Christmas Copter requires Red Ribbon to Upgrade. You can get it from the Santa’s Factory Battles.

The 24 hour timer for the toy assembly line is not right as you don’t even have to click on the santa’s headquarters, if you click on the spy Brian task then it takes you to the headquarters automatically and starts the timer which it shouldn’t really do.

I know that, just find it stupid that clicking on a task in the task list would take you there especially when you can’t even get spy Brian through the Santa’s headquarters as you don’t need presents to open him unlike the other characters so see no need for him to be there.

Hi Guys,
This is my first post but I’ve been playing for well over 2 years and have found your site invaluable when dealing with special events. Thanks for all the hard work!
Now, down to why I’m posting. I’ve noticed you’ve posted previously how many presents/giftboxes you get for different combinations of items. I did some basic calculations and discovered the following:
1 top hat = 2 presents
1car = 2.66 presents (or two and two thirds)
1 chestnut = 3 presents
1 gumdrop = 3.25 presents (three and a quarter)
1 elf shoes = 4 presents
Occasionally with cars and gumdrops you’ll need to round up the result.
These are some of the combinations I’ve come across so far:
20 hats + 6 cars = 56 presents
(20 x 2 = 40) + (6 x 2⅔ = 16) = 56
27 chestnuts + 5 elf shoes = 101 presents
(27 x 3 = 81) + (5 x 4 = 20) = 101
6 gumdrops + 17 hats = 54 presents
(6 x 3¼ = 19.5) + (17 x 2 = 34) = 53.5 rounded up to 54

I cannot unlock the Toy Assembly Line. It had a time limit of 24hr and I missed that, but I still have a questline for it that won’t go away! Questline: Hotel Rambo pt. 4 is still telling me to unlock the Assembly Line. How do I get rid of it? Or is there still a way to get the assembly line?

I aM so far behind…just got snake have to unlock him. Still have the other lands locked. Wonder if they will extend event….this is just me but i think there was way to much event stuff going on to be able to do it all before it ends.

Right there with you. The “fix” isn’t working, I’m having to get two of everything from Santa’s tent. Still working on ?Phase 3 as a result. No wonder on an extension and you won’t get any presents credited to you. Won’t be buying calms ever again.

are robo elf and chuggs actually unlockable characters, I’ve had the medal count needed but I don’t see any way to unlock them / get them ?

They’re Leaderboard prizes. IF you earn them and still qualify by time the Event ends… they’ll be awarded about 4 to 7 days AFTER the Event to those that qualified.

I have got to the stage where the only way I can earn jewels is from Veteran Herbert taking out a Gingerbread Man as the return on the battle is zero as he tackles 0/5 buildings. I did try sending him anyway, but he returned with nothing. Unlike Santa at the start where he at least returned with a few hats.
Like everyone else, cannot get Spy Brian, who is the other pilot in that battle zone, as he is not achievable without paying clams.
On the plus side, I have Fighter Pilot Quagmire now and the copter pad so only have one more goal requiring presents and that’s the Toy Warehouse.
Not been the most interesting event for me.

I decided to not wait to get Secret Spy Brian and used clams to get him but it wont allow me to put him on 24 hr task which gets presents. When i click on the task it tells me i need 58 more clams when i just paid 88 clams to unlock him which is what it required. I can and did send him on a different task but wanted the presents task to work. Any ideas on why its doing this? Really appreciate the help.

K so, now that he is free… the 24hr task takes place in the Impenetrable Igloo Fort… do you have it?
Is Brian somewhere else on a task and it is telling you the “speed up Clam Cost” to finish that task? Like he is on a Battle in the North Pole?

Thanks for helping. He was not on a task and i do have the Igloo fort which is now giving out bells. I bought him before getting the last 2 buildings before him if that might matter. I was able to send him on a task from his new questline, but the presents task said i needed more clams, it didnt say they were to hurry it up, just said it the way it does if you try to buy something and do not have enough clams. He has 4 more hours on this task so tomorrow i will try again and let you know if it works. Thanks again, i truly appreciate your help.

