So we’ve got a new game upon us and that means it’s time to add friends to our little Quahog World! So here’s you’re “Add Me” thread!
So now…hit up this post with your ID’s and Add Me Requests! Who wants to be first?
Note of caution: Currently the ONLY way to add friends in this game is via Facebook (meaning your friends have to have the game and use Facebook to login too). We caution you to be careful how much real life information you give out. You may want to consider making a Facebook account JUST for this game and not putting any personal information on it. And yes, we’re not fans of the Facebook only rule right now. Hopefully it will change soon! You guys are on your own with how much real life information you want to share with others when it comes to adding friends…

I tried to add pretty much all of you here and could not find many of you via your Email addresses. I don’t know if that’s your error or mine. It’s much, much easier to add friends via a direct FB link… at least for me, it is. Thanks, all! 🙂

Friends have to be added through your Facebook first. And then when you add them and sync Facebook to the game they should appear as being in the game. If this doesn’t work or you know you definitely have friends that play the game and they aren’t showing up…try contacting TinyCo through the game. You can see the steps in how to do that here. 🙂
PS Sorry..I saw your other comment from earlier this morning. Pulling solo comment duty (plus work) on both blogs today so I’m just a little slower at responding today. 🙂

Mmmmm… I thought making a Facebook account Just for this would be a good idea. However, my account just got blocked by facebook because they won’t want people to have 2 accounts. And apparently its in their rules you may not add people you don’t know just for getting neighbours in games…
So, we now really need a new friendssystem..

It only allows you if you use alternate emails and contact info. Not same. I had to create another gmail account just for mine. That way the information is not the same across the board. Hope that helps.
In the meantime, they are looking into other options of friend links.

Oh great… now when I login I get a level up for Bruce that I can’t get out of =\ I’ve tried on my iPhone, iPad and have uninstalled the game and re-downloaded. Nothing works 😦 Hopefully it somehow manages to clear itself up. This happened almost immediately adding friends, so a bit of warning to ya’ll.

New game issues, they will work them out. All games go through it sadly, but I have high hopes with the great team they have over at TinyCo working on issues. They’re amazing to work with.
