UPDATE ON GOLDEN EGGS 3/1: Per TinyCo, there was a “visual” glitch they have narrowed down now from Players reports of “not getting Golden Eggs”. Many of you WERE getting Golden Eggs this entire time, but “visually” were not seeing them. The Magic Bean Icon instead popped up. This “visual” glitch has been resolved, but just wanted to let you all know that even though you saw 0 or 3 “Visual” Golden Eggs, you may have actually gotten like 5 or more of them all this time. 🙂

DRAGONS
As many of you are seeing, TinyCo is relaying in messaging to you that the Dragons re-spawn anywhere from 12-27 hours. I myself as well as others saw MORE than this time pass before the Dragons finally returned. I already reported this and am awaiting more feedback from them. In the meantime, expect at LEAST 12-27 hrs for their return.
Also coming up in another post, the payouts for Magic Beans from the Dragons are a LOT more than it shows in the pop up.
PRINCESS LOIS & BUTTERCUP
Like I noted already in the main post (see link above), these two will take time… a LOT of time to complete. Possibly the entire Event. Right now the ONLY item you can collect for them is the Princess Hats (300 needed total between them) from the Dragons. As more unlocks, which I assume will be as the Event continues over the next few weeks, I will continue to note WHAT and from WHERE when they hit. So stay tuned. We have a month of this, so plenty of time and lots more to come.
GOLDEN EGGS/SINGING SWORDS
As we are all seeing, the Archery (at least for me) shows many of the items as a “HIGH” chance of dropping no matter who I send. I did ask if there could be more clarification on this one as with them ALL “HIGH” I am still seeing the Golden Eggs drop more at a Rare/Low rate. Will update if I get more information. In the meantime, just keep trying. The ONLY guarantee of Golden Eggs is the Golden Egg Goose Clam Building.
KNIGHTS IN TRAINING
These wandering Knights in our games that you can tap to clear (and that fall silly, Lol) are timing down via your Castle Gates. However, that timer usually shows around 24hrs… though I see them more like every 2-4hrs spawning. Reported.
HONOR POINTS
Without there being a number to tell you EXACTLY how many you have earned so far, it is hard to know just where you are. With this I am also seeing the return of “the bar isn’t moving”. As in the past, this is more a “Visual” thing as the higher you get, the more you need to move forward. The Bar tends to appear to “stick” at points and not move. This will happen time and again. No worries, it is still going, just not enough for you to visually see it. Just keep going and eventually it will jump forward to the next spot.
HUMAN RUPERT ERROR
I have not seen a lot of reports on this. Only one or two actually, but wanted to put it out there in case others saw it too. Players are reporting a Consuela Error in there game.

I suggested the usual Basic Troubleshooting, but for many this does not seem to be helping. I did report it and am waiting on further instruction on it. In the meantime if YOU are seeing it, report it from your game if you can. And if you can’t, email them help@tinyco.com and attach a screenshot of the Error including the numbers on the screen from your Splash Screen.
STAR TREK CONTINUATION ISSUES
Many of you had some items leftover from Star Trek creating all sorts of odd things.
First up, the Turbolift. We ran into this too the first Event when it ended. The Turbolift dropped into Inventory, but placing it only gets it stuck in your game. It is not supposed to be there.
Characters state they need the Turbolift. Again, another repeat. They should have been moved to regular locations for the Tasks like Griffin’s House, etc. This will take a lil bit to resolve.
Players being transported to alternate Play Space like Enterprise/North Pole. This most definitely should not be happening.
On all these issues, all I can suggest is report it to TinyCo until a patch is sent out to resolve them.
MAGIC BEANS
Even though the info is in the Main post, I am still asked time and again WHO helps with Magic Bean drops, so I will post the exact information in the Main Post here.
Mini Beanstalk Greenhouse OR Medium Beanstalk Greenhouse OR Knights in Training OR Questlines Or Herbert Work as Town Crier OR Bruce Tend to His Fat Ass OR Chris Play With Arrows OR Jerome Sell Grog to Hipsters OR Quagmire Play With Arrows OR Gypsy Cart OR Event Buildings
You can also get them from the Dragons and just all over (like the Gypsy Cart by the Castle). I will have a more detailed post after TinyCo clarifies a few more things on them for me first.
As to Joe, Mort, and Tom Tucker….
- Joe: Did not start until I hit the Task in the Main Questline
- Mort: ONLY dropped for the Task in the Questline
- Tom Tucker: Have not seen a Task yet.
So for these all I can suggest is play as some unlock at certain points, only available at points, or only after you build and place locations into your game. Otherwise wait… once I get more info from TinyCo on the Mort and Tom drop… I will add them to the final post and put that live. Just know they are EVERYWHERE in the game by just playing.

