Hey there Clammers, Bunny hopping on by to make a cute lil cozy spot in our new lil world where you can shout at me…errr…well…comment to me anyway of the big (or lil) glitches and hiccups you are running into with your game. We are bound to run into a few as the game gets its bearings. No worries, they eventually get ironed out and patched up.
So here is a place that you can come to and notify us when you run into troubles with a glitch. This way I can pick up on a trend and let TinyCo know right away so they can work on correcting it. They are quite fantastic to work and communicate with. Very helpful to their players.
So tell me your problems and try to include a few key points like the device you play on and/or what was happening when you experienced the Glitch.
As always, you can use the great design of the game to get further help should you need it. Just a tap of the Menu and go into Help & Support.
UPDATE 4-13 6:45om EST:
TinyCo has found the source of the timing issue with the characters (they start a task and after being left for hours, still have same time remaining as when you left the game.) Update to resolve the issue is in the process along with Bruce Glitch.
Here are a few suggestions from TinyCo to resolve issue in the meantime.
In some cases, if you log off before a character begins an action, the game will not start the action. You will know an action has started when you see the countdown timer appear.When you assign actions, wait until the action countdown timer begins. Once the action is going, it is safe to log off.To be extra sure, we recommend leaving the game running for a minute or two before exiting.
For those of you with the “Bruce” screen continuously popping up, please go to our Bruce Glitch Thread and follow the instructions there. I will continue to update it as I get response back.

It isn’t a glitch, but I am wondering how they can ask us to do this Stewie quest that ends Tuesday and expect us to be able to get to the third tea party with the characters on 4 hour tasks? There are only 6 four hour periods in 24 hours. At best you can get 3 for each of those blocks of time, but you do not always get three. That total is 18… *shrugs* There is no way to complete it without paying clams. I know some people have 10’s of thousands of clams through cheating the game, but I do not play that way. It is frustrating! I know I’ll never get Rupert because I never get any of the good stuff with this app. Whew, thanks for listening to my rant.

No problem for the rant…lol. You’re right, you can’t get all three Tea Parties each day because it takes time to collect and reassign each character. The event is set up more in this way, 2 tries for strictly freemium players and three tries for those who wish to spend clams. Everyone has the same odds of winning Rupert with the first couple of boxes. Many freemium players have won him within their first few tries. I’m a premium player and have opened 4 boxes, yet still seek Rupert. Just collect toys, open as many boxes as you can and see what happens. Never say never. 😉

Different characters trigger different steps in the quest. Make sure you finished all the other ones before it and have the character available.

Many times a server connect issue is a localized problem. Sometimes caused by a temporary weak Wi-Fi or cellular connection. Or cable/DSL problem. Only TinyCo will be able to check for sure which end of the connection is faltering. When you get into the game, send an in game message and give them the device type, when it began, type of internet connection you use, your location…the more details the better. If you are locked out of the game….send same info to help@tinyco.com

Have you already uninstalled/reinstalled? (Make sure you have a email or Facebook account created for your game)…other than that, just be patient, TinyCo is great to work with…it might take a few days for them to get back to you, but I’m confident they will get you back into the fun again.

I was working on getting the jewels for Carter and Stewie…I got all 15 for Carter and had 15 toward Stewie’s 30 jewels. All of a sudden, the jewel count for Stewie went back to ZERO!
This same issue happened to me earlier in the game a few months ago with another item, but I can’t remember what it was.
Any ideas on how to get Stewie’s 15 jewels back??

So you had 30 total jewels or 15 total? What happens is when you collect the items they go towards both characters that need them, until you collect on them. In other words you need 45 jewels to unlock both stewie and carter. As you collect each one it’ll count towards both, but once you collect on carter the stewie ones will wipe out. Since you only had 15 to start with. Make sense?

Someone mentioned it in another thread, but I’m also getting the cut off Stewie voice-overs. Hard restart had no obvious effect. I sent in a report via the app.

When getting headbands for Anime Peter, the bar that shows up on the upper right corner of the screen was showing full but when I view the costume and what I need to do for it still, it says I have 0/3 collected. Why aren’t they registering?

Do you have another character that needs them too? Or did you use them to claim for another character or unlocking? They gather to ALL characters involved with the item and start subtracting from that overall total once used. So if you have say Lois and Anime Peter needing them, once you unlock Lois…it takes all the headbands she will need. So only what remains is left.
Basically if you have 3 characters needing 3 each of the same item, you need 9 total of that item. If you earn 4 and use 3 to unlock one, it will only show one remaining.
If this is NOT the case for you. And you ONLY have Anime Peter collecting…contact TinyCo through your game menu, help and settings, and they can check if there is an issue.

