Week 3 is live…time to upgrade the Warp Core to level 3 and unlock the Bridge!
In Week 3 we’ll see Borgs, Locutus, Starfleet Lois, Guinan, Skimpy Sarong Herbert (finally for the right reason), a brand new mystery box and Phaser Battles!

BUNNY REMINDER: As stated whenever you tapped the Warp Core… in order to Upgrade… your STARFLEET XP LEVEL needs to be at 4. 
So… to get to WARP CORE 3

First, and best thing to do is upgrade the Warp Core. Tap on it once you have met the requirements and you can start to see some of the new content.

Borgs
The Borgs will not appear until triggered by “An Endless Battle Part 1” by Peter in Warp Core Level 3. Mine showed up after “Frame of Mind Part 8”
Clearing Borgs will require Troi, Worf or Vulcan Quagmire.
Clearing with Worf or Deanna will take 2hrs. Potentially earn Synthesizer Ore, Duct Tape or Space Groceries (You will need to unlock the Bridge to see the tasks in their task menus)
Still working on spawns, but in my game (Bunny) it seems like 5 appeared every 2hrs with a MAX of 5 allowed at a time. So if you already have 3, only 2 more appear at spawn time.

Locutus
You’ll find him on the Bridge. As always, unlocking him will require you to collect lots of stuff. Here’s what you’ll need:

Two new planets were introduced with Phase 3. Here’s a quick look at them..
Cespoolus- Chance for Crystals, 10 Batteries, Romulan Warbird Or Skimpy Sarong Herbert. This one costs 1 Transporter energy. And you can send Klingon Chris, Starfleet Peter, Troi and Starfleet Lois
Nom-Nomulus- Chance for Crystals, 3 Phaser Energy, 5 Communication Earpieces or 2 Synthesizer Energy. This one costs 4 Transporter energy. And you can send Klingon Chris, Geordi, Ferengi Mort, Startfleet Peter, Riker, Troi, Worf, Starfleet Lois and Locutus
Phaser Battles
Pew pew…finally Phaser Battles have been added!
UPDATE BUNNY 4-3 230PM EST: Have already contacted TinyCo in regards to WHO drops the Phaser Energy (even though it says Transporter below) and at what point. Will update when clarification is offered. (Like Chris and Geordi)
Basically you collect Phaser energy to blow stuff up and win more stuff! Once you earn energy you’ll see this screen popup..
Basically shoot stuff to earn more stuff. The more you blow up the better your rewards will be…and don’t forget to blow up the PeterCraft

I’m getting really frustrated with Herbert’s costume. I’ve sent the whole group, I’ve sent each individually, and I’ve tried various combinations. Today, I sent Chris by himself like six times in a row. I still cannot get this costume. I am probably well over 20 attempts, and nothing. Some people are getting it the first or second try, and I wouldn’t complain if it took me a day or two of many attempts. But that’s not at all fair when it’s been this hard!

It is a RARE item to get. So if you are not having success… walk away. Give it a few days… try again later. Just like everything else in this event, results will vary by players. I see many posts from my side… some got him right away… some 30-50 tries. And everything in between. So your results will vary too.

I get that it’s rare but rare items in the game take 4 or 5 tries, maybe, not 50. Seems to me between 1 and 50 times is far too drastic.

Lol. Not in most games. Rare takes a lot of tries in the Mystery Boxes as well as the Transporter. They are not like the “Rare” material drops. Those are completely separate.

How do you get skimpy sorong Herbert? The odds for him were still unlikely even with sending all available characters.

I asked about this elsewhere but this page gave more details: it says you need troi, worf, or Vulcan quagmire to kill borg, but when I click one it now only shows troi or worf (don’t have Vulcan quagmire (not even an option for me) and the text says I need worf first. will troi be enough when she FINALLY gets unlocked? Also, is there an inventory for the “stuff” or materials that I’ve gotten from drops? I’m curious what all I have so i can mix up jobs if need be.

Yes you asked elsewhere and here was your answer…
That is because Quagmire won’t hit the game til the next Warp Core Level, as it confused some… his image was pulled. As far as characters, you don’t have to send anyone first… it is all your choice whether you buy a Character or not. Chocolate drops have extremely improved, just look at Chris & Riker in the Transporter. The Borg will help with items, so it depends on how often you send Troi.

