Family Guy Addicts 
Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone else needed more land. I’ve unlocked all my land and I’ve been playing for over a year now and I’m in desperate need of new land. I have almost exclusively properties out since I nuked my entire town a few months ago and even after clearing all the space-wasting props I have very very few spaces left for properties. Its so bad that I am 100% sure I will not be able to place all the properties for this Magic Mike event. Do you guys have any idea when they’ll make new land available or something?

So it is 2am, and it is too hot to sleep, and there is nothing I can really do in the game as I am in a waiting pattern, so I am thinking of what I am going to do with the game when this event ends. I have way too much stuff, and I really do not need any more coins, so I no longer need everything to earn me money, so I think I will nuke my town, and then create special theme areas in my town. Right now I have a ton of Asian stuff, especially after buying a couple mystery boxes, so I am going to have a large Asian district, with Zen gardens, and a shopping district. I am also going to have an up-scale part of Quahog with the mansions, and the more fancy retail stores, and using the hedges to “wall off” the area with the Stewie and Brian statues that are blowing money as the gate keepers. (I just have to save some money to keep buying the cookie boxes until I get Brian, since I got Stewie) I also have a lot of warehouse type stuff, the brewery, matchstick factory, etc, so there is the industrial section. That and of course, the gambling and “bad” part of town, with the cops, DEA, etc. I will leave all the star trek and most of valentines day stuff in inventory, Since my favorite part of playing this game is designing the town, and I already have more stuff than land to put it on, I am going to take it easy the next couple of events, and only play if I really want something that is offered. I need a break! *chuckle*
Anyway, you did say this was the place to ramble, so that was my “too hot to sleep, but too tired to do anything requiring working brain cells” ramble! *chuckle*

Since I’m in a holding pattern while some of the longer tasks take place, I thought I would ask this question under this thread since it’s kind of random.
Looking at the FaceSpace counter on the bottom of the screen, mine currently reads 91/98. Which–obviously–means there are 7 taskable characters I have not yet acquired. So…is there a running list of all the characters so far? I’m been playing since the beginning, and somehow I’m afraid I might be missing someone in my count.
Rather than list all 91 I have acquired so far, I’ll go the opposite way and cover the 7…sort of.
Looking at FaceSpace and the Character section of the store, these people have not entered the game yet.

Add in Don Corleone–who I better get since I’m sitting in 391st place right now–and that makes 6.
Who am I missing? Or does the FaceSpace counter also count outfits? If it does, that’s the outfit for Zoot Suit Stewie. But I didn’t think it counted outfits in that count.
To add further confusion, counting up just the characters I’ve acquired in FaceSpace, I get 79. Which isn’t 91, obviously. Though at a quick glance, Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, and Santa are missing from FaceSpace, so others might be missing, too.
Okay, so some of that was tangential, and my main question could be covered in mud. But, still, it remains: is there a character list to compare who I’m missing?! It’s driving me crazy!

Any explanation why the last update removed the watch-videos-to-earn-clams feature? Haven’t received any from visiting Ollieland since then, either. FYI, been playing since the beginning, too. Like many, I’m growing increasingly frustrated as a freemium player. I play minimum 10x per day, racked up $7.5 mil, over 10k cookies for the event, & I’ve been stuck for days trying to get Mobwife Lois so I can advance. There’s not really enough time left to “earn” her costume & too many other time consuming required tasks for me to get to day 5. I’ll most likely cut way back on playing after this event because it just isn’t much fun anymore. To quote Peter, “There is absolutely zero chance…zero chance” that I’m going to spend actual money on one of these online games.

The TV was only in testing. Never a permanent item. It was only available to few players while they tested it out. So… it’s need is done and they will start to pull it to get the stats and see if it is stable enough for a Game Wide release. 😉
The rest of this… sounds like stuff more for a What the Deuce post don’t yah think? 😉

Thanks for the info. I guess I should feel special since apparently not everyone was getting the watch video feature. It worked Glitch-free for me, but I very rarely have any crashing or access issues like I’ve seen others write about here. I’m a new user to this site, too, so sorry I didn’t know about the “deuce” section. Thanks again.