I tried to sync my iPhone and my iPad together to play the game, but now I’ve lost all character voices beyond those that were already unlocked on my phone – Peter and Chris. I’ve tried hard resetting my app, but nothing has worked so far. I even logged into my account after I deleted the game and added it back, but it just made me lose even more sounds from buildings and decorations. Does anybody else have this problem and/or know the fix?

The lose of sound glitch is well known with TinyCo. Send an in-game message with all the details so they can look inside your game.

Are the “Deep Fried Everything” and “Stars and Skates” actions disappearing/reappearing for anyone else? They were gone after the end of the July 4th event, and I assumed they were gone forever. But then they reappeared for a day before disappearing again.

Anyone else having trouble getting into the game? I haven’t been able to have game load properly for over a week. I can get to opening splash screen, status bar loads to “best” in the message about using headphones, then game crashes. Every time. I tried the hard close it’s still won’t go away it keeps popping up and then it shuts the phone down after a few times of tapping OK I just don’t know what the issue is or if anyone else is having this problem and what they did to fix it it’s been uninstalled and reinstalled before and it kept doing the same thing

The game updated. After that, everytime I tried to play it would display a Consuela data error that says “there was a problem loading the game. Please try again”. I’m afraid to uninstall and reinstall because I refuse to start from the beginning. I am pretty far in.

I was very close to getting Cleveland’s 80’s costume when the event ended. Now the costume is gone, I understand that. But I can still do tasks to earn stuff toward it, everything except earn moon idols obviously. It’s the same on mine and my wife’s Galaxy Tab 3.

Im having problems with rambo lois I cant get any head bands ive been working on this quest for a few mths now before king butt n the mummys. Now all other quests require rambo lois and I cant create her please help ive been doing quests for the head bands n nothing n the arcade doesnt give them either

Using an iPad mini retina. I brought some clams but the game crashed. I have since received my money back but now the app won’t load, it gets to the first cutscenes as if I have never played before then closes. Tried rebooting and reinstalling but no joy.

My error message reads when consuela pops up and says game error…

so thats the error message. this pops up when i tap on king butt. then the error message pops up and the game reboots. Also my timer on king butts throne has disappeared. i have already completed defeating him twice. already collected the three red shots and the 8 purple shots and now my count of idol percentage boots has gone back to zero. also when i tap on king butts throne it says king butt will return soon but my timer has froze on 5min 45sec and had been like this for almost two days now.
someone please tell me whats going on since the kingdom of the full moon event ends soon and i still haven’t achieved 100,000 idols..

I was having problems with inventory, but I think I’ve figured it out. The game won’t let me buy more fences if I have them in inventory, it just pulls them out of inventory. It’s still annoying. I have a shortage of space. I’d have to clear other stuff out before I could accumulate enough fences. Then stick them all back in inventory.

Hello I don’t have a facebook acct and probably won’t get one is it possible to save my game to my email even though I didnt save it in the beginning because im at level 38 or 39 and I don’t want to lose everything if something happens or if I upgrade to a new phone PLEASE let me know ive spent sooo many hours on this game and over 50 bucks I play it evry couple hrs like i do Simpsons :-D:O

Don’t buy a bunch of lava fences and stick them into inventory because they will disappear once they hit 15-20. I put over 20 in. I now have 5. Same thing happened to the circus fences. Despite notification, TinyCo still hasn’t fixed it.
Why would I want to quest for stuff, if my stuff is going to disappear????

Somehow my FB account with all my friends is at level 2-and my other FB account with no friends is at level 30something-I want to delete my first one–this happened during the last FB update-my first account I went through FB and started playing the game-then I installed the app and have played the ought the app ever since-it’s connected to Game Center-I just want to be able to visit my old friends

When I tried to open the app today, a message popped up that said I should update the game so it was at its best. So I went to the App Store, but I didn’t need to update it… It was the best version it could be. So I went back to the TQFS and the message popped up again. Once again I went to the App Store but the message just won’t go away. I cannot see my Quahog and my characters are not doing actions, so I’m just wasting time in the event right now. I was supposed to get the ‘man of danger’ or whatever today, but I guess I’m not going to. Please help!

