Hey there Snowflakes!
It’s beginning to look a lot like MORE Christmas. Raid to the North Pole Phase 2 is now live in our games. This means more Characters/Costumes, Buildings, Decorations, and just a lil bit of snow. 😉
RAID TO THE NORTH POLE ENDS THURSDAY, JANUARY 7TH @3PM PACIFIC

I will NOT be able to confirm all of this for accuracy until I get home. Until then, here are the basics that SHOULD be there.

HUMMA BATTLE CLARIFICATIONS
Now that I could play through it a few more times, the Humma Battles break down kind of like this…
You will fight the Village Buildings with your Humma. Depending on your current Humma Level AND the amount of Characters you have will determine your payouts and Buildings destroyed. Once you Destroy ALL THREE Buildings in the Village, they will Level Up and become more difficult to destroy, so you once again need to Level Up the Humma or get MORE Characters. This will continue on and on and on and on. So it is up to YOU on how you level up the Humma and when it works for you. If you find you are getting a lot of payouts that work for you at a certain level, try not to defeat all 3 Buildings and prevent it from Leveling up.
Just know that as the Buildings get Leveled Up, the payout for taking them out also increases. So it may take a lil more time to take them out or more Characters, but the payout balances out in a way.
I will have more payouts from my game listed on separate post.
When ONE Building is destroyed, it shows a Check Mark over it to say it is “complete”. This means if you have THREE Buildings you are attacking, the task is not yet done. Wait til you see all 3 with some mark over them. If there is an X over it, you did not destroy it.
Per TinyCo, you should still get SOMETHING even if you do not destroy anything (and NO, it will NOT show a payout in the pop up, this is payout when you tap on the Buildings X to clear the task). If you find you don’t get anything at all from the Battle, then message TinyCo.
Unleaded Egg Nog: Peter Ask for Toys OR Bruce Fret About Something OR Chris Enjoy Private Time OR Santa’s Arsenal OR Stocking Repair Shop
BROKEN TOY CAMP/MISFIT TOY BATTLES
You will unlock this during Elf Empire Strikes Back Pt. 2.
This is very similar to the Humma Battles. You will get the Blocko Hovercraft Hangar from Santa HQ for 50 Presents and place it in the game. Once placed you just tap on the Hangar and you will see what it will take to Upgrade your Blocko Hovercraft. Tap on the Encampment for the info on a “Misfit Toy Battle”.
Blocko Hovercraft Starts Level 1
Blocko Hovercraft Level 2: 2 Blocko Wreaths
Blocko Wreaths: Misfit Toys Battles
Blocko Drivers: Christmas Camo Peter, T-600, Sarah Connor
Misfit Toy Battle Cost: 4 Ciders
Cider: Lois Tell Bedtime Stories OR Bonnie Twerk It OR Season’s Greetings Greenhouse OR Christmas Crisis Command Center
Payout: Varies on Toy Cars, Snowflake Medals, Blocko Wreaths
Battle Time: 6hrs
There will be 4 Snow Structures possible to take out in the Misfit Toy Base, so the Level of Blocko Hovercraft, amount of Character Drivers, and Level of Snow Structures will determine payouts
Some Payout Ideas from MY Game.
Blocko Hovercraft Level 1
+Christmas Camo Peter: 10/220 Strength. 1/4 Structures Destroyed. Payout 2 Toy Cars/ 1 Snowflake Medal/ 1 Blocko Wreath
+T-600 & Camo Peter: 20/220 Strength. 2/4 Structures Destroyed. Payout 4 Toy Cars/ 2 Snowflake Medals/ 2 Blocko Wreaths
ROBOTIC MISFIT TOYS

