The Dancers have sweated off all their makeup, the Glowsticks are losing their lustrous glow, the T-Shirts are starting to go on sale, and the garbage piles on the ground are piling up high. PeterPalooza is wrapping up.
With all the really cool items that were offered to us throughout this Event, I wanted to quickly run them all down. Remember to pick up what you can BEFORE the Event Ends, as it all will go.

QUESTLINES
As far as Questlines are concerned, TinyCo stated those that were linked and directly triggered by unlocking a Character (usually showed up right after you unlocked them, short 4-5 parts) will continue on AFTER the Event.
All other Main & Side Questlines will End with the Event.
MATERIALS
Just like previous Events… use it or lose it. ALL Materials linked to the Event are Event Only Currency, so when the Event goes… ALL Materials will go with it. So spend your Glowsticks, Picks, Lighters, etc. They will be gone when it closes.

Got almost all the main characters except Snoop and tricia. Was 1 shirt away from getting Belgard. Leaderboard was a complete joke. As of Monday I was in 3rd place, since then, 23 gold robots smashed and only got 3 viral hits. Spent most of my clams speeding up tasks for viral hits, that was also a waste, nothing but coins. Oh well, on to the next Clam-tastic, glitch riddled, as intended event.

I got every premium and freemium character, got all skins, every item I could kinus premium, got first place in the leaderboard at 97 web things and a whooole ton of dancing fans! I was going to do a thing where all the characters do something to post here with a link, but I guess I’ll have to wait on that lol

So mad….. Only needed a few grease tubs to unlock GUDG and was gonna spend the 10 clams or so to unlock him but couldn’t sign back in until right after the event ended!!!! Lost out on a character by 5 grease tubs/10 clams….. Feels like someone just robbed me 😥

That’s too bad. It’s mainly why I try to tell people don’t wait til last minute. Can never count on services being stable. I know my internet can drop in n out at home anytime. So I try to find a solid spot to work on til I am done.

So I managed to get every freemium character in the event and was in first place on this leaderboard with 79 VH versus 58 for 2nd place. So bad trip stepwise skin is a bonus. All in all a pretty decent event. Didn’t even get locked out once which certainly helps. Lol Wasn’t sure if i would get GUDG and the skinny Philipino but managed to complete the requirements with a little over a day to spare. I see we have jumped right into another event with the end of Peterpaloosa too.

Ended up doing pretty well this event. Bought Weird Al, got all the free characters except for Belegsrd (accidently sent Rick on a 10 hour task instead of attack and screwed my timing up royally.) Unlocked GUDG with hours to spare. After bombing out on the previous leader boards I was in first place with half an hour to go, so I have a good chance of getting Stewie! Fingers crossed.

Wow great ending for me….. I unlocked GUDG yesterday… after going into the final week with just 5 grease tubs and 0 of any of his other items
Add to that I’m pretty sure I got 1st on my leaderboard without really trying (I spent about 4 clams speeding tasks up) I was on 60, 2nd was on 41 n 3rd was on 40 so fingers crossed nothing crazy happened in the last minutes
But the biggest surprise was after giving up on ricardo days ago, I realised I could beat mecha Astley 2 more times in the final day (as i let him cool down to level 1 after getting all i needed from sideshows) and then i could do an encore concert
So I ended up completing 1 of the bonus quests and received 5 clams + the encore gave me the final 10LPs and 1 lighter!
Well I’m definitely ready 4 a nice rest without breaking my sleep to check a silly little game lol…… I know, I know it’s stupid, but I am an addict after all 😉

Finished freemium and got everything except the fountain from the kiosk. I was able to all the characters. I also came in second on both leader boards.
With all that said this was one of my least favorite event, I felt like I player non-stop for the last month. I’m so glad it’s finally over. I need a nap!!!

Very fun.
Didn’t spend any clams for the last weeks stuff other than for Wierd Al and managed to get all quests done but one loud deaf guy pt 4. Peter just started setting traps to finish that one.
Finished first on my leaderboard at 112. Next closest had 63.
In the beginning it seemed near impossible, but i stuck to my strategy and focused on getting the characters and viral hits then quests.
Whew. Would love a low key weekend, but i know something new will be out tomorrow.