I’ve been training Peter at Archery continuously since the beginning of the event and as yet haven’t had a single Golden Egg or silver arrow.
I just get magic beans every time.

i jus took Tom Tucker out of storage along with the Quahog news station and he does have a 24hr task says “make up news for fun” that earns magic beans and honor points. i’ll take out all my characters jus to see if anybody else has a magic bean and honor point-earning tasks. Lol

Got and finished the 24hr quest (easiest one in quite a while), but didn’t see anything show up in inventory. Do, however, now have the option to buy Castle Walls at 1 Bean a pop. Didn’t notice if I got this option before or after the quest completed. Is this as it should be?
Also, is anyone else having issues with the Arrow drop rate? Usually the event buildings that you have to collect items to build drop their items at an Always rate, but the Shoe House seems to be more of an Uncommon drop rate. I’m lucky if I get 2 Arrows every four hours, between Bruce, Lois, Bonnie, and the building. This last time around, only Bonnie dropped one. If the rate is going to be like this, it’d be nice if they gave Peter a nice 4hr Bean dropping task, so he can at least be doing something productive while I’m waiting to send him to Archery…

Started the event early, cancelling the Trek event. It’s now Monday evening and I’ve just had my first golden egg drop. I think at this point I’ll save until I have 3 for the Black Knight Castle as it’s the only thing that drops one item for Westley. I got the helmets and am half way thru the breastplate using characters. As well I got all the swords and the Fire Swamp from the archery training so maybe, cross fingers, eggs will drop more often. Although I must note I finished the other items Sunday afternoon so it took another couple tries for the egg.

The drop rates for golden eggs are definitely not “high”. I’ve tried sending Peter, Black Knight and Sir Peter together and even though it shows the chance as virtually maximum on the bar, a egg still hasn’t dropped for me. The annoying thing is I cant earn potions because I cant free up the characters till I get an egg, so I’m totally stuck in place and making no progress.

I sometimes see an error message, but it’s not the Rupert one listed in your post. Restarting the app or my phone usually clears the error. Error: Null frame ad_decorations_whitefences_SW-half.PNG in prefix

I’ve not been having any luck with Lois, Bonnie, Quagmire or Mort dropping the needed items since I put the Buttercup house in my game. This includes the the much needed arrows. Is anyone else noticing this?

Maybe this event is why we had the Star Trek repeat the past two weeks. The animations this time around are simple beautiful Between all the castles and knights and dragons this is one of the best animated events they have done in a while. Really liking that aspect of it and it is only week one. I really hope we get a chance to get a dragon for our town plus those two Brian and Stewie statues in front of the main castle. They look quite awesome

I will probably have sir peter unlocked before I see a single gold egg. So I won’t even get to use the buildings that drop items for him. The reason I point this out is that the fact that the buildings won’t even be used for their intended purpose makes me think the eggs may not be dropping as much tinyco intended them to drop. But they could really just be pushing for sales on the golden goose so it’s hard to say. I went 2-3 days before seeing a second dragon but according to the faq, it wasn’t suppose to show up at all until part 7 so I just thought that it was a mistake that I had him right away and didnt really think anything of it. Its nice to have the extended time in between to kind of stock up on potions anyway.

I just got Golden Eggs 3 times in a row from Archery after only getting one after several tries. It is so variable. I also see others saying they got a few then nothing for a bit or the opposite, nothing then got a few. It is all over the board… as usual. Lol.

