Side Note: as this was a GAME WIDE Patch, some of the counts may be off due to they had to add it all across the board (and not one by one), for some of you… BONUS!… you may now have more than you did. For anyone else, please alert them ASAP if you now have less then you did when they disappeared. Tech is on alert to watch for those messages.
UPDATE BUNNY 7/3 345PM EST: Patch is still in progress but hopefully out soon. Hang in there. Help IS coming for the missing Diabeto, Cleveland Jr, and Mr Washee Washee. No more need to message in as the patch is coming. 🙂
UPDATE BUNNY 1230AM EST: Per TinyCo, a patch is in the works on the missing Characters. Please let us know when you got them back after it hits. (Not sure on Patch time frame just yet, just that they are working on it.) They are hoping for tonight, so… looks like another late night here. Bit more to it then they wanted, looking more for tomorrow for the patch. They want to ensure it will correct the issue for all. 😉
For those of you experiencing a Config Error… this is what info we see from TinyCo…
Those Config validation errors have been on our radar for some time, and unfortunately have a couple of different causes. One cause we managed to discover was that certain internet providers (like Sprint and Vodafone) were blocking our connections due to the game being tagged as “mature content” or “malware.” Players can try turning off parental controls or other protection programs to see if that helps.
A Couple of IMPORTANT Notes:
You NEED to be on the 1.9.7 Upgrade for Week 5, so if you didn’t download it make sure you do.
-There are reports of crashing after updating. If this happens to you, contact TinyCo. (they are aware, but more reports help)
-We are aware that many players are reporting Mr Washee Washee & Cleveland Jr are missing. We reported it from our side, please report it also from your game. Will update once we hear anything more on it No more need to write in, they’re working on it. 🙂
-If you’re having crashing issues when trying to upgrade the Mansion…contact TinyCo.

Well…the final week of the Mob Event is here, so hurry into your Tiny Quahogs and load it up! It’s time to upgrade the Fatfather’s Compound and see what’s in store for us this week…
As always we’ll be back with more details as soon as we go through them…
For now know that you should have completed Law of the Land Pt. 9 in order to upgrade the Mansion (At least that’s how it should work, if you haven’t completed it and can still upgrade please let us know..)
You will need to go to your mansion and upgrade before you see anything else appear…

Boss Fight
You had to know it was coming…it wouldn’t be a TinyCo Event without a Boss Fight….
This one’s a little different…this is similar to Fort Nox. Send Goons to defeat Don Corelone. You’ll have 24hrs to continue the streak…each time you defeat him the amount/type of goon will change. You’ll have 24hrs to defeat him and continue the streak. If you don’t the streak will reset back to 0.
The more you defeat him the higher the rewards….
You’ll find Don to defeat in the Event Area…
FYI… this WILL vary for every single player. Bunny (me) Started with 7 Wiseguys needed. So just follow what YOUR game asks for.

Hi there,
I have the latest update installed but I can’t upgrade the mansion – every time I try, the game crashes.
Also (sorry if I post this here, but I didn’t find a thread where to post it), I never received my Eagle statue after completing the 24-hour bonus mission.
I’ve contacted TC about these issues, but I never got a response.
Any ideas?

I hope that they will release another box where you can win the nightclub and the mobster mansion, even they are decorations. Just like the cafe and the movie cinema from the valentine event 🙂

I’m so behind, used to be in the 5,000 area of the world then after 3rd week I started going down because of the lack of drops now I’m 67,000 going hella down… I give up trying, I’m a premium member but not after this event.

If I’m just now starting the Don boss and only have 12 hours left for the day, should I just wait and start tomorrow? Or is missing a day gonna kill the final prize?

Won’t kill the prize. You can still complete it today though, i think the first one only needs 3. So just calculate your time and see what you’ll need and how much time. If 12hrs isn’t enough and just wait till tomorrow

Have you guys heard anything on the game crashing when trying to upgrade mansion? I reported it in game but still unable to upgrade. And of course the first week I’m done on time ready to upgrade I can’t 🙈. Hope they give a little extra time for players who are having so many issues!

I would just like to add my two pennies to all of these requests for an extra week. I also was behind after glitches and the insane tuba drops, so I spent clams to get back to where I’m at. I started the new week only 1/2 day behind because I’ve put in somewhere approaching $100 in clams and I don’t want to see my willingness to spend cash devalued. I’m sure there are many other players that feel like I do.

Anyone else have issue with Steak not always dropping from the Armoured Truck, I cleared two this morning but only had 1 Steak drop.

