Hey there lil Minions. Lol. I spoke on this briefly in the District 9 Update post, but we will be seeing MORE things added to the game over the next few weeks in regards to District 9. Most likely around the same time too.
So what is in store for Next Week? Well the pop up in our game gives us a lil glimpse. The Blimp quest keeps on going…
I wonder what Brian will think of his “replacement” showing up in the game. This could get REALLY interesting. No worries, we are prepared for more fun to come. At least I think I am. LOL. (And NO…this is not all of it.) 😉

Maybe in District 9 we will get Herbert dressed as Donna Reed, Herbert’s dog Jesse, Stewie with his pipe and smoking jacket (robe?), Stewie in a plastic bubble painted black rolling around town, and finally, a naked Lindsey Lohan doing the backwards crab walk.

I started playing the second it was released in the app store. I still have not unlocked Stewie or Pewterschmidt, (working on them now). I like the pace I am going cause I don’t want to get bored from nothing to do cause I rushed through everything. On the other hand, seeing all this new stuff and a new district makes me want to rush rush rush. Oh the dilemma.

Unlocked prison meg and built the prison which is great but the scale of the prison hurts my OCD big style it’s way too small!!!

Does anyone know what the diamonds are for? The ones we get for completing sets of characters? Ive gotten them 3 times but diamonds aren’t part of the game?

Sorry if I missed this in a recent post; life has been hell. What is/will be the spawn rate on the Q Hotel? I was under the impression that nerds would still pawn even after the Comic Con event ended. Haven’t seen one yet.

Matt explained this in the WTH post. They were not able to continue any spawning after the event. Too many issues that would impact players games.

The Q hotel no longer spawns. It was something they had to pull out when the event ended for game functionality.

Well…that kind of sucks. I was hoping for a once-per-100 nerds clam drop rate. Or something like that. Does TinyCo do release notes with features updates, starting what is new and what has changed in the new version? Similar to what Disruptor Beam does for Game of Thrones: Ascent?

Couldn’t TinyCo just fix the Q Hotel to drop Clams at Extra Rare or Epic instead of through nerds?
TinyCo removing the option for the Q Hotel giving the possibility of a Clam was one of the major disappointments in the Comic Con event. They offered a great prize for getting to 50,000 Blam! and without the Clams feature made the Q Hotel only worth 5,000 Blam!.

Loving this game, just about to finish meg and I’ve got a feeling the blimp will take me a little while as drops seems to be very few and far between for everything at the moment,
I do however, wish that they would extend the reach of how far you can see (if that makes sense) I’ve got a building in the top left of the screen that I basically can’t really see and every time I go to tap on the area the xp, coin and clams bar comes up restricting my view even more.
Apart from that,keep up the good work everyone.

Just a quick question, it’s a bit off topic but I wasn’t sure where else to post it, do you think that Tiny Co will ever bring back any of the other animals they’ve sold in the past, maybe in a sort of Animal Yard Sale? I only ask as I’ve brought all the other animals they’ve offered before, apart from the 3 from the Exotic Animal Weekend, I wasn’t able to get them at the time and I would buy them if offered again.

To answer your question, we honestly do not know. They control what does and does not hit the game and they like to keep things a surprise. My best thought is to suggest things like this to them. If there is something you like, want more of, want changed, etc…let them know. Just put the Keyword suggestion in the message you send them. 😉

im not the most technological person, but what are “review processes” and what does it have to do with ios? i need district 9. im tired of listening to my android friends making fun of my game not updating.

The app store companies (iOS, Google, Amazon) do a full review on the apps before they allow them in the market (each update too) and some move faster than others. Google currently has the fastest approval process…
This is what causes the delay in the other devices. They send the updates to the markets the same day/same time. It’s the review processes by the app store companies that hold them up.

Just to make sure, I know there is a bit of confusion out there, District 9 will not unlock until you finish the blimp and start the “what the deuce” quest. So, unless you have already completed prison Meg (helps with plutonium) and finished building the Blimp, you will not have District 9 unlocked; if you have, well, you have my upmost respect. While you wait for the update, you should be able to continue to collect items for the needed quests.

One more soap to unlock Prison Meg, then I put her quest on hold while she prospects for plutonium with Stewie and Brian. Already have 3 so might end up just needing propellers at the end (only 2 with Q and Seamus searching non-stop)
So unless they are expecting us to still be looking for plutonium next week, there will be something else we need to collect it for.

Well not going to waste clams on those animals. As I have said before people don’t send them on the same mission all the time looking for one thing if they don’t drop send them one a 1 or 2 hr mission,then try again I already have all the blue plutonium.

I hope they start making more buidings that are only 4 squares deep because thats how much space we get between roads. I dont like that I have to leave 8 squares between roads for all these buildings that are 5 squares deep because thats a lot of wasted space behind each row of buidings.

