Hello There Clammers!
I’ve noticed a few trending glitches popping up in the comments over the last 24hrs are so. So I figured now would be a good time for a quick glitch report post!
The following are known glitches with TinyCo:
-Crashing when Visiting Friends
-Coins Not Appearing When Visiting Friends
-Invisible Skins for Long John Peter & Mermaid Peter
-Invisible Skin for Stripper Bonnie UPDATE BUNNY 9-18, They are still working on Bonnie disappearing. Hoping to have a fix soon. The Peter ones should be resolved by now.
-Characters stuck in quests and constantly have “!” above their head. Tapping on the character will only repeat the same quest. UPDATE BUNNY 9-18: They are still working on this issue and need to manually fix it for now player by player. So make sure you have an open ticket on the issue.
-Animal Crate Appearing and Reappearing in the Store
-Coked Up Giraffe’s Animation Changes Just got confirmation that the change was intentional and it’s a permanent change.
TinyCo is Actively working to resolve ALL of those glitches, so if you are currently experiencing one in your game know that they’re on the case! However, there is 1 resolution currently available…
On the Coins not appearing glitch…this is a texture glitch (ie a visual glitch). Which means the coins are still counting towards your total…you just don’t see them. While TinyCo works to restore the visual aspect of this, a hard close and restart of the app should make the coins count towards your total.
As far as the other glitches are concerned…again they’re actively working on resolving all of those widespread glitches. If you are currently experiencing one in your game you can send them an in game message so they’re aware you’re impacted too. However, know that they may not respond to your individual request immediately, since they’re working to resolve them for everyone.
Once we have more info about 1 or more of these glitches resolved we’ll let you know. 🙂

I keep getting the “!” Over jailhouse meg and it won’t go away. Also stripper bonnie keeps disappearing when fini sh ed with missions. How do I fix it

Overall, I feel pretty lucky in that I haven’t experienced any of the game stopping glitches. I’ve completed jailhouse meg (got the watch tower with no problem) and finished building the blimp.
However when I went to clear the first 2 plots of land around d9, they took several hours longer than 20. Around 4pm yesterday, they should have been almost done but they both showed 10 hrs left!! I started the 3rd at 730 this a.m. So am going to keep an eye on this one.
Also, aren’t we suppose to be able to sell stuff in inventory? None show a way to sell them. I do have the character finder (which I luv).

Not everything is sellable. That could be what you’re seeing. Try clicking on a hedge, if you see the $ that means you can sell it and that feature has been added to your game.

just got the last two items needed to unlock the blimp… created the blimp, finished the quest, received a lost connection modal.. had to restart phone to get a connection back.. then restarted the game to have all my items from the blimp quest taken from me.. and the quest back into an uncompleted state. 😦 boo hoo.. i was excited to finish that and move forward..

This seems to be hitting more and more players. We did report it and they were looking into it…but with it starting to trend I sent another update to them. Please report it right away to TinyCo through your game.Make sure you include some key words like… Lost All Blimp Items Collected…or….Lost Every Single Blimp Item Collected.
We will update here if we hear anything else back on this too.

TinyCo fixed the Exp and Coins in alternative towns, but now don’t appear in my town. 😦
The glitch just popped up after I visited the alternate town.

Are they still applying to your totals? Just the images missing? Have you tried to restart your game to see if they come back?

Yeah, it went back to normal after a reload.
As for outfit times being over 12 hours, that’s crazy. I don’t see why they’re just instantly unlocked. Players already waited getting the items to unlock the outfit. I can wait like a hour max, but after that is pressing it.

I found a new glitch that has yet to be reported by anybody. When I unlocked Joe’s Cop Uniform it took Al’s 16 hours to complete. I just unlocked Peter’s Pirate Outfit and it’s stating it’ll take 12 hours. When I played my first game it only took less that 15 minutes for Al to give me each.
I still have to reunlock Mermaid Peter and I’m dreading to know how may hours that will take.

Anyone getting a popup ‘config empty for id griffinHouse in BuildingAction’????? Game keeps rebooting after I click ok and it then happens over again 😦

Is there any way to remove to ! from Stewie’s head so I can move on (ex. uninstalling, reinstalling) or is it permanently stuck no matter what? Is the simplest solution just to sit tight and hope they get it resolved soon? I’d really like to move on.

