Hey there Clammers. Here we are on Thursday and new content just hit our games. WOOHOO! So let’s jump right in. This IS a timed event. That means you have until Monday September 22nd, 3PM PDT. UPDATE 9-22: This has been extended to WEDNESDAY, September 24th 3PM PDT.
Keep in mind the OTHER District 9 items are around to stay, so you can put them to the side while working on this.
First Up, SEXY STEWIE:
In order to unlock Sexy Stewie, you will need to have completed the Freaks and Geeks Part 5 questline. Once you have, the new quests will start. “Time for a Sexy Party.”
Now to unlock Sexy Stewie, you will need to gather the following materials below.
20 Baby Powders (Common): Peter Stub his Knee, Lois Shoplift, Human Rupert Chat on the Phone, and Tiny Tots Preschool.
15 Dulcet Tones (Rare): Lois Teach Piano, Seamus Sing Shanties, and Peter Super Dancy Dance max
6 Pink Champagnes (Rare Extra Rare): Carter Smoke Money Cigars, Jerome Host Happy Hour, and Buzz Killington Drink at the Clam (We were told this would be Rare, though the game showed Extra Rare when it went live. FAQ still says Rare. We are waiting clarification, so for now…it will show Extra Rare in the game.)
3 Poncy Hats (Extra Rare): Seamus Sing Shanties, Yacht Club, and Lobster Shanty
Again, this is a TIMED event. It will end onMonday September 22nd, 3PM PDT. UPDATE 9-22: This has been extended to WEDNESDAY, September 24th 3PM PDT. So make sure you have ALL items collected and Sexy Stewie running round your game BEFORE then. (TinyCo listened to your requests of Clam/Premium items helping out on Material collections.)

Next up…HUMAN RUPERT IS BACK!! WOOHOO!
You asked for it and TinyCo is giving it to you. Human Rupert is now back in our Quahogs for those of you that still wanted to pick him up. He will now be in your Shop to purchase. In order to be able to SEE him for purchase, you will need to have at LEAST District 4 unlocked. If you do, the “Bear on the Loose” quest will pop up and you will be able to buy Human Rupert in Bare Bear Tanning Salon.

He will also have a new series of quests too. “Bad Bromance.” This will pop up once you start working on District 9. So for those of you who already have him from the Tea Party AND have District 9 open, you will see a ! pop up for Human Rupert to start the new dialog. This shows up around “Time for a Sexy Party Part 3”.
Human Rupert in Bare Bear Tanning Salon WILL expire on Monday September 22nd, 3PM PDT. UPDATE 9-22: This has been extended to WEDNESDAY, September 24th 3PM PDT. So make sure you by him BEFORE then.

We also have some new decorations in the game too.
Extravagant Fountain, $5000, It is animated. (Must have District 8 Unlocked to see it.)
Elegant Fountain, $1000, It is animated. (Must have District 8 Unlocked to see it.)
You can buy as many of both as you want. They do look cool with the water spouting out as animation. I also like they are for coins.

Doody Dropoff, $1000 (Must have District 9 Unlocked to see it.)
Escashady, $2500 (Must have District 9 Unlocked to see it.)
Champagne Pyramid, $3000 (Must have District 8 Unlocked to see it.)
Sexy Party Girls, 150 Clams, they dance in place. (FYI, these are NOT the same ones used in Sexy Stewie’s task to dance with girls. THESE are just decorations. Nothing more. The others only show for his task, then leave again.) They will show up with the new Sexy Stewie stuff.

Sexy Party Planning with trigger AFTER you created Sexy Stewie. Around “Time for a Sexy Party Part 2”
You will also have ANOTHER Limited Time option in your game. The Sexy Party Planning. Once triggered, you have 3 days to do the following…
Create Sexy Stewie
Place Lawn Tiger, 50 Clams
Build High Heel Boutique, $5000, $70 & 45XP every 12hrs
There are currently 2 version of this Boutique. Both will complete the task. However, if you purchased it shortly after the update hit you’d see this Boutique:

Again both will complete the task. Both cost the same and earn the same. The second is just revised artwork they got in after the event launched…
Once completed, you get this as a Free Reward…
Sexy Stewie Robe Station
Again, you only have 3 days to do this.
Remember…EVERYTHING, including decorations goes when all the Sexy Stewie stuff ends Wednesday. So you need to buy it/unlock it in order to keep it in your town.

I have it saved to facebook and an email… How do I clear cache/data if not able to get into game? I use an iphone

You need to look at your device options. It is not an in game thing. My device has App Settings/Manager. You have to locate the App you want, open it, and clear the cache from your device. With an iOS, you may have to pull it off the cloud. Basically you are uninstalling the game and clearing out ALL data and information for it from your device.
Did you also ever check the iOS app market to see if you ever updated your iOS to the newest patch to see if it helped?

