Hello There Tribblemakers!
TinyCo dropped a Mini Event into our game and now we have lil Hybrid Babies running loose in our Quahogs. Half Stewie/Half Brian and completely adorable. You know you want one to keep.
With the New Hybrid Babies Event, of course a New Questline is going to be involved too. Especially for the New Characters/Costumes.
Let’s take a closer look at Chip Griffin’s Questline and all that you’ll encounter along the way….

This MIGHT be the first part… but I can’t be 100%. My SS got all out of order when my phone flipped out on me.
Pt 1
Chip: Guess who’s back?!
Peter: Who?! Who?! Who?! Tell me! Tell me! Tell me!
Chip: Me… I was referring to me, Peter.
Peter: Oh. Hi, Chip.
(After the tasks)
Chip: …And then I saw Mark Cuban high-five a thousand people in a row.
Peter: Wow, what a story. That guy loves high-fives.
Pt 2
Lois: Hey there, little man. Why don’t we take you to the mall and get you some new clothes?
Chip: Can we also get a Wetzel’s Pretzel?
Lois: Obviously. The only guys who don’t get a Wetzel’s Pretzel are guys with small puds.
(After the Tasks)
Chip: I just love shopping! I like to walk through the arms of coats underneath the rack and pretend I’m at a carwash!

Okay, unlocked Chip and Finn, but wanted to ask if I’ll be able to finish any quests related to them after the event ends? Reason I’m asking is Chip needs the hospital and I’m probably not going to get that before the event ends.

It all depends on what is in the Questlines. Usually it is only the Premium Characters that carry on after. Sometimes others may.

Red balloons never have gotten fixed. I wont be able to finish quest and oh well guess it was for only players who spend money on clams.

Did anyone else get the Ferris wheel for tennis balls? I bought this morning, but when I placed it, it was the billboard, but when I tapped on that it said the name of the Ferris wheel. I contacted tinyco, and when I logged in now, it was gone. They haven’t responded yet. Not sure if I got tennis balls back, but I don’t think I did. Anyway, it was called Automatic Beer Blaster.

As you can see, it was NOT supposed to go live. The images and information were not accurate to what was actually in my game. The Billboard does cost 60 Tennis Balls.

The automatic beer blaster is a deco selling for coins. I have one and definitely didn’t pay tennis balls for it. It looks kind of like an automatic ball pitcher in function, nothing like a billboard or Ferris wheel.
I do remember a Ferris wheel in the store with beer in the name, but it didn’t show up as a Ferris wheel when I looked at it in the game without buying it. Can’t remember any more details, it was one of the early glitches that was removed.

I’m freemium on my phone and premium on my ipad and I actually unlocked chip on my phone first (without buying the house). The drop rates seem to be different for everyone.

I finished all the items to get Chip days ago, but despite sending both Quagmire and Jerome on the 8hr tasks nonstop 3times times a day I am still only at 2/4 balloons. I am lucky to get one every 3 days or so.
2 characters times 3 times a day times 3 days and maybe I get one balloon. 1 in 18 (6%) Sounds more like Epic than rare to me!

About the same as my game. Making matters worse is both those characters and Chip are required to unlock next character.

Exactly the same for me. I just got the 3rd balloon for Chip after 2 days waiting, so hoping the last one will drop soon! Drop rates for Finn items seem almost non-existent so far.

I have not gotten any balloons. Been sending quagmire and Jerome on the task at least 2x per day.

Yeah, I feel bad because I got my balloons fairly easy but my husband is still at one. No matter how hard he tries it’s not budging!

Red Balloons are not dropping for me either. I have just sent Quag and Jerome out on another set of quests that will take 8 more hours to complete and they will not come back with the darn balloons. I have almost given up on this event, and it is short.

Yeah I’ve got 1/4 Balloons and have already earned everything else to unlock Chip. Seems like, with every new character, there’s always one item that has a very low observed drop rate. Conveniently, Chip Griffin’s House also drops that same item, but costs a bunch of Clams… Hmmm…

I just bought Chip’s house because it is just so darned cute. I kept being drawn to it in the shop even though I never buy clams so have to earn them. Since I’ve been collecting so many free clams from the clam TV, I splurged. It always drops a red balloon every 8 hours (plus one on build), which is a bonus since I only had 1 out of the 4 needed so far for Chip. But that tiny house is just plain adorable all on its own. Why I feel that way is a mystery, since I can see tiny houses any time by just zooming out. Chip is cute himself only if you turn the sound off.

Still have not seen one of those TVs that give videos to watch for clams… the boyfriend gets 6+ a day….. why is this?
This red balloon drop is sad. 2/4. If I had 27 more clams, I’d just spend them since thats all that I need for Chip…

Hmm…I got the TV for a couple weeks, now it’s gone again… So all I get is 1 clam a day from Olliland. Wonder why I don’t have opportunity to earn clams too?? (On android, are you?)

I’m on iPhone and clam TV is working fine. I get several clams a day for watching zippy commercials for games and stuff. The game update in the middle of the mobster event was incompatible with the clam TV, but the next update after the event brought it back. So maybe there is some incompatibility between your specific operating system and the latest game update. Definitely tell them about it.

Any body else log in and all there tennis balls go missing? I had about 50 & I didn’t not buy anything, not feeling the abortion steps or the balloons.
I emailed them but just wanted to know if anybody else got their issue fixed.

Did not buy billboard bought it’s a boy balloons however those missing too! All these glitches in the last 3 events is making me not want to play anymore and I shell out money. 3rd time I’ve lost items I’ve previously spent time getting!

All the items you bought weren’t meant to be in the game til that night. So they weren’t ready for the public and incomplete. If you bought something and can’t find it in town or inventory. .. message them from your game.

Is it me or is the balloon drop rate more like epic than rare? I started the event immediately and I have exactly zilch number of balloons 😦

Don’t worry just yet. Keep sending Quagmire and Jerome on their balloon tasks. I didn’t get any for the first four to six times I sent them on these tasks before getting four in a row.
