Family Guy Addicts 
A rare event just happened – I actually PAID for a game… More precisely, paid to get ads removed plus the create-your-own jigsaw puzzle feature enabled. I’m now working on a puzzle made from a screenshot of my little Bunny Park in TSTO (yes, the name is an homage to our very own Bunny Addict plus the fence enclosing it is from Easter in Springfield) with all the benches by the fountains occupied by Simpsons characters with bench tasks. Harder than I imagined since I chose 630 pieces… Just getting the surrounding sidewalk and fence in place has been a trip.
Will have to remember to take screenshots of bombed out Quahog before the streets return to normal.
The game is called Magic Puzzles by Ximad and the free version includes a lot of free puzzles and options also. Mine is for iPhone, don’t know if it is available for other platforms. It seems like a good jigsaw puzzle game to me, at least it’s held my interest while other such games in the distant past didn’t. I like the way it works. I can choose the number of pieces, with or without rotation of pieces, can redo completed puzzles with no trouble, nice background music (and they gave me more music and several big puzzle packs when I forked over $4.99 for the no-ad version), and it automatically saves if I accidentally quit or there’s a crash (hasn’t crashed so far in the paid version, I think the complex ads were too much for it sometimes). But I haven’t played others so I don’t know if all that is now standard and they’re all just as good. Are there any other iPhone jigsaw puzzle games people can recommend I should look at? I was thinking of suggesting to a friend who is an artist that he might look into the profitability of making his work available as jigsaw puzzles, so I would like to see how other jigsaw games work. I’m also working on a detail from a painting by Renoir (one of the freebie puzzles in the shop) which is a lot of fun to do, it’s broken into so many pieces that I don’t even think of them as anything but colors and shapes until a face or a hand pops into view…. So paintings can be more fun than photos. My friend does the kind of water colors (landscapes especially) that would seem to also make good puzzles and he already has them digitized on his web site. The Magic Puzzles people have loads of puzzle packs for sale, but they look as though they are mainly stock photos or artwork old enough to be in the public domain (maybe they shoot some of their own photos, though). People upload their own favorite photos for puzzles also.

For the first time I’m gonna miss Halloween with the family. My best friend from up north is getting married (finally) on Hhalloween and I’m his Best Man. Since I’m starting a new job and kids already missed school due to sicknesses, we can’t all go 😞 So gonna fly up the 30th n fly back the morning of the first and start new job on the 2nd or 3rd. Last year I drew an Olaf face on our sons onesie. Was cute! This year our oldest daughter is going to try to trick or treat in my turnout gear and wife’s gonna make our boy up as Marshall from Paw Patrol 😊 Can’t wait for pics!

This is going to seem very random, but apparently there was recently a lawsuit against Starkist tuna about them not putting enough tuna in their cans or something, so basically Starkist is giving anybody who has bought a can of their tuna since 2009 $25 (or a $50 gift certificate for Starkist tuna). No proof of purchase necessary, all you have you do is check a box swearing that you have bought a can in the last 5-6 years! I’ll post the link here if I’m allowed:

I am having trouble unlocking Death. I can’t get Lois to stay on job long enough for her to produce Scythes! I put all of the scythe characters on job, and everytime I come back, that bloody Slasher Cat is chasing her again. And no one else is dropping bloody scythes. Also, the things for Death that you get from the pumpkin, they’re never dropping either, I think they’ve dropped maybe once or twice, and I need 15 in total.
Also, what is with taking away the popcorn to film converter. I now have nuns filling my town, all this popcorn, and it is all totally useless. As far as the drinks go, I could bomb 3 lots of bats and get absolutely nothing out of it. Get a few from werewolves.
And that’s another thing, making characters on quests into werewolves. It’s always the ones that can be used, like Quagmire and Bonnie, it’s always them for me, and it’s getting really annoying(and they produce the scythes I’m having trouble getting for Death as well). I have loads of characters, and it’s always the same ones being changed, especially when they’re on quests. They could be trying to get canon balls for taking down werewolves, or stuff for Death, more importantly, and it is an effort and a half just to get some of the stuff, because these characters are spending all of their time as werewolves, not on the jobs I sent them on, it’s crap.
The concept of the event seems pretty good so far, but some of the details of the event are poorly laid out.

I agree, death is completely on hold because I cant get the last scythes due to werewolves and lois always being chased by slasher cat. Its pretty aggravating. In fact, this whole Halloween event is a bust to me, I’ve been very discontent with it.

To make Slasher Bait Lois work you have to remember that she’s paired with Peter. You can’t have Peter do just any task. He has to do a task that is the same time limit as Lois. With Lois having a 4 hour task to get Scythes you have to have Peter do the 4 hour tasks to get Balloons. Doing it this way whenever Peter has finished his task you then immediately take out Slasher Cat to allow you to get to Lois, whose task should be already finished. You then assign Lois her task before Peter’s and repeat.

At last! 15 flocks of bats with one garlic bulb! Finally got Bunnie’s maze trick right. TYSM blakktoose for starting this petition! I have asked TinyCo, Matt directly, a couple of times if they would do this, but no dice yet. Bunny could you please make the petition in a red font? Please. 🙂 Honestly, I would prefer to see the link surrounded by muticolored, flashing neon lights, to make sure it is seen, but a red font or yellow highlight would do. 🙂 Seeing this petition, I know would be important for all of your loyal blog readers to notice. The majority of us are very appreciative of your hard work!!!