Will appear AFTER The Elf Empire Strikes Back Pt. 2. You will need Sarah Connor (HQ) to clear them, so work on getting her first. They look like Jack in the Boxes hopping all around the North Pole.
They have a Payout chance of 5
Silver Bells OR 1 Toy Car OR 1 Anti-Depressants
(It can alternate with One OR Two OR All items)
TASK LOCATION IN NORTH POLE
In case you have not noticed already, majority of Tasks being performed in North Pole are actually in a lil Camo Brown Tent aka “Base Tent” to the right of Santa’s HQ and closest to Al’s Entrance. You can tap on it to see how long your Characters have left on their North Pole Task.
LEADERBOARDS
Yes, they are back. NO THEY ARE NOT LIVE YET! (At least not in any of my games.) They are now live!
I just wanted to focus on some basic information for the Leaderboards before they do launch live into our Event…
I will repeat this one again… Leaderboards are there as a CHOICE. You do not HAVE to participate. You have no idea whatsoever how millions of other Players are going to play. How much money they will spend. If a Player may go Premium for this Event after being Freemium for a long time. This is also like a slot machine, you take a risk with your earnings and see what you get in return. If YOU decide you want to take the chance to invest and play in them, you do so at YOUR own risk.
NO CHEATING! TinyCo once again will watch the Leaderboards for any “excessive beyond normal play” counts as well as modifications or “hacks” to their FG:TQFS Game. If you are found abusing their Leaderboard Guidelines, you will be banned. Those of you that have altered your game at ANY time, will be shut out of the Leaderboards. Those of you that “exploit” glitches in the game to gain excessive amounts of Snowflake Medals, will be shut out of the Leaderboards. They want ALL Players to have an HONEST chance at the Leaderboards and their prizes, so ANY activity viewed unfair, will be banned and shut out of them.
If YOU were banned, you need to not address it in the comments. Instead take any questions or concerns directly to TinyCo via your in game messaging. We have nothing to do with the game, so can’t discuss or assist any player in this regard.
If you feel you were falsely shut out, again, contact TinyCo so they can review your game account and communicate with you directly on why it happened. (If it was done in error they will correct it.)
ANY abusive or venting comments on the Leaderboards will be handled the same as any other abusive or venting, it will find it’s way to the trash bin. So please be respectful that you are on the ADDICTS SITE, and follow our Guidelines in keeping this site what it is meant to be… HELPFUL AND FUN.
If you are seeking a place that is nothing but vulgarities, anger, hatred, etc… take a peak at what that does to a place and try to spend a few hours on TinyCo’s Facebook Page for the Family Guy Game reading comments and see how you feel afterwards. We do NOT want that kind of garbage here. We will not allow it. WE ARE NOT TINYCO.
This should be enough to tie you over. More will come once I get home. Hang in there.
~Bunny

leaderboard question:
-are there multiple top helpers lists like the music event?
-also I have 74 medals but the leaderboard says 62 since this morning.

If there is an error in counts, in game message them.
I am not seeing the “groups of 30” like before. Instead they did the “Community Prizes” with a Character at the end that if we hit we ALL get him. 😉

But its only usable at the North Pole. After “Raid to the North Pole” is over, are all the items gone? And the purchased ones?

Nope. They will go to your Inventory after it is over for placement in Quahog

It’s most efficient to stay on the level where you can destroy 2 buildings. So collect enough lights to go up 2 levels at a time.
Otherwise once you go up to the next set you get the same number of hats for one building as for two of the lower level but you only get 1 light instead of 2.

Is no one else excited about the community prizes!?!? Top prize is god!

I am. I LOVE they put a Character as a “Community” Prize. One that we ALL get. 😉

Sorry if someone has addressed this before, but I have a strategy question. Does it seem to be worth it to get Lyle? (I mean in terms of usefulness to phase 2 of the event. I don’t personally care about having that character in my game when all is said and done). Does it seem like he’ll help earn back more presents than he costs? I might be as much as 2 days from earning him and am not sure if I should just move on to phase 2. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you are gaining Magic Hats fine with just Santa at the Humma, you will be fine. That is mainly what I am seeing him help with. Beyond that, I wont know til more phases launched.

Hey cool, God is the top Community Prize on the Leaderboard.

Phase 2 looks like a lot of fun! It’ll be a while before I can start, though. Still waiting on getting enough hats then presents to get the building that releases grenades for Camo Peter. The leaderboard depresses me…some people are at over 1000 medals, and I’m over here at 24.
So far, even though I’m at a slow pace, it’s a cute event.

Skynet complex will cost you 900 presents and 24 hours to complete.

? I already have it tagged as 900, but what are you talking about with 24hrs? Mine I placed and it was good to go right away.

It has a 24 hour timer. I thought it was odd bc it didn’t say freaking hard on it. Last week’s final was only 250 presents and labeled freaking hard.
LikeLike
It does not matter. They are ALL “Hard” like I notated in this very post. It didn’t have room for the tag as it also noted the two drops it helps with as well. 🙂

I bought a $9.99 clam pack and got 75 toy cars. I then randomly got a 5 toy car for 86 present trade offer. Crazy! Unfortunately it didn’t repeat but was wondering if anyone else had seen a trade like this? Not complaining! Allowed me to get Lyle that I was going to pass on.

