Head over to your Enterprise and upgrade to Warp Core 5 (if you’ve met the requirements). This week we’ll unlocked the Holodeck, Data and Talosian Stewie.

PHASER BATTLES
A new Craft has joined in the Phaser Battling fun, the Romulan Warbird. They will phase in n out (on screen about 5 seconds), so you gotta shoot them while you can. It is easiest to tap right on the CENTER of one the moment it appears. It will only take ONE shot to destroy it and get a Microchip (along with some possible Dilithium Crystals & XP)
Side Note: it ALSO drops Condoms for Vulcan Quagmire… so GO FOR THE BIRD. BIRD IS THE WORD!! Lol
(I do not see them anymore on the Shielded PeterCraft or Warbird in some games, waiting for verification… my suggestion is to HOLD OFF right now if it is not working properly for you)
UPDATE 4/17: If you are in Week 4, you will still see the PeterCraft. If you are in Week 5, you will now see just the Warbird, but it should now still drop Condoms to help you still get Vulcan Quagmire or Emotion Chips.
If you are updated, but still need Laser Pointers… send them an in game support ticket right away please.
A reader noted that if they shot an Asteroid too with the Warship, it helped dropped both items. As I have Quagmire, I am unable to confirm it. Try it if you’d like.
NEW BOSS TO BATTLE- BORG BERTRAM
Over by the Holodeck you will notice the New Robotic Character ready to do Battle. It happens to be Bertram. So just how do you defeat him? (We will go into a LOT more detail on this in another post too.)
Once you tap on him, you will start the first 24hr clock for Battle. You will have 24hrs to defeat his Heart Level and Send him into “time out” to get Dark Matter Payouts.

Time to Defeat: 24hrs (keep going as long as you can and as far as you can.)
Cool Down Period: 4hrs.
If you can defeat him within the 24 hr timer, he will Cool Down and reawaken in the Next Level Up Form with better payouts. (Drill Master Borg/ Laser Borg Bertram)
If you do not defeat him within th e24 hr timer, he will Cool Down and reawakend at the lowest Battle Level (Clawed Borg Bertram)
You can see your progress on the Heart Meter as you battle him. 
Side Note: As with the Yeti Battles from Christmas, only tap ONE Character to complete the battle when you are down to the last few. This will allow all the other Characters you are using to keep battling him on Cool Down, but you MUST have them start the battle BEFORE he starts the Cool Down. By doing this, you will save 4 hrs of battling time as once he’s done cooling down you restart his next fight you will have Characters ready to tap and attack right away. Just do NOT tap the Check Marks til you start him up again. 🙂
TRIBBLES NO MORE ?
Double checking to make sure, but it looks like this Phase 5 is when the Tribbles finally stopped. I have to say I am grateful they stayed as long as they did as originally they were set to end in Phase 1. So all that extra time with them was a bonus.
Good News… they seem to be squeekin back on board again. Longer spawn time, less of them… but some are showing back round the Enterprise. So take a look and see if they’re there for you too.

There is a LOT of info we are still going through and will continue to update as we play it out live, but this should at least get you started on it all. **** it, why did they take away the space condom drop from shielded petercraft? I wasted 2 phaser energy blowing one up, and then only got the datachip from the warbird I blew up. I’m only 2 space condoms away from Vulcan quagmire and now they decide to make it undo able again. That’s really really lame.

How are people supposed to get 27000 dilithium crystals in 2 weeks and still get even more crystals for all the other replicator items? I have the premium characters but most of my characters are getting items for Vulcan Quagmire, Dr. Crusher, and now Data and Talosian Stewie. It seems impossible.

Not sure if anyone else has seen this yet, but I bought the Borg Cube in the replicator and it gave 200 XP (I think, hard to read) but my XP meter didn’t move.

Bunny, I was just thinking with a donation going to charity from players purchasing Spock, well the more who buy the better. I’ve done so already but just thought maybe if TinyCo added the ability for Spock to fight Bertram many more players would spend the clams thus more for the foundation. Maybe something you should suggest to TinyCo.

Very nice update, love the “always” drops after all the massive grinding during the recent weeks. Close to buying my first clams since I started playing the game, I feel like TC’s efforts should be rewarded with some real cash (bugs and issues during the event notwithstanding). So I might jump on the dark matter deal for Spock, Scotty and Khaaan (if I need clams for the last two).
Not sure how I feel about the Bertram battles. Last time during the christmas event, my game was still rather low level so I didn’t really get anywhere with the Yeti battles and it was rather frustrating. Hoping this time around I’ll do better.