I have an odd glitch that just happened. Cleveland was a werewolf. I unlocked the Ghostbusters Cleveland and his sprite overlaid the werewolf sprite. Now when I click on him, I get the werewolf screen, but it still looks like GB Cleveland. LOL

I’m deep into my Octoberfrightfest movie marathon and going strong! So far 9 hellraisers, 9 nightmare on elm streets, 11 friday the 13ths, 8 Halloweens, 6 Chucky movies and Im working my way through the screams now! anyone got any other good suggestions to add to the list? if anyone couldn’t tell this is my favorite month/holiday of the year! 😉

Hey,, I am having serious issues with my internet,,I have missed the last two days of event, I am amazed i was able to log on and it could end any second so please answer this question without a see post above kind of thingy,, I am only getting the chance to turn in chocolate,,no popcorn soda chocolate mix,,has something changed?, i have tons of soda and popcorn,, but when i logged in (finally) i can ony turn in chocolate which i have none of,,what is happening?, is this a glitch?

Follow Bunnie’s advice and keep playing. I was unhappy to see only poor soda-only options myself several times in a row despite kazillions of popcorn. Kept taking the bad offers anyway and finally a good combo popcorn/soda deal showed up (25 sodas/ 60 popcorns for 15 reels).

I have to say that I love this game and have been playing since the ComiCon event last year. But I have been noticing that everything is costing clams now. I am not too sure about others, but I am not dropping $1000 a week on the mass amount of stuff. Not to mention that it won’t have a use after this event. I have Freddy Kruger who takes 1 day to get a pair of glasses. In any event I just had to get that off of my chest.
One other note as I am typing, the werewolves are starting to tick me off. I have been trying to get death for 3 weeks now and every time I know Louis, Quagmire, or Bonnie is done with the he sickle quest, they are turned and then I have to wait for another couple of hours to get the silver……. Aaaaarrrrrr

I’ve never had Lois turn werewolf, she’s not on the list in the game faq. If she really is turning, you might notify TinyCo. Sympathies on the scythe difficulty. I have one more to collect but only Lois on the job. I might still be waiting for a drop in November…. 🙂

I am with your frustrations. My Lois is Always so busy being chased by Slasher Cat and my main characters are constantly busy being werewolves! Don’t get me wrong game developers, love your visions, however, my main characters, and the plotline can’t progress. Cut us a break?

Yes! I play every day, several times a day. I’m still on week 2 stuff! Its pretty frustrated… I’ve never had this much trouble with an event before. 😦

I haven’t even got the drunk witch, much less Lois… Haven’t started Patty’s timer and need one more scythe plus Peter’s triple murder for Death. I’ve been this far behind at this point before and still managed to do the stuff I wanted. So don’t get discouraged. For the last phase, you can completely ignore the main questline if you want since finishing it isn’t required to go anywhere else. That will make it easier to catch up. People are also saying that reel collecting eventually gets faster in Phase 3.

Hey there, when I hit flocks of vampire bats, a lot of times now I get nothing, or just 1 soda. I have been timing it so that I will tap 1 or 2 vampires near a couple of xissting flocks, then fire the garlic when they are all clustered up. I will hit between 4 and 8 flocks at once this way, it says so at the top of my screen….yet since Patty is gone, they don’t drop anything, or just a soda or 2 at most. Getting 2 soda’s TOPS after following flocks around my screen and waiting for the perfect moment to fire is, to say the least, disappointing. Is anyone else having this issue? I never have gotten more, mostly I would get 3 or 4 unicorn stickers for Patty, but as I said, now that she is gone…nadda, nothing. I was hoping more soda’s would replace the sticker, but no. 😦

If you look at my rundown post for Phase 2 in the vampire section… You’ll see that’s not an issue… it’s how they work. At times a lot of Sodas, others just a few, then none.
Message them in game and tell them your thoughts on these kind of payouts. 🙂

Definitely read Bunnie’s post on mazes and follow her suggestions for making one. I finally got 7 flocks and then 15 flocks at once that way, pre-maze I was getting mostly 2, sometimes 1 or 3, and 4 a couple of times. Being able to clear several vampires at once and having a chance of the flocks staying nearby long enough to aim the clunky sight makes a big difference. When I hit 15 flocks, I got a whole bunch of sodas so it increases the odds of a decent payout as well.

I’m really thankful for the effort put in on this site. Bottom line is I play FGTQFS every day. I really don’t give a $#!+ what people think about it either. There’s always new content and challenges. It actually requires thought and strategy. The support folks are awesome. Every time I’ve had an issue they’ve taken care of me, in this event alone at one point they apologized and jokingly I said “how about 50 sodas?” BAM, 50 sodas. Because they care about the customer experience. You just don’t get that from other companies. You asked Tinyco for more challenging events, well you should be in hog heaven right now! Lol. Which ultimately brought me to FamilyGuyAddicts.com. I’m new to the site but what was an initial WTH is going on google search has turned into a daily interest in what people have to say about the event. What? There’s a bunch of people doing the same thing I’m doing and coming together to talk about it? Nice!!! So yeah, I’m just a dude that works at a hospital in Oklahoma USA and loves this game. And this site makes me get into it even more. So, THANKS!

I think this event is a lot darker then last halloween don’t you think bunny? Every thing is a lot more scarier like how much clams cost for the premiums and they sure as heck have most of the decos requiring clams compare to last year. A lot more screw up and they usually do a good job fixing it ….but not this year. Seem like they make it worst evrytime. I’m not talking about the game itself because they are so lucky they got rights to do a fg game giving how popular the show is so u have to be a total morons to screw up fg. I’m talking more about how they screw up the game play and not making it fair for everyone. I like last year halloween event sooo much that I couldn’t wait for this year event but now that it’s here…. what a mess this is, I’m disappointed. Thanks bunny for helping us all out cuz if it’s not for u girls making this game less fustrating I think I woulda delete this app a while back. I believe you girls are the ones that make this game fun to play with. They need to commission u for all these help u do for them cuz without u the game wouldnt be this popular and I hope they realize that. It’s not tinyco it’s u gurls and seth.
