Hey there Sausage Lovin’ Beer Chuggin’ Lederhosens!
TinyCo has dropped into our games some Beer, Sausages, Beer, Barmaidens, Beer, Kegs of Beer, Beer O’ Clock Towers…. whooo… I’m getting a bit woozy.
With this fun Septemberfest Mini Event dropped into our games, we also get some New Questlines. Like the ones triggered by unlocking New Characters, like Angela!
Let’s take a look at Horrible Boss and all you will encounter along the way.
SIDE NOTE: This Questline will not trigger until you reach Battle of the Beers Pt. 2 in the Main Questline.

Just unlocked opie and just like Angela no quest has started, is there something I’m missing?

I believe, at least for me, Opie’s questline did not pop up until i reached part 4 or 5 of the main questline. So there must be trigger points for the character quests hidden within the main questline. My Angela questline popped right up when i got her and at that point i think i was on part 2 or 3 of the main questline. Hope this helps 🙂

Angela’s quest didn’t pop up for me when I unlocked her. I contacted TC and they said it would appear after I finished Battle of the Beers part 2 – which it did. Could be the same for Opie..

I’ve had Angela since the weekend but I’ve not had a quest for her at all.

Angela’s questline hasn’t triggered for me even though she’s been unlocked for a few days. Opie’s unlocked too, no questline for him either. I’ve updated to the current version of the game with no luck. The main questline, Beer Battles, works fine. The questline only gives xp & coins which I definitely don’t need, but any ideas what’s causing it not to pop up? Thanks!

Is it just mine or is everyone’s Peter hide from Angela marked as 20 hours instead of 16 hours and Angela hitting on Peter is 16 instead of 12 like it says in this post.

Did anyone else notice that you can build unlimited “Das Boot’s” to get the rare beer bottles? I built 8 of them at 200 coins a pop and finished both characters rares ..20+ in 5 days (you auto get one rare every time you build one too). Also the Beer Garten can be built over and over to get the common books that you need. Personally I enjoy when they just do a simple “event” with just a couple characters to go for and just a few items to get. Sometimes worrying about getting honey to build a bunch of beekeepers and records, guitar picks, picnic baskets, microphones, concerts and getting several items to make another item to get a shot at getting another thing….it gets to be a bit much? I do enjoy them but it can be intense. Nice to just work on a couple of characters for a bit.

Thanks for that! I didn’t notice and I need a bunch of beers for Opie! Got 2 going right now, I’ll add another 2 when those are done!

1 Scissors and 4 EoMs to get unlock Opie.
One thing I don’t get is why Peter’s task is 16 hour for EoMs. Its easier to just ignore it since Joe has an 8 hour task that can be done twice. Its not like I’m in a rush to get Opie with still having 10 more days.

Usually with a longer task, there is a higher chance of a payout. So if he is not needed… you may get them more likely from Peter if you send him.

I’m one beer away from Angela and I started the event a day late. I’m finding it much harder to get Opie’s item to drop.

2 EoM and 1 scissor….that is all I need for Opie

Only 2 more hours and I’ll be done with the horrible boss quest line.
Then in 8 hours Joe should give me the last Employee of the Month certificate and then Opie will unlock.
Compared to the Peterpalooza event, this one is soooooo slow paced. The German theme is a lot of fun. I have boots, brats, and biergartens all over my Quohog.
I like the quest lines which have a lot of characters doing lots of little things, not 8-12 hour tasks. That’s boring.