Any Trucks PRIOR to Week 5 will not be coded to drop week 5 content. (It’s like not updating the app). So tap around on the trucks til you see one that shows the Steak Icon… then send an attack on that one. Clear out the rest of the week 4 ones as soon as you can. (Had same issue with Fries last week 4 content… didn’t drop from couriers leftover from Week 3)
Now if you get one that when tapped shows the steak icon but does not drop a steak… report it.

I think that until the dogs are the target in Don’s area, the truck won’t drop meat. I never had meat drop, but I used clams to clear the dogs each time.

Well if we worked for the man and THEY run this site… they owe us close to $100,000+ for all we have put into OUR SITE plus our salaries (which I doubt they could afford).
But please… continue to make blind attacks and put down the MAIN voice helping change a game when we ask to not flood our helpful posts with unnecessary vents that have a place… and you know this.

Thing is… we get the whining. We know the frustration. We are players too, so we see and feel when things go “wonky” along with everyone else. It is why we intentionally made the “What the Hell” turned to “What the Deuce”. So people had a place to go, get it out of their system, rant/vent away. But in an isolated manner so we can focus TinyCo to that ONE spot and leave the rest of the site… well… OURS. Our help, our tips, our answers.
What we DON’T like is when we ask simply to keep things on a specific post, someone abuses it… multiple times, then when again reminding them… it turns into a personal attack on our Character and nature. THAT is not acceptable. We put a lot into our sites to keep them running, so to be abused for something we put so much in and provide for free… it is quite insulting and uncalled for. To abuse those basics and turn every single post we put so much of our time and effort into some “pitchfork and torch” session on a game we do not even own, run, work for, etc. Well, that is just completely disrespectful. It is essentially like going into someones home you were invited to, trashing the house and making it a complete mess, then when the owner asks you to clean up the mess or take it elsewhere you insult them and blame them for the mess you just made. Cruelty won’t be tolerated. Rightfully so.
You already know we adore you Catalina. You are are sweet person and I was very lucky to meet you. So like I said, being upset about a game… that is fine. Letting us know something is wrong so we can help fix it, just fine. Going to What the Deuce so you can scream at the top of your lungs and get it out, that is fine. You are upset, but HOW you say it is still in a respectful manner to us and our site. Others, well… I wish I could say the same. 😉

Sad thing is, people don’t start out as “jerks” but it seems when someone is upset… they have no issue abusing US for things that they should be taking to the Game Creators and owners… TinyCo. Yet it seems time and time again, people tend to use us to “take out their abuse” on. I guess sitting on the other side of a keyboard seems to make some people think it is OK to talk to another human being in a degrading manner.
I know if I was invited to a strangers home to eat dinner, showed up, didn’t like the catered free meal, then chose to yell and scream at the owners for the Caterers meal, and when the Owner said “hey talk to them, they made it” I then turned on the owner and insulted/degraded them and claimed they were in on it with the Caterers… I would find my backside on the curb. Probably a black eye too. Just sayin. 😉
Not to mention abusing the “house rules”. I know my Gramms would have my hide if I went to her house and didn’t respect the rules.

1) this pisses me off since it blocks me from continuing with the story line…
2) I KNOW for a fact that tinyco will do NOTHING to help me as a player reconcile this problem…
3) EA will definitely reconcile any problem / all problems I have had with them.
so because of this, I will NEVER spend $$$ with TinyCo EVER again.
Sorry to hear a lot of users are experiencing this glitch; the Star Trek event was much better anyway.

First…I’m not condoning either. Honestly both gaming houses have crappy customer service at times. EA isn’t all that much better…i’ve had the same issue for 6 months and they still have no idea how to fix it. The difference is EA has phone reps and chat reps, so it makes you feel like they’re paying attention..even when they don’t fix the problem. And the reason EA has all of that? Because EA has tons of $$$$ as they’re a MASSIVE gaming house.
As far as knowing for a FACT. You don’t know for a FACT…by saying that you’re basically saying they’re never going to fix the problem. So if the problem gets fixed in a day or so are you going to eat your hat?
TinyCo is aware of the issue and working on a patch for it. Unfortunately things like that take a bit of time and don’t happen instantly (and it doesn’t matter if it’s EA OR TinyCo. They take time)…so patience will need to be exercised.

