Side Note: as this was a GAME WIDE Patch, some of the counts may be off due to they had to add it all across the board (and not one by one), for some of you… BONUS!… you may now have more than you did. For anyone else, please alert them ASAP if you now have less then you did when they disappeared. Tech is on alert to watch for those messages.
UPDATE BUNNY 7/3 345PM EST: Patch is still in progress but hopefully out soon. Hang in there. Help IS coming for the missing Diabeto, Cleveland Jr, and Mr Washee Washee. No more need to message in as the patch is coming. 🙂

(Not sure on Patch time frame just yet, just that they are working on it.) They are hoping for tonight, so… looks like another late night here. Bit more to it then they wanted, looking more for tomorrow for the patch. They want to ensure it will correct the issue for all. 😉
For those of you experiencing a Config Error… this is what info we see from TinyCo…
Those Config validation errors have been on our radar for some time, and unfortunately have a couple of different causes. One cause we managed to discover was that certain internet providers (like Sprint and Vodafone) were blocking our connections due to the game being tagged as “mature content” or “malware.” Players can try turning off parental controls or other protection programs to see if that helps.
A Couple of IMPORTANT Notes:
You NEED to be on the 1.9.7 Upgrade for Week 5, so if you didn’t download it make sure you do.
-There are reports of crashing after updating. If this happens to you, contact TinyCo. (they are aware, but more reports help)
-We are aware that many players are reporting Mr Washee Washee & Cleveland Jr are missing. We reported it from our side, please report it also from your game. Will update once we hear anything more on it No more need to write in, they’re working on it. 🙂
-If you’re having crashing issues when trying to upgrade the Mansion…contact TinyCo.

Well…the final week of the Mob Event is here, so hurry into your Tiny Quahogs and load it up! It’s time to upgrade the Fatfather’s Compound and see what’s in store for us this week…
As always we’ll be back with more details as soon as we go through them…
For now know that you should have completed Law of the Land Pt. 9 in order to upgrade the Mansion (At least that’s how it should work, if you haven’t completed it and can still upgrade please let us know..)
You will need to go to your mansion and upgrade before you see anything else appear…

Boss Fight
You had to know it was coming…it wouldn’t be a TinyCo Event without a Boss Fight….
This one’s a little different…this is similar to Fort Nox. Send Goons to defeat Don Corelone. You’ll have 24hrs to continue the streak…each time you defeat him the amount/type of goon will change. You’ll have 24hrs to defeat him and continue the streak. If you don’t the streak will reset back to 0.
The more you defeat him the higher the rewards….
You’ll find Don to defeat in the Event Area…
FYI… this WILL vary for every single player. Bunny (me) Started with 7 Wiseguys needed. So just follow what YOUR game asks for.

Family Guy Addicts 
I have tried this game for a while. It’s funny, but also difficult. And as all games it’s has its problems. The biggest issue is, that this game is the first I have tried, that almost demand people too use real money and play 24/7. I have bought some Clams, because I don’t nearly find enough in the game, and If you don’t use them, you almost can’t finish any events. And what people is playing 24/7? You have too sleep one day. Even that I bought and played daily on this event, I can’t finish this event. It’s just too difficult and I think It’s too costly that I can say this game is still fun and entertaining. It’s getting more and more boring. Yes, I know people and the company (TinyCo) needs an income, but this just looking too greedy nowadays. It’s better too use time and money on other things.

Try and uninstall/reinstall. Clear the cache inbetween…make sure you have an account backing up your game before you do this though.

I just tried to finish the Legal Eagle 24 hour quest. I got the cookie gurls carriers and trucks. But when I had Mr. Washee Washee fight Peter nothing happened at the end. No check mark. I was a me to try twice and tried both options having Peter fight Mr. Washee Washee and vice versa. Nothing. I tried to contact tinyco through the email contact section of their website but when I click submit the little circle just keeps spinning and won’t go through. Help!

