With the arrival of new content some characters and buildings in Quahog have tasks to help you earn essential materials and stuff for the Presidential Peter and Barrack Obama, and of course you want to know which ones earn what, how often & how many. Lois = 24hrs/8hrs = 3 balls p/day x2 = 6 money bags p/day
Mort = 24hrs/8hrs = 3 balls p/day x2 = 6 money bags p/day
G sign = 24hrs/4hrs = 6 balls p/day x2 = 12 money bags p/day
That’s a total of 36 money bags p/day… IF you set your alarm.
Or you can buy the balls. So you don’t have to pay to win. You just have to set your alarms and lose a little sleep. 🙂

Thanks for that, but remember factor in they aren’t always drops, so give yourself a little margin for error there. And don’t lose too much sleep, you don’t want to be carrying your shopping in the bags under your eyes like I can, lol. Good luck.

I agree with everyone here and I really hate that the only answer is “just play a different game, or just play and be ok with never getting anything good”. There should be happy medium somewhere between absolutely impossible and spending hundreds of dollars to get the good stuff. Literally, it would take about $50 or more to get even close to getting Obama. I don’t think the authors of this blog understand that (do they just get unlimited free calms to write these blogs that apparently never get back to TinyCo anyway?). I enjoy the game, but Bunny I’m not stupid: me “just finding a different game” isn’t going to break TinyCo’s hearts one fraction of an iota. I would like to continue to play and enjoy the silliness of it, but not under the predatory “buy this or miss out forever” manipulation tactics that Bunny so aptly pointed out. There should be a happy medium, but unfortunately there’s enough suckers out there that keep paying hundreds of dollars and keep the “squeeze every dollar out of these stupid american’s that I possibly can” bus rolling. It sucks, and the worst part is that my only recourse is to give up on 2 years of play and God only knows how much money I’ve spent already. It’s not right! I feel that same frustration from every other “freemium” player here.