Since this is an open thread I figured that this would be a good place to post this idea.
You two (Alissa & Bunny) Should talk to Tiny.Co about implementing some kind of system to where people who are friends on this game (as in they can visit each others cities) can gift Clams and or Coins to each other.
Many mobile games allow for friends to send “gifts” to each other,
Example: Candy Crush you can send friends extra tries, etc etc
The reason this would be great, is because the more friends a person has the more gifts they could in theory receive from their online virtual friends.
So why would this be a great thing?, who in their right minds would gift Clams seeing as how they are so expensive to purchase and getting free clams is so rare.
This is why.
If they implemented this type of system (which is very common in many many other games)
You two could post a “Friend Bunny & Friend Alissa” Link and the thousands of people who visit this site daily could then gift you the occasional Clam.
We get a chance to get a free clam every 20 hours, so conservatively a person can collect 5-7 free clams per week, “If they are vigilant in collecting them when the timer is up”
So if everyone who visited this site decided to donate “Of their own free will” 1 clam to each of you per week then you to Ladies who donate so much of your time and money to give us this wonderful guide to not only the game but to the events could in at least “In theory” collect hundreds of free clams per week, or even maybe 1k clams a week.
This of course would be totally up to all of your fans if they wanted to say thanks by donating the occasional clam, but I know I sure would and I have a feeling many hundreds of others would as well.
I know Tiny.Co supplies you two with some free clams from time to time but this is a way that your fans could show their appreciation for all you two have given to us.

We have, unfortunately… hackers ruined it for the entire Gaming System across the board. ALL games are starting to cut back or not even bother with it. (We saw other games pull it quickly.) You can thank those that had altered games and abused it to death. 😉

I think the next event should be “Quest for Land” Make it last for a week or so without really being difficult, and not having the potential to earn more characters or skins, just some easily codeable tasks to keep us occupied, get us more land, and give them time to test and retest the next event to make sure it is fairly glitch free before they send it out. I know I need some breathing room, and I am sure they do as well!

*** Yes… I just got Lois this morning. with 3 days, no way to get Bonnie in time. Just finished all of the Judge quests and working on getting Cleveland’s new skin. It’s been an expensive month just to get skins. Not doing this again, TinyCo.

If we dont get an extension for being locked out for 4 days and in my situation missing out on characters and skins for the first time EVER after spending lots of money. I will be livid. I will basically see it as theft since i paid to have a complete collection and it will have all been in vain. Not sure if i can keep playing if they dont make it right.

Will, finally, finish week 4 tomorrow as peter has a 24 hour task (annoyed sigh) This has been the worst event! I hope to not see another like it, ever! I won’t get Trishas outfit as the 8000 cookies I have will go to lois’ outfit and I am literally getting no cookies from any task. And MR is a joke! The helicopter gave 8 mr when buying cookie items gave way more!

I saw Jurassic World this weekend and enjoyed it. I even made it through the movie without checking my game, hehe. This week isn’t shaping up so great though — in addition o my game crashing on load, my bed frame broke last night, and the sewer backed up into my bathroom (so gross). Here’s hoping all 3 fixes come quickly — or I get to pet a velociraptor. Either way…

Wait wait wait… you get her for free when you get the costume? Lame, I bought her for the star trek event and didn’t even manage to get her borg costume. I also bought cleveland too, I hope they don’t give him for free with the costume too, if so I want my clams back lol

with 3 days left in this event, I plan on NOT unlocking Lois, Tricia, and even Bonnie’s skins! probably won’t even get Fight Promoter Cleveland with only 65 boxing gloves. These last stages of this event are just way too much. I caved the other day and purchased clams which was the ONLY time I bought any particularly for this event…major FAIL because of the fact I didn’t make it very far lmao which I was the whole reason for me getting the clams…This event will be the 2nd major event I’ve failed right at the very end! Star Trek was the first one. I think that kinda says something TinyCo., 👎👎👎👎👎 😤

Went out for my anniversary today and forgot to bring a phone charger. Pretty sure I am now toast in this event. Too bad, as I thought this might be the event that brought back my love for the game. Instead I am weighing quitting.
I really need to find time to finish my contest entry. I got burned out on it and haven’t been able to get back to it recently. Pretty much convinced myself I have no chance anyway, so tough to get the motivation to finish. (Not looking for sympathy BTW, it is the arc I go through with anything creative.)