Same exact issue for me. Paid clams to get the watches needed for spy Brian and when I try do do the task that earns presents it says i need 38 more clams. 🙂

Thanks for this. I was thinking about unlocking Brian’s skin for around 80 clams – not because I want the skin (I don’t) – but because I need help earning presents. But if is only 25 clams every 24 hours for 5 days I am not sure that will help me and so it could be wasted class (am still on the pilot Quagmire skin).

Hi again, just to let you know what has happened with this issue. After my last post to you, i got last 2 buildings in Santas HQ and it still would not allow me to have Brian do the 24 hr task for presents and he was still locked in Santa Hq even though i have already bought him and putting him on all other tasks. Today i noticed that in Santas HQ he is now unlocked so i clicked on him and it has started all over requiring me to get all the items to receive him again. I have had him for days do every other task and now it wants me to buy him again? I dont understand but i sure hate that i spent my clams to buy him earlier, it hasent helped at all. I would try to contact TinyCo. But they never respond to me when i use the contact us link in the game. The only time they have ever responded is when an error occurs and i use that link. Anyway, just i would let you know. Its too late now to do anything about it im sure.

I’m super behind on this event despite playing like a million times a day (*sigh*) so I’ve basically just given up on getting anywhere near completion (I’m on North by North Pole part 7, but it takes two characters to beat even one place in each station at this point, and between Peter being need for two of them so they can’t be done simultaneously and needing characters for the quest lines as well, it just feels useless). So I was wondering… I see that the Quahog Mall was available in the store for 50 presents and one of Jesus’ tasks requires it… Is it worth getting, since my presents aren’t going to get me that far anyway? What is the payout for Jesus’ task? I tried searching for info but only got posts from 2014.

It just opens a task. Nothing Special. The main task for Jesus that people like is his Clam dropping one, it’s visual and outside.

You’re not alone. I’m at the same point in the quest-line. Play constantly. But, didn’t spend any clams this event to speed anything up. Probably won’t be able to reach phase 5 before end of event.

Once I have the Toy Assembly Line, is it safe to assume that there is no point left in collecting presents?
Also my Toy Warehouse disappeared making it impossible for me to complete Hotel Rambo Pt. 3. Is that just a side quest? Is there a trick to get it back?

Is there a reason why I keep collecting more of the items required for Eskimo Brian? I have enough of the pens and the middle item required but it says like 34/30 and the other says like 31/25. There doesn’t seem to be anything else but him that requires these items so why do they keep dropping? Also if I’ve collected everything from week 5 that cost presents is there any reason to continue collecting presents or can I stop now? Thank You

I completed phase four and most items appeared for my phase five, but NO quest line, NO page 5 for Santa’s HQ, and nothing left to do…..trying to wait, but can’t progress toward. Yes, I’ve been back and forth btw Quahog and Winterwonderland, and still NO trigger. Another glitch/bug which is buggin me, lol!

Jesus comes with his old baby manger (which acts like a building, drops money and XP), but he’s the adult version. This game better go on for years since that’s how long it will take for him to drop enough clams to reimburse his purchase price!

Eye Of Santa lols like a tower until I place it and it shrinks to just an eye on what looks like a pot. Is it suppose to do that and is anyone else having this issue?

Mine was just the floating eye, too. After some time the tower reconstituted to full height. Don’t know if it will shrink down again or not.

Baby Jesus? You mean the Adult Jesus? He should be in your Characters section of your game IF you did not get him last year. If you did… look for him in your Inventory Storage in the Characters tab

Just got and placed the Eye of Santa. It’s animated. But. The tower is missing. In edit mode you can see the whole thing but once back in play mode, the tower disappears and only the eye and top part are visible. So we have a floating looking Eye. Lol.

What’s weirder is that when selecting the tower to move, rotate, or store it, you won’t be able to do anything if you tap and hold on that eye (which is the top of the tower, it scoots a certain distance away after placement and going back to normal view while the rest of the tower goes invisible). You have to tap and hold where you actually placed the tower, which looks like empty space.
I hope this means Santa’s surveillance system isn’t as good as he thinks it is so we can relax about privacy concerns. I decided to store the thing in inventory…

Aside from the Spy watch issue already mentioned (which I suspect TinyCo will drop another task/action to help with on Sunday/Monday) the last phase is gonna be a lot easier (I was able to get all the workshop items in one go – except Brian). Not really much incentive to stress this week on battles as momentum alone will get us all to the point of bringing God to our lives 😜

This is where I am. I decided to do this one freemium and it hasn’t been kind to me. If I can get Snake Plisskin and God then I’ll generally be satisfied though.
I’m wondering of they’ll extend by a few days considering all the glitches people have experienced.

