Last night saw the last little bit of summer hit our games, with the Endless Summer update! The residents of our Tiny Quahogs are trying to squeeze every drop out of summer that they can…and nothing says summer better than the Kool-Aid man busting in!
That’s right my friends for a short 4.5 days you have the chance to earn the Kool-Aid man for YOUR Tiny Quahog. You can check out the details on how to unlock him, and what’s included with the update, here.
Peter get things rolling in Quahog with a 5 part Endless Summer questline and a 7 Part Kool-Aide questline….

Tap the Endless Summer Boombox- Find the Boombox in your Quahog and tap on it to check out the details of the endless summer event.

Woot woot, I got Koolaid man. But he doesn’t say anything, is that correct? I was hoping for some good old oh yeah by tapping 😦 . But on with the game, tonight we shall have pink Brian and I’m only 3 cigars away and 20 hours left on the timer for Vinny. Hope the exclusive building is worth me getting up twice to reset the actions.

Got him with a day and a half to spare (pink Brian today :)). Was a bit disappointed that kool aide man was not voiced – nor was vinny, maybe they’ll change this?

I just finished gathering all of the stuff for kool aid man, but he is no where to be found. I tapped through the text on screen because I was in a hurry and didn’t catch if he was delayed entry or not. Anyone else not get him immediately?

Does a certain character have to be free in order to have the kool aid man and boom box appear in inventory? I got everything needed to unlock him, and yes I got the unlock screen for him.

Got all the stuff for Kool Aid Man, but he’s not in my inventory, neither is the boom box! I don’t see either of them in my Quahog either. Where are they? Thanks!

Wowsers, set all characters to do tasks today and despite repeating jerome’s actions hourly I only earnt one water jug, they really are rare aren’t they. I have unlocked the other two components for the kool aid guy but doesn’t look like I’m likely to get the character. 😦

So I had a busy weekend and I’ve been stressing trying to get all the stuff needed for Kool Aid Man since I thought it ended on Monday. I only have 19 pitchers and I keep rushing Jerome’s task. Then I read the blog again and notice that everyone keeps saying Tuesday!!! I guess I’ll get some sleep tonight. Should’ve looked at a calendar!

Im stuck on endless summer prt 4 it wont register when i do fat kid hula i have sped it up and let it go the 4 hrs nothing changes. Sent a message in game nothing

A few others are reporting the same issue. Remember it was just the weekend…so could be why they haven’t responded yet. You can try a hard close (ie shut down your app) and restart it back of to see if that helps clear it. If not TC is the best route. Fortunately, the questline won’t hinder your ability to get the Kool-Aid man.

For part 4 of the endless summer quest it wont register that Chris’ task is done. I did the hula hoop twice (the first time he was in the middle of it when I got to part 4) and it still says I havent done it

It’s going around…
You can try contacting TinyCo with it…or just continue to unlock the Kool Aid Man. The questline is not required to advance..

It’s going around. Best bet is to contact TinyCo…fortunately it’s not required to get Kool-Aid man.

So I altered tiny co about the event ending way too early (4 hours). How long will it be before they respond? I didn’t want to pester them since it is the weekend. I included endless summer and timer keywords, I also included a screenshot.

It depends. Their response times are all over the place. So, unfortunately, I don’t know how long it will before they specifically get back to you. 🙂

So far I’ve got 9/10 cherries (next one due in 3 hours, kool aid man wanders my town every 7 hours like… well like clockwork), I’ve gotten all pitchers (I did have all possible characters on it round the clock) and two more ice cubes to go. No clams. It is doable.
I’ve read that all the questlines for Koolaid man will disappear at the deadline? But as long as I unlock him, even if I don’t finish the endless summer quest, I get to keep him right? Because I know I won’t finish that on time, especially because they put some really long actions in there and unless I truly have no other alternative I don’t want to use clams.