If your game is saved to an email or Facebook, try n unistall reinstall. See if that triggers it. (A couple updates are in game, not in market for event and should auto load to game). If basic ts doesn’t work, contact TinyCo.

Sometimes I have to have a character do a task more than once before I get the reward. For example, I’ve had Lois do jiu jitsu over 10 times and it doesn’t read it. It still says I need to do it to unlock anime peter.

I believe she’s trying to get headbands. They don’t drop very often, so what she’s seeing is correct behavior.

If headbands drop issue, yes common. If just need her to complete the task to unlock (like Tricia needs task completed to unlock) then TinyCo is next step if ts doesn’t help.

I see you restarted a few times, did you completely wipe out the game? Uninstall it. Restart device to clear any remaining info. Once powered up, reinstall game. Play new game (don’t worry its a new game) to point menu unlocks when Chris holds antenna for Peter. Then go into the menu, account info, sign in as someone else…at this point enter the email or Facebook you linked your account and it should reload your actual saved game.
I’ve had to do this several times myself switching through multiple games. As long as your account is linked to a Facebook or email you’ll be fine. Beyond this…only TinyCo can help. We don’t have access to anyone’s games but our own.

After the update yesterday I played fgtqfs on my iPod then I decided I wanted a better look at my town, so I used the households android tablet. After that my dad brought it to work so I went back on my apple. That was when I discovered that it would not let me in, it continued to say update require when there is nothing to update! This is severely affecting my booty haul and my progress to unlock 80’s Cleveland. Please help!

Oh no! I have a feeling I know what the issue is too. Android is (i believe) at a slightly higher update point than iOS, thus causing the update issue. This is what happens when they release updates for different devices at different times. Unfortunately, at the moment, there’s nothing we can do to bring the game back on your iOS device. However, I will send the director an email and let him about that this is a MAJOR issue.

Hi guys,
So I got a new tablet and found out that after the tutorial, you can sync your old game to your new device via Facebook. I did this and all was well until I noticed something. Many of the noises are not present. The music plays but the only characters that actually talk are the ones that I unlocked before I synced my device ( Bonnie Peter Chris) the rest make no sounds at all even when you click them. I have tried rebooting, reinstalling and turning the sound on and off. Is this a common glitch and can it be fixed? My old device was a HP slate 7 and my new one is an asus one note 8

It’s a common glitch TinyCo is aware of. They’re working to restore sound, it’s only out on some devices.

Keep in mind, if you messaged them yesterday it was Sunday….so they have a smaller tech team on the weekends. Also, a lot of the techs spent the weekend working on repairing the Mummy Glitch issue for players, so they’re a bit behind.
Try sending them the info again today (squeaky wheel gets the grease) and see if they respond.

A few reports of it. If you’ve hard closed the app and done the uninstall and reinstall process the next course of action is to contact TinyCo. It’s most likely a direct problem with your game and something between your device and there system is triggering it to crash. They’ll have to go into it and repair it. If you check out this post you’ll see the email to contact TinyCo…

I downloaded the app on my iPhone and even though it logged me in it has me starting from scratch. If I reinstall it on my ipad will it remember me?

Usually if you have to uninstall/reinstall…it may kick back to the start screens. If it does, just play it through real quick til you get the Menu open in the lower left. It’s when Chris holds the antenna for Peter. Doesn’t take long. At that point, you should be able to log back into the FB or email you had linked to your account.

I got a message that it was time for the pyramid was about to open… clicked the icon and it loads, then it popped up that unfortunately family guy has stopped working. I deleted the app, downloaded it again, played all the way to log in, soon as I did, right away it stops working again…

I play on android And a few days ago I got on the game and it said I had a new journal entry. I pushed read and there was no new entry. I just unlocked adventure Peter last night and a new entry popped up its the third entry reading as if the pyramid is still closed did I miss an entry or do I have one coming up
And on a side note,I can visit all my friends but one and when I try to go to that one my game crashes

There are still issues off and on with the neighbor visits. They are working on it. No worries on the journal entries. They basically coincide with what ever task you are one and what is happening in the game. Like when the Pyramid opened, a new one popped up about that. They are more there just for fun.

I have a glitch that doesn’t allow me to get the mummies appear. I play on android on 2 different devices and get the same problem. It started when the pyramid countdown ended, at which point the game crashed and I didn’t get any animation like my girlfriend did when she was playing