Yup. Rundown of my payouts coming soon. 😉

I’ve not had any sole toy car yet, only combos. So I’m still doing lots of humma battles to get my trades lol XD

What is the point of even having money in this game when it’s basically useless since everything now has its own special currency? The bells buy you a few items only, hardly any Christmas decorations like last year and to top it off they make it take forever to unlock a character to move on. Overall I really dislike the new updates
LikeLike
It is just week 2, lots more coming and more “decorations” released each Phase. There is a list of the ones on Week 1’s Post and I am updating all the ones in Phase 2 on this post. 😉
Money applies to Districts. So no, you don’t need a ton. But when new land gets released or new buildings, it can be costly.

For the first time ever, i had a day or two to catch up on side quests! I’ve been in the hospital (for my grandmother, I’m her surrogate) since the 3rd with limited log in capabilities. I finished first phase with 2 log ins a day, 3 on very rare occasions. Usually just checked in AM before leaving and at night once home again. Grateful my jobs have been understanding.
No complaints, no questions. Just glad, grateful & trying to stay hopeful. And to say it was doable. I did buy hat machine, though. Lol

Anyone else having issues with the drop rates on the beer for Camo Peter? The Greenhouse hasn’t dropped any since the first time I collected from it (yesterday or day before), and Bonnie has been similarly barren over the same time period. Now that the bells building is dropping nog, I’ve got Chris hula hooping to help out, but I’ve been stuck on 7/10 since yesterday. The three grenades I got in the first two collections from the Surveillance Center, so I’m wondering if the Greenhouse should be dropping with more regularity.
As for the Hummas, I’m on level 6, approaching 7, collecting on the Igloo Fort and eagerly awaiting Camo Peter so I can get an extra few hats a pop and get to 377 and Lyle that much more quickly.

This is not meant as a rant or vent but I see that the medal leaderboard has gone live and already seems a little wonky. I know that it is all dependant on how much you are willing to spend but to see the top player already at 600 is a bit disheartening. I have 96 and have been playing my butt off and have spend a few clams. Oh well I do like the addition of the community challenge. I’m not calling shenanigans necessarily and in the end I’m not going to lose any sleep over it just more curious I guess on how much 600 medals this soon must have cost!

You will drive yourself mad trying to figure out the “how” of other Players mindsets. I know many in some FG groups I am part of state they spend as much as I do each Event on Leaderboards alone, just because they want the top prize so bad. If I understand correctly, when it comes to the global leaderboards, as long as you are actively playing, you will be included in receiving the prizes as the numbers get reached? For example. when it hits 10 million, everyone gets 10 hats? Therefore, if all the players together get the 80 billion, everyone gets God, and all the prizes below that? This is hurting my fragile old brain! *chuckle*

My Clam offer was to buy a Clam pack of $9.99 and get 70 Toy Cars for free, looking at the Leaderboads for the Community prizes, that looks like a hell of a lot of total medals we need to get to so we can get God, but I’m sure we’ll manage to get there. 🙂

Top solo prize is Super Robot Elf. Not sure why the collective thing with God is there. 80 billion collective? Bizarre and insane! Top player in my girl’s game is at exactly 600 medals. After having only been live a short time, not sure how that’s possible. Bunny’s comment about slots is an interesting notion but I fail to grasp the concept of how they relate. In slots you put money in to gamble a chance to increase your money. So am I putting my characters in to gamble a chance to get more characters? All kidding aside, I don’t get how gambling relates to Christmas unless you’re Jewish… in which case you don’t believe in Christmas. Shrugs.

It means if you spend Clams to rise on the Leaderboard, it will NOT guarantee you the payout you seek. Just like gambling, you could put in $1000 into a slot machine hoping to hit a Jackpot, but there is no guarantee that you will hit that Jackpot at all. You may walk away with something still, but it may not be what you hoped for. It’s all about Chance. You against the “game” in a way (ie other players).
People seem to think that spending Clams will guarantee them a prize on the Leaderboards or a certain spot, then get upset when they do not get it… so I am just pointing out from the start, “NO GUARANTEE”. 😉