Thank you for this summary. I’m used to events being awful at first, it’s how they make people panic and spend real money, but this one has just seemed impossible with the drop rates on archery. It’s good to know I’m not the only one seeing extremely low drop rates, which is only bothersome to me because I need arrows to even try again.
I even purchased the black knight thinking he’d be helpful. Not so much, yet.

There’s only one issue I’m encountering which I do not see listed here. I actually had this same issue/bug occur in pretty much every single event to date. In this event, when I send Peter to practice archery it takes 6 hours to complete and 18 clams to fast-finish. However, as time continues to count down the clam cost does not. At 5 hours it was 17 clams, at 4 hours it was 17 clams, at 3 hours it was 17 clams, and at 1 hr. 57 min. it is now 16 clams, lol. This happened during away missions in the Star Trek event (both first AND second contact). This happened in a couple others as well, but can’t exactly remember which ones…perhaps I’m getting too old or have had a stroke.
BUT, I know for sure the clams should correlate with time remaining which they do not accurately reflect. I already messaged them about this during both Star Trek events and it was only addressed during the first one as, “Can you send screenshots and we will look into this” – which I did, but I guess it was never properly resolved. I reported the issue for this event too, but have yet to hear anything back so far. Thank you, Bunny! Hope you are doing splendidly and that you are all healed up and healthy again! 😄🤗

It all varies. Some options will lower as time does, others may be set and not change. I will ask if this is one of those cases.

Well it does lower but just not at the proper/accurate rate. There is nothing logical about the clam:time ratio is what I’m trying to point out. Like when a task takes 4 hours the clams to speed up the task is usually double the time. I somewhat understand their point in hiking up the clam price for these ‘trainings/missions’ but as the time counts down the clams do not.
The only time I see a somewhat proper ratio is once the time goes under the 30 min mark unfortunately. 😦

Honestly… I think some of it has to do with the Material/Item involved. So if it is a rare item, the Clams cost to speed varies more. That is what I see anyway. Materials change the clam buy outs all over the place.

Another Dragon question: With help of the black knight, I actually managed to defeat the dragon to its highest level – and then it disappeared again. Looks like there is no “streak” this time, no possibility to defeat him more than once on the highest level? Or does it come back at level 5 after cool down?

Honestly, that is up to your system. Some devices fair better using IE or Google Chrome to access online websites. I can only offer basic troubleshooting and mainly on Mobile Devices. PC’s & Laptops are a whole nother nightmare of possibilities to access anything online. All you can do is try everything you can and see what works best.

It seems like there’s no way to get potions for the dragon battles without Westley (or a premium purchase such as Black Knight). Hmmm…

Sir Peter and Westley are your two FREEMIUM Potion Makers, so do what you can to get Sir Peter first, then Westley. Buttercup and Lois will most likely be dead last as their items look to unlock Phase by Phase, so no way to get them anytime soon.

OK I paid to defeat a 3rd dragon and I’ve unlocked Westley too. Nor sure about others but I’ve spent £80 on this event.

My honor points level is definitely stuck. It is full and hasn’t jumped to the next level, which is 3. Also, when I go into the event info menu, my honor bar goes PAST the edge of the bar meter, so I know it’s supposed to be at level 3. I’m doing well will magic beans. I should have everything I need by the end of week one. Pretty much need 2,275 to get Wesley and the Joe and Brian Carriage. I caved and spent clams and got the library. It will be worth it for this event, effectively giving me clams back plus some.

I get 2 knights in training every hour (maximum 8 knights in the city at once). And the golden eggs were the reason I came here looking for information. I’ve sent Peter to practice archery 3 times and I’ve yet to get even 1 egg so I’m stuck on the missions since I can’t buy the jousting field

I’m currently Oh-for-Six in getting the singing swords to drop after Peter practices archery, despite the graphic saying that there’s a ‘high’ chance of them dropping. It also says everything else is a “HIGH” chance. (See this very post you are commenting on). So you have a chance to get ANY of them. Eggs and swords though are more Rare. Varies by Players.

