New “Terrors” Trick-Or-Treaters:
Much like the Minions for Comic-Con you’ll now have to Stink Bomb the Trick-Or-Treaters!
SIDE NOTE FROM BUNNY: These Brats spawn out by the portal, move your maze over to the exit point from the portal. This should help to start directing them. More coming as I play with some items to make mazes. Feel free to elaborate on yours too. Post pics if you’d like. 😉
Where you are on FP Levels as well as Districts open will determine your Spawn Rate on these kids. Expect to see at least 2 every 30 mins Minimum and up to 6 Maximum. The total amount you will see will be at least 8 Minimum Total and up to 48 Maximum Total in your Quahog at one time.
Collect Stink Bombs to Defeat these little “terrors” and they’ll drop items for Ghostbuster Joe, Candy Corn and more for you!
You can earn stink Bombs from:
-Demonic Mystery Box
-Chris- Make Stink Bombs, 8hrs
-Bonnie- Make Stink Bombs, 8hrs
-Mort- Make Stink Bombs, 8hrs
-Jake Tucker- Make Stink Bombs, 8hrs
-Pink Brian- Pretty in Pink, 4hrs
-Slutty Cat Meg- Punch Drunk Dance- 4hrs
-Purcahse Packs from the Shop (Available in packs of 1 (15 clams), 12 (150 clams) and 24 (250 clams).
Once you have Stink Bombs..here’s how you bomb the trick-or-treaters (we’ll have a full post on this later):
The Traps also changed their timer from 6 hours down to 4 hours making it easier to get those Latchers.

Logged out of my game with 4 stink bombs so I could wait an hour for the trick or treaters to respawn (they walk single file out of the portal and you can nuke them in one shot) when I returned, all of my stink bombs were gone! (Twilight Zone theme plays)

The timer doesn’t start until you complete the repair, so just don’t tap the checkmark on it until you’re ready. I did the same for Diane.

Sooo…. how do you get more stink bombs? I’ve used the 3 initial bombs I was given. I know you can buy more using clams but surely there is a task related way to earn more of them.

Liked the last part. Not feeling this part. At least the zombies or whatever they were that came out last time dropped bombs. 4 and 8 hour tasks are boring and way to long to stay interested in that part for me. I will get Joe. The rest are decorations so no real interest.

Week three challenge is going to be tough since you can’t stun the kids. We should be given a week to do the challenge or decrease the target number to 100.

I love the updates. Always exciting. It’s looking like the kids are coming from the portal, so hopefully stink bombing them will be an easier process than when we were against the mutant Stewies. Right off the first batch, I used a stink bomb and hit the maximum amount (one went in and survived).
Currently building two buildings and will need to save up a few thousand more FP for the others. Was tempted to unlock Francis, but after the Diane ordeal, I figure I’ll wait for you guys to update.

Ugh it’s minion stewie all over again but with kids now…. and tapping them doesn’t work to keep them still *starts ripping hair out* oh not to mention we have to stink bomb 200 in 3 days? As far as I can tell I only got 3 bombs and very few characters earn them and no buildings to get them *starts beating head against wall*

It seems it doesn’t. Had the maze since previous event. These brats don’t just spawn on roads. As soon as they spawned, they were all over the place. And they go in between buildings even if they are right next to each other.

Looks like they come from the portal. Tried placing a road directly in front of portal then made a maze around the road with an open end. (So they won’t scatter when they hit the road. Looks like it worked. But you would have to blast them before reaching the end of maze or they scatter.

They spawn at portal. Focus on the exit from there.

I left my maze in place from last event. The problem is the trick or treaters dont spawn on roads like the minion stewies did. The maze doesnt interest them. They dont appear to be attracted to roads.

All those little trick or treaters are already gonna be a problem. There is no way to get a bunch of them together to stink bomb, tapping them has no effect. Now we have to bomb 200 of those little brats in three days? Impossible without dropping some serious clams and/or cash to get enough stink bombs to do it! Also with the large number of them running around, they are causing the game to be sluggish and skipping, like with the stewie minions. I’m more of a premium player than I used to be, but I would have to spend ALOT of clams if I want to get this challenge done. I know you girls are going through it all now, but any stategies would be greatly appreciated!

I am leaning on the maze idea again like I did with Minions. Will test it once we get the logistics and main run down done first. 🙂

From what I can tell the maze method doesn’t really work with these. I tried it and they just walk around, and walk through the buildings. Also, they don’t stick to roads and just walk anywhere.

