FINALLY an update on time. Star Trek Phase 4 is officially live in Quahog!
Head over to your Enterprise and upgrade to Warp Core 4 (if you’ve met the requirements). This week we’ll unlocked the Sick Bay, Beverly Crusher and Vulcan Quagmire!

A reminder that Android and Amazon players have a patch update in their respective App stores. So be sure to download version 1.7.6 so you’re on the latest update. iOS users your update should be out soon…
To be able to gain access to ALL the new items below, not just limited… you will need to have progressed through the Main Questline to the end of A Ship Without Picard (Part 8, Part 9 will trigger with new Warp Core)

Unlocking the Sick Bay
After you’ve upgraded the Warp Core you’ll be tasked with unlocking the Sick Bay. In order to unlock the Sick Bay you’ll need 50 Life Support Energy.
After you’ve unlocked the Sick Bay you’ll then start the rest of the update…

UPDATE BUNNY 4/11: I know many of you keep asking this, so I am going to put it in here for you all to see. YES… ALL 3 WILL DROP THE HYPSPRAY. 😉
I have tested this on so many Borg. At least 50 of them now. This is what I am seeing, on the Characters themselves only the Synthesizer shows in their task list. This is ONLY visual. Visual issues are low priority and last to be patched. So do not worry about it. 
As for the Borg, you are killing them on the Enterprise that is FULL of all sorts of colorful background. This can make it difficult to see things… Like the HYPOSPRAY when it pops out. I almost missed seeing a few of mine, until I looked close at the screenshots. There it was. 
Hypospray is NOT as common as the Synthesizer, for my game I saw the bright green cubes more often then the spray. But I did see it.
Vulcan Quagmire you’ll find him in Al Harrington’s. To unlock here’s a look at the STUFF you’ll need:

A few new rooms have been added with the Sick Bay. Here’s what they are and what they’ll earn you:
Decompression Chamber- 175 Clams. Instant Build. Will earn you 10 and 2xp/8hrs. Will ALWAYS drop 1 of Laser Scalpel, Mind Meld for Dummies or (**item not in game**)
Genetics Lab- 600 , 10hr Build. Will earn you 1 and 1xp/2hrs. Chance to drop Hypospray
Medical Lab- 800 , 6hr Build. Wil earn you 2 and 1xp/3hrs. Chance to drop Mind Meld for Dummies.
New Craft to Destory with Phasers
Shielded PeterCrafts are now in the game. They’re bigger and faster than the regular PeterCraft and it’ll take two shots to blow them up. You have to shoot it twice before it disappears off the screen, otherwise it comes back undamaged. So you’ve got to be quick with that trigger finger!
Your first shot you will know it hit if you see the damage on the Shielded PeterCraft. Hit it again before it disappears or it will return shiny and new and you will have to try again.

Need info on the shielded ship. Have shot both ships at once – no luck and it looks like you have to hit the same shop twice on the same screen in order for the hit to count. Still no luck.

You’d think they would have learned their lesson by now about timing issues when it comes to disgruntled players. I suppose there are those heavy spenders that have already unlocked Crusher and Quagmire even though the Phase is less than 2 hrs old. For many, they’re deadlocked at Locutus on the main questline and Lois on the side quest. 30 minutes prior to this release, I hit SF Level 6. My girl is 1/2 way through lvl 5, neither of us have Lois or Locutus and there are still people working on Troi. For newbies first coming to this event, they’re the worst hit by this update. But I digress…. my whole point is what is needed for this phase’s characters. Quagmire’s already working on laser pointers and they make him work on Crusher. Bonnie’s doing the same action for green cubes that is needed elsewhere. They’re listening? I can’t speak for everyone but it would seem to me that in a fit of desperation, they’ve turned up the heat instead of putting out the fire. I’m sure thier churn rate is below expectations but this would be expected as players won’t pay to be denied content. If by the end of this event, I still feel as I do now, they’ll have permanently lost 2 paying players. Consider this my last and final warning TinyCo. I’ll be reiterating as much to upper management at TinyCo after finalizing my thoughts this weekend. Sorry for tossing this out like this but they need to understand, some of the player base is getting fed up with these poor choices. Please allow this to be presented as is. Thank you two for all the good you’ve done.