I find it kinda of sad when people attack US for being the voice of Players and getting so many changes initiated in the game. Then say that we are so corrupt and just never pay attention. REALLY??!! Have you read the site? EVER??!
If you REALLY have been paying attention to this site, to what we do, on our own time, on our own dime… then you would see THOUSANDS of changes made to the game already, countless numbers of issues fixed, new items added to assist Players experiences… etc etc etc. Attacking US, one of the only sites left still voicing on Players behalf to TinyCo… well… it is just sad. Plain and simple.
We get game frustrations, we get how it causes upset when things don’t go your way, but there is absolutely no reason what so ever to come after US for something upsetting you. None at all.
Instead of attacking, pay attention and actual read what it is I have said since day one. Don’t add words to my mouth. Don’t try to misinterpret me and make me the bad guy. Look at the BIG PICTURE and really see just what it is my words are saying over and over and over and over.
This IS a Challenging game. No matter if you are Freemium or Premium Player. There is ALWAYS a Challenge element in this game. Always will be. Many Players got a ton of items just by playing the last Event. Many previous Events too. However, you can’t just tap and win items. Nope. You MUST work for them. Most Events are laid out so you earn things in progression, not overnight. The game is MEANT to take time. How you spend that time is YOUR choice. What you get is YOUR choice. Many Players here will tell you that have gotten THOUSANDS of items in their Inventories over the years through just basic game play. Note I said in their Inventories. Do they get everything? Probably not unless money was spent at some point, but they do get a lot. Will there always be premium items and elements. Yup. And THAT is the heart of every company out there. They WILL have elements that will pay their bills, employees, legal fees, copyright releases, etc. NO GAME IS FREE EVER. Sorry, but that is the cold hard truth of it. Not a single one. There is always something driving it. Whether it is ads stuffed in there, Premium Currency, or otherwise. Money has to come in. You don’t want to spend it? Then don’t. It is your money.
I say “find another game” for a very specific point, games are meant to be enjoyable. Meant to make YOU happy. If you are not happy, why still play? Seriously. If I hate the taste of anchovies, I am not gonna eat them just out of spite or because I already took a few bites and feel I HAVE to finish what I started. HELL NO! Instead, I will go find something else to enjoy. Something I WANT to eat and that will make me happy to eat.
Many times Players come into this game expecting it to be a “one and done tap tap” type of game. Like Candy Crush for an example. Something you go in once and a while, tap here n there, move on. This is NOT that style of game. Has never been. Never will be. From day one I have stated that in order to get anywhere in this game, you have to PLAY OR PAY. Period. Play countless hours. Check in numerous times a day. Use strategies to get the most out your time. OR… you can Pay and bypass all that work by using your cold hard cash. It will cost you a small fortune however. I know… I have paid many of times just to supply info to this site. From day one this site has ran “in the red”. Since DAY ONE. That means those measly pennies from ads here barely cover a few clams for My ONE game (I have 4 I test with). So how do I do it? I PLAY THE GAME. I have earned countless free clams just by playing daily. Many have. Does TinyCo offer me “unlimited clams”? Hell, I wish!! But that is not the case. All I can say is Costco and iTunes gift cards sales are my bestest friend in the world. If I had unlimited clams, why do you think MANY times I have told players we will not buy something or finish something or unlock Mystery Boxes due to we DON’T want to spend our clams? Why do I constantly say info has to wait til I finish it in my game myself. That includes getting Clams to complete items. If we had all the Clams in the world just handed to us, wouldn’t we spend them without care?
Want an example, look at Russian Tigger. She has played using strategy and tips from this very site for a very long time. She has been able to get FREE Clams to help pay for some Premium items she wanted. Just look at her post about the THOUSANDS of Clams she got by doing what I keep saying… just play. Does she get everything offered? Nope. Does she still enjoy the game? Yes. Do things in the game upset her AND me? Yes. But we are not going to go all pitchfork and torches because of it. Instead we approach each item head on and decide if it something that can be changed. I have THOUSANDS of emails to TinyCo about game changes I feel would help or suggestions from Players. YES, they read our site. A LOT. Just because someone says “DO THIS NOW” though does not mean they will. Fact and point taught in basic Business and pretty much general knowledge around the world, people will not say a word unless they are angry. For every 1 angry voice, there are usually hundreds that are just content and happy. It is all about YOUR attitude and how you approach game play. Do YOU feel like communicating with someone yelling and swearing at YOU? Do you sit there and smile and let them scream, call you names, and accuse you? There is ALWAYS a better way to approach things. Just because MY site is not a Lynch Mob every day does not mean I do not care. To even suggest so, I find EXTREMELY insulting.
Instead of being upset with me how EVERY SINGLE CORPORATION ALIVE works, go find a way to make those Corporations get the money they use their “impulse buys” to keep at times their business up and running. SOMEONE has to pay the bills. I am not the Corporations. I am my own entity. Go tell Apple to stop making new products and charging people a fortune for them. Do people really need them? No. But will people still go stand in line for hours and pay hard money to get it just to say they have it? Yup. Year after year. So are we “suckers” or are we giving in to the “I NEED ALL THE THINGS” attitude and just paying blindly when there is always another way to do things without such high costs?
This world is turning more and more everyday into a “I HAVE TO HAVE EVERY SINGLE THING” mentality and it is sad. If you want to enjoy something, change the way you think and game. You do not have to have everything. Why would you want to? Yah a Character may look cool and all, but then what? Event ends and they go in permanent storage in Tan Lines? Or dumped into Inventory? How about all those THOUSANDS Buildings and Decorations? If I put every single one of them out on my play field, my game would crash from Memory drain and I wouldn’t even be able to play. What is the point of that? There is a thing as TOO much. Sorry, but that is a fact.
Short story long. STOP ATTACKING US… PERIOD. We are not TinyCo’s doormat to be walked all over. It is not MY game. It is theirs. If those helping continually get abused, they may stop helping… then what? Play the game for the sheer enjoyment of playing. Play the game knowing it is OK if you do not get it all. Go in setting small goals, not with an attitude of “I better get every last thing or else”. No one will be happy like that. If none of this seems like something you want to do… then walk away. Done. Why allow something meant to be fun piss you off so badly? What good does that do? Why beat up and bully complete strangers that do NOT own the game and are trying to help? Where does that get you? What good does it do anyone? In the end finding another game WILL impact Companies. If their numbers drop enough, if no one supports their business anymore, then the business closes.