As long as you unlock him you can keep him. The questline is meaningless to keeping him 🙂

The Endless Summer Pl 5 Keeps Shutting Down. After I Bruce Says He Likes Rubbing Sticks Together The Screen Opens Showing I Completed Both Tasks And Then Closes And When I Reopen It Just Keeps Doing It Over again. Did anyone else have this problem?

I have a dilemma with the quests in acquiring the Kool Aid man, for some odd reason the blue pitchers aren’t dropping as often as before, and the ice cubes hardly seldom they drop. We have only 2 days left, and I still need 5 more ice cubes. Is it gonna be enough time to finish the task? I’m always on the game except when I’m sleeping. Please help on this. It would be awesome to be able to get the items more often. Thank you

Ice cubes should drop ever 8 hrs from the pier. If they’re not dropping for the pier each time you collect Contact TinyCo, could be a glitch with your game.

Thanks so much Alissa. I’ve contacted TinyCo on the issue, and so far I managed to get all my ice cubes. One thing though, the pitchers are getting harder and harder to come by because Jerome and Peter seldom drop them, and Lois, Herbert and Bruce’s tasks are very long hours. They don’t always drop them. I’m hoping I’m able to unlock the Kool Aid man before the event ends.

Do you know if the 7-part kool aide task stays past Tuesday if you unlock kool aid man? I should finish him tomorrow evening but no way I will make it thru that whole task list in less than 2 days.
& FYI kool aid man spawns at certain times regardless of when you tap him. The next will be in 1 hour 10 minutes. So it is possible to get 2 within minutes of each other. Not a glitch at all, works exactly same as red & yellow nerds in the comic con event or the clowns in the circus event. Although each event is unique, Tinyco is not reinventing the wheel with each one.

Ok thanks. It looks like if you time things just right you might be able to do it in about 37 hours after unlocking Kool Aid man. Might be able to get it done.

I seem to be seeing kool aid man a lot more than in 7 hours I went in the game clicked on him 4 hours later he was back then in the next 3 hours he was back again I got 3 in one day so cherries might be easier to get for me and anyone else that is happening on their device

i live on the east coast and well when i checked the timer it said that 3PM EDT on 9/30 was when the event ends. isnt it supposed to be 3PM PDT?

Yes. Many are seeing timers off. Please report it. Others are too. We have as well.

It is really not fear that they only gave us 4 days to complete the quest, and also 3 day to complete the quest for vinny, I really think they should give us more time. How are they expecting us to do these quests if they don’t give us enough time?

I have seen many unlock Vinny just fine. Kool Aid is going nicely for me in my test Freemium game. Earning things just fine at a good pace and not aggressively playing it either. Nice pace. It is all in how YOU play the game. YOU dictate what you can and can’t do while playing Freemium. Time will need to be spent. It is the trade off of being a Freemium vs Premium. Doesn’t mean it can’t be done. 😉

Ahhh…totally agree with u bunny. As a freemium player u can’t expect to get everything without putting time and effort into it. If u don’t have time, spend clams. It balance out with people who has nothing to do and people who has a job or going to school. I think tinyco is getting really good at balancing that out compare to when they first start this game.

This quest is easily doable. As jerome has a 1 hour task he should at least hit a pitcher about 6 times a day based on sending him say 14 times.

I’m always 15hrs away from the quest time. It always starts in the middle of the night and by the time I got up from my sleep, I’ve already lost few hours from the quest.
I really hope TinyCo will work something out. 😦

Thanks Bunny for the notification about the timing glitch. I checked and realised that the timer cheats me of 15h 20min! Can I check what you mean by report it from your game? I’ve gone to the tinyco website and filled up some form when I clicked contact us. Will that suffice? Getting a little irritated with all these timing glitches and all the time limited quests… makes me question if I missed out on earlier items due to quests ending prematurely for me. 😦
I seem to be having terrible luck with Jerome and pitchers. Only got my first one from him after trying almost half a day. 😦

For the clammers:
I used Jerome play ball and got all my pitchers for 30 clams. I just kept hitting the try again button since its only 2 clams to auto complete vs way more with the other’s tasks! Hope that helps 🙂

i have a good strategy as for how to get the pitchers. in the day send jerome on his task. at night send everybody (minus bruce) on their tasks

You can still collect. The quest will go when he does. It’s only the side quest we don’t have til he’s unlocked. So don’t know just yet what will happen with that.

