adjust problems. (E.g. Their poorly thought out idea of having a 1/day chance at a gold cookie truck basically made it realistically impossible to get the new Cleveland skin. They nicely adjusted it so gold cookie trucks are regulars now.)
    So now, I plead with them: make the Tuba drop rate Always and possibly lower the 20 Tuba requirement for Cleveland Jr. Right now, it’s listed as Uncommon, but I’ve gotten 1 Tuba in 7 attempts. Given that each attempt takes a minimum of 6 hrs (4 hrs drop for masks, 1+1 hrs for two Luchadors) AND simultaneously blocks other hires, the current situation basically means that i won’t get Jr until the end of the event… probably not at all, given that I’m obviously going to need to hire LOTS and LOTS of other goons which will all take progressively longer and longer to hire yet require more and more of them to do anything.

    • The tuba drop rate problem is greater than it just taking a long time to unlock the character.
      The character is also needed to progress the main questline which will block the unlocking of the next set of stuff in a couple of days.

  27. Bunny, I recognize that there are so many things not working properly with this event (AGAIN!!!) that TinyCo can barely keep up with all of the repairs and patches. However, I haven’t seen much about the “NOT-uncommon” drop rate for the tubas. I have seen comments that people have given up on the task altogether, but since it is required in the main questline to launch Thursday’s new content, has there been any discussion with TinyCo about visiting this and coming up with a fix? Or at least an additional non-premium way to get tubas? I keep attacking gurl scouts every two hours religiously and only have one tuba for two-and-a-half days work. At that rate, there is little chance of getting the 20 needed to get Cleveland Jr to complete Pt 7 of the Cookie Crumble questline so I can launch the new content when it arrives. I expect to complete the math books when I finish the last raid by tonight so all that is needed for me is 19 of the 20 tubas. Thanks in advance for whatever help you can get for the players.

  28. I have completed all of the tasks for this week except cookie crumbles. I’m stuck on the tuba drop problem. I have contacted tiny co. So far I have 2 tubas, they are eyeball epic! I am posting to encourage everyone to contact tiny co. Don’t wait! They are wonderful about solving issues and I’ve tried to be patient since the crashing seems to be a much more serious problem. I hope they’ll tackle this next. Thank you for this amazing forum – you guys are wonderful!!!

  29. Mike Tyson was advertised to drop gloves. Just got his last task unlocked st level 5 and he does not. I know they changed the gold trucks to make gloves easier, but this was false advertising. I requested a refund or for the task to be added. I understand and expected more ways to get gloves later on but not for an outright lie about how to get them for 260 clams. For a freemium player that was a big expense for me!

    • Actually he was advertised to Drop Luchador Masks… which he does, not Gloves (have all the screenshots from the game). It is the Slammer that the Gloves Drop. Sorry.

  30. Hi girls, I’ve messaged TinyCo but just wanted put it here as know they look at comments. Still 0 tubas for me despite taking down 10 Girl Scouts, going be impossible to move on in the event unless this is addressed as Cookie Crumbles quest has stalled due to need for Cleveland Jr.

    • Yeah its a data error. There was a problem loading your game. Please try again. (7):IncentVideo-b4333b9c20eed93837135266d324f727 and at the bottom it says GAME_REPORT and GAME_OK buttons. Is this happening to anyone else?

    • Try an uninstalling/reinstall. But clear your cache before you uninstall. Also make sure you have an account to back your game up…

  33. Bunny, I have several problems going on all at the same time. I keep crashing, mostly t the load screen. I have a Building that should be unlocked from Week #1, but is still locked. The most frustrating problem is I started The Slot Machine Obstacle several times. I have acquired the 3 Luchadors and sent them to unlock the Obstacle. My game has frozen, then crashed. When I restart, I am missing my 3 Luchadors, and the Slot Machine Obstacle has not been completed. I am now on my third attempt. I am woefully behind now. I have lost about 24 hours, and hundreds of mob rep points. I am now presented a timed 24 hour event and the lastest crash set me back so that I will not be able to accomplish the 24 hour event which promised a huge bump in mob rep points. Bunny, I am extremely frustrated. I have emailed Tiny Co. Tech support three times now with no response. By the time I do get a response, it will be too late to ever catch up. I have spent hundreds of clams on this event alone, and I think we should expect a more stable game experience. As a veteran of about 14 months of game play, I think this will be my last. I can’t think of anything that Tiny Co. could do that will allow me to catch up to where I was (my rank was about ~6000 and now I am back around ~18000). IS there any way you can help me get successfully past the slot machine obstacle? Dave

    • All I can really suggest is tips I personally use in my games to combat crashing and lagging issues with these High Memory Draining Games. See if they help. Things like storing items. I know that is hard, but I would rather have a smoother running game then a crowded town.

