Bouncing by for a quick update. TinyCo made an announcement a few hours ago. They are giving everyone an extra day for the Event.
THANKSGIVING 2015 WILL NOW END FRIDAY, DECEMBER 4TH @3PM PACIFIC
That gives everyone one extra day to get the items they want in the game, so for those of you wanting a lil more time… there yah go! 😉
In the meantime, feel free to still keep letting me know WHERE you are in the Event in the Poll.

Has anyone had a problem receiving Donna? I earned all of the materials and tapped the green “unlock now” button. However, she never fully unlocked in my game and now it’s showing a check mark next to her but shows items are needed to collect. Sending a message to Tiny Co and I hope they can fix it before the event ends so I can get fat Stewie.

Your opinion please. Is the extension due to poor drop rates? OR. The Christmas event has bugs and is not ready yet? Inquiring minds want to know.

I honestly think they wanted a Friday release anyway… so an extra day was no big deal. The extension wasn’t “necessary” but many welcomed it.

I haven’t had a single kale drop in 2 days. Reminds me on the epic eyeball drop rate.

I am very happy about the extension. I am still 3 Kale leaves beyond on Roberta and 8 fat coins behind for Donna. I feared that I had come so close only to lose out on the two characters I wanted. Now I will at least be able to get Donna and hopefully I will get the Kale drops as well. Fingers crossed.

If I hated kale before, I really hate it now! 🙂 I am glad for the extension too. I was all set to get Donna, and got her yesterday. But it was doubtful that I would have gotten Roberta without spending a bunch of clams. Now I have a shot at getting her by tomorrow without spending too many clams. I may have to rush a few tasks if those kale dont start dropping!

Ha, I have had a week off work and have had lazy days at home. Even checking my phone every time I get a notification I am still well behind. How does this even happen?!

I don’t know how to tell how many of each item I have, since it only shows me how many are needed for each requirement once met. E.g. 3/3 even if I have 300

Look at where you are in the game. If the items not listed, then say you have none. If you have one, then mark one. If it says 2/5, then you have 2. Etc

Pretty good. I’ve finally unlocked all the prizes that leads to getting Fat Stewie, in addition to completing the challenges. Although I’m upset that I couldn’t win the Stewie-ballon prize, due to me sending Chris on his 18hrs task for the main questlines.

I have been a bit behind on this one as my drop rates haven’t been very good, so I am glad for the extension. I thought that I could make it if there was an extra day, I just wish I had known about this earlier. About 5 minutes before I got the message in the game, I spent quite a few clams speeding up tasks and buildings. Not too many, but it would be nice to have had them for the next one in case I want to get anything.

I am thankful for the extra time! I am done with this event though. I did use some clams along the way, otherwise I would have probably needed the extra day as well. I am glad for the extra day though because I have to work all day tomorrow (when this event would have ended). Knowing TinyCo’s usual release schedule for the game, they probably would have released Christmas a few hours after the Thanksgiving event ended. So now that Christmas will also be pushed back because of this event, I will no longer have to miss a day of it. If Christmas is going to be as jam packed as I think it is going to be (probably), I will need all the time I can get for it. 🙂

Very happy for the extension…drop rates on certain things have gone to a hail mary like in football. Hoping for some better results in the next two days as this will be one of the first events I can get everything and not spend a small clamfortune on 🙂

Didnt seem too necessary, but i hope it helps those who are behind. Maybe the adjusted the drop rates as well. Hopefully.

Why, out of all events, did they extend this one? Me, and most other people are going through the even perfectly fine.

Since I have been done with the event since earlier this afternoon, I guess I’ll just decorate my town. I won all the balloons and crafted all the items, I even have about 40 fat coins and 22 fit coins leftover. I wish I could gift coins or items to other players so they wouldn’t go to waste.

Oh, wait. I just entered the Pawtucket Brewery district. Maybe the new stuff to collect is for that. Bonnie is collecting something that looked like an elf outfit, but it could be for the little workers at the brewery…. Never mind.

Why do they extend a mini event, but noto big event with the same problems? Mobster event for example.
When they do extend big events they make it even more impossible to finish it! (Halloween 2015)

Some characters now have tasks that collect new stuff since they announced the Thanksgiving extension. The icons in the task lists are too tiny for me to recognize, although one looks like a spray can (or flame thrower…). Lois is collecting musical notes. Now if I could only turn in my blue and red coins (still coming!) for clams so I could get poor little Rallo Tubbs….

Yay! I just unlocked Donna today. I still need to get 2 more Kale to unlock the Ferris Wheel and then I can hopefully unlock Roberta…fingers crossed that you don’t need so much stuff for her test won’t drop, like the Kale and those butters for Donna!

This annoys me. I spent 32 clams to get the last fat character this morning. I could have let it go and completed in plenty of time. I was afraid Fat Stewie cost a ton. I was actually disappointed that he was free.

Sweet, need 1 kale and 1 turkey leg and 6 fat coins, had bad luck on fat coins today it seems.
Very unbalanced on coins as I have roughly 40 surpluss fit coins

The imbalance is my only real complaint about this event. This one seems to be measured better than any event I’ve played – good prizes, variety of characters involved, etc.