I say I “know” this, because TinyCo never fixed a glitch I reported to them; and their last response to me was how they weren’t responsible, etc etc. and couldn’t do anything to help.
You’d think they do a little more alpha testing before releasing so much limited time event-based content…

I decided to stop playing FG. It’s just not fun game any more, as it’s too painfully obvious that TinyCo is just far too interested in trying to milk the players out of money and then they just don’t even fix the many bugs the game has instead of just cramming in stuff upon stuff that makes the game even more unstable. I might come back in a month ot two, but for now I’ll bid Quahog adieu.

I understand that there may be a patch in the works to fix this, but when I installed the update, Diabeto disappeared. I scrolled through a lot of comments and saw it appeared to be somewhat common for Mr. Washee Washee and Cleveland Jr. To disappear, but wasn’t sure if I’m the only one missing Diabeto. Candy shop is still there, but no roly poly.
I will report it in-game too, but was wondering if you knew anything. Thanks in advance. 🙂

I’ve read through a lot of comments and didn’t see anyone mention any characters except Mr. Washee Washee and Cleveland Jr., but Diabeto disappeared for me before I was able to unlock him. Candy shop is there, but he is missing. I understand they are working on a patch, just hope it includes restoring Diabeto to the game.
I will report in game too, but is this a known error?

Can you clarify a couple of things for those who don’t have Lois?
Is it safe to apply the app upgrade?
And what about the mansion? Can it be upgraded without unlocking Lois’s costume so we can choose to focus on other characters instead?

Worked for me fine on 5 devices. Only scattered reports right now of crashing. Other than that… 3 first characters vanished if still bein unlocked… but patch already in progress.
Without Lois you CAN’T upgrade. As you must complete Law of Land to go on to next Mansion and she’s required for Law of Land. 😉

This event is okay, but like many players here I’m a week behind. It took too damn long to unlock Cleveland, Jr. and Cleveland’s skin, and frankly there’s so much going on with only a few characters acquiring event currency. And I’m not sure I want to drop any money for more premium characters this time around. And what’s with making all of Brian’s skins premium all of a sudden?

Not all of the sudden. He was never set as any kind of a release. He was only in a “placeholder” much like the others. Much like Death and other 4 are still sitting right now in the Characters tab in the Shopping Cart Menu. Placeholders… nothing more. No info on how they’ll be released. Just them and Al’s.
So anything goes once they actually hit the game and release. They could be solo, with a building, in a Mystery Box, in a crafting area, in a District, in an Event… on n on. Who knows til it happens. 😉

Officer scrotes is a really ridiculous character. I don’t see the point of him at all. Looks like I’m not getting Bonnie because she needs 20 lip gloss. This new cookie multiplier doesn’t seem like it will get me anywhere close to the 20k cookies for Tricia’s costume. Very disappointed with this event. Too many moving parts. Also they should replace burnt out Brian in facespace with fight promoter Cleveland as that costume requires clams to procure.

Detective scrotes was put together in a new group called Mafia soldiers for 35 clams completion on facespace including Diabeto, Cleveland Jr and washee washee.
Kingpin Consuela is now joined together with collection of Spooner St. Mafia for 25 clams.

My game is crashing when I try to upgrade the mansion so having worked hard to be ready am now stuck. I was cruising at 7000 in the leaderboards but since the update hit I have dropped more than 3000 places due to not being able to progress. This is exactly why leaderboards are a bad idea in a game that has these problems.

Just saved up 8 tommy guns and a wise guy to do all Ft Nox at once. Killed it. Then clicked to watch video. Some error message about “child error label missing” and it crashed. Reset to see no reward for Nox, as it rewound time BUT my tommies and wise guys were gone! No rewards – only loss of time. This game is getting too buggy even for me. That just hosed 12.5 hours saving those guns.

Based on your opinion (Bunny or Alissa) do u think they will extend the event? Im a whole week behind and I’ve already given up on getting cleveland and tricia’s outfit ( I have all the items for Tricia, just not enough cookies) This is the first event where I’ve had to just accept defeat and miss out on items because I was locked out for 4 days and got behind. =(

Im so over this event already. Between the amount of cookies you need for lois & tricia, special 24 hour tasks that i felt were nearly impossible without clams, and slow drop rates not only holding up progress in the main story line but also leaving you unable to do the first 24 hour slecial task this event is a total washout. Not even able to upgrade the mansion yet and even if i did a bunch more cookies for bonnie that i need and dont have. My view, this event was unfun.

Don will provide those “extra cookies” you need. You do NOT need Tricia to move on. She is a “final Character”. Just like every previous event. Just like every previous Event… a TON of currency comes from the final “Boss Fight”.

