So I can longer use both of the workers I have on the same spot? I’m restoring the Chinese restaurant. And it would be great to speed it up.

I sure did! I made Quagmire’s navy costume and it completed his set which provided me with the 25 clams needed to buy him! I didnt use my 2nd mexican to speed up anything but rather clear a block and build something at the same time. It was everything I hoped it could be!

Oh…. why do they do these short weekend things/quests.. In the weekends I’m the most away from my phone, working 😦

I took advantage of the faster block clearing times. I think it was a great deal for a 2nd worker at only 25 clams, a price that mostly everybody would have on their game. In the end, I saved the clams and didn’t upgrade my work force because I thought about how I was going to have 2 guys not working on anything at some point.

I have a question that’s a little off topic. I’m currently on level 28 and each of my characters are level 11 or higher. I have everyone up to Dr. Hartman (I also decided to get Killington) and they’ve all been done with their story-line tasks for about 2 weeks. I’ve also managed to get all of the available outfits for them all, building, etc. I’ve noticed that Tricia, Connie, Stewie, Carter and Mayor West are still showing locked along with their buildings. I’m playing in an iOS device so the new update hasn’t hit yet. Are these characters to unlock with this update or am I doing something wrong? The downtime has been great because I’ve been able to build up my money but I’m also a little concerned.

No. They’re still not in the game yet. They’ll be released with District 7 and 8. So no, you haven’t missed anything 🙂

I definitely took advantage the moment I got the notification of your post. After not unlocking Quagmire for a month and amassing $110k coins doing just spurts of 6sec Fat Leapfrog and 6sec Bake Sale, I finally unlocked Quagmire and moved beyond the original free tile.
I went from $110k down to $42k coins, but in the process saved 90hrs on land clearing time, clearing up all the land in Districts 1-3. Not to mention the 10-20hrs I must have saved on the buildings. I managed to unlock Quagmire, Jerome, Bruce, Lois, Mort, and Tweeker Peter this weekend too.
