Hey there Clammers, Hopping on by to give some more answers to the questions being asked. You can see a lot of them in our previous Clarification post HERE.
So let’s dive right in, shall we?
DO I NEED STEWIE FOR THE COSTUMES?
If you want to get Iron Baby or the Minion Stewie costume but do NOT have Stewie unlocked, no worries at all. For Iron Baby, you just need to have completed Iron Baby Part 1 (Collected ALL 20 Demonic Plating & 10 Reactors). For the Minion Stewie Costume, you just have to purchase it for the 20,000 Blam!. This MUST be done BEFORE the Con Event ends. Both of these costumes, if completed as just stated, will sit in “limbo” and wait til you unlock Stewie. Once Stewie is unlocked, you will see the Minion Stewie in Al’s to create and you will see Part 2 of Iron Baby trigger to build his helmet really quick then create that costume. (Keep in mind you need to be to Demon Child Part 5 to see the Minion Stewie costume in your menu.)
I CAN’T SEE MINION STEWIE COSTUME, HELP!
As stated above, you MUST be complete with Demon Child Part 5 in order to be able to see the costume for purchase in your menu. If you are past that part and still do not see it, or it was there and gone now… try to force close and/or restart your device to see if it returns. Secondly, if you are already creating a costume right now (like Multiplier or any other character) Minion Stewie will NOT show up in Al’s until the creation of the other costume is done. This is to help avoid the glitch like that with Red Hot Lois that happened. Once the other costume is done creating, the Minion Stewie will show up again to create. If you still do not see it and have gone through all above, please email us your Player ID (Menu, Account, Long number in lower right corner. NOT from load screen) to familyguyaddicts@gmail.com
WILL STRIPPER BONNIE CONTINUE AFTER EVENT?
As of this moment I am writing this, the info is STILL this… Stripper Bonnie will go when Quahog Comic Con does. So if you do NOT have all her materials collected by then and she is unlocked and walking around town, you will NOT get her.
And of course after I write this they did push the announcement to extend her. Lol. Like we always say, constantly changing and listening to players. Lol. Here is what TinyCo says:
Need more time for Stripper Bonnie? You’ve got it! Thanks to player feedback, we’ve decided to extend this costume past the Comic-Con event. To continue working on Stripper Bonnie past September 8th, you’ll need to start her quest “Hostess with the Mostess Pt 1.”
As long as you’ve started this quest, you’ll have all the time you need to finish collecting items for the Stripper Bonnie costume. This means more time for dancing on bars and lap dances, which is what we all really want.
Thanks for the feedback and keep collecting those fishnets and stripper heels!
So make sure you complete Part 1 of Hostess with the Mostess BEFORE the event ends to be able to continue collecting for her costume.
WHAT ABOUT MY BLAM! REFUND?
If you were one of the players that purchased the Reactors for 5000 Blam! before the price dropped to 2000 Blam!, make sure you have an open ticket with TinyCo. They combed through them before and will do so again this weekend to make sure they were taken care of. This is why it is critical you have open communication with them if you have an issue. Also, make sure you allow them proper time to get back to you on issues. They deal with tens of thousands of messages daily.

Tiny Co is great. I bought AskJeeves for clams before they pulled it. Now it cost Blam. I sent in game message and they refunded the clams and didn’t even take away any of my Blam. I did buy a few reactors for 5,000 Blam each but I’ll let it pass since they helped me out with the clams.

Great news about Bonnie! Now I’m trying to decide is it worth workin on finishing the Fillion, Cranston, iron baby (part 5), Fab Four (part 7) quest lines or just stockpile harpoons to keep my streak going. If I understand right all I’ll get by finishing those quests is some blam. But I’ll get so much more by harpooning demon stewie. I’d rather buy boxes using blam to get more clams if I’m lucky at the end. I’m maxed out at 50 with close to a million coins. Only thing i won’t end up with is robo since I don’t have access to an android device.

I just contacted Tiny Co. via the in-game setting, and within 3 mins they refunded my Fusion Reactor purchase. This is just too good — great game, great customer service!!! And great blog, Alissa and Bunny!!!

I can’t complain too much about the decision to extend stripper bonnie, but I’m kinda annoyed at tinyco for playing with our expectations like that. I spent 60 clams speeding through the questline so that I could guarantee getting the outfit, which I’m still guaranteed obviously, but this kind of classic bait n’ switch technique leaves me feeling rather bitter, and that perhaps I’d be better off never giving the lying scumbags another cent. Yes, it’s been a great event, and yes, they’ve given lots of free clams away with everything else. As far as content goes, actually, I’m thrilled with this. As far as trusting them with even the slightest modicum of truth in advertising, I dunno. First the blam trucks, which were advertised as dropping ‘tons’ of blam, and which cost far more than the extra stuff like BC and NF, both of whom drop much more through their tasks… Also BC had less useful tasks and cost more,probably to take advantage of people panicking over their blam total IMO. All in all, it kimda makes me want to go back to my previous stance of never spending money on a freemium game, precisely because of shady business practices like these.