Weird. I’m still stuck at The Road to Recovery Pt.6 because I haven’t unlocked Beverly Crusher yet. But then I got the notification for the Vulcan salute statue, I placed it and then Pt.10 where they want you to upgrade warp core starts. I can’t yet, because I’m still Level 7.

While I am glad that TinyCo is donating money to the Nimoy Foundation, I am sad that my favorite character is for clams and, once again, out of my reach. 😦 Making Klingon Meg *only* available after buying three other characters was pretty upsetting too. Haven’t gotten Beverly yet or the Holodeck, and with only two weeks left, this event is, once again, overwhelming (at least to me).
I wish they would extend the event a few weeks, maybe even a month – or at least extend the purchasable characters!

This game is making me sad right now. I love Family Guy and I grew up with Star Trek but this update is just sucking all the fun out of it because I’m at this point just stressed and frustrated that everything takes so **** many drops and nothing is dropping.

For whom is the fencing gear that drops from the sonic shower room cause so far I haven’t noticed it is needed to unlock any character so far?

There appears to be a fencing item waiting to be unlocked in the replicator, so these could be needed to get that. However, right now the fencing gear doesn’t seem to be dropping anyway, even upon completion of building the room. Tried it several times without success.

Is there anything else to spend the LS energy on now? I’d worked hard to save up 120 energy (well, Riker has been thinking a lot…) so as to have some spare for replicator stuff, so I now have about 100 sitting there and the new items don’t consume them. Have I missed something I should be using them for?

I haven’t unlocked the level 5 warp core yet, so no Romulans, but when I just popped two shielded Petercraft, one of them did drop a Condom. I think TinyCo went back to the old drop rate.

Ok. Had Troi, Worf and Vulcan Quagmire taking care of the Borg and only Troi and Quagmire dropped disks for Data. Worf did not. So those disks are not always as they said they are.

In mine it just says “Buy $9.99 worth of clams”, it doesn’t seem to say if it only applies to that, or if it is the minimum amount. I hope it is a minimum, because I wanted to add more, but I would love to get that Dark Matter to get ahead of the battles.

I wanted to buy the 1600 clams but this are broken on android/Googleplay/for me. Was in contact with the support since the beginning of the event. It is a known bug.
So i bought again the next lower one (which is a Little bit sad, because i got from the two clam boughts of mine during the events lesser clams for more money in comparison. I was willing to buy for more. When it had worked i would have bought more rooms etc. But so i was limited in what i was spending.)
But i got the dark matter also with the 625 clams or what this amount is.

Only unlocked crusher and vulcan Q yesterday but the new storyline is now running as well as road to recovery 🙂
So much to do now… looks possible this time as well. Need loads of dilihium but looks like you can basically trade TE for this using the transporter (once the characters have finished collecting other stuff).
Would like Spock but have a policy of not buying pure premium characters tho I do have loads of clams sitting around after purchasing the dark matter deal…

I haven’t unlocked stewie yet so I’m glad i can still get the costume. I haven’t been playing TQFS for long and this is first event I’ve played from from the start and I’ve really enjoyed it. Just unlocked the holodeck and have got this far with out having to spend a clam!

Also, what’s the point of putting Stevie’s costume in the replicator if none of the items required for him are replicator items? Wouldn’t it make more sense for him to be in Al’s?

I think its a way for players who haven’t unlock Stewie to be able to use his talosian skin as he is needed to shoot Betram for dark energies.
Original Stewie will take months to unlock and this event only have less than 2 week to go.

So at least 5 new characters plus 2 new skins for the last 2 weeks of the event, holy cow! Might see another costume along the way(I saw a pic of Consuela’s FS page with a 3rd costume for her that looked very Borg Queen).
Hopped in and got Spock, the Borg high school, and the 2 kittens to get me started. Should be a crazy final 2 weeks.

Yeah it is Borg consuela look in the warp core there is a new warp core upgrade containing Borg consuela and more versions of Borg Bertram but you need warp core 10

If you get Data and collect the 5 main characters of this event you get 50 clams putting you just over the edge of affording Spock 🙂

With the Romulan Warbird, I had a large amount of phaser energy stored and destroyed it enough times to get all the items for Data BUT since then I have hit it five times and didn’t receive any space condoms.

From what I can see the new room drops an item we don’t need yet. Used the 4 extra spaces to rebuild some rooms i had storage. Maximise those xp and crystal payouts!

So interesting thing. I only unlocked Beverly just today so i was on Road to recovery 6. had one more red shirt to go. when i popped the warp core to level it up it opened road to recovery 10. I had both 6 and 10 open so it looks like they are letting me progress without having to do the last 4 quests.

