Bouncing by to wrap up a few questions for the Week 2 Mobster Event content. Take a look at all the information and see if any of it applies to your concerns.
There are some “Issues” and changes that are causing concern for Players, I will cover the ones that we are seeing the most. Other issues may be more a one on one and need Troubleshooting and personal attention via TinyCo, so take a peek to see if YOUR Q&A is covered.
A lot of this was covered in other posts, like the Week 2 Rundown.
FANCY HEDGE FENCE
When the Event first dropped into the game, some really cool Hedges were dropped into the game for us to use to decorate our towns. These can be found in your Decorations Tab, not the Event Tab for 15 Cookies.
Due to it was being used NOT as intended, there was a change made to it and no XP will drop from them any longer.

iOS & AMAZON PATCH UPDATE
Those that experienced the Crash Issue along with Android, you will have to wait until YOUR App Market pushes the patch to be able to load it. So keep checking your App Market and the Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff App Page to see when “UPDATE” shows so you can get the Patch into your device.

Android Users: Keep in mind, you may still have the basic crashing issues plaguing your device created by poor or low Memory and/or Signal. So to ensure you are getting full results from the patch, take a look at some tips to make sure your game runs a lil more smoothly all the time.

COOKIE TRUCKS
There are some concerns as to the Cookie Trucks with Week 2 hitting the game. Just wanted to refocus on some things I already covered on the Main Week 2 Post.
Gold Cookie Trucks: These will NOT trigger until you open your game. They are SUPPOSED to stay round for 4 hrs to give you time to clear them with 6 goons and get the 5 Boxing Gloves. However, there is some odd things happening with them. They disappear after only moments, you clear them and nothing pops out, they only drop coins… etc. TinyCo is aware of the Issues with them and looking into it. Will report back when I hear more.
UPDATE BUNNY 6/13: Got another Gold Truck, this time it stuck around a while. Sent my 6 Wiseguy Goons to attack it. Took a lil time for each one to wave their bats and then disappear into the ground through a patch of grass they lifted. The last one did the usual of shooting out tires, waving bat to scare Driver &Passenger off, then **POOF** it was gone and that last Wiseguy took off in the getaway car. In the end… 5 Boxing Gloves and 50 Mob Rep popped out and added to my total. (You just tap on Fight Promoter Cleveland’s “i” next to him to extend the information and see the counts.)
Short story long…IT WORKED!!! WOOHOO!!
Purple Cookie Trucks: These WILL still show up in your games, just a lot lot lot less often. In my game it seems to take hours for them to spawn vs the few minutes in Week 1. They now MAX out at 4 in my game. Again, all information I passed on to TinyCo for clarification on a Spawn Rate/Time. Will update once I hear from them.
UPDATE 4PM EST: TinyCo just informed me a patch for the Purple Cookie Trucks just went live. This should help you to see them more often. WOOHOO!! They are still working on the Gold.
MY TASKS WON’T TRIGGER
Many are stating they are not seeing progress in the game. Let’s take a look at the Basics of ensuring your are moving along in your Event.
WHAT tasks do you have open in your Task Menu?
1: If you have a LOT of them, clear some out. Your Task Menu can only hold so many tasks at a time before it gets too crowded. So clear some out to make room for some new ones or you may not see anything new trigger until you do.
2: Take a look at the Task Names & Part #. If you have NOT completed questlines fully to a specific point, you will not see items in the Event unlock nor be able to Upgrade and move on to Week 2.
Week 2 Requires you to Complete Mob Mentality Part 9 (from Week 1)
Many Items in Week 2 Require you to Start Cookie Crumbles Pt 1 (starts in Week 2)
Additional Items Require you to Complete All In Pt 1 (Starts after Cookie Crumbles Pt 1, Around Part 2 Mainly). This is just about progressing in the Casino, not critical. Just keep playing and clearing tasks until it pops up.
DOG FOOD DROPS
For those that did not notice, Goldman’s Pharmacy helps drop Dog Food. They also JUST added Quagmire Giggity Strut to help too. So you can now have 3 sources for the Dog Food Drops.
MOB REP NOT ADDING
There are multiple sides to this one and I have discussed this in depth with TinyCo. Let’s get the Basics out of the way first.
You will see one of these two options happen when you Collect from a completed task, job, etc.
1: Your Mob Rep & Cookies will pop out and at that SAME time the Mob Rep will Instantly add to your total count. This is even BEFORE the Mob Rep Fedora floats over and visually collects to the Mob Rep Icon. In other words you DID get the Mob Rep, you just may not have seen it add as it happened Instantly. But it was added.
2: Your Mob Rep & Cookies will pop out and you either have to tap on the Image Icons or wait for your game to collect them for you. As they float over to the Mob Rep Icon, you will visually see the numbers add to your total. In other words, you see the Fedora float over with the amount (like +5) and see it add as it reaches the Mob Rep Icon
As BOTH of these are happening in the game, Players writing in are missing the “visual” points when the Mob Rep is adding and it “appears” they did not get credit when they did. I have tested this numerous times in my game. I saw both methods happening and both times the total did change as it was supposed to. Just some instantly and others as it collected.
If neither one of these applied to YOUR issue and you did NOT see an increase from Before and After tapping an item, please report it to TinyCo so they can look into it individually for you from your game.