Absolutely! I hate having so much unusable space in my “blocks”. If only we could make the roads be where we want them. Sometimes I need 1 more square to fit a building but instead I have to make it 5 more squares and now I’ve got 3 unusually squares and I hate having to resort with filling it with a tree or light post or something.
I’ve got 1 spot left to fit a building because, even with D9 opened up, you can’t even use all the spaces. There’s like 2 squares more on the side and bottom of D9 that you can’t use. I want certain building near each other (because aesthetically they should be near each other etc) and I can’t because the roads can only be in exact lines and the buildings are not same enough…. Aaaaarrgggghhh!
Like the firehouse could fit better if the front row of squares was gone. The driveway doesn’t need to be that long. And then it could fit perfectly on the block with the police station.
Ok. I’m rambling. This should’ve gone into the WTH page. Lol.

I’m not trying to rush district 9 at all, but somehow I got lucky and all I need now for meg is 4 soaps! In the next day or two I should have her costume for sure! I also have all the propellers and 3 of the blue plutonium for the blimp. And 2 of each of the other two things. I feel this is all coming together quite nicely. I’m glad I can finally relax after comic Con. I just wish that premium characters had a purpose.. They should help earn “stuff” but they should get a better drop rate than normal “stuff”. Like things that are extra rare should fall as rate or uncommon for premium characters. I have Jake consuela and Bryan Cranston but I have no use for them anymore.. 😞

Why does peter have to be useless now. There is nothing he can do for me even though i have every costume except Pee Pants, which i was one away from 😛 oh well btw I found this website a little before comicon ended and i have to say it is awesome!!! I got the game the day it came out on ios and am level 40.

If you click the achievements tab at the bottom, it will open up a page that has tons of little achievements to pull off through Game Center, for the iPad at least. Not sure about androids.

I was just about to mention that. I got booted from the Comic Con event early, so I had a whole month to dedicate Peter to dancing. I closed out that achievement a couple weeks ago.

With Halloween a few weeks away I would love to seen an event based off their Halloween episode.

The game is great and my household is hooked. The small bugs are sometimes an inconvieance however they are easily forgiven. It is free by the way..lol I have been playing for about 6 months or so and my town is huge and have 750k+ money and would love more land to make the town more, town like install if all crammed in after now my 5th or 6th town redo to make it seem like an actual town with roads. Would love to see more “water” aspects to the game
Would loved to see more money buy able type of buildings to give the town a more diverse look. The same 6 or 7 types of buildings is making the town look bland.
Overall, the game is fantastic and engaging ant tinyco is doing a superb job at keeping you playing and coming back
Btw, I have close to 400 clams and haven’t used a single one or “bought” any so the game can be awesome fun without them, this game is all about time you put in, just like the other million typed of these games.. Can’t wait to see what’s next..

For the record Vinnie is a Pussy Hound..meaning his grandmother was a cat. I would love an event based on the episodes “Then there were less” but know that more specific characters need to be released first. Love the new blimp time machine angle and for the people that were shocked at land prices on their respective lower levels..they really won’t like the costs of the next three on the left lol. Know we have a few weeks until Halloween event so just enjoying the fact that I can use more than a few characters to get items. I know the number one item most people want free clams for just about anything in this game but I already think they do a good job at giving more than a few out as is…yes being a realist I know that this is how they make their profit and that profit is the reason why they keep trying to make the game better. Lots of people have said that they want clams for leveling up..personally I think it would be amazing to either release another skin or lesser known character every ten levels or even a kick ass building for bigger milestones like level 50 (why yes…I am level 50 oddly enough). Would offer other ideas but the Tinyco team seems to be doing an amazing job as is..looking forward to where this time traveling blimp is going to go

OK Am I the only one who can’t figure out why the blimp hangar, which drops propellers to build the blimp, is locked so you can’t even spend your clams to buy it to get the building? It makes no sense to build the blimp to unlock the hangar so it will drop propellers to build the blimp.

My idea here is that seeing the prison is locked along with the blimp hangar, etc. I’m thinking maybe we have to unlock the meg costume in order to unlock the prison, and the other locked items (blimp hangar, news van..) may unlock at that time. I may be wrong, but that’s my thought on that. Hope I’m right!

The Prison unlocks when you unlock meg. The other items unlock after you build the blimp stand and unlock D9…as odd as that sounds.

I agree. The hanger unlocks AFTER you build the blimp. So non longer need the item it drops. Maybe the other poster is right we may need to build another but that seems odd and counterproductive. Maybe they f-ed up and forgot to put the hanger out with the first blimp quest line?

I wonder if the blimp will be a way to bring “dead” or alternate reality characters to the game. So let’s say TC wants to introduce Mort’s dead wife to the game, they could set up a collection quest to get items she would need and when you get them you go to the blimp tower and unlock her (similar to the Al Harrington’s Costume store). Just my speculation.

I know a lot of people (including me) are hoping for some kind of ocean expansion so we can place boats further off shore, and maybe get some ocean decorations! But even more so, like a “fisherman Peter” costume with his old fishing boat, complete with tasks incorporating them all together. And can you imagine finding Billy Finn as a playable character in our tiny Quahogs some day? Awesome! Not to mention DaggerMouth…oops, just did! They could do a LOT with the ocean. I have no doubt they are brainstorming about it constantly. Tiny Co!