I will NOT allow myself and ESPECIALLY my Helpers to be knocked down, kicked, abused, and bullied any further for HELPING other Players on My Site. Work to make a change. Except reality for what it is. Stop laying blame on others or causing hurt to them for reaching out a helping hand. It is uncalled for.

It’s a crying shame that you are put in a position of feeling the need to justify yourself Bunny! I find the information provided by this site (& TSTO.Addicts) invaluable and probably wouldn’t have continued playing FGTQFS had I never stumbled across this site.

WOW! Impressive! I’m sure the personal attacks can wear on you over time. That was worthy of an Academy Award. (I’m not being sarcastic). I wish that everyone that visits both of your sites(I’m assuming that you only have the two) would read that before commencing on a hate rant directed toward the contributors. Full disclosure, I’ve left some grumpy messages on this site, but only about game content. I appreciate all the effort that all of you put into the sites, you’ve pointed me in the right direction more times than you will ever know. Thank you for all the help you have provided me over the years. And again, BRAVO!🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷. Sorry, that’s the closest I could find to a bouquet of roses emoji on my tablet.

Wow. You spend your own money to find out all of the invaluable details to wind ones way through these events? My hat is off to you guys. You are amazing.
Out of curiosity, how much does it cost to do this with an event like this one?

I have an entire box, like a big box, of nothing but used up $25 or more iTunes gift cards (mostly purchased from Costco) from all the Clams we have spent on the game. It got REALLY hard there for a while as both Myself and Alissa were trying to keep up. At a cost of 10 thousand to 20 thousand Clams a large event… it added up REALLY fast. We were pulling money so fast. I did speak with TinyCo and after a long while and about a year of back and forth with them, they did offer SOME Clams to help us along the way so our out of pocket wasn’t so extreme. That courtesy however still only goes to one game and one game only. So we still bought up and still to this day I buy up Clams for the alternate test games whenever needed along with any refills I need in the the main testing game.
I am VERY frugal with my Clams. I still try to earn as many free ones as I can too from Clam building payout purchases, Ollie land visits, watching ads, etc etc etc. It has lessened the blow, but there is still a cost to pay. I will try and seek the “cheapest” Clam cost to speeding through things and focus on that. It takes a lil bit, but worth it if it saves me 1000s of Clams. Being a premium is NOT cheap to get everything the game has to offer or get close to it. I prefer my Freemium game and not spending a penny. Just earning what I can for free each Event in it and letting the rest go.
When I fell very ill last year and as I continue to struggle to mend this year (going to be another year if all goes well before I am more recouped) I no longer had the job that helped pay for the extras nor the additional savings. All was depleted. Hence why I went back and forth so often about shutting the site down as I felt I could not upkeep it. Through help from Lotty, Russian Tigger, and other amazing Readers that reached out… I have been still able to remain a float. My first and foremost goal of this site is helping others. It has always been my goal in life. There is a ton of help now on TSTO and it was only me here. My health and strength has made it so I am physically unable to do as much as I can for the lengths I did prior. So… I had not choice but to step back. Slow down on the amount of work I did on both sites.
I still try to do behind scenes items at TSTO like contests, artwork, etc… but it is really a difficult process to run these sites. A LOT of personal time is needed to keep them a float and up to date.
Short story long, I will continue to do this as long as my health still allows me. I love being an “Addict” and all the people I have met along the way here on Family Guy Addicts as well as TSTO. Some truly amazing people I miss not being around for as much as I used to. But time came for me to… for the first time in my life I can think of… to put ME first and focus on ME. Wasn’t an option. I will still spend money as I can to help others, to give to others, to do all I can for others and continue with my “Pay It Forward” Mentality. I will do this til I can’t no more. I hope that moment is not soon. I hope I still have a lot more time to Pay It Forward. I am not ready to throw in my towel so to speak yet. 🙂

Is it just me or does this seem like an extraordinary amount to do in only a few days, especially when you consider drop times, is this event even doable for a free player factoring in even say 6 hours for sleep a day? Just wondering if I should even bother.