I haven’t unlocked Promoter Cleveland yet and the gold trucks have stopped spawning in my town. I used to see 2-3 of them at a time but after I cleared those this morning I haven’t seen any gold trucks. It’s been 12 hours since I cleared the last one in my town.

1) is it safe to say that while the attacks on the Don may be different for each player, you’ll never repeat the same goon during your four different attacks? That would help greatly with planning.

So far for my attacks on the Don, the first one asked for two cops. The second one asked for 3 cops. The third one is asking for 4 cops.
Having to keep using up my donuts for this one task is rough.
I hope the 4th attack won’t ask for cops again!

Guessing my 5th attack will need them too but if it stays strictly cops all the time, then theres no way I will keep geting the 5x multiplier multiple times.

Ummm….the answer to your 1st question is that you DEFINITELY CAN REPEAT GOONS required…just like previous events, it’s random each time the Don respawns. My 2nd attack on the Don called for 10 or 12 wise guys, and my 3rd attack is calling for 15 wise guys.

Can’t use clams to speed it like that, you need the goons etc. So it would require the clams needed for the amount of goons at that time.

So as if 7pm est I still get a game crash and shut down when I try to upgrade the mansion on my note 4. I no longer have the boxes showing up over buildings that drop items I’m back to the yellow check marks, and several of my characters no longer have voices? Any idea when or if the fix for this will hit? Thanks!

TinyCo made Stage 3 of All Rise way too hard. Its going to take roughly 2 days to finish it. Players need to get 9 Fries (27 Dancers) and 10 Money Bags (20 Yakuza) to complete it. You can only get 5 Shoes every 6 hours, so that’s over 24 hours right there plus 2 more hours to finish the last batch. Then you have to do the character tasks to get the to Money Bag section, which will take another 10 hours to convert Nunchucks into Yakuza to make Bags. I estimate I won’t get done until Sunday at the earliest.
There’s no way people are going to have enough time to finish let alone get enough Cookies to unlock Bonnie and Tricia, especially for the fact TinyCo stopped Cookie drops for everything you remove with Goons. If that wasn’t done unlocking them wouldn’t be beyond impossible. Whoever in TinyCo that thought this was a good idea should be fired along with the guy who thought up the Hiring/Cheque system.
As everybody has said, this is the first event TinyCo has designed that freeium player can’t come close to completing. The Hire/Cheque system bottlenecked players’ progress, because they are forced to choose to do only one task, which can only be the main one, and the 3 stage challenges, so they can unlock characters and skins. All the other quest lines have to be ignored, because there’s no spare Goons left to do them.

I’m in the same boat you are. I’m working on the 9 Fries right now. However, I thought it was 16 Money Bags. You’re absolutely right, this is too hard. I’m hoping for Sunday too.

Finished Defeat Don Corleone ahead of the time limit. The Don sat in a chair stroking his cat on his lap all the while the timer was going again. When it hit zero, one of his goons showed up for a repeat battle. Took 9 dirty cops to take his goon down and got 1,000 cookies and 600 fedoras. Now the Don is back to napping and the timer is going again.

Hi just a quick question for Bunny or Alissa……..
I’ve still not had that additional questline pop up u kno the 1 where the 1st part gives 1000 fedoras
I think it might be because I’m still only on become the best part 3 where u have to clear 10 gurl scouts and 8 cookie carrier’s
But that would take a combined 38 hours to get 20 luchidors and 24 showgirls
Do u think it would be wise to do that to hopefully trigger the quest or just forget about it and focus on week 5 raids and raiding the Don?

If you or Alissa have completed the 1 star raid for week 5 could you give us a walk through so we can better set our characters to task so they can finish the tasks just after we have completed the obstacle before it?
Always nice to figure out how to best time things so as to move through these raid obstacles.