Game keeps crashing when trying to collect stewie’s first blimp task from the lighthouse. Been doing it for days and I’m tired of it. I’ve got months invested in this game. Sent reports to tiny Co but still happening

do you have an account to back up your game?
If you do try hard closing the game, clearing your cache, uninstall the game, restart your device, redownload the game. Sometimes that helps to clear errors like this…

This is my first time posting so I just want to start off by saying how great this site is. The walkthroughs are always helpful and the suggestion to make a maze during Comic-Con is probably the only reason why I got all the prizes.
Now on to my question. I’m not sure if this is a glitch, but I’m up to Quahog Prison Blues Pt. 6 where you build the watchtowers and they’re in the store as locked. I’ve looked when Meg is on a mission, and when she’s not doing anything. It had previously been available for me to purchase but is now locked again. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.

I checked this morning and once I unlocked district 9 the watch tower unlocked itself as well. So this issue resolved itself.

I cant advance to district 9 as Stewie is stuck in quest and constantly have a ! . so i cant have the blimp.. It s so frustrated. Grrrr. Hope really thwy can fix it up very soon……

I’ve had some of the ones above & black screen; items not collected Finally one piece away from Stewie’s quest (yay!) But the strangest glitch-where Stan Lee “floats” around my town(if I make him do “try out new character”. It’s kinda funny, actually…Hilarious XD! Does anyone else have same thing?

Well I’ve just had a wonderful crash of the game. Just collected my last blimp part, clicked build an the game crashed. I logged back in and now it says I need to collect all parts again. I’ve sent a message to Tinyco. Let’s see if they can restore my progress. I really don’t want to have to repeat it all again

I think the giraffe animation was a legal issue. Either Fox or TC legal department decided it was inappropriate to show drug use even in a cartoon based game.
As to Stripper Bonnie’s invisibility, since she was introduced during ComicCon event, I just pretend it’s her superpower (teleportation). At least until they fix it.

I’m not able to progress the Stewie/blimp quest, stewie keeps repeating the same dialogue but won’t actually do the quest. Any idea when the glitch will be fixed?

They’re working on blimp issues. Have you messaged them? It helps when they can see into impacted games.

Anyone else with Stan Lee having his 8 hour “Try out a new character idea” glitch? He usually “flies” around with arms out in front of him, now he freezes into perfect posture, then floats around Quahog without animating. It’s frustrating to be unable to enjoy the spoils of the prior event 😦

I am experiencing the glitch where the ! is permanently stuck above Stewie’s head. While I haven’t been able to click him directly to send him on tasks, I can go to the blimp and look how to acquire objects and then send him on them that way. It doesn’t disappear even if he is in a building. However, the last time I tried this I sent him to the Griffin house to collect plutonium, where I also have other characters (Joe, Brian, etc.) completing tasks. The problem is, now that one of them is finished there is a check mark above the house; however, when I click it to make them leave, I only get the blimp quest line as if I was hitting Stewie’s exclamation point and not the finish task icon. It seems he is now holding the other characters hostage in the house! Has anyone else had this issue?
I sent a message via the game to Tiny co. about my problem, but I see there is a lot they are dealing with at the moment.

I wonder…have you tried storing the amusement park to see if it stores him too and pulls him out of the game? It might help to do so, restart the game, then place the amusement park back.
That’s the only other option I can think of outside TinyCo stepping in.

Yesterday I collected all of the parts required to build the blimp, I then clicked ‘build’ then my iPhone crashed. I loaded up the game again and the blimp construction site said I had collected 0 parts – so I need to collect them all again 😦 I contacted TinyCo in-game as soon as it happened but I haven’t had any response yet. Are they able to reload my progress?
This is also my first comment on this website after months of visiting it so I’ll take the opportunity to say how awesome it is!

Second…sounds like you did the right steps so far, which is great. I’ve alerted TinyCo about the uptick in this issue we’re seeing from the comments as well, but they’ll address individual issues via in game tickets…so hopefully they’ll quickly have the resolution for you on it 🙂

I had the same thing happen to me, but it crashed after I had sent Stewie and Brian on their next mission. The interesting thing is that I still have the 5 clams I received for completing the Blimp. I’ve made sure none of my characters are doing part collecting so it doesn’t interfere with the enquiry I put with TC about it. I’ve also kept Stewie and Brian free too.

