Hello There Clammers!
TinyCo has dropped a little weekend mini quest in our laps to go along with the Comic Con Event. Here’s the deal:
More details below….WARNING Spoilers ahead
Basically restore:
– 100 Blam! (4hrs to restore)
-350 Blam! (8hrs to restore)
-1,000 Blam! (16hrs to restore)
And win this….
-Rocket is 3×3 in size. Will be placed in your inventory when you win it.
Total cost 1,450 Blam! and 28 hrs you could win the Rocket! (and yes you need to finish building everything before the weekend is over).
You have until the end of the weekend to win! (3 days, so Monday)
Pretty cool deal…hopefully something similar will be hitting for Android players too!
In addition to the weekend quest, a new Blam! earning premium decoration has been added.
Blam! Sommelier- 700 Clams, Earns 250 Blam!/8hrs
A few more sneak peaks at what’s to come have been released in the game as well….
So it looks like most of the fun won’t start until AFTER it arrives on Android… 🙂

Well my dream of winning the free rocket just went up in smoke What the hell I just clicked on Patrick Stewart to see you were my progress was for wizard books and pizza slices and accidentally hit the blam icon and the thousand blam I had saved to rebuild the convention center but I couldn’t do yet because I already had my two workers on other projects went towards the goal of unlocking Patrick Stewart and now I’m down to like 12 blam again 😦

I did the same thing. So now I am grinding Peter on his 1min task and zapping nerds when they pop up. Earned nearly 400 back so far. Been like 3 hours though. But that time would have been spent in brd anyway. Now I just have my eyes open instead of closed. 🙂

When the new celebrity comes, will the previous one disappear, or can you still unlock him?

They all just stack up until the end of the event. Then any not COMPLETELY unlocked with disappear to a galaxy far far away. 🙂

One little thing happened that got lost in the shuffle: Pee Pants is no longer available for purchase. Should have snagged him last week, but wanted to save my clams for this event. Ah well…

So I’m curious, and maybe this question has already been answered in which case I’m sorry – but I’m working my big ol’ Trekkie butt off to unlock Patrick Stewart and I’m wondering if he will be a permanent character when I unlock him or if he’ll be leaving with the event? And whatever the answer, is that the same case for all of the celebs in the event? I didn’t get to unlock Rupert, 😦 I was way confused about that event…. So I’m trying really hard in this one and I want to know if it’s worth my time!! Ok enough rambling 😀

i saw in earlier posts about the brown and red nerds not showing but for me, i get two of each about every hour or so and the blue ones come quick. i have just convention center left to build. I see the brown coming from Q and red from Clamterprise

You needed 15 red nerds to complete quest ‘Quahog Comic-Con Pt.5’. I got a lot more reds than expected while collecting those 15 nerds. However, once I got the 15 nerds that were required, they popped up a lot less frequent. So I think it was only for that quest.

I’m an android player so im in the dark except for what I read on here. But just wanted to say I have falconer Peter, and carter. I only need 2 maracas for pb&j Brian. And for stewie I only need 12 more blueprints, and 7 more of the green things. And of course pb&j Brian is needed to do his task first. Sorry if this is the wrong place to brag, but I’m pretty happy with how close I am. 😊

Wow, haven’t checked the site all day! I’m really sorry! Haha.
My love for Alissa has grown. Thanks for the advice on waiting. I bought the 700 clam Blam. Basically, I’m spending 25 bucks on a 45+ day event. That’s fine with me. King Butt freemium was a massive nightmare, sleepless nights etc. I’ll pay to support this amazing event while at the same time securing George.

Wondering if there will be a BLAM calendar coming out? Al la Stonecutters calendar, and advice on whether the exorbitant costs of some items need be paid?
I’m reticent to paying such high values in TQFS especially for a short term BLAM earner. I’ve played TQFS since day one but only been on TSTO since March but the perceived value (mostly based on longevity and the causation effect of items) is far greater with TSTO.