I just checked my game (I’m on ios) and mr washee washee is back I was very close to unlocking him before he vanished with update but now to unlock him it’s saying I need to collect items that I had already collected enough of before he disappeared. Anyone else having this problem.

The Clam amount takes into account ALL you have in the game, including Cookies. So it will take what you have.

Ahh, I’m so far behind! It looks like Me. Washee Washee just reappeared, but…before he vanished, all I needed was 2 video tapes to complete him. When he returned, he needed one more shirt, a photo, the cookies, AND the video tapes. So he’s actually gone backwards! I’m never going to even get to week FOUR at this rate…

Sorry, I fear this will be a pointless question, but what do you think is the best way to contact them out of the game? I was fine earlier, but I can’t get in now. I’m just a bit worried as if I can’t get in I’ll miss out on things like the Bonnie outfit, the chance to get Detective Scrotes(cleared two guards already) and the leaderboard prizes. I have been going down but I have just about managed to keep a stable bronze place, but I’m a bit concerned that I wouldn’t be able to get in and maintain it.

Attach EVERYTHING you possibly can as emailing doesn’t link all your game data the way that in game does. So send Player ID, note in subject it is for Family Guy Game, be very specific in what you send them and detailed, and watch for ANY responses… even automated. Respond to them all.
In the meantime if your game is saved, you can try the basics like even to a complete uninstall.

OK Thanks, I’ll give that a try. My internet connection seems to be fine, but I can’t get into TSTO either. That didn’t have an update in the Play Store, but it did download something in the game, so not sure if the problem is on my end or theirs.

I received the patch.
You get 5000 cookies, and all the spray bottles needed but every other required item you just have to get one more of each. Not complaining. At least I get to finish as much as I can before it’s over

If you upgrade your mansion before you’ve finished the courthouse raidx3, are you still able to complete this before it changes to the new Italian Villa raud or does this new one overwrite?

If you are complete in Week 4 Content, and switch to Week 5… it will swap over. If you are NOT done in Week 4 (Law of Land Questline) it won’t let you upgrade.

Have you heard if they are fixing the ‘crash when upgrading mansion’ issue? I have messaged them in the game and the only response I got was “you need to finish law of the land part 10” i finished that two days ago now. I have the icon on the mansion to upgrade and when I tap it, it shuts down my game and no progress is saved

I’m a premium player and have been since the beginning ( in I’ve spent a lot and I mean a lot on this game( ps4 amounts. The console twice not a game). It may just be the automated message. Respond back and let them know you have the “Mansion won’t upgrade when you tap on the Upgrade Icon” Bug. Last I checked with them, they are still working on it.

I am on version 1.9.7. I have HTC one M8 Verizon. But yesterday morning when I woke up to do my family guy addict routine with my characters, I could not get the app to open. I opened it and managed to click a few check marks before I got an error I didn’t have time to read or screen shot before it crashed. That was about 8am or so Thursday. Since then, I only get a blip of white screen and then the app closes completely on me with no error. I managed to get to see buildings two times but both times, I got the error and immediate crash before I could do anything. I have had zero access to the game since then. My bf has also had the same problem (same phone/provider if that means anything).

Try a full uninstall/reinstall. Clear the cache inbetwen them, and restart your phone. Only do this if you have an account backing up your game though

I am logged in with Facebook so it should be backed up. Also, I tried to uninstall and then reinstall the game. It shows maybe one or two seconds of the intro video before it crashes. If I touch pause or skip it crashes then restarts back up in the beginning of the intro cinematic but still wont play beyond one or two seconds. It also went into a loop. Playing for 1-2 seconds, crashing, restarting from beginning of cinematic, etc. It’s awful. I’ve spent so much money on this game but I haven’t been able to access it all and I can’t even get to a point in the reinstallation to even retrieve my saved data..

Focus on Lois so you can get into Week 5 Content… the make as MANY runs on the Don as you can and keep the Multipliers going. Then see where you end up Cookie wise.