It’s amazing how TinyCo is able to seemlessly introduce so much new content every week into the game! I still have stuff to collect for Meg (SHUT UP), the blimp, unlocking and clearing district 9 as well as the new strip by the water. Add to that the repair of Quahog News, and getting Tom Tucker’s stuff to unlock him! There’s still Adam West on the way as well. One thing’s for sure – I will not die of boredom…

That’s true, but I don’t want to take my time too much. The Halloween event will probably hit our devices around the 1st of October – I want to get as much stuff out of the way as possible now so when Halloween arrives in Quahog, I’ll be ready. I’m getting annoyed with this blimp business already. I have had stewie and Brian in blue plutonium two hour task since it hit on Thursday. That’s at least 16 times per day based on collecting every two hours 8 time. 3 days in so nearly 50 attempts and you guessed it NOT ONE G** D*** BLUE PLUTONIUM HAS DROPPED!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m in the same boat. I’m thinking it’s bugged, so I pulled Brian and Stewie to other parts of the blimp while the rest of the town works on Meg. It says Meg drops blue plutonium, so I’m hoping once she is unlocked it will unlock the blue plutonium. Or TinyCo will quietly fix it. Not the first time this has happened with an item not dropping, but they usually fix it at some point.

I have one blue plutonium from initial questline. But it is also an extra rare drop so you cannot expect it to drop that frequently. Be happy it isn’t an 8 hour task with similar number of attempts.
Also, I think Prisoner Meg’s Blue Plutonium is a task. There is a task called “Have Meg Steal Lois’ Shirt” for the Blue Plutonium as the drop. Since my current Meg doesn’t have this task I assume her alterego will.

Just a counter-point to this. I got plutonium on each of the first three tasks I completed. I’m sure I’ve just cursed myself to never getting the last two, but the first three took a total of 6 hours.

If they’re going to do time travel they could bring in Leonardo DaVinci. Hitler & the Nazi’s as baddies in an event would fit in with the blimp theme.
They’ve had a few Back To The Future references in the show before so a DeLorean would be cool. Not sure it’d make an awful lot of sense as they already have a time machine but I’m kinda biased when it comes to those 😉
Previously mentioned multiverse things like hot Meg and the Disney versions as costumes. How about the genetically superior pig with fists – OINK! 😀
Other random bits I’d like to see:
– Bears on unicycles
– Peter’s evil brother Thaddeus.
– James William Bottomtooth III from ‘Brian Goes Back to College’
– More of the sea available to put the boats and islands on.
– Task for Seamus: Play Mumble Peg, from ‘Peter’s Progress’ (which is actually a real game, but not the same thing as what he does obviously)
– New deco: The man who was really a woman who was really a horse who was really a broom from ‘Fifteen Minutes of Shame’. A little animation of that would be hilarious.
Oh, and I don’t know about anyone else but I need LOTS more empty land to put all my stuff on, like 3 or 4 districts worth to space things out properly with gardens and a park etc. I don’t mean more actual districts, just that much space. At the moment half my town looks ok, but the other half is just a jam packed mess of things. It’s good to have land…

Maybe stop asking for sooooo many of the same items for creating meg, bonnie, amd the blimp, and other things because i dont get the items all of the time that a character finishes an action that i set them to do. Also, seeing that you all really insist on actions that last for sooo damn long, can u at least make the actions that are supposed to bring forth prizes for things like the blimp to be 2hours the same for bonnie and jail meg. Please comsider this serious time change.
Also another matter is upsetting me. The fact that i cant get the animals because i dont have clams because i refuse to buy clams is frustrating and it makes me not want to buy clams even more so stop trying to force me.
Lastly it would be great if everytime i set a character to do an action for a chance to get an item, that i will get that chance item and not have to keep sending them on that one action.

P.S. Is the price to clear the back block going to change because right now, it ranges from 25,000 to 50,000 and thats going to take up allll of my money. Not to mention that the other prices for clearing up one block wasnt even CLOSE to these outrageous prices.

I get what you are saying, but keep in mind…this is a District. Which means it is here to stay…forever. There is no need to rush it. So it is made to got at a slower pace so you DON’T have to rush rush rush. And instead can take it slow and take your time. It makes the game last longer than just handing it all over in one shot, don’t yah think?
They are catering to BOTH freemium and premium players so not everything will be for everyone. No one is forcing you to spend clams. It is just another option there IF you want to take it. If not, then it is not your cup of tea and you can just move on. 🙂
As in ANY game out there, each level gets increasingly harder to pass. Items will cost more. Etc. That is standard for all gaming out there. You don’t have to get it all right now. Wait, save up your coins, get it later when you can.
Just sit back and enjoy the game. It really is fun. 😉

Bunny, another thing to add is that this is a non-event section of the game so you are focused on your coin collection to purchase items. But during events there is event currency that take over that focus (I rarely did any non-event building or purchasing such as land expansion). However, every task still pays coins which aren’t usually used during events so it just accumulates all event long. I know this last event which I think was 86 days long, I collected about 2.5-3 hundred thousand coins. So while you may feel against the wall trying to get the money you need to get stuff, just muddle along doing what you can for required builds and wait for the next event. After which you will be amazed how well off you are.