I haven’t seen any gold or blue cookie trucks in couple days and I need 5 boxing gloves to unlock Don King (Cleveland). Any idea what’s going on?

I can’t click on the gold truck to raid it there must be a glitch I have a Samsung galaxy s4 mini it will raid the purple ones but not the gold can you fix this thanks

No. Sorry. We are not TinyCO. We are the Addicts. If you have an issue within your game that basic troubleshooting will not help to clear up, you will need to Contact TinyCo from your game menu.

Do you have a thread on here addressing log in issues for ipads where it asks for an upgrade but there is no upgrade in the App Store? I tried sending a comment to tinyco at their website, but sadly, nothing happens when I press send (well, something does, two arrows circle around forever). Anyway, here is my post – do you know how to get this to them?

It says my goon capacity is 6/9. 6 out of 9 but it won’t let me hire more. Is that a glitch issue?

I apologize if this is addressed elsewhere and I haven’t found it yet. I bought another trailer to get another goon spot and nothing happened. I have had and continue to have just 6 available to have or hire at a time. I have bought 2 trailers. How many spots should I have?

Quick question for ya…. Since I don’t have Cleveland, I’m not concerned with getting Fight Promoter Cleveland, is there any reason for me to clear the gold trucks (Other than getting the mob rep)?

It is more like NEVER. 14 attempts now, don’t think have had seen any drops (I have 4 tubas because I decided to buy the premium building… first time I have ever done that for material drops)

Just cleared a gold truck at 1620 – and then 3 more gold trucks appeared. I have 2 luchadors in the queue – then I added 4 more goons. I’ll see how long these 3 new trucks hang around – hopefully longer than 4 hours. Maybe tiny co is throwing us a bone – realizing for most we would get new Cleveland skin a day or two before event end – if we got one each day. So hopefully they will have 3-4 each day and we can get the skin in 10 days or so and have time to use him during the event. Off to dinner – but I’ll post later what I find. Although it’ll be 3.5 hours before current queue is finished.

Should the gold trucks always drop? I only ask as I’ve cleared 3 previously and only received coins and mob rep.
I cleared one this morning with the same result, but just now, I cleared one, got gloves and started hiring more goons. My game then crashed so I went back in and there are now 3 gold trucks and my goons are still being created. Is that normal too?

I’ve suddenly got three in mine too. Hope it’s actually a change and not a glitch. Either way, I’m not complaining!

The gold truck appeared first thing his morning and I cleared it. Now I was just making sure I had 6 goons.in the queue for tomorrow morning and I see to has appearred again this evening (twice in a day). Given that I have luchadors on the queue and it is time for sleep (!) It is impossible to clear it. How am I supposed to know when to keep the queue clear?