Not just you. Between the errors and needing to sleep and work I am once again behind in the event. Kind of given up on seeing the last week of events honestly. Even buying premium characters has been of little use.

Honestly the premium characters dying really help that much due to them being tied up in questlines.
If you want to spend clams to see the end, the purchase to make was the five robots that generated the items you exchange for presents.

Well, it’s certainly “not live” in my game, since I’m still back in phase 3. Although I am finally starting to collect spy watches now, so I guess that’s a thing.
(And in case it wasn’t obvious, I’m trying to poke gentle fun at a typo. Not trying to be rude or anything.)

Anyone else stuck mid North by Northwest questline? I finished one part – I think it was number 5 – but the next step hasn’t triggered. I tried going back and forth from Quahog and North Pole, as that’s solved the problem before, and force-closing the game then going back in, but no luck.

I hate to say this, but this game stresses me out. Between glitches, and really impossible goals for freemium players, I dont think Ill keep playing anymore. Its sad because I never get to see the last phases of any event, and are really putting A LOT of premium building that are completely garbage after the event ends. Some are even recycled from last xmas event. Except for santa. Overall, I have been frustrated more that entertained. There will be a point, where all those buildings, characters and decors will consume so much memory that many deviced will crash. I bet that, like me, everyone have most characters in the inventory, or the least those on max level, along with other bunch of stuff, even premium characters.
Im sorry to be that guy, but had to say it. I dont like being on a timer, and lose events because I dont have the time or the money to make up for it. Ive spend around 50 bucks and I regret it. Because every premium thing you buy, becomes useless after 30 days.
Sorry again. I will come back when the main quest get extended and someone finds a way to expend my 4000000 coins

Should I be able to access District 5/Phase 5/Santa’s Workshop District now? I have no tasks left to complete (or at least none are showing). Any yet, the Santa’s Workshop District remains locked and Santa’s Headquarters only displays pages 1 through 4.
Or am I just jumping the gun a bit and it’ll become available sometime on Thursday?

Make sure you check the questline Trigger characters and then make sure those Characters are free to start the questline. Some trigger while in Quahog others while in north pole

My glitch is that when I’m in the north pole and open up my inventory, the expired timed item from Santa’s workshop is in there. I got sky net and just got the tree fort. I was nowhere remotely close to having enough presents for those.

All phase 5 prizes obtained (except Brian costume) with 2500 presents left. These were useless in the Halloween event as TC didn’t do a last minute trade in offer. Other than keeping up on the leaderboards, which I’m not concerned with, is there any point in continuing to do raids?? Thanks and Happy New Year!

I forget how many presents I paid for the last 24 hour building, I wanna say 1400… , but it is a 6 hour building that drops 50 medals every 6 hours. Or for 12 clams to speed it up.
So, yeah, 50 medals for 12 clams… I suspect a VAULT in Leaderboards with this new situation. Maybe we will get God sooner than I thought. 🙂

Bunny, I hate being that guy especially since there have been so many major glitches with the event and I appreciate you understanding that my intent is not to be negative but realistic and bring forward a problem early on before it gets to be unfixable. But the math for the wristwatches won’t work for players who don’t have T-1000. The 12- and 14-hour building collections aren’t enough with two items dropping for each collection between now and the end of the event. Let’s say a player starts this phase at 4 pm PT today and the event ends at 3 pm PT on January 7. Realistically, there are 15 collection windows without rushing any of them and collecting them as soon as they are available (collecting every night at 4 am PT and ending January 7 at 4 am — the 11 hours remaining is useless for another collection). That would yield 30 wristwatches from the 12-hour building. The 14-hour building has only 13 collection windows, assuming you collect every one of them when they are ready, including those that are in the morning hours falling short of other 30 wristwatches needed (the collections ending at 6 am on January 7 — the nine hours remaining are useless for another collection). Obviously, that isn’t mathematically possible using only these two buildings to get the 60 needed. I know this event has been plagued by glitches and they are trying to make changes on the fly in the best interest of the players, but this challenge isn’t realistic based on the time allotted assuming the event concludes on that previously stated date.
Thanks for hearing me out on this one. This is not about pitchforks and railing at TinyCo, but more about seeing a potential problem early and allowing a change to be made before an already anxious player base is amped up with even more stress. My intention is truly in the best interest of everyone to eliminate an internet riot. I know once the math is reviewed, the error will be obvious and solving it quickly will be in the best interest of everyone. If this is what they intended (for it not to be possible without using clams in some fashion), then that’s fine and I will know not to even bother attempting since I know it is not possible even by setting alarms to make every possible collection. I am happy to share my math should someone be interested in seeing it.

