Hello There Clammers!
Looks like the late night updates continue…either that or someone pushed the “red button” a little too early…in either case if you play on iOS head to your App Store and download the latest version of TQFS….
As always more details as I work through the game…and wake myself up (it is nearly 2 am here)..
So…I’ve gone through the update (as have many of you) and at the moment…nothing is new.
It appears as if someone did in fact press the “red button” too early OR this is similar to what happened when they rolled out Full Moon. It hit Android devices but didn’t trigger until Apple had the download (which, if I remember correctly, was close to a week).
In any event…I’ll keep checking and seeing if I see anything new pop up in the game via iOS…but for now it’s nearly 2:30 am…this is my 3rd game update of the day…I’m going to bed.
Update: Just after 7am on the East Coast of the US the event has officially started for iOS players. Details will be coming shortly……

Ok i’ve FINALLY been able to go through the game and check things out…rundown is below the fold.
Update: 1:30 PM EDT… I’ve added a lot of info below, including a glitch report from TinyCo about known glitches that they’re working on. I still have to finish playing through everything myself to get the rest of the details. This is as updated as it’s going to get for now…right now I’ve gotta actually work, work. More as I can get some time to go through it…

This will run similar to the Full Moon Event….as of right not there are 46 days 9 hrs 15m left in the the event. So it should end around September 9th….
Here’s the Event Details from the Game itself…. 
The new event currency for this one is Blam! Energy Drinks. You collect them, just like you did the butts. They’ll look like this:
In the same area of your Quahog where the Pyramid was you’ll see the ComicCon Event. Convention Center and a few other buildings. You’ll have to collect Blam! in order to unlock these.
Here’s what the Convention Center Area looks like:

Convention Center (Center)- 1,000 Blam!, 16hrs to build/repair/unlock.
“Q” (Left)- 350 Blam!, 8hrs to build/repair/unlock.

-Quahog is overrun with Sweaty Nerds from Con…you’ll have to zap them (tap on them) to make them disappear and earn more Blam!

Looks like the construction image is appearing randomly in the playspace sometimes. It’s just a visual bug.Event District Bugs
– if a player on the Comic Con event visits a friend that’s still on the Peter Griffin and the Kingdom of the Full Moon event, their Blam will change to Moon idols. This should not affect their total or progress in the game. It’s simply the wrong asset that’s loading. We’re working on this too!
Just to clarify, you’re not suppose to get Blam from visiting friends, but if you visit a friend who’s still on the Adventure event, when you return to your original Quahog, your Blam may appear as Moon Idols now.

So if we have both Apple and an Android device, if we started the event on the Apple product, will we be able to still play or game on the Android device? As I do prefer my Android of my Ipod Touch.

No. It’s not on Android yet..so if you go on your Apple device and upgrade you’ll have to play only on Apple until it hits Android. It won’t load on Android because your game will be a higher version.

I can confirm what Alissa said, I just tried to load the game on my android phone and I get the “Upgrade”” Ollie screen. So it is an iPad week only for me.

Well then I guess I will be putting overtime on this when it comes out to Android. Oh well hopefully in the week of wait I can prepare a strategy and get Stewie Unlocked. Thanks Alissa and eblake for answering.

I decided to buy some clams this morning to unlock all the new buildings for the comic con event, to get an early head start. Now I’m almost pretty much out of land space again. This nerd fest event is about month and 1/2 long, hopefully the blam cans can produce enough to get 100,000 Blams! or I might have to get more Blam trucks? So far I’m up 200 Blam points.
The cool part, this morning Joe and Mort unlocked the final pieces to unlock Falconer Peter for me, now just need 5 more banana peels to have “Peter Butter & Jelly Brian” time, lol.
By the way this morning Rupert has a task, I’m stuck on part 3 because he needs to level up for level 3 to use Joe gym set.

Pee pants clown and 80s Cleveland outfits are available to build but no way to collect the items it says to unlock next district (I’m on Asia at mo) I’m on android

I had almost unlocked 80s Cleveland during The Full Moon event but was short 4 sheen. It Does put buying the outfit in the do-able range now that it is available again.

So happy I’m in the ios ecosystem. LOVE getting access to things like this early. Already repairing the clamterprise! SOOO stoked Patrick Stewert is in the game!! Hope he will be a playable character…

Anyone else think this event will be a lot harder (read: more expensive) than the pyramid one? You need about 2200 Blam per day to get George Takei. The 400 clam truck will only get you 400 Blam per day, or 18% of what you need each day. Contrast that with the pyramid event where you needed 3225 Butts per day to get King Butt. The 400 clam shrine gave you 1500 Butts per day, or 47% of what you needed. An 8 hour task in the pyramid event (Peter + Seamus) yielded 160 Butts. 8 hour tasks with Peter and either Cleveland or Lois each yield 20 Blam. I really hope there are some other ways to earn 100,000 Blam in 46 days without a fleet of Blam trucks.

