- First up, you will have to be on Part 9 of Death at the Drive-in the Sequel
- You will need to be at Scream Level 8
or Higher - Play the New Event Phase to access ALL Content. With every new Event Phase there are “unlock points” for many items, so play through the Main Questline in order to see it all. I will Update Unlock points if any as I find them.
WARNING: There is another 24hr Timed Item in the Movie Projection Booth. This time it will be another Building Skin, The Petergeist Household. Same kind of trigger point that the items BEFORE it once created will make it so the timer will start on the next tap in Booth.
Also, DO NOT REPAIR STOLEN BLUE CAR!! Not just yet anyway. It triggers Esther’s 7 Day Timer. So be prepared before jumping in.

There is a NEW Item in the Concessions Stand, Chocolate Bars. It will be the New Exchange Currency for Movie Reels.

Right now this is the ONLY option I see in the Concession Stand for Exchange. My current Level is 12 and I am starting into Phase 3.

Just FYI… this has changed a few times now. It’s seems as I gather Materials. JUST Popcorn and JUST Soda trades opened momentarily for me. Then once I use the items, the option went again. Chocolate has changed too 3 times up n down. So, same as last Phase. Watch YOUR game for YOUR options.
HEADLESS HORSEMEN (HOLLYWOOD HORRORS_
There is a new Horror coming out of the Movie Screens now, the Headless Horsemen. They will start to appear in your game during the Main Questline AFTER Death At The Drive In III Part 1.
Headless Horsemen: Requires TWO Pumpkin Launchers to take them out as they are 50HP and each Launcher is 25HP Damage
Pumpkin Launcher: Requires 1 Pumpkin & 1hr 30mins to Create in the Movie Prop Shack

Phase 3….if only!! Still haven’t even completed the 1st week of purchases with reels yet. I’m just crossing my fingers and hoping that I’m lucky enough to unlock Death before the end of the event now! 😦

Im still on phase 2 level 7 (very very close to 8). I have a stock pile of garlic, water balloons & a few cannons. Does anyone know if its best for me to cash in now with popcorn or sodas? Im afraid the payout might change once I get to level 8.

Odd last night the timer for Buddy Cianci that abruptly started disappeared before the timer went down to zero. But now the prize just says expired and you pass over it without it opening up again. Kind of didn’t give me a chance to ever get it but oh well I guess that prevents me from being crazy and spending $50 on it. That and some of these other hard to get prizes could always make an appearance on a future Halloween. I’d be too angry to see the skin pop up in a cheap mystery box after I spent a fortune on it so I guess this works out.

The last item is just a skin. You don’t have to get it. I see it as a Premium Venture myself. So let the timer run out if not doable. I am also finding trading for reels a bit easier in Phase 3, so I am acquiring them faster.

I purchased Death’s Dog House and it’s in my inventory but it won’t allow me to place it. Has anyone else had this glitch?

Go this exact route.
Tap on the Menu Icon that looks like a blue cracker, then Tap on Inventory, then go to either the Event Tab or Building Tab and locate the house, at this point tap on it and then place it in your game.

Looks like the current rates for reels is:
35 popcorn for 5 reels
30 sodas for 10 reels
No option for chocolates for me at least. I do have some. Maybe once i get more i will see an option or i might have to wait until i start ohase 3 storyline.

I’m down to 3 werewolves. They don’t appear to be regenerating anymore. I have the torture chamber.
And I’m still 20 reels away from sb lois.
I don’t think tinyco works weekends so I’m just going to save up materials until they fix it. Hopefully i will have enough time to get patty done without spending the 75 clams to get her.

Lol i never complained about too many. My beef is the changing prices. Mine escalated way to fast in the beginning because i brought the clam buildings to help me out early on, which ironically did not.
Is this event style the first of its kind with the escalating prices by level? If so i don’t mind, but they would’ve been better off using the buildings to give a % off instead of remaining the same output while the prices escalate higher. That way as you leveled the ncrease would not have been as drastuc as it was. And of course it would promote buying the buildings better for the long run. 10 popcorns every 8 hours doesn’t have nearly as much value as it did early on.