Bait n switch? I don’t see how enacting a change to benefit and help their players to NOT have to spend money is a bait n switch.
We always stressed and did stress to wait to buy the trucks. Spending real money is a personal choice. I know myself each time I spend I have to also take any consequences that come with it. It is a choice. This is why we tell our readers to wait. Let us spend the money, report our findings, then you can make a better decision.

I bought what seemed to be a distinct advantage in a severely time-limited quest. The quest was then changed in a way that I feel makes my purchase worthless. After getting all the way through unlocking her, with two days left in the event, it seems like she was never even intended to be an event character. I’m obviously not tinyco and I don’t know what their intentions were, but it seems strange that Bonnie’s costume was not marked as limited in the build menu, requires no blam or superhero/celeb item drops to make, and has no tasks that earn blam or items. Almost as if they fully intended to make her a normal costume, but the marketing dept said they could make a few extra bucks if they advertised her as limited… Maybe I’m just cynical, but I’ve played a fair amount of games and see this far too often, something being sold then devalued after they make their money. It is, after all, their game and their choice. It’s also our choice whether to let them deceive us, though, and at this point I’m likely never going to buy clams again. Oh well, c’est la vie.

+1 TinyCo. I was set to be ok without getting this skin because of all the other things they’ve given us during this event and I really never expected to get everything but so far I have. Thanks to the free clams and blam boxes I also have enough to get Buzz and the horse. Still raking in blam and playing the blam box. Come on clams. A+ TinyCo. But you had me at Stan Lee.

How come my mutunt stewie costume disappeared? Yesterday it was in my game for 20k blam today it is in none of the tabs did tinyCo remove it or is there a glitch in my game?

Are you in process of building another costume?
Per TinyCo:
If a player is currently creating a costume, Mutant Stewie will not appear in the shop. We had to set it up this way to prevent bugs with creating the Mutant Stewie skin. If a player is not seeing Mutant Stewie, please check the following:
– They’ve completed the necessary Comic Con quests
– They haven’t already purchased him
– They aren’t currently in the process of creating a costume

Sweet, Bonnie was extended! Now my main concern will be reaching 25000 Blam! before Monday to get the Minion Stewie and Rollocop skins! I really think it’s doable. I’m already at 8K.

Why do they allways give in to the whiners?
I noticed that I wouldn’t have Bonnie done by the deadline, so I spent clams on unlocking her. Apparently that wasn’t necessary. So now I feel like I’ve been tricked to waste my clams.
I belive my feelings are best described by a quote from Linus Torvalds. “Perkeleen vittupää”

Wow, great news on Stripper Bonnie. the extra-rare dropped really fast for me, got all I needed in 24 hours. But now I can put everyone back on Blam earning tasks for the final push. Just need the multiplier’s trophy case and I’ll condiser this event complete!

So glad they extended stripper bonnie as I thought I wouldn’t get her. I say I will get enough blam for mutant stewie and Multiplier but not sure on the askjeeves store unless the harpoons land very well for me on the last day. Only doing 4 killings a day towards Iron Baby and once I got him I will be on a killing frenzy 🙂

Bravo to TinyCo for their work in making the game not only fun, but responsive to public requests and bug finds. It is heartening to know they are actually listening and not only adjusting something which does not work in the real gaming environs (as opposed to concept and testing), but correcting erroneous spending as well.
Kudos to the FGA site too. B & A, you two are just as great at helping us gamers and acting as an advocate. Brava again.

Well this sucks – clams wasted to speed up the 3 – 4 12 hour tasks so I could get onto collection. Bunch of freemium players whine about so TinyCo change the rules. Looks like I will be asking for a clam refund.

I would like to think that Bunny and Alissa played a big part in TC changing their tune on Stripperlla. That and they were likely inundated with massive amounts of flame mail. It speaks a lot to a company who truly seems to listen to their customers. Good on ya TC. And as always thanks to the dynamic duo.

The cynical side of me however wonders if this was not the plan all along. Release Bonnie as limited knowing that it would cause a stir and once it reached it’s peak come riding in on a White Brian to save the day. I know i am over analytical and i do try to keep that in check but there is that thought lurking in the back of my head. But maybe i am the only one that thinks that way and i am giving them far to much credit for being sly. 🙂 They are just a game company. Right?

you could be right there… I had a feeling all along Stripper Bonnie would be extended as if everyone missed out there would be a riot!!
Wondering what to do with all your bombs… USE THEM!! At one stage I had over 300 (and always adding more) of them and have just been bombing away at a constant rate… they have been a great source of blam and more importantly quite a few free clams!! 🙂
My problem is what to do with 169 zaps for my gun coz I know that there is no way I can use them all up! 😦

One thing that makes some sense, but may deserve a clarification note is that the Q hotel will apparently not continue spawning nerds after the event. While the description uses the phrase “permanently spawns nerds” the help and support notes lists the Q hotel and Nothing to See Here Factory as only spawning their respective nerds/minions until the end of the event.