I cleared data from i cloud deleted restarted device redone lapsed newest version and still get Error message “config empty for Id IAPgoal1 in goals” am I gonna have to quit playing forever…? I won’t start over after all things I’ve collected and money spent. Been locked out for days. No on else is having this problem and Tinyco doesn’t seem to be doing anything about it

One thing isn’t clear for me: the outfit isn’t tagged as time limited, so it is permanent or not?

The outfit, if unlocked, is yours to keep. But as it clearly says many times…to unlock that outfit…it is Limited Time to do it in. You MUST completely create the costume and have it on Stewie BEFORE the end on Monday or you will NOT get it.

This is so frustrating. I’ve always defended Tinyco and they seem to be fixing everyone’s problems but mine. I’ve been playing religiously since day one basically have collected pretty much everything and now I fear missing out on an awesome skin. Haven’t hear anything from anyone at Tinyco or seen anything here of people having the same problem. Am I never gonna be able to play my favorite game again? I’m certainly not starting over after finally shelling out real money

3 days is really not that long. I know it may seem like an eternity to you, but it can take up to 3 days for them to just get to your message. Remember, they are dealing with MILLIONS of players messaging them at once. That is quite a task to handle and you can only get through so many each day. With yours being a unique issue, you need to allow them appropriate time to locate the issue, find the cause, figure out a fix, and let you know the updates. Also, how did you contact them? Email? If so, have you checked the spam/junk filter to make sure their messages did not go there?

What troubleshooting have you tried? Is your game saved to an email or Facebook? If so, have you cleared cache/data, uninstalled app, restarted device, reinstall, then log back into the saved game?

Clear cache and data is on your device. So sorry you are going through all this. I know iOS updated for the iPhone 6 just recently and it caused all sorts of issues.
Being on iOS it is a lil tricky to uninstall an app, especially if you have the Cloud back up. Before you do ANYTHING though, do not wipe out your game unless you linked it. Did you? Save it to an email account or a Facebook account?

Glad I haven’t started the 3-Day Vinny task yet or this weekend could be quite hectic. I do like that this one incorporates available characters, premiums & existing buildings.
I like that Seamus has multiple item drops from one task but am hoping the code writers took note of the potential problems with this that reared their head in the Comic-Con event. Specifically, they need to make sure the game knows if both a rare tone & an extra rare hat could drop simultaneously, it should award the hat (in my opinion of what’s fair at least). We will see if that’s an issue as the weekend progresses. In their defense, however, it worked right for Jerome’s dual item task in District 8.
Also, did anyone notice the episode with sexy Stewie was on Cartoon Network last night? I’m starting to notice a pattern between the episodes they select & what’s going on in the game. Da Boom was on during Comic-Con & the Red Hot & Rambo Lois episodes also timed closely with the game releases. I’m almost tempted to call it collusion.
Anyway, seems to be a good release. Lots of stuff to get this week. Happy questing.

I am waiting on clarification from them the exact Trigger point. As we rushed it to get all the info, it was like EVERYTHING hit at once. So want to decipher at what point each is set to go. Will update when we do. I believe it is as soon as you get the option to start creating Sexy Stewie.

Looks like I’ll miss out. I’m on Freaks and Geeks part 4. It would cost about 800 clams to auto-unlock Stewie the character. I just sent in-game feedback about unlocking the costume even if you don’t have the character.
I really would like this costume. It seems like an iconic part of Family Guy. But I also have timed event pressure fatigue. Too many limited-time events in a row (counting the Comic-Con weekends and the animal weekend).

Awww, bummed to miss out on Sexy Stewie, so cute, and hilarious in the show, neat decos too. Really want! You advanced guys enjoy, so jealous. At least I got to buy Human Rupert this round, so that’s something. Except I find him kinda creepy, haha. Pleased to finally get Anime Peter a couple days ago and unlocked Tricia today. Woohoo!

Personally I might use clams if necessary but I would wait until maybe late Sunday early Monday to buy it save clams cause during that time you can go for the stuff tradtionally. There are a lot of options to get the stuff but it is up to you.

best thing to do, is do the time limited quests 1st, and just before the time limit runs out spend the clams if you are still short if you want. dont spend now as you could be lucky with the drops 🙂

Are the decks like the escashady and the fountains limited time too? Because of they are, that would suck because I really like the the escalade in real life and it would look cool in my game. The same also applies to the fountain.

