MYSTERY BOX PRIZES

Borg Assimilated James Woods HighBorg Assimilated James Woods High (Building Facade): Sits on a 9×10 base. Pays out 10 Dilithium Crystals & 2 Starfleet XP every 8hrs,  Chance Cat Food. It is not currently animated, but the colors of it give it the appearance it is glowing.  I really like the look of this one. I may just leave this as the skin for James Woods from now on. Put a Borg Cube next to it and the Monolith and it looks REALLY cool. 😉

The GameThe Game (Decoration): Sits on a 3×3 base. Interesting Decoration. It actually is animated. The lights, lil tubes, and disks all move around on the board back and forth. The Game is actually also the name of the Star Trek: The Next Generation Episode in which “The Game” appears. (Season 5, Episode 6). While vacationing at their usual favorite Planet, Risa, Riker is taught “The Game”. He brings it back to teach to the crew. Unbeknownst to them, it is intentionally a mind controlling device and they all become pawns to the Ktarians.

Spot the CatSpot the Cat (Moving Decoration): This lil kitty will wander round your Quahog and Sidewalks with the rest of the Characters. When tapped, it will play with his lil green ball. Spot actually is the Cat that belongs to Data. You can see it all over throughout the episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation and see Data’s love for it. He even writes it a poem. You will catch Spot first in Season 4, Episode 11: Data’s Day.

Borg KittenBorg Kitten (Moving Decoration): This is another wandering item that will roam the sidewalks and town of Quahog. Currently no additional animation, though it would be cool if it had working lasssssser beams. Lol. I think it is cute and adorable as heck and I wanted it and got it. 😉

PeterCraftPeterCraft (Decoration): Sits on a 3×6 base. Currently no animation. Though it appears to be set slightly hovering above the ground. This one will go to my Starport Airport with the rest of them.

Shielded PeterCraftShielded PeterCraft (Decoration): Sits on a 4×5 base. Currently no animation. Though it appears to be set slightly hovering above the ground. This one will go to my Starport Airport with the rest of them.

BUNNY’S RESULTS

This Mystery Box was VERY kind to me. I was quite happy with my results and overall payout on it.

Here are my results.
6 Dark Matter
The Game
PeterCraft
Spot the Cat
100 Clams
125 Clams
4 Dark Matter
4 Dark Matter
Borg Kitten
125 Clams
Borg Assimilated James Woods High
125 Clams
Shielded PeterCraft

So I not only got all the items in the Mystery Box, but on top of that 475 Clams. 900 Clams to buy in, 475 back, so this one only cost me 475 to get everything. Plus the helpful 14 Dark Matter. Not to bad at all.
Remember… Every Players luck will vary from mine, but that gives you and overall idea how my luck went. In the end it is always YOUR choice to invest into the game and use your precious Clams to gain items. Just make sure it is what YOU want to do.

How about your luck? Did you give it a try? Did you get the items you wanted? Worth it to you? What were your results with it? Let us know your thoughts.

  1. This is tough! I spent a total of 400 clams on the first two boxes and got energy 3/4 times. I like all of the items offered but if I get energy again I will be sad.

    • If you are saved to an Email or Facebook…. it is just a matter of logging into that account. Word of caution (as I do this all the time switching between accounts)… watch WHO’s game is being loaded. ALWAYS choose option to LOAD. NEVER choose LINK. If you do… it will make your game linked to his or vice versa.

  4. Bunny, there is additional animation for the Borg kitteh, but it is very random, sort of like double plutonium! Every once in a great while, bird will circle above his head, and he will disintegrate him with a laser! I have seen it twice, but like a watched pot, if i concentrate on watching him, it doesn’t happen!

This was a cool box, and other than the petercraft, which I don’t care if i ever see again, I loved all the stuff, the school skin and the two kittehs, and the game turned my romulan bar into a disco ala saturday night fever! *chuckle*

    • Mine did that once… then stopped. I don’t know if they killed the animation…. or it is just glitching. But until I saw it back in full swing… I didn’t note it was there. 😉

      • Ahh, that might be why I have not seen it in such a long time, although, I do not spend a lot of time looking at the screen *chuckle* I hope if it was a glitch, or something they stopped, they bring it on full time, because it was so cute!