Gotta say I think I’m done with this game. It’s a shame since I’ve been playing since day one too. Ive been unable to play since 3pm eat. Constantly crashes at the load screen. I’ve sent 3 emails and and gotten 3 auto responses. I’ve spent over 200 dollars on this game and think I deserve a modicum of respect. At the least an email response from a person not an auto reply. Very poor showing on the part of Tiny co. All good things must come to an end though.

Trying to enjoy the summer but I have been in an incredible amt of pain for some time now. Believe may have a slipped disc in my lower back. It is so incredibly painful!!! I normally LOVE to garden and still do, but hard to do the work that needs to be done. Like simple weeding.
Pray tommorrow will be a better day!

Sorry to hear that. I feel ur pain Savorycook. My mother suffers from constant chronic neck and back pain and had done for nearly 20 years, which the doctors can’t do nothing for but give her pain killers. They struggle to even diagnose it, they now think it my be linked to nerve damage. But it seems like a never ending cycle of hope then eventually getting let down
Hope it gets better or at least bearable. Take care of urself 🙂

Thanks Craig. I have been taking a lot of ibuprofen and I know that isn’t good but its the only thing helping to alleviate my pain a little. I don’t have health insurance cause my job keeps us just under the required hrs where we qualify.

I went to your link and did some speed reading and Holy Cow!!! You were not exaggerating! How long did that take you to do? It was VERY detailed! I guess what sucks is I can’t imagine the costs to TinyCo for acquiring the licensing rights to use all those characters. I don’t even think Disney would even give up the rights for all those characters for our game. Maybe they could incorporate your concept in some fashion without having to pay to use all the characters. I don’t know all the legalities involved, so I couldn’t say. Wow! You deserve a prize for all your work though. Hope you get lucky with the random generator!

Haha, I did warn you, yes? It took me… um… way longer than a simple contest should. I’m not even sure how costs for licensing WORKS with this game. They have random characters from 10 different movie franchises for Halloween, and I don’t know if they had to pay for them. But that might be different since they are already cartoons. Who knows? But thank you for the kind words. Would be nice to win something with all the time I put in, but I really just did it because I enjoyed building things like this. I better submit before the deadline!

I’m closing in on finishing all the quests, but I can’t say I didn’t have to use clams….I’m at 70k rep and have had to spend a few hundred on this event, if I don’t play for an hour or two, I drop 30-100 rankings…I just hope they reconsider this method next time

Wow it blows my mind how much peeps spend on this game. I have over time slowly digested what Alissa and Bunny do, but as for the rest rest of the diehard fans of this game, I still need to do a lot more chewing before I can digest it. Wow. Just Wow.

I agree. If I don’t play constantly, I keep dropping. I’ve also spent too much on clams to try and keep up. If TinyCo extends for even a week, I won’t have the funds to keep the struggle up. I really feel for those that keep getting glitched out, but please let’s just end this horror. If TC adds a week, they’ll add “extra” events and items that will make it harder for those already behind to try and catch up. I only have just the 24 hour mobster challenge to go and them I’m all done. I really need a break from the madness.

