We are still hard at work trying to get ALL Android Players back into the game. Thanks to one of our Amazing readers here, many were able to get back in. YOUR help and input really does go a long way in this game.

I know that you Android Addicts locked out are really being pushed to the limits and we completely get it. Feel free to use our What The Deuce post to vent if you need it. That is what it is there for. Just please be respectful and keep it off our helpful posts, like this one. 😉

Otherwise I wanted to put together a post to try and help all you Android Users still locked out while TinyCo attempts to recreate the issue in house so the triggers of the cause can be found and patched. So please take a look below and some helpful tips you’re welcome to try if you would like.

UPDATE 7/11: Morning all… so the “issue” last night was new and isolated quick. Not the same as the other two they’re still trying to track that hit around Mobsters. So most should be right back in.

For everyone else still locked out, please keep posting the answers here if you have not already. To me, the core cause seems possibly related to Android Updates (like within Lollipop and the actual 5.2 update). Will keep working with TinyCo and our readers here to track it til we find the trigger. Thanks so much for your help and answers. I really appreciate it. 🙂

All hands on deck trying to get this Android Crash Issues narrowed and need your help!! I need LOTS of info as fast as possible. Post all your answers here.

First up… If you live in the San Francisco Bay area, have the issue, can take a lil trip  (Uber n snacks covered), and want to help PERSONALLY fix the issue… I need you to email me ASAP. AGAIN THIS EMAIL IS ONLY PLAYERS IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA. YOU’VE GOT TO BE WITHIN TINYCO’S RANGE. 🙂

Also, some questions we are asking affected users:
  1. When did this begin?
    1. I know some have answered many times, but we see players reporting it right after Mobsters ended, along with some who have been locked out for longer. We are trying to see if this is two different issues.
  2. What region do they live in?
    1. State of the US, country if outside the US.
    2. We find that sometimes, rarely, this is related to a specific carrier or region.
  3. What carrier do they use?
    1. ATT, Verizon, just wifi, etc
  4. Can they log on using their account on a DIFFERENT android device?
    1. We know logging on iOS fixes it. Does another Android device?

 

So let’s work together to find out just WHY this is impacting individual Android Users and get it taken care of so we can all get back to having fun!!

Mobsters Week 5 “Glitch” Report

UPDATE 3:50PM EST: See the different sections below for some updates. 

 

FYI: Myself and Alissa currently are NOT able to get into the game on our Android Devices. It just crashes. It has been reported. Will update if we hear anything back as it seems to be spreading. 

It seems the crashing was originally linked to only a few Android Devices over the weekend, but as you can see… it is spreading. I am on GS4, and Alissa is on GS6. Both are unable to access the game. 

UPDATE 7/6 2:55PM EST: I am now able to get back into my Android Device. Let us know if you can too. (Alissa is still down)

I was able to get back into my device after using an iOS device to go in and tap on a bunch of items. Exited the game. Then went by to my Android device and got right in. 

p.s. Alissa tried my shortcut of using an iOS device, it gave her access to her game too.

Tuba & Truck Changes!!

UPDATE 6/25: Got Clarification back from TinyCo on the Purple Trucks. The Purple Trucks will STOP showing up in your town once you trigger two specific spots. Good to be a Gangster Part 1 & COMPLETED Rise to the Top. (So the basically they will not go away until you don’t need them anymore… same for the Materials they drop.)

So if YOU stopped seeing them in your town, it is due to you completed the need for them. So use your Wiseguys for Fort Nox or Raids (if required) from now on. No worries on Cookies, they have already items in place that will still bring you Cookies to the game through OTHER methods. Ones already active now and coming soon. 🙂

TinyCo has put in a change within the game to help everyone get Cleveland Jr and to correct those illusive Cookie Trucks that went missing. (I still think those Rogue Firetrucks ate them all. I mean they DO taste like Cookies. Om Nom Nom Nom.)

TUBAS ALWAYS DROPPING

You will now find that the Tubas will ALWAYS drop for Cleveland Jr from the following actions.

Chris: Eat Cookies, 2hrs

Quagmire: Ogle Lois, 2hrs

Jerome: Distract Pit Boss, 2hrs

 

You should have no problem at all now getting those Tubas to drop.

 

COOKIE TRUCKS RETURNED

Gold Cookie Delivery Truck Gurl Scout Cookie Truck

Maybe a inside job from the Twinkie Factory, maybe jealous Keebler Elves, either way those Cookie Trucks should be back up and running in your games now.

 

FYI: On the Purple Cookie Trucks, Changes dropped with the Tubas pulled. Coins, Cookies, Mob Rep, (and Materials if needed) will now alternate. So you will see a change in drops as they rotate around. 

On the Gold Trucks, they never spawned as Fast as the Purple Trucks so they may take a lil bit to return. If you do not see them within 24hrs of these changes going into effect, please report it to them. 

 

Two quick “fixes” to the game and you should be all set now. How are they working in your game? On easy street to get Jr now? Seeing those Cookie Trucks Again? Let us know.

iOS Update & Android Update Coming!

Hey there Mafioso!

Bouncing by to give a bit of Clarification for Players on the latest Updates.

Green Apple

iOS now has an Update 1.9.5 in the Apple Market to install to your devices. So for those that wanted to have access to their iOS devices, you can go download the install.

Here is the catch though… there is also ANOTHER Patch for Android coming. It is not in the Google Play Market just yet. So, you will now be back to a similar situation as before. 

If you Update iOS, you will NOT be able to access your game on any Android Devices nor visit any Android Neighbors in your game. You will have to now wait until Android gets its next Update too. (Currently Android is on Version 1.9.1)

So keep an eye out and decided WHAT device you want to play the game on and know by Updating one, you will be disabling the other until it’s Update.