For this to be such a short timeframe, they really failed on the run around times of the characters to get stuff. Love the buildings but it doesn’t look like I’ll be able to get them all in only a couple days with everything taking 4, 8, and 10 hours!

Play through things for a day or two then judge how the event is going. That’s what I’m doing.

Hi, usually after every big event I delete the app and install it again. Usually Apple ask me if I want to maintain the data on the Game Center and when I open the the family guy app all the data was there and the game only download the building skin. But today when I opened the game it starts from the beginning. Help me please
I have communicated to tinyco the long string of number and letter and also the one that I think is my user id. Do you know if there is any chance to get my data back?
Tinyco never reply me back in the past (maybe because I’m not signed up with a email.

Just curious….is there any purpose in deleting the game after an event?! Sounds like it would just increase the risk factor of losing content? I’ve never deleted the app and always seem to get the new events on time…? To each his own, just wondering if there’s a reason behind the delete strategy??

same as guy above, not to do a full out WTD but why would a 1 week timed event not have common drops (mostly uncommon and rare) and then very few options of characters with 8 hour tasks?! there is a difference between playing non stop and working hard to achieve success (which I’m fine with) vs playing for almost a full day and already knowing this will be impossible to achieve and frustrating.
does TinyCo not read/see player feedback on here? a big majority of players feel the same (as posted on these boards over last few months) yet all events end up the same way. Not trying to be negative, just a serious question regarding constructive feedback for TinyCo

To be honest and blunt… just play. Don’t let the “labels” worry you. That’s what companies hope for. Panic creates impulse buys. Heck, look at cash registers. Nothing but impulse buys at checkout. Giving you the feeling you HAVE to have something. That you better find a way to get it NOW or you’ll regret it. That’s why I always say “Just play the game for the sake of playing. See where it takes you.”
Myself, I found the “Rare” items dropped super fast. Shockingly fast. More at a Common rate. Point is the drops vary. Always have, always will. In the end it is their game. They still make changes to help players or add other elements. But it is meant to be a challenging style game. No it’s not for everyone… but it’s their style. Hence why I tell gamers if it’s not for them, find something that is. Simplistic will never be a part of this game nor any other TinyCo game I’ve seen. All have had “Challenge” elements involved.
Just giving my honest perspective from someone who’s been a gamer her entire life and played multitudes of games. Also someone whos played since BETA. Not all style games are for all players. Do what makes you happy. Find a game that is YOUR style.

I hate that there isn’t a way to get a list of the people dropping wrecking balls in the game.
Had to search through the resort for Mort since there isn’t a place to hit a green Go button like in Al’s.

Having an 8 hour task for uncommon items really sucks… I got a grand total of 2 wrecking balls today (over 16 hours). What also sucks is that my buildings and characters are getting trapped when a Griffin sign appears on the building they are on (they don’t get released until cleared) or they are prevented from going on a task if that building is similarly blocked. Sorry for the early WTD… I’m not liking this event already grrrrr

Put out as many buildings as you can. The more there are, the less likely a G sign will be on one that you need. My town has signs everywhere, but they are almost all on buildings no one goes to for any tasks.

I didn’t realize that Lois and Mort both had eight (8) hours in their tasks to get wrecking balls. I thought they both had four (4) like Chris.
But, we don’t we get a ball every four (4) hours from the Wrecking Ball machines too? That’s where my first one came from.
So that gives us the possibility of two (2) or more every four (4) hours; depending on the Lois, Mort drop timing.

If ever you’re having trouble finding a certain character in play, just visit their FaceSpace page.
When you’re on a particular profile page, just X out and the game will take you straight to where that character is – wherever s/he is. I find this very useful when I accidentally have them perform an animated task when they’re walking in between buildings and can’t see them without moving everything about.