I feel like I could do this game so much better if I were ADHD. I can’t keep track of who to send where to do what task to get all these characters that needs to be unlocked. I’m trying to unlock Stewie, Carter, Patrick Stewart, and Captain Hammered. I have about 10 or 11 task in my complete. I’m so overwhelmed. Am I the only one? 😦

Lol…no, it can happen. Try not to do everything at once. Target a character or two. Send all that can help to unlock on their tasks. All other “stuff” dropping characters either assign them to a “stuff” task or a “blam” task (if they have one). There is no wrong answer. It’s your game and you can play it however you like. With “blam” the shortest tasks collect the most over the long run. Hope this helped a little. 😉

It was a mistake on day one (among several “glitches” and “bugs”), they adjusted the prices to their correct amounts.

I went to go open the convention when I earned 1000 blam…..I couldn’t because my 2 workers were busy. I turned game off for 5 minutes to tend to some household duty. When I came back, my blam depleted tp 115. Didn’t buy anything with it as I was saving to get that rocket ship. I emailed tinyco so hopefully I can get some blam refunded.
Has anyone mentioned this glitch yet?

We are seeing some comments about missing “Blam”, we’ll keep an eye out to see if it starts trending big. Good job notifying TinyCo, the sooner they are made aware, the better. 😉

I’m mad the bar is 700 clams! I bought the truck cause I didn’t win King Butt last time, and I had bought the smallest idol producing statue, so I bought the 400 clam truck, and now there’s a 700 clam bar! I’m just afraid of ending this event like the Full Moon, sans cool character. But 700 clams? That’s $25 right there! And with all the other cool buildings for clams, it just seems pricey.
I am trying to unlock Stewie as I want his costume, and if I don’t unlock before the event is over, I know I’ll miss out. So I’m working on Peter’s costume, unlocking Stewie, collecting blam, and repairing the buildings…this update is a doozy! (Carter’s gonna have to wait for now…)

Is it just me or is Blam! Really slow? I bought a truck even and I find it isn’t enough to satisfy my needs – in the butt event nearly everyone earned butts and 4x then the blam! You get now!

I’m kinda glad there won’t be a new celeb until Friday cause I have to go to a Boy Scout camp and really won’t get to work on anything till Friday afternoon so that’s pretty cool 🙂

The Android week-long lock-out is doing a great job at motivating me to never spend any more real money in this game… that and… let’s face it, premium buys aren’t worth it anyways. Will King Butt ever have an item-drop task?

There are several “Stewie unlock” quests running from when district 8 opened. They pop up at different times. 🙂

I also got an out of the blue prompt to do part 4 of the Freaks & Geeks quest, which involves stewie & the cinema. Maybe a heads up to get the cinema built early if you haven’t done so yet.

I’m loving the blog too! Has anyone figured out how often the various shirts spawn? And how many spawns the buildings store before maxing out? I’ve seen three spawns of blue shirts come out of the convention center at a time, and they seem to be on 7-8 minute spawning cycles.

assuming you have the Clamterprise and the Q open, your nerd spawns should cover you. Don’t let it get you down and just learn the lesson to leave everything to the last possible moment. Don’t use anything that has more than one use (like gems or blam) until you have everything else assembled. Bonnie is being incredibly lazy in my game so its going to be a long time till I have the pizzas to unlock patrick. So I just let my blam accumulate cause you just never know whats gonna pop up next.

Have Falconer Peter, Carter, and PB&J Brian unlocked. Have to let Brian finish dragging his butt around for 5 more hrs. before I can do his action towards unlocking Stewie. Then I will need 4 plutonium & 30 blueprints before Stewie is mine. Slowly but surely getting there!

