Showoff’s Back – Back Again!!! Halloweentown Showoff

Hey there fellow Quahog dwellers, thought I’d take a minute or two away from following the yellow brick road  to Showoff a few of our fellow addicts towns.

image

Firstly I’d like to say a massive thank-you, a gigantic, humongous, monster of a thank-you even, to the fellow addicts that took the time to screenshot and share images of your towns. I’m hoping that’s something we can build on by bringing back the odd Showoff post, and you should know enough about me by now that if I’m involved, it will be odd, very, very odd, lol. I know memory issues are making it hard for many of you to Showoff your towns, but I hope you enjoy seeing a few of your fellow addicts efforts.

Before I shut-up and get on with things,  I want to set you a new task, yes this blog now comes with homework, but hey unlike school it’s optional, lol.

The task is an easy one, inspired by the recent opening up of the water area, I’d like to do a Shoreline Showoff, this of course can include the Tan Lines Resort. I promise I’ll show you mine if you show me yours. This task should choose to accept it will be open for submissions until 8th December. Please email your screenshots to familyguyaddicts@gmail.com along with your profile name and I will show them off next month.

If you want a guide to taking screenshots, look no further: Screenshots 101 ~ Click Here.

But now on with the Showoff and as promised I’ll show you mine. Please be gentle with me as I’m still rebuilding my town after a nuclear incident. But here’s two of my spooky inspirations.

Firstly there’s my Pyschopaths Playground, it’s where serial killers and monsters hang out when they’re off duty. It sits in an ideal location as it’s the house by the cemetery and believe me you wouldn’t want to take a wrong turn and end up here.

And secondly, right next door to my Pyschopaths Playground is the Death estate, this is where the Death family plant dead bodies in their front garden like the rest of us plant flowers. And if you’re wondering why there’s a flock of sheep hanging around I’ll tell you at the end of the post.

Anyway that’s enough about my town, now here’s some of your fellow Addicts submissions.

I think the situating of the Ghodtbusters headquarters is spot on in this town, lol.

Not sure I’d want to wander into this town considering the amount of unmarked graves there are. Is where Addicts go to disappear?

I’m liking what looks like a little private cemetery in this town, obviously waiting for someone like Buzz Killington or Billionaire Peter to pass over.

Frankenstein is either sleeping on the job or has to take the prize for the most unusual left luggage I’ve ever seen.

A worker walking on water. Just plain spooky!!!

A nice little place where you can rest in peace, but again note the nearby location of the Ghostbusters HQ.

Addict: Unknown, would you care to identify yourself in the comments, lol.
What can I say but the very thought of all that stuff would scare most of our devices into a state of permanent crashing. What on earth are you playing on, a NASA mega memory computer. Oh and for the readers info this Addict calls their town ÜBE – Ugly But Efficient.

Oh and I said I’d explain the sheep, well they were inspired by a visit I made to Choil Chorill, here they don’t employ a gardener to keep the grass short, instead a flock of sheep live in the graveyard doing the job for free.

So there you have it, The Halloweentown Showoff, hope you’ll join us or even join in next time. Oh and don’t forget to vote in the penultimate round of our Family Guy – Most Wanted poll, you’ll find it HERE.

    • Yes of course, just email it in and put a message telling Bunny it’s for Russian Tigger’s Showoff. Thanks, looking forward to seeing it 😀

  2. I have unlocked all of the space possible. I use every millimeter as efficiently as possible to keep it maximized with as many buildings as will fit. The only vacant space I have is on the water. I wish TinyCo would make more buildings that float — like houseboats.

  3. I suggested getting a sheep to cut my lawn, but a veterinarian friend said a goat would be more efficient….

    • Thank you for confirming that, I’ve always wanted a goat now I’ve got scientific proof of its efficiency. Just hope it gets along with the chickens I also want, lol.

  4. Oh, not fair, Tigger, being a total history buff in the mid-Atlantic states up through my present domain (really upstate New York), I have been fortunate enough to have traveled throughout England several times and have soaked up the history in your country and it’s really magical…the Tower of London is incredible…

    • I travel down to England a fair bit myself. And agree The Tower of London is a sight to behold, but for me if there is nothing in the UK, city wise, to beat a wander through Edinburgh’s Old Town.

I’ve got to agree with RT on this one. Edinburgh > London. In general in the UK though it is great how easy it is to visit a historic site; love looking around castles and sometimes palaces & halls.

  5. “Ugly But Efficient”? Just how efficient could it possibly be (with that much stuff out)? 🤔

  6. Thanks for sharing everyone. This is fun. I tried sending from my Comcast account but couldn’t seem to figure out how to, but managed to send now from the google account. I included water, grave, and some favs, since I missed sending in before, just trying to figure out how to do this! Screenshots are a good idea to make and keep, since we change the towns so often. Btw, I want a couple of sheep for my yard, sure beats having to cut the grass.

    • Thanks, I’ll look forward to seeing them. And sheep are the future, or possibly a goat, I’ve always wanted a little goat, lol.

  7. I’m the ugly addict. LOL

I like the efficient German Ü in ÜBE.

Not that I’m closing in on 50 million coins.

Yet still nothing to do with them.

We need to lobby TinyCo to let us buy some old character like Will Riker for a million coins each.

Even some 1 million coin mystery boxes would be cool.

    • How about 1,000,000 coins to convert a costume into a separate character? I often wish i could inventory costumes so I don’t have to scroll past so many to get the one I want, but converting them to characters would help fill Tan Lines, instead, while putting massive amounts of largely useless coins to good use . 🙂

      • This!! Yes, yes, yes! 100%!

Kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

        For the win!

        TinyCo, are you listening?

I’m sure we’ve all thought this many times!!

    • I like your town idea! $40 million coins is amazing! And I think having a million dollar/coin mystery box would be a very cool option!! (Come on TinyCo!!)lol.

I wonder if you’ve opened all your space? And if so, do they ever add more space areas you can unlock?