Lot to take in again but that’s not what I’m here for, I just wanted say great move by TinyCo regarding Spock. Not only was the character of Spock one of the best created but from everything I’ve heard and read Leonard Nimoy was a lovely man. I personally loved him as William Bell in Fringe.

So did any one take advantage of the Heranus Mystery Box? After you get all items, the box would only give clams!! That is until they fixed it and added the dark matter 😛

The warbird does not drop space condoms, neither does sheilded Peter. I had 30 phasers saved just in case there was something else in the event that needed phasers other than for Vulcan quagmire. Seeing as phasers weren’t needed I thought i’d use them and I thought once you collected all the data chips, the romulon bird would start dropping condoms. Unfortunately not 😦 . I now have completed collecting the data chips and neither the romulon bird or sheilded Peter are dropping condoms. And I have no phasers left, so once one of them start dropping it’s going to take me a while to get enough phasers again for quagmire. So my helpful tip would be to wait if you still need condoms, and I can verify that the romulon bird always drops data chips.

I have destroyed 17 Warbirds since midnight last night (almost 10 hours) and I have gotten 15 of Data’s chips, all of those were in a row, right around midnight. I woke up and I got 2 more shots… both condoms. So, it seems that it will drop both. I only need 10 more condoms for Quagmire, but also still need 10 chips for Data.

i just shot the warbird 5 times and only got microchips but want condoms. any idea how often the condoms drop?

So, currently, I have no way to finish Vulcan Quagmire with no more condom drops. And I was 10 away from unlocking him.
Not without spending clams for a character or planet I have no interest in. (Q. and/or. Vulcan). Which I won’t do.

Just to add to this, I got all 25 microchips, tapped the checkmark for them next to Data’s head, and THEN shot the warbird 5 more times and didn’t get a single condom.
I also destroyed the shielded petercraft once and didn’t get any condoms from that either. So that doesn’t seem to be dropping them either. At least not “always” like it was last week.

The new update is so overwhelming…. There’s so much to do I don’t know where to start. I’ve brought spoke and got Captain Picard’s outfit. I also used some clams on the new planet, 1 of the prizes is a skin for James wood high that drops an item for 1 of the new characters. I won the skin but now James wood high looks like the Griffins house with the Valentine’s Day collations on it. I have let tinyco know. How many characters do you think I should use to trying to defeat The 1st Bertram? I think I have got 3 fighting him at the moment but I’m not sure if I should just use Chris and use the other 2 for collecting things. I’m so confused. Loving the new update but it looks like it’s gonna take along time

They changed the space condoms to the warbird. Blowing up the shielded peter craft does nothing now. So that was some wasted phaser energy figuring that out. How is the warbird going to drop stuff for DATA (always) and for Quagmire????

I am still getting them off the shielded peter however they are no longer dropping ALWAYS. If you could find out if this is a glitch since adding the warbird would be great as I don’t want to waste my energy!

I got two out of three space condoms from Shielded Petercraft this morning. Plus, have warbirds in red disc as well and you get the data chip too!

My warbirds have only and always dropped for Data so far. 2 hits on big Peter ships are still dropping space condoms for me.

The more this event piles on, the less I enjoy it. My only wish now is that TinyCo would extend this event by 2-3 weeks without adding anything.
I lost a large amount of sleep battling those darn Yetis in the Christmas event, so if battling Borg Bertram is the only clam-free way to earn Dark Matter needed for Kirk etc then I’m sunk.

Did they change the drops? The shielded peter ship is no longer always dropping space condoms. Quagmire shows you get them from romulan warbirds. Shot them and they are dropping chips for data. I stored up a lot for shots and now it’s not working.

I was hoping for an additional character I could earn relevant stuff with.
Surely both Locutus and Picard should be skins for Patrick Stewart, anyway, rather than have two of them running about Quahog after the event.

I really hated the yeti from the Christmas event! Not happy to see that back in another event. I’m not going to bother this time.

Amen to this. The yeti was by far the worst, worst, worst part of the Xmas event. It’s not the concept itself that was the problem; it was that you couldn’t possibly get more than a trivial victory from him, without paying for a ton of premium characters. Instead of the usual “no clams means you have to do more work” approach the game usually takes, the yeti was “no clams means you are locked out of this integral part of the event.”
Didn’t everyone say in their poll comments how awful the yeti was? Did that fall on totally deaf ears?
That said, it’s obvious that the Trek event has had a huge amount of planning behind it. The graphics and the recording sessions probably took a few months to put together. So I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this event were designed before the Xmas event even went live.

I just shot the shielded petercraft twice. second time the Romulan Warbird was behind it. It said I hit 2 objects and only gave me the chip for Data and no condom. I’m still behind and need to unlock quagmire and Beverly but I’m getting very annoyed.