However, despite me now having 156 medals since speeding up when it went live the leaderboard still says I have 79 and my position is still the same. Is this a glitch? I should be around 100, not 2,204. Please help. Last support ticket I put in during Halloween was not answered until 2 days after event. So I understand about not leveling up, but how high is manageable? I’m still at level 2 with only Santa attacking. At only 6 hats every 4 hrs, I won’t get Peter for days. Is level 3 really too high or tough to get hats?
LikeLike
I was doing level five with just Santa for a while and payouts were varying. Between six and twelve magic hats. Couldn’t work out rationale for difference.
Now have Peter and Santa at level six. Fifteen magic hats. Just sent off for three building attac.
LikeLike
The only level that showed 0 reward for 1 attacker was Level 4 for me, so as long as you build up enough lights to not stay on 4 then levelling up does increase the payout. I’m at Level 6 and getting 12 top hats when just attacking with Santa, 15 when attacking with Peter & Santa. So level up but avoid sitting at level 4 if you’re only attacking with Santa. With only 1 attacking you won’t see any increase at Level 3, or Level 4 obviously but if you can to Level 5 with 1 attacker you will get 9 top hats, 12 if you get Peter attacking as well.
Bunny has stated you do get a small reward for trying at 4 but obviously whizzing past the level is in my opinion the best idea. From Level 3 to upgrade to Level 5 you will need a total of 20 lights, 6 to go from 2 to 3, 6 to go from 3 to 4 and 8 to go from 4 to 5. Hope this helps.

I am having the same dilemma. It seems as though Lyle will be pretty useful throughout the event, but I don’t even have the building that drops grenades for Camo Peter yet! Collecting presents has been SO SLOW for me! If I wanted to attempt getting Lyle I would be AT LEAST a full week behind on the event. At the very least. So while I really want him, and I think he would be very helpful, I just don’t know if it’s worth being so far behind for… I just can’t decide lol . Dilemmas, dilemmas!

Looking at who is used in Phase two, and the absence of a mention of Lyle’s name, I am inclined to give him a miss and use the 250 presents he would take towards achieving Sarah Connor who DOES have a use in phase two. Collecting toys I think the post said.
Remember, it is what YOU want from the game that will make you most satisfied going forward, not only through this event, but forthcoming months when event over.
Personally, I have decided to skip Lyle and go for Sarah Connor, with a ‘perhaps’ on Kevin Swanson, depending how well presents are being achieved at at point in the game, bearing in mind he will be 385 presents. A sum that could go a long way in phase three.

Side note: Magic Hats are still quite in use. Peter will jump to Hovercraft as a driver too.

Hi Bunny, I know it is early in the second week, but I have the same problem. I don’t have enough for the igloo yet, so Lyle is also about a week away. In your opinion, is Lyle very necessary, and worth being a week behind, or forget about him and move on (if I can ever get the igloo)? Thanks. I hope all is better with you.

If you are getting items from Humma just fine with Santa alone… then you won’t need him. 😉

Thanks to one and all. I wasn’t sure if top hats were no longer the primary focus like the last event with popcorn and I could ease my way through it without Lyle. On to Lyle it is! Phase 2 will just have to wait!

For a Jewish guy, I’m really enjoying this event! I’m just disappointed that the one Hanukkah costume/item they’re offering during Hanukkah is in a box and could cost 1000 clams or more–I’m not even going to try because I don’t have a desire for Christmas skins or more XMas decks that will just go to permanent storage. But hey, I’m getting Sarah Connor, which is the main reason why I like this event!

Wow once again don’t even have camouflage Peter yet. Was able to stay on pace with every event until mobsters, now cannot even come close to finishing on time on any event since then.

If you’re freemium and not buying clams you’ll usually be a week behind
That’s how I’ve been progressing through the last few events

Yeah, I’m having the same problem. I just got my first two Christmas genades about an hour ago. One more and I can finally get camo peter. It would be nice if Tiny (but not in their bank accout)Co. would give us more time for each phase. It’s impossible to even do half the stuff in the time allotted without spending hundreds of $ on clams. And this game is simply not worth it. I wish they would go back to the way events used to be. Like the Comicon event.

Just a refresher… we did have the EXACT same complaints during Comic Con of the pace of the game. 😉

One thing I noticed is that the stocking repair shop is now also dropping eggnog, which is very good to see. Not sure how many though, probably just one… But better than nothing.
My plan is to continue getting sufficient presents for Lyle and only then (two days from now) go to phase two. Slowly slowly catchy monkey 😉

Just to update, the stocking repair shop drops a single eggnog. But better than nothing.
I just got camo Peter but will still need him for more eggnog so I don’t think he will be overly useful. And I’m still around two days away for getting Lyle because I only get 12 hats per attack with a level 8 Hummer. It’s good to understand that the building upgrade is triggered by three-building-attacks, this is why the same happened to me, I went up to 15 hats per attack on three buildings but then went back down to 12 hats.
Still fine though, from reading through this the second phase doesn’t sound overly interesting to me so I rather play on and get Lyle instead of letting this character pass.