Sorry Bunny. I have seen defensive comments to these types of things being brought to the attention of the players and I wasn’t trying to stir the pot. Any time there is a timed piece involved I try to get a handle on how to strategize for it and with so much going on I was struggling to see how this could be done with my game status. If it is intended to only be possible with clam use (as more than a few things are becoming lately), I wanted to save myself (and others) the aggravation before they got part way and found out it wasn’t possible. The way the game has been of late we never know what is a mistake and what is intended. I by no means meant to question you not knowing how to work the math. Just didn’t know if you had worked it yet with all the other things you are trying to get out for us to make our game play easier.

I suspect I will have to spend around 100 clams to unlock him once I have collected as many watches as I can. That said, the only reason I want the skin is for the extra presents task to help complete the event (I still need a few presents for the 4th of 5 freemium phase 4 prizes)… if he is unlocked too late to make a difference I won’t spend on him.
Paying no attention to leaderboards this time. Have spent a few clams rushing a couple of prizes to avoid going too far behind event progression, but not even on for any lb prizes (none of interest to me anyway apart from God).

So today, I got the three cans of icing, and then sent my tank to attack and boom, no more quest line. I see all of them except the main one. Tried freeing up peter, full restart of phone, jumping back and forth between the north pole and town nothing helps.
I don’t think I have seen this one on the issue lists….any thoughts?

I saw that too, but my math was a little different. We had 8 days left, Max 16 possible drops on 12hrs task and max 13 on 14hrs task, they drops 2 wristwatches, 32+26=58, not enough time. Conclusion is…use clams to finish it if you dont have T-1000. Just a few wristwatches cant be so expensive.

The thing about the 14 hour task is that unless you plan your sleep, some of the times it actually hits to collect the item are going to be in the middle of the night when you are asleep so taking longer then the 14 hours, the 12 hour ones are a bit easier as you can plan one in the morning and one in the evening.

Agree they should have started it with the other parts or at least make some of the other buildings or characters drop the watches to give players a chance

I agree. My plan is collecting as many spy watches as possible and once you need him you can then buy him for some remainder clams. So far I don’t think he has a task because the ‘fight super elf’ task isn’t live yet…?

I’m sorry and I know this is supposed to be a helpful post (which is why I think what Sean submitted was dead on), but shouldn’t the tasks be mathematically plausible as they are presented and then each player should make a decision as to using clams to complete? This is not the first time this has happened where a challenge was presented that was not mathematically plausible based on the requirements and time allotment. I get that this is a game and I treat it as such, but objects of games are to “win” and winning would be completing the event/challenge. If the rules are set up so you can’t succeed in that, then why would anyone bother playing at all? I am guessing it is just a bad presentation (making players think “this is it”); Rambo was mentioned previously and there is that patch of asphalt that says “Super Robot Elf”. Perhaps there is more to arrive even though the words “Final Phase” were used. Still have a full week left!