From the initial looks of things, beating fort Nox gives 2x the cookies as the final don battle…the first don battle says 50 cookies, x5 for he final multiplier is only 250.

As with previous Events… the Payout amount can change. So it may say 50 now and a 1X multiplier… but by the end you may be looking at a 500 or even 1000 x multiplier. We will know more once we move through the levels ourselves. 😉

yeah but no help if I never get up to the don. nowhere near upgrading to this week, as it took so bloody long to unlock the last week. I didn’t have any crashing issues and I’m still heaps far behind.

While I love the game I have been very frustrated with this particular event. The first week I made very little progress as the game was constantly crashing. And the drop rate for characters was so bad that it took me almost three weeks to unlocking cleveland jr. Specifically the drop for tubas. Also after the new update mr washy washy has dissapared from my game making it impossible to upgrade the mansion to continue on in the event. With only one week left I am not sure if I will be able to unlock king pin consuela. Or even unlocking any other characters for that matter. With the constant crashing and terrible drop rates, it seems as if tiny Co is only after our money. Making it impossible to complete the event without spending 100 ‘ s of dollars… not worth the time I spend playing…

All I needed was 1 more tape for mr Washee and when it was upgraded it all disappeared, also I needed him to wash a stain but he’s gone and I can’t continue, please help.

Hey…a little tidbit.
I see how every one is complaining mr washee washee is gone…including me. If you go to support and help, and look up the event, itll take a bunch of digging but there is something that states ‘mr washee washee will disappear thursday july 2’
I’m a little irked we weren’t told more directly. I wouldve put more effort into him and less into tricia at the moment,

Where on earth does it say that? The FAQ ALWAYS has said since his launch… “You will have until Thursday, July 9th to completely unlock him. If he is not completely unlocked, he will disappear from the game at that time.” So not sure where you are getting that date info, but it is inaccurate and completely wrong. ALL characters have till end of Event to unlock unless otherwise timed (which so far… none).

Go in to help and support…click on the event…go through it until you find a post about mr washee washee (for me it was about 1/4 of the way down). Read through everything you need for him…at the very bottom it says ‘character will be available until thursday july 2, after that it is gone.’
If I could post a screenshot of it I would.

He’s supposed to be available until the 9th. TinyCo is aware of the issue and working on a patch for it. Unfortunately things like that take a bit of time and don’t happen instantly…so patience will need to be exercised.

Are the cookie trucks gone now? I updated and I don’t have any. I am only 10 gloves away from fight promoter Cleveland and as I’m about a week behind he’s going to be the only one I can get. Lois is out of the question at this point. I have everything for Tricia except the cookies and I only have about 6k so she’s probably out. I just want to finish Cleveland at this point.

How in the world are you expected to get the 7000 cookies for Lois, 5000 cookies for the golden crane,20000 cookies for Tricia, and I’m sure there are multiple new buildings and other characters In the last week needed….I mean I’m am in the top 5000 for mob rep and yet am currently at 3500 cookies. I play every hour including putting all characters on shortest task for cookies…also in order,to get Cleveland promoter it cost almost 2000 cookies and gold trucks do not drop cookies in return……obviously emailing tiny co very politely gets no where. Any one have ideas on how to get cookies? Obviously spend clams on cookies machines….anything else

See the Don Run down. Those “Boss Fights” ALWAYS give a boost to Event Currency. Every single Event. 😉

But you can’t defeat the Don without upgrading, and you can’t upgrade without Mob wife Lois, and you can’t get her without another billion cookies that I don’t have because I bought Tricia. *sigh* I didn’t have the weekly character for the prior upgrades so had no idea Lois would be required this time. Arg!!!

Hmmm. Don’t know what to tell you there then. Sorry. Those “High Currency” Characters should ALWAYS be left for last. Takei, Kirk, etc. Always the last thing on your list as they are not required to progress. They are a “final Character”.

That all sounds good but in order to “boss fight” you must already have Lois. And to the point where I still 4000 cookies short of that while already having the rest of her items is very very very frustrating..

I understand that… but you asked how… I am telling you “how”. Don’t focus on Tricia. Don’t focus on decorations. ONLY get what you need to make it through the level, THEN focus on Don and see where you are on the LAST day of the Event. Same info we give out every other Event.
Anything beyond that… take it up with TinyCo. Remember… the ADDICTS are here to help. So allow us to help. Don’t get upset at us for doing so. 😉

I built it. Once it’s built the timer counts down to zero and stays there with no checkmark. I’m sure this is just one of the many errors that will be fixed at some point now that all of us beta testers have been able to give feedback. And by beta testers of course I mean anyone who has the game installed.