Have they explained the constant change of the exchange rate at all? Its just weird that it seems to change up or down all the time. 1st phase went up by scream levels so at least it made sense. Now I just don’t get it. I can’t seem to find any sort of consistency or pattern to the changes.

The only pattern I am picking up on is when I have what seems like OVER 15-25 of an item, the options return and move around in a way so you can use what you got for multiple options. Post coming. 🙂

Still in phase 2, level 7 early stage: I had 140 popcorns and maybe 28 sodas. Saw only 35 popcorn plus 27 soda for five reels. Did the lousy trade (had been consistently getting 45 popcorn plus 27 soda for 12 reels). Then I had 105 popcorn and 1 soda, and only saw 32 sodas for 10 reels. So 105 popcorns isn’t enough to see a combo?!? My mind, she is reeling…. Oog. Still need 134 reels for drunk witch and Lois before I can start on Patty. Are they trying to force us laggards to go to phase 3 maybe?

I still have slasher lois to get n my reel getting options keep changing … I’m a level 8 and as of now I have only 27 sodas to trade for 10 reels my popcorn soda trade disappeared but I’m sitting on 110 popcorns right now earlier today I still had the 80 popcorn n 27 sodas for 12 but with the game error I got behind some hrs… Does that sound right or is there an issue I should report?

I just unlocked the ghosts and headless horsemen. I got rid of a handful of werewolves and went to change in my soda for reels, BUT popcorn and soda are no longer an option for reels… Just chocolate bars…? Is anyone else seeing this after the ghosts and headless horsemen start? I am at Level 8 as of now, btw. Any help would be appreciated!

I personally am no where near moving on to week 3 content…. Still trying to get the witch in the tree and of course slasher bait Lois. I’m on level 8 for scream points, so I’ve got the new movie playing (even though I’m only on part 7 of last week’s main quest line, I was able to purchase things from this week in the menu (like chucky) but no chocolate, no headless horsemen, etc. I do see the timer for the school skin has come and just about gone even though I haven’t reached slasher bait Lois. Anyhow, I’m way behind, and honestly I don’t even care! Don’t feel much like I’m missing anything but more issues /problems and stress! I would be interested to see a poll of where most folks are at this point. I imagine only die hard clammers who spend a small fortune are even near this week new content! Anyway, thanks as always for the great info Bunny!

Phase 3 is drastically less hectic than phase 2 was.. In my opinion at least. If you power thru and get to phase 3 I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Has anyone else run out of werewolves? Before the update yesterday I ALWAYS had 6-10 running around. Now when I take them out they are not regenerating and I’m down to one left. Went from one extreme to another which doesn’t bode well for getting remaining reels for Slasher Lois.

Sad, I missed out on some items that I was minutes from obtaining because of the Phase II rollout glitch. Now I have the error keeping ,e out of the game when I was right on the cusp of some other items that are now expired, this wouldn’t be so bad, but in my correspondence with Tiny C.O. they ignore the fact that their mistakes kept me from getting something, and just keep saying that “it’s supposed to be hard.” Very disappointing.

I had the movie projector timer issue in phase 2. Vamps only spawned once right at the beginning so missed out on week 2 prize which in turn makes it so I can’t get grand prize at the end and TinyCo just apologizes with saying they can’t give a prize if it’s not earned. Well how the heck are we to earn it if its their fault for the glitch in the first place? I feel your pain my friend.

I’m still in phase 2, however, I see all the new items available in both the event menu tab and the decorations tab. Got an update on the movie. At level 9. Still waiting to unlock Lois. Have contacted TinyCo in game. Waiting for response. Not in a hurry. Just found it odd that I can see everything else but can’t find the freebie.

It’s possible I missed cold bones initially because I just went back and found it but it was yellow like a clam purchase. But then I scrolled past it and back and it was blue…then I tried it again and it seems to go back and forth, blue and yellow. No biggie, just odd.

