Just bouncing by really quick. As this interesting PeterPalooza Music Festival is progressing, I am curious how each of you are doing through it all. I see a lot of different comments and struggles going on, so I want to see just how many of you are in the same spots or scenarios in the Event.

Is everyone else being held up on Carl with glowsticks? I have had all of Carl’s items two days now but still 1500 glow Sticks short. Makes me wish I’d never have gotten the hostel guy because he wasn’t helpful in getting Alice at all, I had collected enough from Peter by the time he was available to do the task for the boots….. Should have saved those 4000 glowsticks as I don’t seem to be able to collect more than 300 per day maximum. With 1500 to go for Carl I’m looking at at least 5 more days before he can be unlocked. Always something holding you back in this game, after buying cookie machines and other event currency items with clams only to have thousands of useless event currency at the end 9f previous events, I decided not to spend the 700 clams on glowsticks production statues, and now I need them! Arghh! Wish they could just be consistent!

I love that Tinyco listened and added two extra options to get the Leopard boots. I so far behind and i wonder if I will be able to do the main questline before the event ends. What do you think Bunny?

It is EXTRA hard for new players like myself… I just unlocked Connie, trying to do everything at once is hardest… I would loooooove to see them slip Spider-Man in the game eventually. Id pay 1000 clams for him! lol
I am sad though to visit other towns and see stuff I missed never even knowing about the game! I would sure like to have american dad characters! They should consider replaying events, with new items to make it worthwhile for others who have already played them. Lots of buildings I want too… Ohhh and Star Trek! They have to redo that! I dont know HOW I could have possibly not known about the game by that point!

Can’t wait to see the results. It is very strange, that I’m still trying to get the required boots for Alice Cooper, so that I can move on to the next phase. (I mean, will there be another stage on thursday? Ähem, lol?! 🙂 ) I’m still at 6 boots and Peter is constantly on the hunt. But the drop rate is very, very strange. I’m just glad, that (after the last event with nearly the same situation) I decided to no longer spend real money on this game. It is much more relaxed, when you do not expect anything from the game.

Strange drop rates, a “special clam offer here and there” and not even enough space to build a nice town. I liked this game in the beginning, but Tiny got mad…. 🙂 Have a nice day y’all.

Thank you for the poll. Hopefully the answers will open the eyes of Tiny Co. It is very dissapointing that such a creative game of a fun franchise is making so many poor descissions. I’m a day one player and a lot of times the game delivers frustration and stress. I would really like to know how we will be able to unlock greased up guy. I really like him, but I’m affraid if I spend too many glowsticks, I will not be able to afford him. Last event I missed out on detective Scrotes, as I was slowed down and didn’t get to the next phase in time. And yes, I played multiple times a day. You would imagine Tiny Co would learn from their misstakes, seeing all the complaints on the previous event on Facebook and game related sites. But I keep seeing them making the same misstakes over and over again. I’m a big Family guy fan, but I already stopped purchasing clams to spend as I think Tiny Co is not worth it and in my opinion only cares about making a lot of money.

I have been checking in every four hours (that I’m awake) since the event started, and I still don’t have Alice. I’ve only had 5 boots drop so far. It is infuriating! I bought Snoop, but like most premium event characters he’s useless in getting the rare drops needed. I’m about to go total freemium on this game or drop it altogether if something doesn’t change. At least the events on TSTO give you a fair chance to win prizes if you check in regularly. Family Guy feels like a giant cash grab sometimes.

Just caught Greased Up Deaf Guy again after completing his quest and he gave me a ticket. Never got a lighter from him yet.

I really love when you do the polls over here. Great to see where everyone is at and how the game is treating them. Love this site and don’t know how you do it giving your free time and money to help people like this and still have to listen to complaints sometimes directed right at you. All I can say is I appreciate that you are continuing as I do use this site quite often for the fantastic up to date info and visit it probably daily just to view comments.

Just an FYI, but I’ve gotten redirected to the App Store several times while trying to respond to this post. Not sure if it’s something with the Google form (which would be weird) or a bad advertisement.
The only thing you didn’t ask about was records. I got enough to unlock Carl (was that 8? I already forget.) plus two more for DJ Herbert since I redeemed Carl. Pretty slow going, plus the 15 tickets DJ needs which can only (at least reliably) be gotten by the same Rangers that help you get the records. I haven’t been following the comments this event, but I think the 4-5 encores I was able to do last phase because I used clams to purchase boots is the only reason I’m in half-decent shape now as far as those tickets are concerned.

I had to skip the Alice boots question since I eventually had to use clams to unlock him, but I will say I never got a boot to drop at any time when I had Peter do that task.

sorry it does take a great while seems like, BUT i finally unlocked Alice Cooper this morning after getting the final pair of boots from Rockstar Peter! to help ya out jus a lil bit as well, i haven’t saved up enough glowsticks to build the hostel that Belgard comes with so obviously i had ONLY Rockstar Peter to drop those boots! yes the drop rate is ridiculous, but that’s why you gotta keep working at it. It all honesty it’s been maybe a week and a half for me to unlock Alice Cooper. hope this makes ya feel any better lol!! 😂

Let’s see … I have all the premium characters, I have all the regular characters except for dj Herbert (I almost got him). I caught all 15 greased up deaf guys. My only issue has been that I haven’t done an encore concert in a while because the game locks me out for the me phrase.
Ps. You make all us addicts feel at ease with these impromptu questions about our day and how we are doing with the game. 👍🏻

Poll update, Belgard has 0 shirts, but all other tasks completed, but last 3 drops from Peter gave the boots, so Alice had a show! But blocked from encore untill Carl is unlocked! Good thing ive stockpiled picnic baskets. For the Damn Honey Bears, 3 hrs per attempts. Gonna be a few days grinding on them plus the headphones!! Be surprised if I ever get an encore in this event!