Sheesh! Things just got started and there is already a 24 hour challenge! The challenge is about creating goons, but it doesn’t tell you how many of each you need, other than 2 of the new ones.

It ends up being the defeat the don quest. All I saw was the 24 hour timer,. had no idea how to run it until your post, because I had goons created, but it did not accept the ones I had?? Weird.
Also. can you please tell me what triggers the beginning of the end line? The only new lines I got were Family Betrayal and Thrilla in the Villa? Thanks!

Family Betrayal Part 1 Complete. And it’s not timed for Don, at least in my game it is not. The Beginning of the End is the only one I see currently with a “gift/present” icon.

I might just not be using the correct terminology. I was speaking of the task where you send goons to defeat the Don, and there is a wait between them before you can defeat him again. So it is not THE challenge it is just “A” challenge! *grin*

Lol. Nope. It is a game mechanic. Just part of the game. Not timed as in “complete this in 24 or else you don’t get the special surprise”. More… “Keep taking him down before the 24hr timer resets to be able to get a LOT of prizes”. 😉

I have been playing this game on bluestacks and I have never had any log in issues or really any kind of issues at all except that my DEA helicopter that I bought with clams doesn’t show up (invisible for some reason)
I recommend that if you can’t log on to the game with your mobile device, download Bluestacks onto your computer (laptop OR Desktop) and synch your computer to your mobile device, at least that way you can play the game on your computer until they get the mobile thing figured out.
The entire event when other people could not play I was playing non stop on my computer and I have had ZERO issues with the game.
Is it a perfect solution? no, but if it gets you back in the game then it is better then nothing.

It’s a little bit quirky but works for the most part. I used it early in this event and the game still crashed a couple times but it did not have the loading issues I was having on my mobile game. For those who have never used it, just wanted to add that after a few times opening Bluestacks it will prompt you to give them money or test several games for them to keep using the software. I did not want to do either of those so I uninstalled. There are other android emulators out there, but I have not tried them.

For starters you need 4 wrestlers, of course I didn’t have them ready. I have 3 showgirls, 3 yakuza’s and 1 goon ready lol. Just wondering what’s next after those guys. so I can plan ahead.

All ready soooo excited for this week! It looks like the best one yet IMO. I like the new timed thing. It reminds me of Bertram in the star Treck event. I just hope I can still get fight promoter Cleveland without falling too far behind in mob rep.

I have the super cowboy cleaners and have been trying to get Mr Washee. Today he disappeared. I still need items to get him but I have no idea. Was there a time limit on this?

Is it just me or is this event incredibly unbalanced? I’ve been playing almost hourly and spent way more clams than I’m willing to admit just speeding up tasks (haven’t bought one character since this event started) and I’m still almost 2 weeks behind. It also seems like I’m not gaining as much mob rep as I used to. Are other people experiencing the same thing? I can’t say I’m enjoying this event too much.

Same here. Spent more non-character clams on this event than any other and still behind.
No way I’m getting Tricia, Lois, and Bonnie costumes with the slow trickle of cookies from all freemium buildings and tasked characters.

I, too, am one week behind and I’ve been playing consistently freemium since the very beginning. This is the first time that I think I won’t be able to unlock the last week of content. They better extend again like they did on Star Trek. That extra week helped out a lot.

Just make sure you are reporting all this to them. The more voices asking for an extension, the better. 😉 (Regardless if you get a reply or not)

I can’t see them putting an extension on this, it’d be great for us that were locked out and/or had other issues but it’s in no way fair to the players that paid a lot of money to guarantee their place on the leaderboard, those are the players TinyCo don’t want to annoy or put off playing (and paying for) their game.
I think the best that those of us struggling can hope for is an extension with a leaderboard freeze at the scheduled end time.

Again, just let them know. Talking about it is one thing. Making an effort to make a change is another. It is one thing for me to write them and say “people want an extension” vs an impact of 1000+ players saying “we want an extension”. Know what I mean? Just tell them. Offer constructive criticism. Things like “if an extension is not possible due to other items already planned, then please offer us ***** instead”, then explain why you feel that ***** is fair to ALL shut out. 🙂

Mr Washee Washee disappeared while I was in process of unlocking him. I have the cleaners, but can’t finish unlocking him, rendering me stuck with nowhere to go. This happened with the new content release.