Le sigh…Just wasted 2 phasers shooting the new larger Petercraft. Decided to check the FAQ before yelling at TinyCo only to find out that these ships need 2 shots each to explode. I’m wondering if this is possible even with spending some clams. I have Whorf but room switched and used taco trucks and play a lot…did I mention, A LOT.

Arrrgh! 42 condoms that can only be got through phaser battles. What about “the pain in the rump repetitiveness of these phaser battles makes people want to quit this game forever” does Tinyco not understand? We struggled through it for a whole week & now more of the same. O & throw a ship into the mix that wastes 2 crystals just to make this week’s release even more frustrating. This event continues to suck royally.

Woohoo! Starfleet level 6 BEFORE the Warp Core upgrade, probably the first time I’ve been ahead of the curve in any FGTQFS event, and I’ve been “on board” since the start – I first played a couple of days after “launch.” Admittedly I’m 13 Felicium short of Starfleet Lois, and 5 Duct Tapes, 6 Batteries and 17 Laser Pointers short of Locutus… AND I’ve inadvertently blown a load of dilithium on Dr Bev before noticing how many new items had been released (meaning that I don’t have enough for my Vulcan High Command yet – I went for Geordi’s VISOR Hut instead for the item drops) and it’s all been done without spending a single cent (or a single penny if you like your currency information to be accurate!) That’s right, no clams have been harmed during the production of this minor miracle 🙂

Wow. 42 rares for Vulcan quagmire, and they only drop from the phaser battles unless you spend clams. They’re really broke lately, I guess, though I can’t imagine how decisions like this help do anything except bring people to the brink of rage quitting. Oh well, c’est la vie, I guess I won’t unlock him. I’d rather not be the victim of manipulation this transparent.

Phase 4 has started off great! It was on time and doesn’t feel as if it will required as much hard work as the other phases. Got the last laser pointer I needed for Locutus at the same time Phase 4 launched! Perfect timing. Now I’m just trying to get the questlines out of the way so I can collect all the items necessary!

This is early anger, rather than early panic. Look at Vulcan Quagmire’s requirements again: 42 RARE items which can only be gotten with Phaser Battles (where each attempt has a 6 hr task prerequisite from characters who are also going to be busy with other things) or using clams to buy event-temporary access to a transporter mission.
If they just want the outfit to be a clam purchase item, why not just come out and label as such?
One more time: 42 RARE items with only 2 ways to earn.

Love that this phase has more to buy with crystals. Now I am gonna want to have def have left over crystals. The artist(s) that did the foilage on this event are quite good. Loving the new chomping plant deco, as well as the previous. Wanna do a forest later around my Star Trek area. 🙂 All around though, I am seeing cool stuff in the art and animation dept.

Hey, I haven’t seen anything about this anywhere else online, but the borg still have yet to spawn in my ship. I just unlocked the sick bay, but I don’t have the Lois skin nor thr Picard Borg because I have to rely on drops from non borg things. I sent tiny co a message via the in game system three days ago, but I haven’t heard back.

It looks like Tiny Co decided they were too easy on us this last week with the laser pointer and felicium requirements. This week, if you don’t buy Planet Vulcan for 100 clams, you will need to get 42 rare space condoms for Vulcan Quagmire entirely by blowing up Petercraft, and I think the ones that need to be blown up for them take 2 shots each to blow up. Seems pretty unreasonable to me.

And again it appears there is at least one thing in Crusher and Quags that is going to be nearly impossible to get without clams (and even then, will still take a while). Crusher is the hypospray (no characters run to get it, and requires 55). Quagmire is the Space Condoms (Planet Vulcan which is clams, or he Peter Craft, which is already stressed enough getting the tough items for Locutus and Lois from last week’s run).
I am an advocate of TinyCo’s odds generator and game balancing in getting stuff (regular freebes can get everything if they are conistent), but even this time I have to wonder if they have rebalanced towards getting more clams.