Can anyone tell me the build time for the weapons room? Looked through the site and can’t find it. I’m not getting any phaser energy and am contemplating doing room swap but it depends on build time? I noticed they removed “ulcan Quagmire” from the borgs for now…. And yes, I didn’t put the “V” on Vulcan because when I clicked on a borg, it wasn’t there… Always gave me a little chuckle… 🙂

Man,those laserpointers are hard to get,been working on it round the clock and only got 5?
One from quagmire and four from shooting
Is it true we need borg pickard to go to the next district?if so that’s gonna be a big problem in this paste it wil take me around 25 days to achieve that?

So far to date, there has been NO questline requirements to unlock the next Warp Cores. Just Starfleet XP Levels. Questlines seem to be set at the players own progression. So until the next Core is released, I do not know what he will or will not be used for or trigger

Hi Bunny and Alissa. Two things. First, did your Trekkies disappear once you got to a Phase 3? I haven’t seen any on my ship since my Phase 3 began. And lastly, when I got my message that my chocolate mission was done it said, “hope you did not send anyone in a red shirt”. I did not, and I got my chocolates! Have you seen any clues like that for other missions?

I have not, though I recommended MANY times players to NOT send Peter on the mission. 😉
And Nerds were replaced by Borgs, so they are walking the decks instead.

Deana+Peter+Klingon Chris = romulun ship. I was a bit shocked, as it was my first try and I used clams to speed it up thinking it would take a while to get.

Has anyone hit a week 3 timed weekly challenge for clams yet? Trying to figure out if I should be saving phaser energy for a potential timed quest or if I should blast away as soon as I can.
Also, little tip I picked up elsewhere for the Herbert costume: because no groupings really raise the chance of the rare drop, it may be better to send only one character on the mission. The more characters you send, the better your chance of something else dropping, so only sending one may make it a little more likely.

You know, I think it’s really most helpful to think of your progress in unlocking characters and costumes in terms of the limiting factor. Like with Starfleet Lois, I have the crystals, I have the groceries, and I’m 23/30 on the earpieces. I am 8/25 on the Felicium, and I’m confident I’ll get the earpieces first, so I feel like I’m 32% through unlocking Lois. For Locutus, I have 12/35 on Laser Pointers, and everything else clear, so I’m about 34% through unlocking Locutus. I do hope to unlock Skimpy Sarong Herbert soon. I’ve been sending Peter alone, in part because I’ve had other characters working on other tasks, and in part because everyone seems to boost crystals more than Herbert anyway. If the odds on Herbert are low either way, may as well not tie up the characters. I might start throwing more characters at it though. I do wish I could send characters on separate away missions, though sending 3 separate away missions to the same location would probably be a little excessive, it would be nice if you could send a party to each destination.

I forgot to mention, I thought it was *** nice of them to have a 1 energy away mission. It’s slightly offset by the fact that I have to run it every hour over and over and over, but I thought it was a nice move.

I thought I would get Lois first, but I’m not so sure now.
I need 15 more laser pointers (3 more batteries, should have that today) and 17 more felicium.
I’m pretty much now stuck on all questlines until I unlock Locutus and Lois. So I’m going to start sending Peter to try to get Sarong Hebert and once that’s done, I’ll start sending him to nom-nomulus to try to get more phasers. It almost seems futile to me to keep trying to have Chris do his battle scream for Felicium, I’m just not having much luck there. So I was thinking to have him start getting phaser energy instead.

Have you tried just Klingon Chris and Geordi? I used that combo 3 times in a row, and got chocolate all three trips.

Damn – part 7 requires using the transporter which I have been avoiding. OK it only costs 1 TE to go to the required planet, but I cannot find a combination with Peter, Deanna and Chris that gives anything better than an ‘ok’ chance, and Deanna + Chris are needed for clearing Borg and collecting stuff so I am reluctant to attempt this stage until seeing tips on optimizing the romulun ship chances.

What exactly is the quest that allows you to see the content? I’ve finally upgraded the core, but nothing is happening. I’m stuck trying to get the temple and trying to get Troi. Which of these should I focus on to move content along?