Yay! Now I can get Stripper Bonnie! I just started collecting items last night and now I don’t have to be awake with my phone in had when the characters complete their tasks so I can send them back on it to get those pesky wax and fishnets. Now I can focus on the other Comic Con missions to get Blam for Mutant Stewie outfit and maybe the prizes in the second mystery box. 😀

I was kinda counting on this to happen and really really resisted the urge to speed Bonnie stripper tasks up with clams. I’m still on the tail end of pt 6. If this wasn’t extended I was just going to add it to the inevitable wth’s for next Friday.

I wish they would refund clams spent to speed up Stripper Bonnie questline tasks. I guess I should be glad I’m only out 18. Super glad she is extended. I wonder if they weren’t planning on extending her all along – she is the first event-related skin that didn’t also cost Blam!

He has 7 different ones for now. There are silly outside ones. The part that makes me giggle is he looks JUST like the other minions, so if you are not paying close attention, you will “lose him in the crowd” of minions. Good thing is he does stick to the sidewalks where the other scatter after sidewalk spawn. I wanted it just so I have a minion to keep in my town after the event. 😉

Another question about the Bonnie’s stripper pole. Is there any advantage to this over the original one? Personally I don’t think a curtain on the stage is really worth blowing 25 clams for. Will her pole dancing task(s) with this costume work on both poles?

You need it for the pole task. Without it, Stripper Bonnie in the Champagne room will stay locked. The other one is for regular Bonnie.

I’m in the same Pawtucket pickle. Although I include a message of thanks with every complaint I send to TinyCo, I refrain from sending gratitude only which they wouldn’t have spare time to enjoy. I could post it in a comment on FGA, but also unfortunately, it would be buried among hundreds of questions and protests.
In the same way What the Hell?! on Fridays is helpful to voice grievances, perhaps an Atta Girl/Boy!, Cheers!, Pawtucket Salute!, etc. topic without argument would be convenient to let TinyCo know, during spare moments, what decisions make us especially happy enough to note.

Tinyco is great for extending Stripper Bonnie (or “The Incredible Thong” as I like to call her since she’s supposed to be a super hero and all). I like how Tinyco fixes stuff like this after feedback. I think I can safely say that I can get all the skins before Comic-Con ends now! 1 more microchip for Rollocop, 4 more demon plates for IronBaby, and 10,000 more blam for the mutant Stewie skin. Sweet! Too bad I can’t afford any of the Comic-Con secondary characters that you can only unlock with clams but oh well. They were a little pricey…
Btw, is there any way that Tinyco can release player statistics from these types of events? I’d love to get a breakdown on how many mutant stewies I zapped, blasted, harpooned, etc to get over 200,000 blam without buying any of the blamdroppinf cars/bartender! Or maybe a Blam score ranking leaderboard?

Cool…I already have 10 ear rings, 8 stockings, only 3 slippers and 4 wax…but I put Lois on the slippers, so I am certain by Sunday I will have her unlocked but it’s nice to know if I don’t it will be extended.

Great news, but unfortunately I have already spent 50 hard earned Clams to speed up the quest. I thought they won’t listen and I was wrong… Well next time I wait for sure and I am the to blame. 😦

Great that they extended it. They almost “had to” if they wanted it possible for a lot of people. I was going to have about 75 hours when I got to the collection phase (characters all on their first round of tasks right now). I did think I had a chance, but perhaps slim.

I wouldn’t hold your breath on them getting back to anybody about the Blam! refund. I contacted them first on 09/01 and have contacted them once every day since then. Not so much as a peep from them yet. I am glad they extended Bonnie past Comic-Con though!

I contacted them in game today after reading here that they might refund Blam..2 hours later I had a nice note and an extra 30k in Blam..I did ask nicely tho..told them it wasn’t necessary if they couldn’t..

Hey guys, I’ve already mentioned this on another post, but thought I’d put it here too. I’ve been to the FGTQFS Facebook page and on there it says due to popular feedback, the Stripper Bonnie outfit has been extended past Comic Con, as long as you’ve started The Hostess with the Mostess questline, you can continue it and create the outfit even after Comic Con. It just proves that Tiny Co do listen to us, and use our feedback to make a better game.

Very stupid decision on TinyCo’s part to introduce Stripper Bonnie this late in the event. Either unlock her from it, or knock off the “extra rare” garbage. There aren’t enough hours left to get everything, period.

According to Facebook, Tinyco will extend Bonnie’s stripper costume as long as you start The Hostess with the Mostess Part 1 before Sept 8.
