Hello There Clammers!
Halloween has arrived in Quahog! And Peter, in typical Peter fashion, has decided to tick off the dead. In doing so Peter accidentally opens a dark portal in the Quahog cemetery and unleashes all manner of ghosts and goblins on the city…your job is to help round up these ghost, goblins and ghouls! And just to add to the ghostly fun Phase 2 has introduced the option to craft Mr. Weed!
Of course to enjoy all Mr. Weed has to offer in TQFS you’ll have to craft him which is fairly easy, depending on how much patience you have. So let’s take a closer look at the details behind this former toy creator…
Once you’ve reached phase 2 Mr. Weed will be unlocked in the cauldron for you to brew (he’ll be the very last item in the Cauldron). To brew him all you’ll need a Terror Dog Bones, Banshee Tears and a whole lotta Spirit Vials!
Aside from a whole lotta booze…you’ll officially need:
17,500 Spirit vials
40 Banshee Tears
40 Terror Dog Bones
Once you’ve collected them all head on over to your Cauldron and Brew him!
Once complete he can be found in your inventory…along with his grave:
Just tap and place in your Tiny Quahog to resurrect Mr. Weed from beyond..
Mr. Weed comes with a pretty amusing (but fairly short) questline, and a questline that will start for you once Phase 2 kicks off. You’ll be prompted to build him whether you want to or not!
This costume is not timed in the sense of Diane or Pink Brian. You will have the rest of the Halloween Event to Craft him. So just make sure you do it before Halloween is over 🙂
FYI…currently Mr. Weed is not voiced. Hopefully, like Vinny and Kool-Aid Man one will be added later.

I earned Mr. Weed a while back. I don’t remember how, but don’t remember having to grind thousands of items to get him. I built a graveyard and realized I have the graves for Loretta, Paddy, and New Brian but not one for Mr. Weed. Why does he not have a grave?!?!

That is the thing. It is NOT their Character. Remember, you are dealing with a “third party” here, TinyCo. They are NOT FOX nor Family Guy nor Seth. They STILL have to go through all the hoops and jumps as anyone else to get the owner of the copyright to the voice to release those rights to them. Just as they have to go through all the OK to get copyright for Characters and items they release from the TV Series. Not as simple as you may think.

I’m sorry if this has been asked/covered, but does can Mr. Week get any “stuff?”
Can he cear any terror dogs/banshees?
Can he earn any traps/stink bombs?
I’m very close to getting enough vials to get him (though i won’t do it ASAP since I’ll need some vials for Cleveland and whatever comes) and i want to know if he’s valuable in getting stuff, or should i just leave it and see what the reast of ???s are

What I want to know is, how are people getting all these vials to even unlock Mr Weed? Coming from someone whose bought every item in site that generates vials (and saves the vials only for characters or quests), I’m about 13,000 short.
What am I missing here?
I am also wondering if anyone has had the problem of Terror Dogs only popping out occasionally, not all the time like they used to. I think I can zap maybe 4 a day then they are gone.

Dont worry so much about OTHER players and their style. Just focus what works for YOU. How YOU play will impact your results. If you spend clams, win certain items from Mystery Boxes, buy certain characters, how many times a day you are in your town, how many districts you unlocked, on n on n on n on. Mr Weed is SUPPOSED to be the last item, much like Takei was. So there is no need to rush to get him now. But you can if you want. 😉
Terror Dogs, all I can say is report it to them.

Dropping bombs is the key. A good bombing strategy that allows you to hit 12-15 trick or treaters per bomb about 15-20 times per day adds up quick.

So I’m only a few hundred vials from 17500 & am trying to decide whether to brew mr. Weed now or wait until after we see what Thursday has in store. Any advice on this one?

Depends on how fast you’re earning…if you’re earning at a decent rate go ahead with Mr. Weed. But if it’s taking a while I’d hold off. You know you’ll at least still see Cleveland…and he’ll probably cost 1500-2000 vials. 🙂

Don’t forget vampire duck Stewie, which I guess will require 5,000 + ingredients. I’m bringing in 3,500 – 4,000 a day so I think can justify doing it now. Hopefully the 8,000 or so I make by Thursday will be enough to get the initial buildings & required brew items to get the weekend started without a delay. Thanks for the feedback.