    • Oh man Robyn. You cannot remind me about the cute Kitty! No!!!

      • Sorry about that! Seriously though, of all the stuff that was available to win, my first goal was the stewie costume, just because I thought it was cute, the next, was a tribble, because that is the only thing old school star trek I really liked coming in to this event, and then when it was made available, the borg kitteh! Everything from this point forward is gravy! *chuckle*

  5. Is anyone else having issues with items still being produced after the requirements have been forfilled? Specifically the items for the Star Trek Stewie-it is interfering with me getting other items needed under the same actions used to earn Stewie’s stuff.

  6. Hey everyone,
These kind of mystery boxes are one of the reasons I can’t get myself to live this game. For this game I am completely freemium. I feel like these boxes are quite expensive and you might not get what you want. I think they should sell these item separately, one by one or maybe give the boxes out as a prize, like TSTO does with the mystery box. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the family guy game, I just think it’s a bit expensive and it’s very hard to keep up and stay freemium. I will probably get most the freemium prizes for this event but I am a very frequent player. The last point I’ll make about this is the Bertram Borg battles. I haven’t unlocked stewie yet(only been playing since the valentines day event) so I only have Chris and Geordi battling. I’ve unlocked dr. Crusher but I am still 8 laser pointers from unlocking locutus. Then I have to get 8000 crystals, and enough dark energy to get the Picard skin. Sorry this wasn’t supposed to be a rant but it did sort of turn into one.
I’ll end with a question. Is it possible to defeat the 3rd level of Bertram and hold it there with just Chris and Geordi?
    Thanx and have fun.

    • You forget they DO offer Mystery Boxes to Freemiums. There is usually one every event to get items from. 😉 Remember… this is NOT TSTO, so as much as you want them to be identical… I do not. Not in any way shape or form. Two identical games are boring. I want different.

If you have some cool suggestions for them in changing the way they offer items from the Mystery Boxes, please share it with them. Offer them some ideas and back it up with reasoning as to why you feel it would be better for them and the community. Offer a different perspective. They eat that stuff up. 😉

If you want an idea on the Battles… best to go to the Battles. 😉

    • I hear you matthewgonemad. I have played mainly freemium with this game. However, I have shelled out a generous amt of clams. This game that we love, can be very, very, very expensive. I loved when TinyCo did the ‘Best of” mystery boxes. I was able to get a few things guaranteed, that I was NOT able to win freemium during the actual events. More of the guaranteed, of what we do not currently have, Mystery boxes TinyCo, Please!!!

  7. My run on the Heranus Mystery Box was pretty much the best I’d ever encountered. This was after they put it back up.
It got me on of every unique / non-material / non-clam prize one at a time til only the clams and dark matter were left.
Then a couple days later I tried once and got the four dark matter.

  8. Got over a million coins accumulated. Any chance tinyco will allow a premium character/item/room purchase with coins instead of clams? Or maybe an energy purchase? I’d happily give a million coins toward more phaser energy to shoot romulan birds.

  10. I really wanted the Borg school skin and got: Spot, The Game, the Borg Assimilated James Woods High, 6 Dark Matter, and the Borg Kitten. Wouk have stopped after getting the Borg Assimilated skin but I had to dive back in once I saw it was a moving deco. Figured it was just gonna be like the Diabeto situation.

I would totally love a flaming Red Shirt deco though. It would compliment the flaming chicken after the event! lol

  11. Decided to go for this box mainly for the high school skin as thus far I have every building skin and wanted to keep that up. Tried eight times and got everything besides spot along with 14 dark matter. Stopped once I got the high school skin. It looks awesome.

  12. I was hoping the borg kitten would have been in a freemium box that is the usual practice of TC late in their events. Oh well, no borg kitty for me except in the Locutus task. The only other item I like is the asimmilated Jame Woods facade.

    • There is still the usual freemium mystery box coming up. After all what else are suppose to use the left over event currency on once your done with Phase 6? 😉

  13. As always, thanks so much for the post Bunny. 🙂 I haven’t given it a try yet. I decided I would wait to see what the last phase brings and then if I have any clams left over, I will use them for mystery boxes. It was good to hear that the odds were better for you on this mystery box than previous ones. I know there was one you spent a fortune on! BTW, you must have the most stuff of any Quahogian in the game! 🙂