What is the best combo to send in the transporter to get a good chance in winning the star trek Herbert skin cause I’ve been sending Peter alone and Chris alone but with no success so far?

Couldn’t see this posted anywhere, so I thought I’d ask: The clam rooms are instant build. Are they also instant re-build when room swapping? If not, do you know the re-build times?

They never did. It is the actual build that triggers the payout, so instant don’t work.

I’m having an issue with clearing the borgs…I have whorf but he has no task to clear them. Any time I click on the borgs it brings me to quagmire but his skin has not unlocked yet either. thank you in advanced for any answers

Make sure you’ve triggered the tasks, like listed in this post. Then use character to initiate the task. Not Borg

I Don’t mean to complain but getting those dang chocolates are B S! I Still have not gotten any! It takes 6 hours to try and collect the blue things (if the character or room even decided to give it up) and it takes 6 for the dang mission and I put everyone on the mission and have to wait like eight hours and then they still don’t even get the dang chocolate and I’ve tried 3 times now and it takes a week to do it! And plus it takes forever to level up and out of ALL my people only like 4-5 people can do stuff for the event, I love this game and I love Star Trek but so far this event sucks

We tried with Transporter post. Thing is the trips are NOT the same for everyone. The payout varies per player.

Just hit the quest for part 3 have been warp 3 since Thursday night. I still haven’t gotten the romulan statue but I got the starfleet 100 clam building as soon as I opened the bridge. Will it cone in later, maybe?

Space groceries: “uncommon”?? I’ve got two crew quarters and have cleared several Borges but no drops. Do crew quarters only have a chance to drop if you do NOT rebuild it? I constantly swap / rebuild all of my rooms…

I stopped rebuilding mine for a day and groceries dropped 3 times. Always got life support otherwise

So, when I had 4 Romulan Ale bars producing 32 SXP, I would see the SXP meter move almost a full bar every 2 hours until they robbed us by changing the payout after everyone spent their hard earned Transporter Energy, Synthesizer Ore, and Dilithium Crystals on what became a useless building. When I got the Casket Ejector 5000, it was supposed to be 800 SXP. I expected to see the meter fill up a few bars, but nothing happened. I got more movement by one round of all my buildings cashing in at once than from this supposed 800 SXP. This event has been more shady than the Redwood National Forest

Yep, they really screwed us over with the Romulan Ale Bars. Hey, let’s offer a building with higher payouts, and force people to spend their very, very, very hard earned te to get it, then a day later, change the payouts to match the earl grey tea house, which costs no te or synth ore. What’s next? We buy 100 clams and only get 50? Offer us another building with high payouts and high cost, then screw us again. So frustrating about the ridiculous way you have to switch rec rooms just to get any te energy at all, but offering us one thing, the Rom Ale Bar, then changing it after purchase was the lowest thing I’ve seen them do in the year I’ve been playing. Way to kill a otherwise fantastic event! And thanks Bunny and Alyssa, without you, we all be still unlocking geordi, lol.

Hey guys! First of all, thank you for all the updates that you guys do, have been a great source of information right from the very launch of the game, and long may it continue!
I have a few questions regarding the phaser battles…
1) should I shoot the asteroids or just the perership? I know there are unlocks for shooting him, but do the asteroids also give similar rewards?
2) can you shoot multiple targets at once (similar to how all the other events have been when having the “shooting” game) ?

So has anyone else been stuck waiting on synthesizer ore since that task came up? Moving into day 3 of no drops on the. Why do we have rooms or characters or away missions for it but can’t actually get it?
This event is far from one of the easier or more engaging events the more it goes on. I hope it gets better soon.

I apologize if this has been asked already or I missed it…
I could see Troi and Worf’s tasks to clear Borg before I had them, but now that they are there, the tasks look to have disappeared. Tapping on the individual Borg just sends me to the character task screen (depending on which one is on a task), but does not give the option to clear.
Is this a glitch or has anyone else seen it?

Try restarting your device and instead of tapping on Borg, go right to the character themselves.

Reinstalled and restarted. Both Troi and Worf are finishing tasks, I’ll update once they’re done.