I want to wait how things work out (extension?).. But man, this event is the worst one I’ve played ( and I played the legendary Tapped out easter event from the Simpsons). I’m still stuck in the questline of week 4(!). I still haven’t unlocked Mobwife Lois, as it’s needed to continue to week 5 I guess… Still working on part 3 of defeating the judge. I play frequently, but it’s very obvious if you’re not spending clams, you’re missing out on a lot. I skipped playing 1 day because of a death in the family. But now It looks like I’m a week behind. I did get to update the mansion on time when week 4 started, so somewhere in week 4 it went wrong. The worst part is that I might miss detective Scrotes now. Going to do my best. I wish events were simple again, just collecting for prizes and not being obligated to check back as much as possible to earn stuff. Where I can decide what I want to buy (not in a chance prizebox) and where characters and skins were not ridiculously expensive. And if things were better prepared, there wouldn’t be so many crash issues and problems (like closing the app and finding out when you open it again, it didn’t remind the previous actions- so you end up having no progress).
I’m tired of writing to Tiny Co. I went here to see if others are feeling the same.
I don’t mind spending money on games, heck I spend a lot on previous events. But it really looks like Tiny Co is more interested in earning a lot of money then providing a quality event which is manageable and without bugs. Which is a shame, cause creativly the game has a lot of potential, but frustration and the feeling of being a slave instead of a player really make me think about quitting, eventhough I’m a big Family guy fan.

I know your pain, i play steadily but limited on check in during day due to being a working stiff, this one like the Star Trek, i was ahead of pace 1st week, on target 2nd then 3rd behind by day or 2, then 4th week way behind!! Again the tubas, the 91 showgirls, crashes, lack of drops etc, Gets very frustrating!! I have 5500 cookies but may get wk 5 by tues if lucky! The pyramid of goons for drops is killing me! I have had the queue filled at least 80% the time, missing a few empty hrs while sleeping! But really the gringing of goons for the moneybags and French fries(??btw- How is this theme related??).
I tried to win burden out Brian after hoarding clams and got a garbage gift, so no hope to finish game strong, will be close to getting kingpin prize, and will be lucky to stay in top 50k. As i keep loosing 500 rep a day relative to others around the 10 k prize mark.
My issue with these style games/events is that it is all about the $$ to get rep early then it’s easier to stay ahead as each main thread task gives same amt to everyone at that point. (I know they say the vs,use are random but likely not enough variation to change this effect). So those ahead finish tasks early, or have premiums to speed thru, Then the side tasks are avail fir thrm to build up faster, widening gaps to bavk of pack.
Not sure how many players as my list only shows to 50k. And i bounce between 38 and 48k rank!

The major problem with this event is the fact players are limited in what they can do because of the goon/check system. In other events we could bounce around doing any quest line with whatever character was free at the moment, but in this one everything is all about hiring goons and waiting. This limits players greatly on what we can accomplish since its all about distributing those goons through one queue system. There’s only 24 hours in a day, so there’s no way to come close to finishing this event.
I’m current still working on Stage 3 of All Rise, which I’ve been doing for the last 2 days because the count for Fires and Money Bags are way to high. I don’t expect to get Lois’s skin until late tonight. Once I do I’m ignoring Week 5, since there’s no time to successfully unlock Bonnie, Tricia or Scrotus without an extension. All I plan to do is work on Promoter Cleveland skin hoping that Cleveland will also become unlocked like Consuela.

Yeah this is by far the worst update ever ever played on any these games is the first time I have had a problem with a game from this company is all they care about is money at least on tapped out you don’t have to be a premium player to get on the bonus stuff just to finish this event and get everything you had to spend about t$300 to get everything

Not sure if you’ll be able to answer this but I figured ‘what the heck’. Do you know if we’ll have to claim our leaderboard prizes (not the personal ones, the community ones) before the event ends or will they just be automatically added to our inventories. It’s almost certain that I’ll be at work when the event ends (barring any possible extensions of course) and I don’t want to lose it. Also, do you know if we get just the one prize (for example, zoot suit Stewie) or do we get all prizes up to our current level?

2 days locked out…can’t get by the loading screen…tells me assert error….was ranked around 3000 with 29000 cookies…glad I wasted 100 bucks to be locked out on final week when it matters most…I just want my money back so I can delete this app…to bad too…been playing since day 1

If it’s any consolation, I can’t get in either. I was moving down but just about staying near the 3,200 mark. Also, I bought the Vineyard a few hours before I couldn’t get in, which now seems like a waste of clams. I’m going to miss the raid reward, the Bonnie skin, and the Detective Scrotes character. I think I now have no chance of getting the bronze house skin I have been working to get, and I think that I will get Don Corleone if I am lucky.