Question…i bought the hostel, but havent unlocked the character. Now the event is over and it wont let me store the building because Belgaard isnt unlocked BUT it doesnt look like i can get the needed items to unlock him now. I really dont want to spend 200 clams to unlock a character i dont care about..any suggestions or am i just stuck?

I would suggest contacting TinyCo on that one if some basics won’t work. Normally for me, a restart of my device clears that issue out. Let me know if that helps. If not, see if the next Update will clear it out.

Well, overall, not too bad of an event. I got everything I wanted, Weird Al (250 clams) and ALL the freemium stuff except for three decorations. I did have to spend 48 clams for GUDG for 6 greasy underwear, but well worth it. I think I was lucky on my leaderboard competition, I was number 1 with only 49 viral hits and spent only 36 clams to speed up 4 quests to get the extra viral hit option for only 8 clams just to give me a little cushion from the number 2 & 3 person.
I must say though, this one took ALOT of time and some serious strategy. Good event, but good grief do I have a lot of stuff. Time to inventory some crap and dig out my last years Halloween stuff. Woo hoo!

I got GUDG with maybe an hour to spare (last pot of grease the night before, 4 people trying to get the last pair of pants), got Ricardo the day before. Bought Weird Al with saved clams (big help) and have been top of my leaderboard since day one (I think it ended at something like me 43, 2nd place 26, 3rd 17,12, 2, 2, 1,1 and the rest 0’s. I got an easy run).

Thought there wasn’t anything more worthwhile to buy with my nearly 15,000 glowsticks and nearly infinite but unknown number of guitar picks. But about ten minutes before end of event, I noticed a nearly infinite number of stage pyrotechnics things could be bought. Hey, I liked those! Pretty pretty sparklies! Oooh! So I got down to about 6000 glowsticks before my nearly infinite stash of picks was depleted, and sparks are now flying all over town (briefly, have to keep tapping them).

Well I didn’t unlock Deaf Guy and Ricardo, I needed just 2500 Glowsticks for the Filipino Guy and well, for Greasy Guy I missed almost 5 of everything, candies, grease, underwear.
It felt like Star Trek, but Rick Astley saved the event for me, I really like the guy and was the reason why I come back to play this game.
I was so mad at the Star Trek event and I don’t even like Star Trek lol
Any idea what’s next? District 11 and Halloween? starting the first of October?

The gold robots and I did not get along – nary a viral hit, many a coin. The leaderboard I am on I am currently in third, but the top two spots are so far beyond me I had no chance as of a few days ago. No Stewie skin for me, but I got GUDG, so that’s guud. 😉

Wow, so glad that I bought Weird Al. I mean, I’m a huge an of his, so I needed to anyway, but he was a huge boon to beating up mecha astley and helping me get enough glowsticks for Ricardo, and enough mics to get the stuff for greased up deaf guy (Alice Cooper got the last pair of greasy underwear a couple hours ago…a sentence I never expected to write). A lot of frustrations, but overall a fun event.
And I’m on track to get 2nd place in my leaderboard and get bad trip stewie! Woo!

I won’t unlock Ricardo. I didn’t focus on him as I don’t know who he is and he’s expensive.

Well I now have an army of Dancing Fans, got 180 of them in storage, will probably use a bunch of event items with the KISS stage from the Christmas event to set up a concert type area over the weekend, unless we end up having a mini weekend event of some type. 🙂

I’m so done with this event. Was still 11 tubs short of unlocking GUDG, so I pulled the insta-unlock trigger for 20-odd clams.
Ricardo was trickier because I didn’t collect all the stars/lighters/LPs possible from the encore concert, meaning I was still 5 LPs and a maddening 1 Lighter short of unlocking Ricardo. Cost me a lot of clams (but well short of the 600 required in the Merch Mart) to rush Peter’s eight-hour task for LPs multiple times, and rush multiple sideshows to earn that one additional lighter.
At least I’ll get Bad Trip Stewie this time. Was a sore point of the last leaderboards that Starlight Express Peter only went to the first-placed player when I came a really close second.
I’d say between Alice, GUDG and Ricardo this event cost me about 350 clams. Pricey.

I wish there was a way to trade items or gift them to other players, that way if you have a ton of one item and another player needs it you can send them your extras instead of them going to waste.