Update: TC restored the items that were reset, and I was able to build the Blimp again. They do have such good customer service!

Was the animal crate available for clams? I log in every 2-6 hours (5-10 times a day) and never saw it in the store. Was hoping they would offer it, had some good spots for it, would have paid clams for it. Although they probably would have changed it into a brown Rubbermaid container the next day anyway.

So the glitch i experineced just now is where i finished all collecting for the blimp , went thru the dialog and when i click to “claim reward” my game crashed and now its asking me to collect everything all over again 😤😤
I sent tinyco a msg but havent heard back from them yet

Few others are reporting the same thing…best thing in that case is exactly what you did (contact TinyCo). Hopefully they’ll fix it soon!

If you think about it…getting rid of the animation of the giraffe snorting the coke is better public relations for TinyCo. Unfortunately, Family Guy made its “bread and butter” on being confrontational, but better to be in line with critics, than on the hook for someone feeling shunned out because their coke snorting method has been exposed.

I think there’s a lot of content in the game that might be inappropriate. To some degree I have a feeling that the game is even more risque than the show. Chris being happy about Nathan Fillion fixing his mom’s vibrator so that she can masturbate again… c’mon. Is snorting coke really so much more outrageous than that?

My game has been plagued by numerous glitches. Multiple force closes, freezing when visiting neighbors, the coin/xp glitch, invisible Stripper Bonnie and Prison Meg. This is all frustrating, but will get sorted out in due time. My big disappointments right now are the fact that I couldn’t get the animal crate to stay put, now it’s gone from the store nor is it in my inventory and also, the change to the Coked-Up Giraffe’s animation is ridiculously lame. If you can’t have the character in the game as is, then just don’t include the character at all. Now the Giraffe is really no different than the Party Camel.

You could use the exclamation quest glitch to your advantage. You get bonus experience each completed task and for the quest. If your like me, you want all characters capped, and this will level you up faster. Use this to your advantage as long as you can guys and gals!

I really hate to add to the stream of complaints about this game i love but I’m very disappointed about the giraffe. I paid for a coked up giraffe and was very amused. Now I have a giraffe who is just a bad dancer… My 2 year old finds him funny but I don’t.

Same here, I’m going to ask for a partial refund on him as I paid real money to get him and now he’s not as good. They shouldn’t take back part of something after a sale without warning and not give something back. If you’d bought an album off itunes and then a track disappeared without warning or explanation you’d be furious!!!

The only glitch I am experiencing is not seeing coins when collecting from neighbors. But like you have pointed out, I am still receiving them, just not seeing them. Other than that, my game is running very smoothly.

Playing game on iPhone 5. After downloading lastest update last week, Long John Peter and a Mermaid Peter disappeared completely from the game. I am still trying to create both characters but they are no longer showing up in the customer shop. Only the names and game pieces needed to create the characters show up. In addition the characters disappeared from the menu area if I wanted to buy the customs directly. Again only the names and clams show up. Still working on Stripper Bonnie, but she is not in the customs shop at all so I am wondering what will happen once I complete her quest.

Do we have confirmation that the animation change for coked up giraffe is definitely a glitch or could it be that they were asked to change it to remove the visual aspect of the actual drug taking in the game? It doesn’t really look glitchy to me, it looks like a purposefully cut down animation 😦
Other than that I’ve occasionally had some invisible coins/xp but I’m enjoying the game too much for it to really bother me. As of right now I’m level 48 and got 8 items left to get the blimp! Can’t wait to see what epic things are in store for district 9, and Halloween, oh how I love Halloween!!!

I had reported to TinyCo,about the glitches with the XP not showing up in my game and they sent me a response. Thank You for the answer. I did notice that my Hummus Cart is missing from my inventory as i was going to but it back in the game but it doesn’t really matter if i have it or not as it isn’t a need item anymore. I’m stuck trying to get Stewie unlocked! Still need Brian’s PB&J costume and the falcon costume for Peter. None of the items required are dropping at all. I’ve been at this for six days now and multiple times per day. It’s starting to become unfun in a hurry. Any advice appreciated. Thank you! Aaron

For many players it took nearly a month to unlock Stewie. I know it’s frustrating, but you’re right on track with what many of us went through as well.