I just finished The Finer Things Pt. 2 so I have Mob Wife Lois unlocked but have yet to update to the Week #5 mansion (1.9.7). I have already unlocked Mr Washee Washee, Cleveland Jr. and Diabeto.
Just to clarify are the issues with the latest update (i.e. missing characters) mostly impacting only those who haven’t unlocked them or others as well?
Although my game crashes a lot it is still working so rather than be locked out of the game waiting for a patch if I update to 1.9.7. I would rather use the time to get more cookies since I am cookie poor.
I know you are you aren’t psychics who can tell me if the most recent update will work correctly in my game and I could be one of those whose game crashes just trying to update the mansion after updating to 1.9.7. I’m just looking at my options.

Only the Week 1-3 Characters. (Diabeto, Jr, and Washee).
Here is the thing with the crashing, it is isolated. That means it is only impacting a small handful of players. For the majority… it actually INCREASED capabilities for the game. As in it is running a LOT smoother for many of us.
Example, a player on Galaxy 6 states crashing… but Alissa is also on a 6 and it’s running fine on update. I saw another on a GS4 crashing, my main device is a GS4 and running really smooth. I have a mix of tablets and devices both Android and iOS… all running fine since update.
Short story long, all I can suggest is to try. Honestly. See how your device responds. If you are worried, take extra precautions… store some items in your town before doing so. Put away stuff so your game isn’t overloaded. 😉

I’ve contacted Tiny Co. No response and I’m a full 24 hours missing Mr. washee washee. Can’t get Lois without him and I was just in need of like 3 more video tapes. I’m thinking I’m going to miss out on advancing if this isn’t remedied soon…hope they extend the event due to such a glitch

I’ve contacted TinyCo from the game about my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. I have the latest version of the app. 1.9.7 and crashing when upgrading the Mansion. Still no word. Frustrated!

I’m upset about it because I have spent a lot on this event as well, have had to spend to complete those 24 hour quest, then spend more to get special characters, heck I’m surprised there isn’t a tap tax this go round.

Have not been able to log in since week 5 went live, contacted tiny co twice so far no response and losing more and more time being able to play the game. Reset phone, did uninstall and re-install hard reset nothing, kinda p’d off right now as this is the second time I have had to wait at least 1 extra day to start the new weeks content!

cant say that I am loving this event much. The earning of cookies and mob rep is so slow that it feels impossible to progress. That and the cookie delivery kids makes this event rather in enjoyable. As soon as you earn enough cookies you need to use them up, and then you need to somehow get thousands more to complete character tasks…it just feels impossible. This event only gets a 2/10 from me.

I’ve only finally progressed into the week 4 stuff yesterday due to the setbacks that the event has given for the character unlocks. I definitely feel TC needs to go back to the drawing board after this and Star Trek bringing issues for many players.
I really appreciate the efforts you both have put in to help keep people sane during this event, and I thank you. The walkthroughs have at least help make things focused and keep it flowing, so I can have a chance of reaching the end. We’ll see what happens, but thank you again. Hopefully they’ll extend it another week based on the feedback, but we’ll see!

And while I have all of the other items for Trisha, I will never earn the 20,000 cookies required.
I doubt I will even have a chance to begin working on Bonnie.

What does the # of RV’s matter? You can still only create 6 goons at once! Total fail on TinyCo’s part for this event, among others. I’ve held off commenting for a while now, but I’m very disappointed in their execution of this event.

Previously, the # of RVs didn’t matter. However, now they will be the ONLY way to beat the Don. This post is a little misleading: beating the Don DOES NOT work like beating Fort Nox: you can’t keep sending individual goons to beat the Don; you must have ALL the required goons already hired and on hand, THEN you can send ALL of them to beat the Don.

I guess the # of RVs did kind of matter before the Don battle; they helped you “stock up” on goons in preparation for the Weekly Challenges, or if saving up goons while Fort Nox was rebuilding. Hopefully TinyCo won’t make the goons required to beat the Don more than 15, thus only people that paid clams for the extra RV will be able to beat the Don.