My time is running out to get patty and with this error popping up making it impossible to play right now am I going to get extra time to get patty? Really sucks when you get locked out of a game to no fault of your own during a timed quest and cannot complete it.

I know what you mean I just got to Slasher Bait Lois today and still need 100 reels to unlock her and that is going to be a few days also. Even with them changing the exchange rate it really doesn’t help that much if they want us to get to the next Phase faster they need to give us more soda options like 15 soda for saving Lois from Slasher Cat instead of 15 popcorn an the nuns should be able to drop soda also.

I’m on level 10 and still trying to get the pumpkins, witch, and Lois. I have collected 140 popcorn and now there is only the option to trade soda for reels, and my chocolate is locked also, what do I do with all this apparently useless popcorn. I was saving it all up to try and open all three at the same time, since I probably won’t be able to get enough soda and such to trade for enough reels to get it

The Buddy Cianci timer doesn’t seem accidental nor like a glitch. By forcing the timer before unlocking SB Lois, it seems like this is TinyCo’s way of pushing everyone forward by giving them less time and more difficulty for a skin that even they themselves know is not worth 300 reels.
Rather than having to decide whether to save up for it, the premature timer makes the choice easier for players to just skip it and focus on the next phase.

I’m excited for the Phase 3 Projection Booth items. They look more fun than week 2’s. The only good Projection Booth item from week 2, in my opinion, is SB Lois. But week 3 has several interesting ones!

The timer started on the building skin before I had even got the plastered witch… but with 300 reels required there was no chance that I would have attempted it anyway. Will have to buy patty for 75 clams as I only have 3 days left on that timer.
I have no idea how I could have been any further ahead without spending a fortune… but then I already have Death which is probably the only thing that wont go into storage after the event anyway so I calm on this one 🙂

Bunny any word on the Buddy Cianci timer? I have 8 hours left and haven’t heard anything from Tinyco about what they are going to do about it.

I can’t wait to start the third part. Got really behind collecting movie reels for the hell cat. Meg’s friends r hard to get. U pretty much have to unlock all the projection booth items first to unlock the friend.

Just for some added info, I’ve gone up to Scream Level 13 and so the payouts in materials haven’t increased, the most I’ve had to pay so far was 12 Chocolate and 25 Soda and 35 Popcorn for 25 Reels. And on individual trades the most of each material I’ve had to pay was 12 on Chocolate, 25 on Soda, and 35 on Popcorn all of each payed out 5 Reels.

I just hit level 11 and no longer have an option to trade pocorn for reels. Only sodas. I also have the chocolate building and its dropping and adding to my inventory but no options for reels with them yet. I have updated my screen to level 3. Grr annoying.
What they should do instead of dropping items is give you a discount on the number of items needed for the reels anyways. Just an idea.

Just unlocked Lois so few hours and will unlock phase 3, looking forward to it. Also finally saw the pattern to the increase in concession stand trades. Just hit Level 9 and what I need went back down to 35 sodas or 27 sodas and 80 popcorn, so it would seem it’s not the level that matters but where you are in it, when just into Level 9 it’s low trade rates but as I gather cleavers it will then increase the concessions trade rate, so when you’re a few away from levelling up, avoiding it is actually keeping you high for concessions, level up and try stay at low end of the level until you need to level up to progress.

Yes. They start with 50 HP (upper right corner), each hit takes 25HP off. So if he says 50HP, you didnt hit him. If he says 25HP, you did. Again this is ONLY in the UPPER RIGHT CORNER. 😉

If I actually want the Buddy Cianci skin would you recommend buying it outright or counting on Tiny Co to do something about the accidental timer start? I see the tough item for this week is just another Griffin House skin and as I have four skins for that already I’m not so interested. Plus at 500 reels what is that $75 that’s a little much for even me.

I need ur advice bunny since u already on phase 3 and knows what is going on. My rate on popcorn and soda just lowered for reels. Should I not try to advance to phase 3 since it sound so hard to collect reels and now it’s easy for me cuz I’m on phase 2 still? Only 27 sodas + 80 popcorn for 12 reels now. I’m just not gonna do the task so I can easily collect reels now.

