Hello There Clammers!
It’s Christmas time in Quahog…and of course Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas with out the big guy in red and an Elf on the shelf!
But what happens when you have an Elf that’s too fat for the shelf? Well Santa sends him to do “special” work….
Let’s take a look at the two new questlines that enter our Tiny Quahogs, once we unlock both elves (Santa and Peter)…
Let’s get things started with Santa.
Remember…in order to unlock Santa you’ll have to complete the Wishlist. The Wishlist is compiled of various items throughout each of the Gift Boxes during the event. Once completed you’ll earn Santa AND 100,000 Cookies. To get Santa you’ll have to pull him from your Inventory. He comes with a Gold Gift Box (no, you DO NOT have to purchase a Gold Gift Box to get him. He comes with one..as a decoration).
Bag of Tricks Pt. 1
Santa starts
Have Santa Gorge on Cookies- 8hrs, Earns 25 Cookies, 5HC
Completed Task Earns 25

Bag of Tricks Pt. 2
Santa starts
Have Santa Check List Twice- 1hr, Earns 5 Cookies, 1 HC
Completed Task Earns 25 5
Bag of Tricks Pt. 3
Santa starts
Have Santa Dry Clean Suit- 10hrs, Earns 30 Cookies, 6HC
Completed Task Earns 25 5
Bag of Tricks Pt. 4
Santa starts
Have Santa Do Chimney Training- 4hrs, Earns 15 Cookies, 3HC
Completed Task Earns 25 5
And that will complete Santa’s Questline in Quahog!
Now let’s tackle Peter…the most requested Elf.
Remember Peter can only be won in the Polka Dot Mystery Box. Each turn on the box costs 1,000 Cookies.

And with that you’ve completed both Elf questlines for Miracle on Spooner Street!

Of topic a bit BUT if you’re short of Level 10, try and get there if possible to collect the 10 CLAMS. I was a few hundred HC short and used pointsettas to get me across the finish line. You’ll spend 50 cookies and receive 5 HC for each one. They don’t use much space so you can plant many.

I’ve got 45 snowflakes and am on my way to defeating king yeti, but that means 95 snowflakes at the end! Do we know for definite there’ll be no last minute item conversion or mystery box? 😦

Holy cow is this King Yeti ornament small. I can’t believe after all that this is all you get from defeating him, it’s not even animated. Weird. At least I got Jesus, does anyone know if his quest line goes away with the event?

It says animated…so maybe after the event and all the extras don’t suck the memory out of the game…he can be activated.

So ofcourse I spend like 100 clams to have mort joe and Lois finish beating the yeti early and now I’m gonna run out of clams before doing it enough times smh , total BS

But why waste that many clams speeding them up? When for a bit more you could have bought a character and flown through instead.

I did the same thing as Amanda, and spent slightly more than 100 clams. I was trying to avoid doing this in the first place, but I was running out of time and I was more than 50 short of those blue socks for Jesus.
Wow I wonder what I can do with 99,999 cookies. I just crafted puppy Brian, but the only thing I can spend cookies on is the gift box in the store. God I hope I win clams.

Yeah, the polka for box was a waste. You can only buy it 4-5 times, even though there are nearly a dozen items to be won. Huge dissapointment if you don’t win Elf Peter.

You SHOULD get all the Buildings, Decorations, and Costume. That is what the boxes are intended for. Everything else is just extra. So it should stay til you get those main items.

In the 2nd week I bought John for 200 clams. It was my first premium character i bought. I really wanted Jesus. And the only way i could figure I could earn him was with john. After buying John, I saved all the clams from this event (earning clams for cheer levels, xmas wish lish items, gifting presents, bombing procrastinators)….. I now have 197 clams earned! Not bad 3 clams total paid for a premium character John and I earned 3 more characters Jasper, Barbara, and Jesus. Plus I earned Santa! Happy with this even except for the 4 hour rest between yetis.

Doesn’t everybody realize that they still have an almost full day to get Jesus? Today is 12/30 and the event ends 12/31 at 3pm eastern time!!! I have been seeing so many people saying they are giving up getting him and that was days ago! Just keep bombing the yeti, the stockings from him add up quick.

I hope that some day Jesus is available for clams, but at the same time, failing at these events — where I do spend money, and buy premium characters — is getting extremely grating. Feel like I should be done with the game, but it’s an like a bad investment at this point. Bad humbug.

Anyone else have a silly amount of stuff left over from this?
I have around 138,000 cookies and stockings to the order of 593/61/352/197/54 with a day to go in this event. I got lucky/unlucky with the Polka Dot mystery box and got all the items without getting any “fillers” such as clams. Will there be anything better to spend the cookies (and stockings) on than like 1380 Christmas Choo Choo trains?

I am still awaiting confirmation from TinyCo directly on how the carry over of Cookies will work. Once I get a more solid answer…I will post it. 😉

I unlocked Santa but was only given part 1 of his quest. I unlocked Elf Peter a couple of days ago and he hasn’t received one quest yet. Is there something I’m missing? Why hasn’t it happened? I’ve been wondering all this time what this “built a snowman” prize was that I haven’t gotten yet.

At this point, without Clams…you can try but it will take a LOT of luck and grinding. If there was time, I would say try the lower level yetis instead.
But I am confused…are you saying you have only the 3? Or 4?

I’ve read how to sell item on your website and in TQFS help menu. I am not given the option to sell items, yet have the latest version downloaded. What am i missing?

To be honest, really surprised that they didn’t introduce a ‘last minute box’ like in other events. With just a couple hours to go, I don’t think that’s going to change.
Too many events lately which left them no time to design some ‘last minute box’ decorations I guess? Idk

Okay. That was pretty sweet to get the 100,000 cookies. Didn’t see how you’d get the 15,000 cookies for Jesus while completing all the other quests. However its still mostly impossible to get the 100 snow stocking to get Jesus. I haven’t been able to play this event like a mad man. Have to work and spent Christmas week with some family. Only one day left in this event and all I’ve gotten are 20 snow stockings. Still need 80…don’t think it will happen!

Yeah I have given up on getting Jesus. I haven’t once gotten to top hat yeti even. This yeti thing has been the thorn in my side of this event. I.. Sob.. Can’t even talk about it without getting emotional. Jk no it’s very annoying. I didn’t buy any premium characters to help with it, and don’t want to spend my clams to rush it, so it’s been impossible. Oh well!