I’m not sure if it’s a glitch in my game or others’, but my goon capacity is 15. I didn’t buy the clam RV, just the three with cookies. If we started at a capacity of six, that should make the total 15, right?

No. You started with 3. Each additional is +3, so if you only have 3 that is 3×3=9 plus the 3 to start… so 12. Once you are in Week 5 content, you should be able to buy the next 500 Cookie RV.

Thank you for the timely updates, but it doesn’t look like many people will get to make any meanifull headway into this week’s content.
Even with a 1 week extension (something I always suspected would happen) I still don’t think most active players will make it to the end of week 5 content.
And the truth is, with an extension it will put most people even lower on the leader board.
I was sitting just below the don prize for most of this event but within the past week I’ve dropped a lot in the ranks and see myself not even getting soot suit stewie at this rate.

I’m literally only up to week 3 according to these articles. And I just lost mr wishee washee. I hope they restore him back to the level I’m currently at. I jus needed 2 more spray bottles!! So upset. All I can do is Trisha event and destroy Fort Knox but I’m afraid that if I do I get the spray bottle and it goes no where. I still have the building in my event it collects coins just no character and of course no junio either

I just got the 24 hour challenge for the Legal Eagle from week 4 which I just started, that was a surprise, I didn’t have much queued so it’s impossible, TinyCo really rubbing my nose in it. Got a laugh out of me at least 🙂

The taste of Italy’s meats building doesn’t seems to be working. When I tap on the building and the timer constantly reads 00. Has this been reported?

Mr wishee washee is missing from my husbands game. He can’t finish building him. How the heck are you all getting cookies to get these characters? I play all day! I can’t get enough to get the girl in Al’s never mind Bonnie, Lois and buildings. I have about 13k cookies. No way am I even going to get anything else it seems. This is a good thing though. I have been playing through this game even when it gets the better of me but this could be the event that helps ween me away. Not getting the costumes is a breaker for me.

Week 5 already? UGH. Still stuck in week 4 — trying to finish the final courthouse attack so I can finally create Mob Wife Lois and get her on her task. Currently working on the 9 fries — is it just me or is that a LOT? Anyways, hoping to start week 5 by Sunday. No way I’ll finish it, but I’ll do what I can. Any chance that this gets extended?

Does anyone have a walkthrough for the Italian Villa raids? I know that it takes some time to produce a walkthrough for all three raids, but I’m going to finish the 2nd obstacle (5 steaks) of the first raid, and would like to get my character actions ready for the next raid (barbed wire obstacle?). Thanks!

The third obstacle is making Chris eat cookies and mort hide cowardly again…..the 4th is take out 2 of the scooters so you need 2 cops from goon list.

This is my first big event, so I’m trying to figure out the boss thing. First I had to send two cops, and now I have to send three cops. Struggling with donuts & the 1.5 hours to produce a cop. Am I just really unlucky? Is the next goon to send also going to be a cop? This part is different for all players, right?

Do most patches require a store update, or is it instant? I just got my 5000 cookies for Mr. Washee and due to the issue at hand he’s back in my store locked. I have sent a message to TinyCo about it. Since this is holding me back from progressing, in your experience how often should I check for the patch or how often should I reach out to TinyCo? Thanks ladies for all your fine help.

Depends on the type of patch.
We’ll defiantly post once we know something…if it’s an App Store Patch it could take a while, as it has to be approved and with the holiday weekend coming Apple is likely to take even longer to approve. So hopefully it’s just an in-game patch. General rule of thumb is if you don’t hear something in 5 days contact them again.

I am still locked out from upgrading the mansion since downloading the patch. Crashes every time. I sent an in game note to Tinyco, but no response as yet. Is this something they are still working on fixing? Thanks!