I’m glad it’s not. The stage was so big that collecting fans was difficult if I forgot to rag doll him off my patch or roads.

I want to thank you guys for all.the incredible work and happiness you guys share. Its a shame how negative the internet especially web comments and you girls really create a positive unique excellent place here.
Just a thought for the Alice’s boots question. I think it may ne neat if you added an answer saying you got fed up of the drop rate and spend clams just to move the event forward.
Thats what I had to do otherwise I may still be stuck there.

Hi ladies, I’m sure you know this by now but I got GUDG this morning for the 15th time. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but… No GUDG! 😩 Just a glowsticks payout (which is nothing to be sniffed at!) but what a disappointment 😦 I’m sure he’ll be along soon to keep though.

Still trying to get the last shoe for Alice, most certainly not gonna drop 20 clams for that, even though I’ve collected more than enough already. (600+ clams, but well, freemium player.. :P)
I decided to not ever put any more effort into the FG-events than I think is worth and even slept till 11:15 today, as it’s continuing to feel like an enormous drain. The start was good, week 2 was quite doable too but these boots, oh these boots! I used to like Alice’s song ‘Poison’, now I think his shoes are poison to my game, lol.
I’ll see how far I get with the event this time, probably won’t unlock Weird Al later on, which is quite a shame, I LOOOOVE his parodies. XD They’re so fun, usually so much better than the original and he inspires me to do the same to songs. XD
When I finally get the last shoe, I’ll have to do the concert and then check back on this site to see who I’ll be needing next. As getting way behind has one advantage: I can easily find the information I need, I don’t have to wait. Lol. Keep up the good work ladies. 😀

I finally caught Greased Up Deaf Guy all 15 times. The quest line went away and nothing popped up in its place. I guess there is more work to be done before we’re allowed to actually catch him!

Bunny (and Alissa) don’t know where to put this since you don’t have a dedicated “Praise the Addicts” column 🙂 You are FREAKING AMAZING!!! I cannot believe your dedication and your patience with all these people who don’t read your post and then ask the same question over and over and over again. I mean, for pete(r)’s sake you have to scroll through all the comments just to type one!! People need to get their heads out of their you know where and just be stoked that you guys put in the time, effort, and clams to save us time, frustration, and money. Please don’t get discouraged by the meanies, there are a lot of us out here who love you guys–maybe we all need to write in so our voice is louder. 😉

Awwww well thank you very much. It is very appreciated. We set out to be a helpful place. It is what we do. Funny part is other other site we have had a lot longer and more readers… same thing. Many think it is easier to just find nearest post and comment. But the hard part is if we are currently asleep, busy, or not moderating… they still have to wait for the answer.
Outside of that, at times… we are updating a post and comments flood in while we are updating it. So we also notate to them to look up to see new details. 😉

I just read your comment, and I obviously completely agree with you on the part of that the Addicts are “Freaking Amazing”!! And they should be getting praise from all the rest of us & Certainly don’t deserve some of the comments people post etc.!
I think you are really doing something wonderful Bunny & Alissa.
But I do want to state that for some, like me, living in a country that doesn’t have English as a mother language (do I say that right? lol), it sometimes isn’t clear what is being meant exactly, certainly not in the comments other people make..
What brings me to another issue..!
On my Android Tablet I first see the comments & after that the posting field..
But on my Android Smartphone I first see the posting field & after that the comments! Just wanted to mention that.
And.. I don’t really like to say this, but some people have eye-problems/operations/hospital issues, and find some great comfort in playing this game, but reading all those comments.. it’s just to hard at those times. Unfortunately I am speaking out of experience.
Please no comments back at that, just wanted to explain that it isn’t always what it seems..

so wait have they released separate counters yet for the skull guitar picks and concert tickets or am i missing an update or something??… i’ve been going jus by the requirment counters of those from the Merch Kiosk craftables to see how much i’ve collected so far, but problem wit that is i have crafted every single prize so far because i’m right at the end of finishing up Phase3 stuff. 😊

The drops for Herbert are OK, the books are dropping quite often, just a little concerned about the number required. Especially as he is needed for the questline. Only need to capture the Greased Up Deaf Guy once more, I hope we get him them. Given how much he has appeared, I am pretty sure he would be freemium if he is available (and given his presence, he surely will be). If he isn’t unlocked then, I’m guessing he will be towards the end of the event, given that the story is all about capturing him.

I got the last GUDG today, it finished the quest. That was all, nothing else triggered, not appeared anywhere in the game. Presumably, the questline will pick up again at some point in the future.

I caught him for the 15th time today to complete the quest, no reward, no follow up, unfinished quest line at the moment unfortunately. On a side note I have all materials for Carl except the glow sticks but unlike every other character Carl’s price in clams doesn’t go down as you collect materials, super annoying as I can’t get DJ Herbert’s materials until I can do concerts. This week was badly implemented imho.

The skins in the kiosk area didn’t change when you got materials either, I’m guessing the timers were meant to add pressure, people would spend the clams regardless of how many materials they had. I’m hoping that GUDG will be unlocked soon, I’m guessing they will add a new part in an upcoming week.