      • Hello Bunny! Thanks for the reply. I appreciate your positive attitude during this especially challenging event. I finally received an “Upgrade” from my Device Store and I am back gaming, though I have lost over 24 hours of game time and Leaderboard Standings. I have thrown away about 240 clams trying to recover, but I am out of options for the 24 hour special “Speed Feed Diabeto”. I am SO close, but because of the crashes I will miss out by about 1-2 hours, even after spending all those clams to try to make it up. In response to your question, I have one “Totally Legal Entrepreneur Conference Room” in my town, and another that is still locked in my grocery cart area. The reason is it frustrating is I need Luchador’s in the worst way to clear obstacles, since I “lost” 6 because of the program glitch. Here’s hoping that some of the other remaining issues such as the drop rate of tubas, etc. get fixed soon…. Thanks again for all you do. Dave

  37. Anyone know what the raid #3 of the casino asks for (I looked for the walk through and couldn’t find it). I’m on the second obstacle and need 4 Luchadors. I just want to know because there was that speed feed 1 day quest that popped up and I need to finish the casino as quickly as possible in order to not freak out.
    I feel like I’m asking way too many questions during this event. So thank you Bunny and Alissa because you pretty much have answered them all right away.

  38. Is anyone else having problems with the cookie count being off when buying buildings? I am trying to buy the jewelry store and have 320 cookies but am being told I need 105 more. I checked the other building and the game said I need over 250 more cookies to get that one which is also higher than it should be. I sent an inquiry to tinyco. Just wondering if anyone is getting this.

    • Make sure you are watching what you buy and waiting for the totals to update. When I saw that, it was because I just purchased a lot of items and my overall total had not yet updated in the game yet reflecting the deductions of what I got. But tapping on a new purchase did.

      Try to force close or visit Ollie/Neighbor to push the game to update the data and sync the totals.

  39. I have a question about the locked buildings. I unlocked all the buildings that were associated with All In Part 1, and built them all. I still have a Totally Legal Entrepreneur Conference Room in the store that is shown as locked, but doesn’t show the “Quest: All in Pt 1” under the title anymore. Is this an additional building that will unlock at some point, or should this have gone away when I unlocked and built all of those?

    • I see a locked Totally Legal… in my store also, after building one. I’m guessing it might unlock in a later week. When a certain quest line step was needed to unlock buildings, they were pretty clear about telling us exactly when. Maybe it’s like the locked character outfits- most likely given in order of which week will unlock them (after the new warehouse is engaged).

  40. Was enjoying this event quite a bit and was staying around 30k on the leader board.. not superb but for the limited time I’m around my phone during the day I felt I was doing alright. Now I’m just falling further down the list because I cannot progress past Mob Mentality Pt 8 due to not having any roaches to place. Severely disappointed now and have yet to hear back from TinyCo through the in game report. I’ve looked all over my town, have no items in my “event” inventory and also tried tapping on the gold box. All it tells me is to complete optional raids to earn more rep. About all I can do at this point since I’m technically stuck on week one… 😦 no bueno

    • Idk if it will help you. But after I beat I got the roaches it let me set them. But when I updated and switched to the casino they disappeared. I went on this website and it mentioned they might have got put in inventory oddly. I checked and there they were chilling in my inventory.

  41. Well not that anyone cares but I am officially saying goodbye to this game. It is with a heavy heart that I do so. I have spent many clams, time and a little real world treasure (money) in this game but I have been unable to play for over a week. I was in a position of strength in the top 1500 on the mobster leaderboard before the crash and I finally felt like it was going to be the event that I was going to thrive in. Things were looking up and the top 1000 was clearly attainable. Then it all went away in a heartbreaking never relenting ‘error to load’ screen. I just can’t stomach it anymore. I have tried all the workarounds and even downloaded the patch update then tried all the workarounds again, no dice. The disappointment is too great. This is an awesome community and I feel proud to have been a part of it however this will be my last post. Perhaps Fallout: Shelter be more stable. Thanks for all the great memories.

  43. Hopefully they will start paying out Tubas soon, they should either have another option to collect them, or lower the ammount needed due to the lost time. Also hopefully Tiny will follow through with the chasing cheaters, should not be to difficult to check some of the totals on the leaderboard are massive, they are either very rich, or some other reason.

I’ve just been looking in the I game FAQ, and in the Mobsters Event section, when I checked the ‘what are gold cookie trucks’ it now says, that you can have up to 3 in your town every 24hrs, and they will stay until you either clear them, or until you’ve unlocked Fight Promoter Cleveland. I also sent in a request asking if they could consider changing the drop rate to always as hardly any have dropped.

Mine is still silent even after tapping like a maniac on him and restarting and so on…oh and on the tubas drop rates, I’m the same as everyone else pretty much, 4/20 at the minute but have reported it to Tiny Co.

    • A few others reported him talking and had theirs talking before me. DaPimp says his sounded off, like static over the sounds. I am on Android and have the patch, if that makes a difference or helps. He took me like 50 taps just over n over n over tapping on him just to get him to say like 3 things. He is supposed to be voiced per TinyCo too, so if he is not… definitely let them know please. 😉

  49. Tubas’, please, TinyCo! They are now in the same category as the Pawtucket Brewery drops, NON-EXISTENT. Funny. The Pawtucket Tickets are classed as (“Rare”), yet I can’t blink without getting ANOTHER one. (as useless as they are). Then, there are the TAPS (Extra Rare). So (Epic) would be next, I think. I do believe the tuba is in its own class (Fat Chance). 🙂

    Also, I too didn’t get the tuba drop from the gurl scouts (definitely listed it as an option) and the drop rate of the golf balls is terrible…getting one every five attempts.