I am collecting them fine now. Just depends on how fast you get each item really. TWO hits on Headless get you 12 Chocolates. Once you hit a certain amount of Sodas or Popcorn, multiple trade options for those open up.

Bunny, I’m on level 10 and still need the pumpkin stack, witch, and Lois. I collected 140 popcorn and 100+ soda to get several reels at the same time to open them at the same time and have reels for the high school skin like phase 1 to get slasher cat. My problem is there is not an option to use popcorn to get reels now in my game, only soda, and my chocolate is locked because I’m still on phase 2. Is this supposed to happen, if so why do I do with all the popcorn an water gallons to hit all the nuns still roaming around? Thanks for this site, it has answered many questions for me by reading other posts! Tinyco is not always quick to answer.

Yes. It comes and goes. You can still use them when it returns. Just earn some Sodas and keep going. 🙂

Will characters still turn into werewolves because it looks like drinks and popcorn are no longer needed to get movie reels? I really hate when my characters turn into werewolves especially characters I need like Stewie & Brian because I have to get Peter, Herbert, Chris, & Death to get the cannonballs, that and having Peter constantly save Lois from Slasher Cat when he & Chris have other quests they have to complete.

Hi bunny. I am at level seven and it costs 105 popcorn and 25 sodas for 12 reels and 27 sodas for 10 reels. I am still trying to unlock pumpkins.

Im confused: I am still on death at the drive in – the sequel part 7. Is that part of main questline? Can’t get slasher lois now…its grayed out….no option to get her which means I also cant complete running scared part 1.
I also have death wish part 1 as I still haven’t unlocked death….and also have bring the movies to life part 10.
Any incites bunny?

Death at the Drive In the Sequel Part 9 (like noted under pic of Chucky) is the main one and required to be complete to access all of Phase 3 content.
What do you mean she is greyed out though? What other items do you still have to get in the Booth??

Melted Choco and Mr High Fructose are somewhat the same, except one doles out soda and the other chocolates. Yet to complete their tasks early (at the 4 hour mark) Fructose costs 8 clams and Choco costs 37 clams. Uncool! Why did I buy Choco again…?

Patty has 2 hours left after my screw up last week, and I have literally nothing for her, haven’t even tried.
Not even halfway on page 2. Just started level 7. On part 9 of the needed quest line. No matter what, I am holding out as long as I can. No matter how far behind I become…. gathering as much information and tips as I can before starting it. Haha…

Just making sure I’m reading this right. Does it make sense to repair the car after you place death’s dog’s house? At that point I think you have what you need from the projection booth and you have 7 days to collect the materials which won’t start dropping till you repair the car.

Not sure if this is the right topic to post in, so I apologize if it isn’t. I also have the counting down timer on page 2 prizes but am still 2 deco’s away from Lois even. I had no intention of trying for that skin since I am so far behind, so I guess tinyco did me a 24 hr favor. That being said I want to thank you ladies for all the help I’ve received while playing this game. I started at the very beginning and watched and read this site and heard all the complaints and experienced quite a few as well, not sure how you gals do it. Anyway with each passing event tiny co seems to loose more and more contact with the fact that a game should be fun. I kept playing as all my friends quit, thinking it will get better, I’ve earned and bought everything from the start and shudder at thinking how much I’ve spent. But I’ve hit the wall. I’m done loosing sleep to try to keep up. I play games for fun and this is no longer. I’ve started playing another game you help with and so far it’s been fun( it at least allows for sleeping) so I’ll still keep reading your site. But I wanted to offer my sincere heartfelt thanks for all the insight before moving on. Good luck to everyone with this game.

I’m looking at the timer starting as a plus. If you’re as far behind as I am (won’t have Lois for another 2 days, at least), once I get Lois I won’t have to wait 24 hours to continue. There is no way I would get 500 reels.

Do you know if the pumpkin building now if it will still drop them even though I’m not ready for them? And i guess the choco ones will drop. I just have to be careful when i redeem them.