Seriously, I started Phase 3, but I’m hesitating before I dig up Francis’ grave or to bomb too many kids because I’m worried I’ll trigger the 3rd Challenge before I’m ready.
I felt it was pretty safe to start building the Insane Asylum to help with unlocking Joe.

Not real happy. Upgraded the portal and without clicking it I appear to be unlocking Francis. I sure hope there isn’t a time sensitive aspect to him. Anyone else have this happen?

Don’t stink the kids right away. Wait until you unlock Joe’s quest line. Need to clear 5 kids, if you clear some before it, it will no count. Ask me how I know?

New little trick-or-treaters roaming about. Bombing them with Stinkbombs. They don’t gravitate to the sidewalks like previous creeps did:( Very sad about that part. 3 days to bomb 200 of the little buggers is this weeks challenge and the bombs are received from an 8 hour quest. I really hope the quest gives multiple bombs or this one will be impossible without Clams, which means no Ghostmobile. I’m not happy about this one. Too few bombs, too long a quest to get more, they can’t be paused like the minion Stewies and they don’t stick to sidewalks. I hope Tinyco makes some tweaks there.

I know this has just gone live but please can you give some advice on how to get rid of 200 trick or treaters in 3 days when you give a run down. (Preferably without spending clams) I really want the Ecto-1 but genuinely don’t think I will be able to do this challenge! (I failed the bombing of the minion Stewies)

How do you get stink bombs other than buying them? Without the steady stream of blue shirt nerds dropping bombs we had in comic con this could be a pretty darn hard task to get 200 in 3 days.

I admit, I’m scared of this 200 trick or treaters in 3 days since they aren’t contained by roads, roam free, can’t be ‘stunned’ and the production of stink bombs seem incredibly limited (Why does Joe ask if Peter has any, Peter responds “Of course I do!” but he can’t make any?) . And now I’m gun shy on the new grave. I want to open it, but I’m terrified I’m not ‘ready’ to yet. It’s sad that a new content update is immediately viewed with such fear and doubt instead of happiness and excitement

This bombing 200 kids in 3 days seems like it’s gonna be a lot harder than the bombing quest for the Comic Con event. As far as I can tell the only way to get more bombs is an 8 hour quest, which has a chance for a drop or to spend clams on them, and they aren’t cheap.
I don’t see myself getting this ghostbuster item. =(

I wasn’t around for the King Butt event. Were the weekly events in comic-con the same as they were then, or are they just copying the weekly events from comic-con to Halloween. I’m not even sure they changed the color palate of the stink bomb from the pesticide bombs.

Also, unlike mutant-stewie during the Comicon event, these kids can’t be ‘locked’ into place by tapping them.
When exploring which new buildings were added, I found something tucked away in the normal buildings section ie not in the event-section. Some mysterious ship called the Nostromo, who knows what that means…

Hey Bunny, what’s your opinion on this: I’m well on my way to all the items to Mr.Weed but i’m lacking the spirit vials, all these new phases are draining them. I don’t know when to brew Mr.Weed, what if a new phase happens and requires a lot of spirit vials and I don’t have them! I’ll be so behind!

Of course lots of stuff to buy. How are we supposed to buy all these things and save spirit vials. I’m not even at the 25% mark for the vials needed for Mr. Weed and yet here ar more thing to buy. It’s crazy. And I know I’m not the only one who can’t afford to buy tons of clams I order to get the premium items to get the items that give extra vials. So frustrating.

Just got it! Hoping they change it so the trick or treaters walk on the pavement like the minions did. (Unless they spawn on there and I missed it?) It’s really hard to keep track when they are so tiny and vanishing behind the buildings. At least give us a fighting chance to get more than one at a time!

Wow, lots of new fun stuff again. Building a few buildings now, bombed a few kids, and won the haunted manor from the new box on my first try – the only thing I really wanted from that 🙂
I would be thankful for a few hints how to coral the trick-or-treaters – they just scatter and run everywhere, they are not sticking to the roads this time, and don’t react to tapping them.

Unlocking Francis is just like Diane. You need three things and you only have five days once you dig him up. You need to brew the Confessional, the Pulpit, and build the Mariner’s Banquet Hall. If you do not do this in the five days you will lose Francis forever so you should prepare the items before you start to dig him up.

It’s interesting that they’re doing the latcher and bombing stuff from Comic-Con again for this one. Although those little kids just keep moving…I hope to have 200 so I can get Zuul’s portal. I really do want the Ecto-1. At least Jake Tucker is useful here. Just waiting for my other characters to be free so they can be useful too.
