Hey There Clammers!

With the introduction of Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff there’s a whole cast of characters to unlock in your rebuild effort of Quahog!  These overview posts are designed to give you a quick breakdown of the characters, how you unlock them & their tasks so you can play FGG more efficiently!

Of course there will be those players who don’t want to know the details of unlocking the characters so for that reason we’ll post all of the details below the fold.  So if you don’t like to know what’s going on before you play don’t click read more…CAUTION SPOILERS AHEAD

The next character we’ll tackle on our character overview is Joe Swanson. Joe is one of the characters you’ll unlock in the School District, and the 9th or 10th character you’ll unlock in TQFS (Depending on if you unlock him or Herbert first).  So let’s break down Joe and his tasks…..

Punk Rock Chris Walkthrough

Hello There Clammers!

How are YOU enjoying the Family Guy game?  You working your way through the Districts or are you still playing 6s Leap Frog with Peter & Chris while Bonnie sells her goods?  (see tips for getting started if you’re confused by this reference!) Are you liking the change to more characters with 1minute tasks?

Well one of the cool features of the Quest for Stuff is the ability to unlock additional costumes for some characters.  These costumes are not only hilarious to look at but they provide an entirely different set of tasks for the character, as well as unlocking their own questlines…filled with hilarious dialogue!

One costume you’ll earn on your Quest for Stuff is Goth Chris, a punk rocker costume for Chris.  Somewhere between the School District & Pirate’s Cove the quest to unlock Speedo Quagmire will pop up for you!  So let’s take you through the steps to unlock this rocker costume for Quahog’s “special” one..

Circus is Still In Town….

UPDATE 1:35pm EST: We just received word direct from TinyCo that this will end at 3pm EST (noon PST).  So in just under 1.5hrs from now.  So if you have any last minute collecting to do get those clowns while you still can.  

Good Morning Clammers,

Well after a tense weekend and the constant signs of Ends Sunday I fully expected to wake up this morning to a Clown Free Quahog…..however this is not the case.  It looks like the circus is still in town!

So if you haven’t yet unlocked Pee Pants you still have time to get those last minute clowns to drop pies and horns!

Now…BEFORE you guys start to yell at me (cause I know there are some of you that spent clams to get that last little bit because you were afraid you wouldn’t get it)…we FULLY expected (just like you) for this event to end last night (the poll question post was written ahead of time and scheduled for this morning).  It looks like this was something that was extended at the last minute, perhaps because of your feedback on the Good, the Bad and the Not So Pretty.  Things like this are why we always encourage you NOT to spend clams to speed things up.  You never know what might happen with events like this.

At this point I don’t know when they will disappear.  I’m working on trying to find that out, but keep in mind I’m on the East Coast of the US and TinyCo is on the West Coast (3hrs behind) so it might take a little bit for an answer to come back as it’s not even 6am there yet.  So right now all I can say is just keep playing and see what happens.

What Happens After I’ve Collected the 10 Clowns?

Hello There Clammers!

Seeing lots of questions pop up in the comments and on Facebook about what happens once you’ve cleared the 10 required clowns for the task with Chris.  Do the clowns stop appearing?  Will you be able to earn all the required horns and pies?  Do you have to buy premium?  Why is TinyCo Forcing you to spend clams?  And my personal favorite…Why Don’t they give us MORE free clams?!  So let’s take a look at all of these and more….I promise it’s not as bad as it may seem.

Rambo Lois Brings Out the Big Guns

Hello There Clammers!