Wanted to confirm what Alissa said — I *just* unlocked Stewie this morning (Woohoo! Yippee!! Hurray!!) after what seemed like an eternity. Especially with the comic-con quest occupying many of my item-dropping characters (Brian had to be responsible for all the maracas and most of the plutonium). I also just unlocked Carter yesterday. My best advice is try to have fun with it and when you start to get frustrated (I seriously wanted to punch Lois a few times), come read through this site. 🙂 The Walkthroughs here are nice in that you can be proactive and build structures now (like the video arcade) that you’ll be asked for later, and when you get close, you know which characters will need to be free once your last item drops. Plus think of it this way, at least you won’t be bored with the game for quite some time! :-).

How do you report a glitch? I haven’t been able to even open the game in 2 days. When I launch the app, the blue TinyCo/Fox screen comes up and the the whole screen closes!

My daughter has Jake Tucker is wondering around her town with an exclamation mark on his head and he just keeps repeating the same splash screen for Part 3 Grumpy side up, but he won’t let me assign him to a task. The exclamation mark clogs up the character finder.

That’s part of the ! glitch. They’re working on the fix for this, but you might still want to send in support ticket so they can see it’s impacting Jake quests as well..

The glitches I have had were the characters dissappearing and re-appearing. Rollocop, Long John Peter, and Stripper Bonnie are the guilty parties here. One more issue I’m seeing is the character finder feature. When I press the locator button, the game brings up the characters’ task list but it doesn’t always pinpoint their location in the town. I sometimes still have to scroll around to find exactly where they are. Perhaps this isn’t a glitch, it maybe just needs some fine tuning.

I’ve had invisible Bonnie and no coins appearing when I visit Ollieland. But my totals update as soon as I get back from Ollieland. This morning none of the characters had checkmarks but it showed 3/3 in the time square. I clicked people and as I did it dropped to 2/3 then 1/3 then the timer went to 20 hr. I got one clam and 20 coins, then the game crashed when I went back. When I reopened the clam and coins were gone. I went back to Ollieland and now the characters had checkmarks and I used the same characters in the same order and the clam and coins actually showed and all was good.

I am still getting the glitch wh er e my game crashes everytime I attempt send Stan Lee on a quest/mission. I keep send the “reports” and have contacted TinyCo via the ingame request. No response yet (been over 48 hours).

I’m having the same problem with Stan Lee – try to assign him a task, and the game crashes. Tinyco hasn’t replied to me either.

I’ve been in contact with TinyCo about experiencing lots of crashes after receiving the 1.2 update (the game never crashed on me prior to 1.2). Eventually after a few back and forth messages they said that they’re getting a few specific reports of crashing on the HTC One M8 (my device). Then they told me to download a log collector app to send them my logs whenever a crash occurs. The link they gave me to the app was “play.google.com/store/apps/det” which is obviously an incomplete link. I replied to ask for a new link, but haven’t gotten a reply yet. Does anyone know what app they’re referring to?

Another one: Robo Brian in the inventory is huge, even blocking its name (it is more obvious if you have Robo Stewie next to him in the inventory)

Everytime I try to buy something with coins it comes up saying invalid wallet data then the game crashes

If you have an account created…have you tried a hard close, clear cache, uninstall, restart device and reinstall the game? Sometimes that helps to clear out these kinds of glitches.
If that doesn’t work….I would definitely contact TinyCo on it. Could be a specific glitch with your game

Anyone else not seeing George Takei on facespace? On Android and do not own Bryan or Nathan. He is still in my town though. Facespace says 29 people where only 28 are shown.

May be if you only have George of the 3? And maybe only Android of those? I can’t be the only Android user who has him and didn’t buy the other 2 though! I sent a ticket, but got jumbled with a generic answer on bugs.

I’m on android. I did buy Cranston but not Nathan. I don’t have the space in facespace for any of Cranston Nathan or George anymore tho. They dissappeared from my face space with the update that ended comic Con. I thought it was meant to happen…

Alissa, it looks like it is just a droid thing, and perhaps those who don’t have all 3. Since their responses to tickets do not seem to be individually catered, can you possibly bring this up to them if you speak to them? Thanks!