Same boat here around 2300 rep..Sick to my stomach all the money and time ive spent are real…Tiny Garbage could care less. Every event is a crash fest with no reply from Tiny Co. Could have bought two Xbox Box Ones instead of clams over the past year.

I am not liking this event at all right now… I finally got pushed out of the zoot suit Stewie costume bracket for what feels like a punishment for the audacity of being affected by the game crash bug and horrible drop rate luck, and it made me step back from the whole thing to figure out how ‘fair’ the event really is thus far. It honestly feels like it’s more rewarding to a premium player than a freemium, what with only a certain amount of each prize on the ladder. This game all up to this point has been friendly competition, not actual bloodsport like it became with the introduction of the leadership board ladder. I really hope they do something to remedy this before the event is over, because as of now I’m kind of doubting I’ll see the final week thanks to my horrid luck.

I have to agree with you it seems to get stuff on here they want you to spend like $200 to $300 dollars for every event they have then you contact them about. A problem with the game and it takes forever for them to get back to you and when they do nothing ever gets solved I told them my hats weren’t collecting they tried to tell me it was a glitch when in know for a fact. That it wasn’t

Saw Ted 2 this week. Not as good as Ted, but, for a Seth fan, a heck of a lot better than the reviews. Lots of little extras for the avid Family Guy fan, both the show and this game. Enjoy!!

So I used to be in a band and was really good and had a lot of fun. Ended up recording 2 CDs and toured around here in the Midwest. Life caught up with me and now I’m married with 2 little ones and there is no way I can dedicate that much time that I used to back then. I’m getting bit by the music bug again and am looking at getting something going by myself using Ableton. It’s pricey, around 800 once I get the hardware and software. I just hope I can find the time to put forth in learning it all and making music I like just by myself this time. Wish me luck.

Very cool Jeff! I wish you luck creating more music. Not surprised you are craving some musical stimulation again. What I’ve learned is that sometimes we get busy or we are fulfilled by other things for years (sometimes a decade) but eventually we miss that feeling we only got from our creative side and need to do it again which benefits those around us because we are more fulfilled and typically we’re better for them as a result. Music feeds my soul and my taste in genres is all over the place, I cannot imagine a life without it even though I’ve never created any. My 5 year old son has the voice. No lessons or anything but he just sings and is right on tune. I’m super impressed. I’m the same way with music. No formal lessons on note reading, theory, or anything. I just pick up and play. That makes it tough as I transition into the electronic world where it helps to know that stuff but I’m lucky that I have a great ear for it.

Anyone else get the error and can’t load their game. Iam on the 4th round of beating Dons goons now my game says attempting to load a streak requirement that is no longer config? JUST GREAT TINY CO. Can’t send them a message can’t log in.

Since the last update, if I visit a friend who stopped playing during the Halloween event, the game consistently crashes.

Your friend needs to update to the most recent version, I think. There’s apparently a problem when visitor and visitee are on two different versions.

I never had a problem till the latest update. I shouldn’t be punished (crash) because his system isn’t updated; that’s not how an application should work.

Just 613 more mob rep for Consuela, Im mostly done with this event. I haven’t gotten to week 5 content or even gotten Louis but I’m happy to get Consuela 😀

Anyone in the UK, on BBC2 tonight at 21:45(I think), the start of the new Family Guy series is airing, tonight is the Simpsons crossover episode. This will be the last series on the BBC, it has moved to BBC2 ahead of BBC3 closing. ITV2 have bought the rights to all future Seth McFarlane shows, including American Dad.

Still at the tail end of week 4. I did catch a slight break — only have to get 16 armored trucks rather then 16 cookie couriers (thanks Tinyco!). I should have Mob Wife Lois by tonight and should be ready for week 5 by sometime on Monday. I’ll probably just focus on getting as many cookies and mob points as I can unless I hear an extension is coming.