That number was purely a guess. I hope no one takes it as anything more. I went ahead and got Weed & am confident I can scrape together enough to keep pace with this week’s release, especially taking into account the addition of a fluffy new scoring opportunity.

I think I got 5,000 Frightpoints for brewing him or placing his grave or something. Nice surprise 🙂
BTW besides opening portals, what do the Frightlevels do and how many are there?

Each level gives you that amount of clams. By completing Fiscal Fright. It will give you MORE latchers, kids, dogs, ghosts, etc spawning. Then the portal upgrade.

Clearly your definition of “fairly easy to get” differs greatly from mine! 🙂 Not saying he isn’t attainable, but as I only reached 10,000 spirit vials this morning (and that’s with Predator plus a few clam-priced buildings) I would definitely not say he’s …Ooh! it’s 3pm! Time to check for updates!!

I can if you would really like me to. I myself like seeing all the different takes on peoples ideas of what they take from the game. I do not see it so much as taking you out of context, just more having a dialog from another player trying to see it from your perspective. Both sides make sense. But if you prefer, I can remove them if you still want me to. 😉

Hey, I have a question I have all the ingredients to make Mr. Weed and have enough FP to brew him but when I go to the page to brew him it says “not enough”. I just wondered if anyone else had been having this problem?

I’m not going to ask if you know there is a multiplier coming up because I respect that you are respect for to tiny co and because of it has made your blog reputable with them and they take our feedback than.
Do you think there will be one? I am just trying to figure out if I should invest in a vial machine at all to get more vials to try to get Mr. Weeds.

I do think we’ll see some ways to earn lots of vials coming up. It’s been their trend for their last 2 events…so i suspect we’ll see something here soon 🙂

thanks for your advice Alissa.on my side… i am only earning like 1500 Vials a day 😦 … i still think i can get mr weed.
i have unlocked (only) until AsiaTown (having troubles getting Eyeballs for Anime Peter… and dont want to spend 250 clams on accelerating it)….
because of that ive decided to stop buying buildings… these weeks building earn a maximum of 30 vials a day and there`s only 16 days left… so is not a good “investment” lets say. But I may get some of them AFTER I BREW Mr Weed And Duck Stewie 🙂

Best bet to earn the most…beat stay puft. Get good multipliers and you’ll earn a TON 🙂

Got the items, now just need 6,000 vials. Hopefully swarms of trick-or-treaters later today will make easy work of this.

Woohoo have all the items and only need 9,000 more vials.. So as long as phase three doesn’t have any items to brew skins to make or characters to buy that take vials (I’m feeling good on this) I should have him before phase 4 hits..woohoo!!! Seriously if he doesn’t collect any items (so far) I have no problems getting him later

I unlocked him a few days ago, I do think that they will add his voice at some point. Really looking forward to find out what you need to do to unlock Francis, he was one of my faveouite characters, also interested to see if they add another Premium character tonight.

My guess like with diane is you will need the confessional and Francis pulpit in phase 3. That is just a guess.

Is there any reason (other than your own enjoyment) to brew Mr. Weed before Slutty Cat Meg or vice versa? Their tasks look comparable..

I tries to brew him after I had all the mats, but for some reason he wouldn’t brew for me. Instead I crafted slut Meg and am able to zap two dogs at a time.

Great to have him in the game. Just hope he’s utilized in the future. At some point, TinyCo have to stop catering for ALL players ALL of the time. They should have mini-events where premium/event characters are utilized. Even if the character is available for unlocking via alternate means eg Clams or quests. It would be an incentive for players to work hard to unlock such characters the first time they’re available.

During the full moon event every premium character helped. During the last event Comicon both Cranston and Fillion were waay helpful not to mention that the small amount of people that put all the time in to have Stewie unlocked got all kinds of help from him in the final phases. So far during this event King Butt, Consuella, Takei, Cranston and Fillion have all had taks that give you an edge over those who don’t have them not to nentio Predator is super helpful in either collecting two items. So Im confused in what you would want. That being said these events are all like rollercoasters..first phase is doing a few turns around, phase 2 is always the slow climb up the big hill…by the time its over you only remember the thrill
