I opened Rupert’s box about 25 or so times before getting the Red Shirt. And I’ve gotten everything except for Warp Core Level 5 and…for some reason…NO yellow tribbles. I’ve got 9 each of the brown and beige, but oddly, it refuses to give me the yellow. Maybe I should be happy with the Yellow Tribble decoration from the Replicator, because I don’t really see the point in opening more.

I’m honestly pretty disappointed at the drop rates for the Synthesizer Ore (especially after Uhura and the Gold Borg Bertram Statue were added) and the Starfleet Rupert Mystery Box, which I’m certain is broken somehow. I’ve gotten a Tribble literally TWENTY times now–a total cost of 10,000 Crystals spent on JUST TRIBBLES. However, I still haven’t gotten ANY Flaming Red Shirts or the Heranus deco (though I did get the other two planets already), and I’ve also gotten TWO Computer Bank deco’s. I thought the Computer Bank would disappear after I got it the first time, but it’s still in there. Tribbles are cool and all, but I really want all 3 planets and at least one Flaming Red Shirt! Literally spent every last Crystal on that **** box and still can’t get the last couple non-Tribble items…

Finaly blew through my dilithium with the Rupert boxes. I got at least one of everything, except the computer bank! Figures, I really didn’t care about the flaming red shirt, but was hoping for at least 1 or 2 computer banks. 😛 Fingers crossed that my last chance with the 7 hours left in the game will give me a computer (wish the tribbles had a max repeat number, really don’t need and army of things to accidentally tap on roaming around, personally)

I don’t know why is everyone complainning, I won the flaming red shirt at first try. Naahh, lol, I’m kidding. I’ve already spent over 40K crystals to no avail. Is anybody interested in adopting a tribble or a dozen?

Uh, I made the mistake of releasing a few of Rupert’s tribbles from inventory. How do I get them back into inventory hibernation? They’re cute but useless. I do hope there’s a way…
Also- will Locutus still be able to play with the Borg kitten after the event ends? He really needs that kitten. I don’t have clams to try to win the kitten by itself (unless Rupert is hiding one in his box for dilithium crystals).

Just tap on it and tap the Inventory Icon to store it.
Will have to see what stays after the Event ends, but I assume that task will. It’s one of my favorites too.

I’ve tried tapping on the little buggers (also trying to hold them down as I do with buildings and other decorations) but they just keep moving. So the circle with inventory option never comes up although the label does (“brown tribble”). I’m on an iPhone 5s, iOS 8 (not the latest 8 but the one before the latest). Is there a special trick to the tap that I could try? Thanks for any ideas.
The Borg kitten playing with his laser beam is the only thing that made it worthwhile for me to unlock Locutus…. It was so annoying, I really only wanted Starfleet Lois but Locutus’ needs kept interfering with my collecting that interesting white powder in baggies for Lois in the Petercraft shoot! Just unlocked her today after pervy Quagmire started helping with the laser sticks for Locutus. I’ve only been playing since about April 20, so I’m amazed I even made it to the Enterprise — no complaints! I thought I’d be stuck collecting beard trimmers for Riker until the end of the event (he looked like he really needed a first aid kit and a few ace bandages instead).

Zoom in really really close. Try to get a time when all your Characters are gone. Usually it is just one tap only that will trigger the pop up that tells you what it is and shows that lil teeny blue Inventory Icon next to the name of the item to toss it in Inventory.

I think I know why it doesn’t work (I don’t see the inventory icon you mention). I looked at the faq again and it says moving decos can’t be stored until District 5 is unlocked, which I haven’t done yet. So I’ll save your instructions for when I get to District 5. Thanks for your help.

I could do without all of the warpcores. I will put them away and probably never bring them out again. Kinda like the different color portals for whatever that event was. Tribbles I don’t mind. Wanted a red shirt, but will probably get more warp cores or tribbles. We will see.

Well, I’ll tell you, 28,000 Dilithium Crystals does NOT get ME a flaming red shirt!!! I wonder what the record is?
With little more than 24 hours till the event ends, and I’ve gotten MOST of my heart’s desires. I want one more Coffin Ejector 5000 (I have three that I fire consecutively to attack Starfleet Academy), more purple bushes, and, of course, A FLAMING RED SHIRT!
If they have any last minute items (I’m waiting for a walking-around Borg), I may just have to wait until next year’s “Best of 2015” event to get the flamer. 😊

Please no more tribbles, it wouldn’t be so bad if I was getting computers cause I could use those, but in trying for red-shirt I’ve got over 20 tribbles, a few of each color sure bu this is getting ridiculous.

It took many crystals but i got flaming red shirt but he doesn’t show up in my quahog I released him but i cant see him and cant buy another one does any one know how to fix this

He will run all over. Just like your Characters. So if you released him from your Inventory… check ALL of Quahog. Especially if your roads are behind objects.

Still no Flaming Red-Shirt. Have one of everything, plus 20 assorted tribbles. I come out of this down some cash for clams but with all the chars. Tiny Co come out of it not smelling like roses.

It will take you a bit. Look at my results and others in the comments section.
You do get to keep rooms you purchased in some form after the Event. Whether you got them by Clams or by Dilithium Crystals.

How is everyone getting all the DC for this? I’ve been grinding non-stop, and after unlocking Data, Tal. Stewie, and the rest of the regular crew, I’m only at 5k on my way to Kirk. Extremely frustrating. Love all the stuff coming out, but it seems like for different events, I’m either way above what I need and buying pointless things, or so far off its hopeless.

Keep sending team to cube, I get 500 every 2-3 trips with 5 clams thrown in here and there.

If you are not already, grind the transporter/borg planet task. The best chance to fill that 5k. Send all three peeps. 500 dilith/1 hr task. Best chance with Peter, Lois, and Quagmire.:-)

After I got kirk and another character they showed up in inventory with 2 pictures a larger one on the left had a padlock on it. Doesn’t show up like that now. I believe that this was in quahog.

It is a glitch. (Scotty & Kirk) I actually have a shot of them I emailed to TinyCo. They were working on correcting it along with the Enterprise Crash issues.

I love this game and event!! Thought I would be bored since the event was extended until May 7th and I finished all of the side quests but, was so surprised when I opened up my game to find that Tinyco added Uhura and Seven of Nine!! Awesome! Looks like I need to gather me up some more Dark Matter! Gonna be a crazy FINAL week!! Awesome job Tinyco!!!