One thing though, the fountains aren’t lined up on their squares. Just like the topiary they are like half a square higher than the placement. Small issue but kinda easy to fix hopefully

Man! Sooo much limited time stuff happenin’ right now. Hope I did not have to drop clams to get everything. I just spend 500 clams on Tom’s mystery box which went splendidly. Got all the decorations except pirate car and flame garden which I had from previous mystery boxes anyway. Is golden peters animation just “glistening”? If so, then I’m glad I didn’t spend 1000 on him.

Human Rupert should A: Not cost so much, or B: not be time limited. And certainly not both!!! This is THE MOST I have ever been upset with TC and their need to add pressure to players. This could be a deal breaker where I give up on this game unless they choose to change this blatant act of greed. The tea party was horrible and poorly delivered. As it stood, myriad of players missed out on a character that is now required for a completion. Now to try to compensate for our loss they bring us this garbage of a “deal”?! Way to crap on your fan base TC!

Hey, look at the bright side…at least they brought him back. Initially he was supposed to leave with the Tea Party 2 months ago. They could have not brought him back, instead they said ok if you guys want him that bad he’ll cost clams. Honestly,the time and effort many players, myself included, put in to unlock him in the limited window during the Tea Party should count for something. Which is why he’s limited-time. Again, just be happy they brought him back at all.
Players ask for old items to come back, this is what happens.

Alissa, what TC is doing is adding insult to injury. For those of us who missed him during the tea party this isn’t a deal. There’s nothing bright about this but I ADORE you for trying to make me feel better. Honestly, I do. When we players are asking for something to come back, I can bet my left lung that we don’t mean with limited conditions. As I said, I’m okay with his price if there was NO time limit. But dangling him in front of our faces like that with such a ludicrous price is poor business and not fan appreciation. Again, I appreciate your thoughts on trying to cheer me and all of us up. I’m just not sure TC will keep me playing with stunts like this. I’m taking Bunny’s advice, though, and waiting for a patch. Perhaps there’s a glitch and TC may redeem themselves…

It is a game of pros n cons they do have to weigh. No matter what they do, someone will ALWAYS be upset. So they try to please as many as possible. Those who will uproar if it is just handed out as they spent time and clams to get him the first time vs those that want him now. It is a tricky see saw.

Totally agreed with you on this Alissa. I’m one of those that thinks tinyco can be a little too greedy sometimes and I work my butt off to get Rupert and thought that I earned him so for him to come back without making it hard to get would really piss me off. I don’t mind them doing it like this. This is an awesome update. PARTY

I’m at full XP and have plenty of coins, so I just leave my characters walking around until needed. That way if there is a sudden release of something like this I can start right in putting the ones needed for drops onto their tasks. I let the buildings give me coins (again no need to worry about XP except for the XP for specific characters that need to get to a level to unlock tasks.). So try leaving your characters alone if you can unless you need to build your coins etc. makes this kind of release easier to handle.

From my understanding I think ur xp can still count even after u max it so when they decide to up the level some more you’ll probably jump a few level but I could be wrong, this might not be acurate info.

I did not get my human Rupert new quest line. Does he need to be free. I am happy I set my people on short tasks cause most were useful getting some item already. Gonna work all weekend but it will be mine. It will be mine.

Obligatory kindle player frowning (I have 15/30 blueprints, 5/10 plutonium & therefore won’t be able to finish part 4 of the questline in time (if I were closer I’d consider clams but it’s at 275 right now which, too expensive for the possibility of a skin)…sigh I can see the sexy Stewie costume in the character menu but I don’t think that’ll result in being able to start collecting items (sigh)FalconerPeters task to Fetch a magician is cute though

That sucks, but, creating content and fixing bugs are completely different skills. I suppose if they put Peter in charge: “Hey you, drawing the sexy party girls. Put down that photoshop tablet and figure out why David here can’t open his game. And don’t give me any of that more of that ‘I’m just an artist, I studied at Juliard’ baloney. We need all hands on deck! Stat! I don’t know what ‘stat’ means but they said it a lot on E.R. and it got things done. So stat, stat like you’ve never stat’d before!” 😀

I am still clearing the district 9 land… would it be better to wait with the final part (the one where tom is) until I gathered all stewie materials? A matter of avoiding getting Tom items instead of Stewie items.

this is why tiny co SHOULD have an option to cancel a characters task so that we can put them on tasks that are needed. I keep saying this but there is still no option to cancel a task. it is so annoying…….

Same here, lost nearly a day of the event because everyone’s tied up 😦 It’s a long shot but I’ve sent them a message to see if they can cancel all my character tasks for me and also request the cancel feature in the game (referencing the popularity of that feature request here). Until then we should probably have a no-task-thursday policy.
Other than that the event is awesome, a bunch of stuff we asked for and most things available for coins instead of clams.
So, I guess I know what I’m doing this weekend – havin’ a sexy party! 😀