Nope my question wasn’t answered. Why is it that to get the bombs to fight the dragon do you need to unlock sir Peter and have him do tasks when it’s taking alot of time to unlock him? And no task for Peter to help unlock sir peter?

??? Ummm, the point of the game is to do things in steps and phases. You unlock one Character to access other things in the game and proceed from there. If you unlocked everything day one, than you would be bored the rest of the Event and that would be pointless. 😉
Peter DOES held unlock Sir Peter by sending him to the Archery. The ONLY tasks to focus on are the one’s in the Main Questline, otherwise Peter can go off and be in the Archery or do other things for the Event.

Is it ok for the honor bar to overlap the amount of beans on the event screen?, my bar is full on the lower screenplay for a while at level 1, still when I checked on the event the bar seems to get out of its placeholder and into the beans amount one

Why do you have to pay? There is no reason to HAVE to pay. You can play just fine without paying you just have to put forth effort in the game if you are a Freemium.

While you’ve got their ear, my main request is that when we tap the castle while the Dragon is gone, I’d love a pop up with the timer till it returns, AND the potion inventory. I’ve only got one character who can earn them and I’m trying to get a mix but it’s hard to know how many I have of which.

Thanks for the info! I’ve noticed though I think we’re going to have to pay 40 clans to bring the dragon back sooner a couple of times because so far we’ve had 2 dragons in nearly 5 days. In order to get all 300 hats needed for both Buttercup ams Cinderella Lois you’ll need to beat 14 dragons.
So yeah probably going to have to refresh anywhere between 4 and 6 times I think.
Hopefully I’m wrong and the refresh rate will speed up!

I’ve sent Peter and the black night to archery about 8 times now and have yet to see a golden egg, Is this normal? Even rare drops more than that. I sent an in game message and all I got back was a cut and paste message.

I’ve had only one egg drop so far even though the chance us always high. Please message TinyCo that this is an issue. Chances are it won’t be fixed until enough of us complain. Doubt I’ll get Lois or Buttercup at this rate.

So I’m on my 5th archery trip, so far be gotten 40 beans & 1 egg twice and 30 beans twice. Really could use swords since all of my quests are unlocking Sir Peter and sending Sir Peter on missions.
The only thing that really is driving me crazy is that we have to use the same characters to unlock Sir Peter and Wesley. Why do we have to use the same people? I have over 100 characters in my gam but we have to keep using the Same 6-8 for every event. It’s a little frustrating and frankly boring.
Bunny you should post that response you gave the other day about freemium players on the main page. That really is the perfect response on how to play this game.

any reports at all of stuff dropping, but NOT counting to unlock Sir Peter? the bf is having trouble saying for sure now that he’s had a few singing swords drop when tapping on Peter done practicing archery, but yet they aren’t being counted at all. it’s happening with the breast plates as well in his game.&he has 7 more hours until the building will be done so he can start working on unlocking Westly as well.

Hi Bunny, I’m having an issue with Peter that plagued me all during the Star Trek event. It is a bit different. Whenever I would tap on Starfleet Peter my game would freeze on my iPad Air 2 but not on my Galaxy phone. I could go in via Al’s and switch skins and send him on a task no problem but as soon as I switched back to Starfleet Peter my game would freeze. I message TC and was told it was a know issue and they were working on it but gave me a few thing to try and trouble shoot but nothing worked. I was so happy when the new event started so this issue would go away but to my dismay it followed me but now no matter what skin I try to use the game freezes on iPad but not on my phone. I have once again messaged TC about this. Have you had any reports from other player having this problem? It is getting extremely annoying! I am using the most up to date version there is. Thanks

I’m going to need a WTD for this event. Which is sad, since I LOVE the theming of this one. But leave it to TinyCo to make what should be fun into a grind. Bunny, I know you’ve said in the past that they have a pretty small staff, but you’d think at least one of them would know some basic math, right? It doesn’t take a degree in math to tell that their drop rates just don’t work. I guess I just don’t understand why the drop rates are so bad for every event, despite how many players they alienate because of them. Anyways, my rant is over. Thanks for running this site! I don’t think I could deal with their special brand of pandering only to premium players without your help!