I’m very close to #2 on the Leaderboard being only 5 behind. I have Alice finishing a task to drop a Viral TV and will have 6 Engineers stockpiled for a last second chance to get Stewie.
Even if I don’t get Stewie I’ll finally have enough Clams saved to repurchase Rupert, who I lost close to a year ago when I lost my original game. It was tough getting those Clams because I’d always get close to 250 then something I want would come out. Star Trek really slowed me down, but I was determined this time around and didn’t get tempted by Weird Al, who I really wanted by buying $2 in Clams.

On a side note TinyCo should have made Gold Scorpions poppable like Tribbles instead of using Engineers. By the time this event was over I had at least 20 running around in my town I couldn’t use.

I knew I could never get GUDG since I only unlocked him on Saturday so I just focused on getting Rick Astley and finally got him! Grant it, I had to pay 40 clams but I feel like it was worth it since I got that close on my own. As of now I’m second on the leaderboard, but third is only 2 behind me, and with 1:30 to go, he/she could easily beat me. I wouldn’t be too upset if I got the building though, but I’d really rather have Stewie. 🙂

I think I got everything I wanted kind of torn about the mystery box with the other rick Astley themed buildings. I would like to have them to complete the set but not sure I wanna spend any more clams on this event. Really just ready for it all to be over so the robots and fans will go away.

This is not a “pitchfork and torches” post. More of a feedback for tiny, since I am sure they watch these board’s.
I spent around 900 clams on this event. Not even close to winning anything. GUDG nope, challange 3 nope, stewie/peter skins nope.
So that makes me think just how much do they expect someone to blow for the same content filled event over and over?
Seems to me the game dying if they need more clams to just hit a few things.also this MB used to have 200++ replies on almost every post you guys made.
Has tiny run out of new ideas and are just going to bilk the same content till last clam standing? Sure seems like that to me.
Hope I am wrong but I know I wont be buying more clams till I see something new.

Another event where it seems as if you have to be a premium player to get the most popular items. I wanted GUDG and Ricardo. Playing quite often, but I still need about 20 grease and 8 candy for Guy and 4000 glow sticks for Ricardo. Can’t believe I’m not getting either with all the time I’ve put in. What a waste.

Not really, you just have to play a lot more and budget time and items wisely. Being Freemium will always require sacrifices and you won’t be able to get it all… but you can get a lot.
Just wait around, they may make a return later on. TinyCo likes to recycle Characters. 🙂

I only need 2 more lighters for Ricardo. What side show is my best bet for lighters? I just used Meg and Rick Astley for a Pop Show that lasted 4 hours and I didn’t get any lighters. I thought maybe a Rock Show would be good since I have four characters, but I have never gotten lighters from it before. Assuming I have no premium characters for this event, what’s my best chance?

I just rushed a 4-hour Pop Show with Rick and Meg and no lighters. 2 hours left. I have to pay clams to rush Joe Lion and Alice’s tasks so I can use 4 people for a Rock Show. I am not having any luck with lighters from side shows. I’ve only gotten 5 lighters from side shows! Everything else was from encore concerts. If I wasn’t behind every week except for Week 1 I could’ve done more encores and I would’ve been fine.
I hope I’m making the right choice by doing a Rock Show instead of Pop Show (which I’d have to rush before 3pm). So close and yet so far!!!

I really want greased up deaf guy. I’m sooooo close. Only need 15 tubs of grease and that’s it. Trying to decide to just pay the clams to get him or hope the event goes a tad longer to get afew more tubs. I don’t know what to do. Don’t know why they made wrenches so scarce. I play every hour of the day and wake up once or twice in the middle of the night still wasn’t able to get everything.

I used up as much as I could buying multiples of the same decorations until I ran out of tickets and guitar picks. The only items left I can buy are around 50-150 glowsticks each and the truck in the store that is 2.5k.

I’m so upset about this event, I’m nowhere near unlocking the only character I really want (Greased Up Deaf Guy), and don’t have enough clams to unlock him. I wish they would extend the event given Alice’s pant situation! 😦

Hi! I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else. I had about 197 clams, used a clam to speed up and complete a task, and dropped to 20 clams! I have no idea what happened! Has this been heard of before?? Thanks