Well this for me is one hell of a pain seeing around 10 minutes before this hit, I spent 1000 Blam! on Patrick Stewart, should hopefully be able to get another 1000 before it goes away!
Also, this is my first post so I just wanted to say thank you for the blog, been using this one and the simpsons one for quite a while now so keep up the good work! 🙂

Erm……700clams? Yes let me just take out another mortgage to pay for it….why these high clam prices do I look like I’m made of pound notes or dollar notes or yen or Austrailian dollars (omg yes there’s other types of money)

I have two of the building restored, i unknowingly used my 1,000 Blams for that man standing in front of The Clamterprise. Now my sisiter-in-law tells me to keep my Blams. Before I spend any more I will consult her first as she got me doing the game so she would have a neighbor to visit. It’s been fun so far. I don’t like not getting the extras when a character is finished with there task and not earn it.

I am on iOS and saw the Space Shuttle weekend promo screen, but did not see the Friday Adventures screen. Repaired the Space Clam and now fixing up the Convention Motel. Excited for Hellboy/Vincent “Beast” Perlman.

Since this update my blams have become butts! The counter at the top of the screen is counting butts and all the activities and nerds you zap give me butts too – am i the only one?!?!

Man if only they can lower the prices on these BLAM objects so people would have a better chance at getting them. I just spend 9 clams to finish the Patrick Stuart Blam quest. And now I got to get 1,000 by Monday. There has to be a FASTER WAY to do this, right ? 😦

Grrrr……getting more and more skeptical about Android for this event. More than likely won’t be spending any clams/money on this event unless there’s something particularly special done for android. I’ll just keep finishing up Stewie and Carter and cross my fingers. #TeamAndroid

Mutant Stewie, eh? Guess I should work on unlocking Stewie then. I put him off in order to focus on earning Blam! but I guess I should get back to it. Still got a LOT to do to unlock him. But even still, to get the rocket, all I need is the Convention Center, so I should be able to focus on bothover the weekend. The 20-hour tasks for blueprints are gonna be the worst, though…
Also, 700 Clams for one item!? That’s a bit excessive.

I did. It was placed in my inventory. A pop up in the game came up and said you unlocked it (in addition to Peter appearing with the Quest Complete Reward). If you saw all of those screens & still don’t see it in your inventory contact TinyCo. 🙂

Spaceship unlocked! What a cool surprise. I just finished fixing the Convention Center this morning.
Btw, I love this site! I’ve been following since the Kingdom of the Full Moon event, and I never would have earned King Butt without your help. I’m such an addict now that I have to check in at least twice a day for updates. Keep up the good work!

I so hope the droid “surprise” is worth it… mapple are getting way too many perks. I mean, arent droid users 80% of the market now?

Apple/iOS still accounts for about 40% of the market vs. Androids 52%
However, when it comes to what platform makes more money for developers, it’s not even close. Apple users outspend Android users by a ton.
So when Apple as a company rewards developers for doing “exclusive” or “early access” content, and those same developers are already making more money on that platform, it’s not hard to understand why sometimes Android development or releases lag behind.
I’m not saying anything is “right” or “wrong”, I’m not saying one platform is better than another, I’m simply explaining why things are happening the way they are.
Just remember, at the end of the day, your gaming is TinyCo’s business. It’s how they pay their bills and feed their families. I’m again not justifying their actions or choices (I personally think they are a bit greedy or unreasonable on their pricing), I am just asking the community to remember that things are rarely as simple as they appear on the surface.
In a perfect world, TinyCo would release on both platforms at the same time, with the same content, and be (at least) adequately compensated by both companies (and/or their userbases) for their work.

Lol got my game back up and running on the android and my convention center was done. YAY. So got the nice Rocket Decoration now I just need that Unlimited Fuel Card for a Year and I will go to Space. lol

Ugh, purchased the Furry Dungeon before restoring the convention center because of a Quagmire quest. Do you need to FINISH restoration of all 3 before the timer expires? That knocks off 16 hours from time to earn the required Blam! for me….hrm…I think I’ll make it anyway…