Bunny once phase 2 starts is there any reason to continue the attacks on village?
My Humma level is a notch below 6.

Sexy Santa Lois, Jingle Joe and Hanukkah Mort return from last year and do have a 6 hour task to get bells (I think it is just 1 I wasn’t paying close attention).
I haven’t discovered any other old characters that also drop them as yet.

This is probably a WTD, but…how is it that as Phase 2 starts I’m already behind. This doesn’t bode well for the event as a whole.

That is the thing I try to tell people, you do not HAVE to start a new phase as soon as it hits. It is OK to go at your pace. Just do what you can and go at a pace that works for you and your game play. 🙂
Many people are still in Phase 1, no worries. 🙂

I am glad to see that this Mystery Box was decent. I didn’t get too many repeats and was able to get all the costumes – if all the Mystery Boxes were like this, I would not have to dread them being released. 🙂
I hope that you are doing alright Bunny, sorry to hear you have been unwell. I think most of us would agree that your health is more important than this game, so don’t worry about some of the posts being late. We can’t expect you to constantly be on this site. You do an amazing job and we appreciate your hard work and dedication. 🙂

I’m with Mike on boycotting mystery boxes after I put in well over 1000 clams (I lost count, probably about 1300) on the dog multiverse mystery box hoping to get Jasper or Jack. Instead I have a ROW of human adoption centers. I think I’ve got 7 total. I’ve got nothing special to show for a good chunk of change. I really felt burned by that one.
Now I spend clams when I know what I’m going to get.

Will the Humma remain advantageous? Was thinking of holding off on Phase 2 to get Lyle, and therefore have a second driver (as Peter is needed for other things…such as nog). But if the next Phases phases out the Humma in favor of stronger, more rewarding vehicles, driven by other characters, then it seems like a waste to wait on Lyle. Any advice?

Since Camo Peter is needed to finish the quest line, and I have not even unlocked the grenade dropping thing, I don’t really care…

Would you use presents on Lyle or getting week 2 items? Currently only thing I see Lyle doing is drive Humma. Hope you’re feeling better!

I even bought the ‘core of Christmas cheer’ to help get the outfit for Peter and I’m still behind

Bad news, just confirmed from TC that the top prize is indeed a character and will only be handed out to 100 people total in the entire game. Not too happy about this at all as I enjoyed having all the available characters and it sounds like this one will cost at least $1000 to obtain.

I think this was a really bad move on TCs part. I think a lot of people are driven by an obsession to have all characters and skins (I know I am) and as a result, they will drop a fair amount of clams to get them.
This character is ridiculously out of reach, and once I get to the point that I know I can’t have all the characters, there will be a lot more that I won’t bother trying to get!

Question regarding the first phase: I am desperately trying to collect presents to get enough for Lyle. If he is only a key player for Phase 1 (i.e, the battles), does it make sense to forgo him and start Phase 2? I have enough for the fort now, but am two or maybe three days away from Lyle. If all he helps with is the battles for presents and we won’t be needing presents any more then maybe it makes sense to skip him and get right into the next phase to avoid getting behind. Curious what people are finding and their thoughts.

You still need presents. It currently looks convenient to get him so he and Santa can keep attacking in the humma whilst Peter moves on to attacking in the hovercraft, but as it’s only been a few hours it’s hard to tell for certain.

In same dilemma, although I can tell you that the (top) hats are still a way to obtain presents in phase II. In phase II only Camo Peter, Connor and T-600 can raid next area. So, without Lyle that leaves only Santa to attack, and if you’re level is too high one person doesn’t yield enough, if any at all, awards. I would skip him if items weren’t needed to unlock Connor.

I think you should get him cause Peter and Santa will be needed for other things.

Presents are the event currency we will need them for the next month.

That is always the challenging question! I’m a bit of a completist so like to get the characters, not so much the buildings and still bitter about the 24 hour timer for Halloween.
I think the pros of Lyle is he is a permanent character and will be useable for the raids, at the moment that seems to be a key part of getting presents… Of course next phases might be slightly different but for me I am banking for Lyle.