I don’t know why but I’m a little sad that we cannot just buy Kool-aid man outright if we wanted to for clams. But I’m also excited at the prospect of possibly having him in my town. However with so many rare items needed and such short amount of time to get it, I do not see how getting 25 pitchers will be possible in 4 days since I just got my first one before checking into this site. and I have had characters on missions since he arrived in my town last night.

I used Jerome play ball and got all my pitchers for 30 clams. I just kept hitting the try again button since its only 2 clams to auto complete vs way more with the other’s tasks! Hope that helps 🙂

so i am slightly confused… do you need to complete Endless Summer parts 1-5 to begin the Kool-Aide pt. 1? And do you need to complete both of these task lines in addition to collecting all of the items in order to unlock the Kool-Aide man? or do you just really need to collect the items to get him? For instance, I don’t want to send Chris on a 16 hour task in Endless Summer pt. 2 when he could instead be collecting pitchers. Thanks!

Collecting materials for him are what will keep him in your game…the rest…more a bonus with his quests. 😉

Isn’t just peachy how the quest line just so happens to involve all the characters that also drop pitchers sans Jerome? What’s that, you have Peter dancing but need him to make KoolAid? I mean how creative is that?

The koolaid event ends 3pm PDT which is 12Am in the Netherlands (gmt +2).
But my timer says 3 days 14h left. Which means it ends Tuesday 14:00 instead of Wednesday 0:00

Bunny is something weird going on with the timing? My event timer says 3d 3h but my timezone calculation places the end date in 4 days almost exactly, am i missing out on around 21 hours of event time?

Even with that many character in use for this questline, it’s going to be hard to gain 25 pitchers in just a few days, especially given their “rare” status. 😦

True that it’s rare but Jerome has a 1 hr task to collect pitchers so far he has collected 7 for me everyone else is dead weight because of their long timing but with Jerome I’m sure you can get all 25, but never the less send the others on pitcher quests so back up.

Well, Jerome dropped me 5 pitchers and Peter 2, Chris nothing and I’m waiting for Lois now, but having 7 in less than 24 hours seems like a good thing, right?

OH YEAH, I have found what appears to be a glitch in the timer. Mine is counting down to 15:00 Sept 30 LOCAL TIME (Osaka, Japan) not PDT.
Now, do we inform Tinyco now, or later and use it to wrangle another extension? I leave that to you Professional Addicts to decide. 😉

Very interesting. I would let them know NOW so it won’t hinder your game. Having a game end early would not be in your favor. Better resolve all issues now. Take a SS and send it in. You can also send one to us if you would like and we can forward it too. 😉

I seem to have a timer error too. There should currently be approx 3 days 22 hours remaining but my timer says 3 days 5 hours. How do I send you a screenshot? I’m not asking for an extension (unless they want to give us one 🙂 ) but would really like to get the same amount of time as everyone else. Love this site by the way!

Lol. Let me put it this way. We NEVER outright asked them for extensions. That decision has always relied on their decision. It is not an easy thing, so honestly…I prefer it to go as originally coded. Less chance of issues. 😉
Please do report it to them. If you want to send us a SS that is fine to, but still report it as they can see it live in your game. Just look up how YOUR device takes a SS (most are holding a variation of home/power or home/volume). Then email us the image at familyguyaddicts@gmail.com

the events never end exactly on time, so that tells me they have to be switched off by tinyco, not by a timer on my device. If they did that, the events time limit could be hacked.
And I was joking about the extension- the timer ending early but the event continuing they would probably bust out the old ‘its a feature not a bug’ line, hahaha