As we saw with the last event they keep adding things to the event to increase the Blam! count. It’s still early, let’s wait and see what happens when it hits Android devices. 🙂

Well my game is bugged, can’t load it up, been trying for hours and hours, still nothing. Crashes right back to home screen before anything comes up. Great event… sigh… not only do I not get to do this but I didn’t get Rupert because of it either.

What version of iOS are you on? What generation of device? I can tell you that on my iPad…all it did was crash and it’s an iPad 1. Looks like this event is too much for older versions of iOS

Can anyone share any tips or advice for what needs to be purchased with clams (if there is any need to?) and what strategies must one keep in mind in order to achieve the 100,000 drinks to unlock Takei by day 46 of this event please?
Is there any hope to achieve that amount for a freemium player like myself or am I practically doomed if I don’t purchase some items via clams? 😛

This event looks amazing, but I’m a little hesitant before buying any of the premium stuff, I did the math on the 400 clam Blam Truck and it would only net you a little over 20,000 if you hit it EVERY six hours amongst the 46 days. I think I’ll take my time and see how much I earn the first few days without the premium stuff. (Hopefully, characters like Consuela and Buzz will be able to earn double again later into the event.)
One thing’s for sure, I hope this one doesn’t have as much……uncertainty…..as the Full Moon event. But it seems most of it’s out there in the open this time! 🙂 Happy there is more time to earn things in this event, but it seems the event currency is a little more scarce this time. Then again, not at all far into the event, so things could change. I’m bad to get way too excited and BUY BUY BUY right at the start of an event. Haha!

I calculated wrong. Haha! It would actually net you a bit LESS. 100 Blam ever 6 hours, that would be 400 Blam a day 400 x 46 = 18400. XP
I’m only going to get it if it gets doubled. The Large Shrine in the Full Moon event gave out 500 a day later on, and I came VERY close to not getting King Butt.
Already decided, not spending over $15 on this event. (As much as I love George Takei.)

Looks like this update finally made it impossible to load on my iPad 1. It’s been getting worse with each update, but now I can’t get passed the load sequence with a freshly reset device and no other apps running.

Update seams fun. As of right now the batteries are a little hard to get long tasks low pay outs and most involve using 2 characters. That and I still need to finish PBJ and unlock Stewie.

Because of this update to ios, I (and I’m guessing other Android userss) can’t visit my friends towns, Consuela says “you need to upgrade your game in order to visit this neighborhood”, just pointing that out.

I like the buildings better than the full moon event because I feel that I can build them anywhere in town rather than placing them in a special area by themselves like the full moon event. Just so excited. Bought chutes and lads just to have a place to put the gay pride float that makes sense. Just 25 clams.

Playing the event, quite a lot of buildings added, some that drop items for Peter’s costume, some that you can buy with Blam.
I also got a Rupert quest, but Stewie’s dialogue in it is showing blank?

So far I like this event but after I earned the phone booth Peter popped up and told me to place booth. When I did all my Blam turned into the golden butts from the last event. I can still collect them the same but WTF!?!?

I have a quick question. Can you play this offline? I’m going on holiday for three weeks to Florida next month (I’m uk based) and I’m taking my tablet with me and turning off data roaming etc as I don’t want to rack up a massive bill, but was still hoping I could play offline. Anyone know if it’s possible?

Love the new stuff but I’m seeing some aspects of this event that makes it like Kingdom of the Full Moon. I didn’t get the last two prizes in that event so I don’t expect to get the last prize in this one. However, they have been more generous in the number of new characters released. Also two questions, is Stan Lee in his chair premuim? And once I build the buildings with the superhero costumes do I have to still collect the “stuff” for it? Thanks in advance! 🙂

More chaos! Didn’t have time to get stewie and no doubt all the useful characters will be needed for the event..
Find it a bit strange that iOS got it a week earlier since it’s gonna last so long. My android friends now can’t visit my town till they get the update.
All in all though it’s looking pretty good and I’m liking the prizes more than the Egyptian event.

Anyone figured out where the nerds are generating from yet with the full moon kingdom update we at least knew the mummies came from the pyramid so you could catch a bunch of them as they were exiting I have not figured out a central location for the nerds yet to maximize my collection of the blam from the nerds

Event has finally started, looks very similar to the Kingdom of the Full Moon in terms of collecting stuff and hitting goals etc. Though at least this time around there seems to be more interesting things to buy with the unique currency.
Looks like another race to hit 100k if you want everything though and, barring a helpful glitch like last time, I wonder how attainable that will be for freemium players?
Oh well, time will tell.

Just wanted to mention that pee pants has returned to Al harringtons for me to buy for around 120 clams. He left my store in/around the kingdom of the full moon. I’m playing on Android currently.