Yup, I am with you on this. Have seen all of the comments about the “cash grab” for this event, but held off until now.
I’ve spent USD $40 on this event alone, and still am 8/25 on Felicium, 17/35 on Laser Pointers, and 22/40 on Batteries.
I now have over 100 “Transporter” gems, 20K in Dilithium, etc, etc, etc.
Transporter use to get Batteries and Phaser gems even with max members sent is pitiful in returns, especially in regards to results/other opportunity costs lost. SOMEONE at TinyCo took an Economics class, and realized that almost no one else does >X^)P
But only basic Economics. They missed the “better to get 5% of 1000 pies, than 20% of 100”. That or they are going for the “10% of purchasers are addicts who will pay anything, who cares about how we affect their lives… we got ours.”
For me, it actually helps. I was teetering on how much more I wanted to participate in this game… and they actually made the South Park episode spoof a reality. Just regret the $20 I spent because I loved Star Trek/ST:NG so much… lol, but now they have spoiled even that childhood memory.
Anyone else notice that Bonnie has stopped dropping Batteries? Even as an Economist, it IS statistically possible for a “common” drop % wise as noted to fail 12 times in a row today… but possible is not probable
Anywho, going to apply for all proceeds given to TinyCo back. Google/Android is pretty good with that, and as well AMEX being even better if Google gets shy.

as if needing 35 rare items wasn’t enough from one character task for locutus we need 42 rare items from one task to unlock quagmires skin. I’m sorry but the drop rates/requirements for this event are ridiculous.
I’m not even a freemium player I havethe three starfleet buildings in my quahog, I’ve been doing room switching all the way through and I’m on the game throughout the day everyday
I admit the previous events were probably to easy but this is almost impossible.

I am so sorry to hear that. 😦 This event has been extremely challenging I know, BUT don’t give up! I have succumbed to the fact that I may not for once or twice or even thrice, get all the freemium items available, but I am not gonna quit trying to get what I can. This is afterall, The Quest for Stuff! And I know that more often than not, TinyCo eventually comes through and rewards us players in some way. So hang on there if you can!

And on an even happier note just need one more laser for Borg Pikard. 😀 hopefully tomorrow, as got all my new tasks started and heading for bed soon, as 11.30 here in the UK. 😴

I wonder how many players really read the questline dialog as TinyCo still doesn’t make the text larger. So it’s pretty easy to miss information when you’ve grown accustomed to dialog only being somewhat funny and worthwhile…

People really need to do it more often. Especially in Events as it is widely known there is ALWAYS a tutorial built into them. Every event… the tutorial was in there. Part of the requirements to move on. Read this, do this, understand that. I get people don’t understand things, but there is a point that you can not blame a company for not taking the time yourself to seek out the information that is there. They do put it all over. So unless you are expecting a personal telephone call from them everytime something hits the game, there is not much more than can do to tell you the specifics.
Their Twitter is there. Their Facebook is there. Their FAQ is always there and has details as soon as the items go live. Community sites like this very one are here…. and how do you think WE get the info? EVERYTHING we get we pull right from the game. No other game out there to date in Mobile apps has offered so much easily accessed details.

Of the 4 items, only 2 are useful for VQ, that’s a 50% chance based on a 100% drop rate, and we all know what the “USUAL” drop rates are like!!!!!

sometime in a future update itd be nice to get more empty space in quohog so its easier to arrange all the buildings and decorations in a way thats both aesthetically pleasing and makes it easier to click the buildings when they are done collecting rent or whatever

I’m still a bit confused by the warp core leveling. the number on the bottom of my screen says 5 (almost full, ready to turn into a 6). I click on the warp core & it says I’m at level 3 on the top of the screen! either way I’m locked out of the sick bay (although I still need a few more of those yellow cubes to fully unlock so… no harm or fowl yet.

You are looking at 2 completely different things. The Starfleet XP Level (lower right of your game) vs the Warp Core Level (in the Warp Core)

✨wow well I’m leveled up to Starfleet Level 6! Got to it sometime yesterday and ONLY thing I haven’t completed yet is unlocking Locutus! I need like 15 more Laser Pointers that is all. I JUST upgraded the WarpCore to Level 4 and unlocked the Sick Bay and no other NEW questlines have popped up yet. 😛

Well the Warp Core and Starfleet XP Levels are two different things. In order to go to Warp Core Level 4, you need your Starfleet XP Level at 6