I look at it the same way I look at items in the LAST position of the “create” areas. There are ways to earn them, but a possibility that Clams may be involved. I am not sure they fully looked into this one, or anticipated his release much sooner allowing for it to be enough time… and with glitches he was delayed… but I see many companies showing this kind of game play. Not just TinyCo. Doesn’t mean I agree with it, just means this is nothing new to me.
But again, as I always say with TinyCo… things can change in an instant. Things that seem impossible today may be very possible tomorrow. New things added to help with the Materials. New Battles that may drop them. New Characters to help out. Etc. This is the kind of game where unlike our TSTO site, I am not able to do a complete “Math” post telling you how to get from A-Z… because TinyCo works in steps, not a direct line. So I could give you the calculations for game play as of a specific Phase, but it all changes the next Phase.
All I can suggest is to play, try to enjoy yourself, and don’t over analyze the game play. You will drive yourself mad trying to do so. I find it is a lot more fun to stop over thinking every lil item and just play with what you currently have available in the game. 🙂

I have been plodding along and making progress, and for the most part have enjoyed the event, and while I am not doing great in the leaderboard, I don’t really care! *chuckle*
I see some potential “hotspots” in the new phase, but as the phase just rolled out, I will hang back and watch how it all plays out. I do hope this phase is not as glitchy as the last few, and that all those who wish to play can do so!

So I just opened up phase 4 two days ago, So I don’t think I have a shot at Phase 5. As a freemium player I’ve noticed that I’m normally a week behind all of the events, there is just no way you can keep produce enough “things”. I”m super cool with that now, last year, not so much. ha
though I am a little mystified how I or any other freemium player can get Spy Brian? I’ve been working on him for over two weeks and the watches finally started to drop yesterday. I got 2 from each location. And it seems it takes 14 hours to regen the drops. I’m no math wizard but 4 a day and you need 60, that would take you 8 days if you were extremely vigilant and collected every 24 hours.
Yet there is 7 days left in the event and you need him to attack in Phase 4. This makes no sense, am I missing something?

Confirmed that Spy Wristwatch shows as dropping from the two buildings without having cleared Phase 4 main questline (ie: not yet to North by North Pole pt.9). Have not seen them drop yet, though, as timers still running on buildings.
Also. Noticed a bug when I reached Phase 4. Sorry if this has been mentioned previously. Was able to purchase Gingerbread Tank Hangar before acquiring Gingerbread Tank, for $1. Thought it was a separate purchase from the Tank itself, so I bought it, and I now appear to be able to perform raids on Santa’s Bakery, without having purchased the Tank itself. Don’t have enough Bio-Diesel Icing, so I haven’t yet. I know I shouldn’t, but given all the issues I’ve had with this event, I’m certainly tempted to do so before I buy the Tank properly. Even if I don’t, I may start upgrading it, since Puppy Brian now has the task…

Yes… 2 from each building.
The other is from the issue of Missing Vehicles, a buy option for it was added. Be careful… you could end up with 2 and cause issues.

Did the strengths of some of the districts get reduced? I seem to be defeating districts entirely where before I was only destroying a single building.

They were sending patches to help fix the Vehicles issue… it may have boosted many of them to full strength… or at least to where you should have been

I never lost my vehicles, it’s as if the strength required to destroy all the buildings was lessened.

Has anyone had a problem with their snowman prototype disappearing. Mine still hasn’t come back and I emailed tinyco about it. Im just mad I spent clams on something that they haven’t replaced and I have missed out on about 5 days of hats because of this…… I know that a lot of people have had problems, but I was wondering if anyone is still waiting for stuff to come back. I’ve already force closed my app, deleted and redownloaded it.

I’ve messaged them today, the 28th, and when it all started. Told them about the prototype When it started and the 28th. It was the only item that I had in front of the bases that never came back. I know they’ve had problems and I’m ok with it…. But I did spend clams on it.. I did go from a iPhone 4 to 5s when the event was a couple days old but it’s linked to my Facebook so it should still show the purchase right??

Device doesn’t matter. It’s all linked to where you save it. So if Facebook linked…it’s being saved.
My main thought was you said you emailed them. Just want to make sure it’s in game messaging you’re doing whenever possible as that’s directly linked with all your game stats and info.
Email can take longer as there’s usually a lot of back and forth trying to get those stats in game messaging would auto send.

The only thing that bugs us is when the anger is taken out on us instead of TinyCo. We get the frustration when things go wrong, we just want people to know it’s not fair to us to use our site and/or us as a punching bag for TinyCo. We’re the helpers, so abusive behavior is ridiculous, pathetic, and not welcome.
