–WHAT THE DEUCE… What’s with common human decency at Airports? Every time I travel I see the cruelest and rudest behavior to other human beings. Simple things like complaining that they got on the plane 3rd instead of 1st (behind 2 disabled people) just to get their “favorite spot”… ALL THE WAY IN THE BACK OF THE PLANE! ***rolls eyes***

Family Guy Addicts 
WTD. July 13th will be my one year anniversary playing FGTQFS and I still cannot get into the game since July 8th. I started around the time of the Comic Con and would like to be part of this years one as well.
I would have more confidence in TinyCo coming up with a solution if the last post on their FB page on July 10 did not read.
Android Update: most of the crash on load issues should now be fixed! No update required. Please try restarting your app and give it a go.

Also, I have had no new updates come in for my Kindle so I do not feel that is the cause and have eamiled them a few times.
When I tried using FB for the first time to load the beta copy, I can get the game started but the game menu has no option to log in as another user.
WTD is the problem.

Building sizes are getting too large. The Matchstick Factory, Hotel D’Italia, and Convention Center are enormous, as are Starfleet Academy and Starfleet Research Facility. The Japan Arcade and Mama’s Italian Restaurant are also over-sized along with many other recent buildings. It’s all getting out of proportion to earlier “large” buildings like Brookfield Insane Asylum and Quohog Police. The older small buildings like the Thrift Shop and Goldman’s Pharmacy seem like they’re from a different game now, particularly with their more muted colors. This isn’t just an aesthetic problem, it’s also an issue when there isn’t enough land to build on.

My WTD is missing out on the Brian and Stewie statues from the Mafia event. I wanted them from the start since I wanted make a sculpture garden with the the ones from valentines.

I’ll keep it simple. Too many crashes & glitches in mobster event. Unfairly kept people stuck 1 or more weeks behind. Give everyone Don Corleone for putting up with it (especially if you spent clams on premium characters).
On side note, more land please! I quit putting in roads for goodness sake. The last 2 districts that opened up space are just buildings in my town! 🙂

My wtd is I told tiny co I accidently bought a building from the mobsters event I clicked the wrong one if they would be so kind if they can refund me the clams back . I even explained I was saving them up for another character . They get back to me on Friday and tell me they will not be refunding anything back from the mobster event . Also they ask did this answer your question . I’m like really It’s ok to take our clams and money but when you make a small mistake and ask nicely if you can give them back they say no . Tiny co really disappointed me . They only one I can count on are you guys keep up the good work

I spent nearly $200 on the mobsters event, and got locked out just after the final week loaded. I had been saving cookies and had more than 100,000 to spend at the end, not counting another week of gathering them and unlocking characters. I was doing pretty good in the rankings of course. but then it went down and despite tips and updates I am still unable to access.
I feel totally cheated, and taken advantage of.
I guess some would say that’s my fault for spending money at all. Also maybe I should have learned my lesson from last years comic con event when the same thing happened, and all the event exclusive content and currencies were removed just days before the several week event ended, and all that tinyco offered was a “whoops, on the bright side our iPhone customers are happy”.

My first WTD hasn’t anything to do with this game :’D.
I went to our local Italian food place with my dad to get us some dinner. While we drove there and parked the car. Some guy approaches my dad. He looks at me from head to toe, he looks at my dad and said: You have a really pretty daughter, nice long legs, keep an eye on that beauty or I will….
That was kinda spooky :/…
My other WTD is like everybody else. At my game I got stuck on getting the drops for “mob wife Lois”. So didn’t get that one, also got stuck on Tricia, and never got the chance to work on mob wife Bonnie….
I overall think the mob event was a really good idea, good set up with the goons, the raids. But the possibillity to get every item made for freemium players was impossible.
Hope TinyCo learned from this event.
But kudo’s on the new Magic Mike event. Already got Magic Peter, Got Stripper Bonnie in the mystery box and working on Stripper Jerome…
Don’t know if I will be able to get Jerome, cause there is this thing called actual life. But I’m hoping I will. Jerome in black leather chaps to gay up my lil Quahog! 😀

WTD; played since game launch pretty much, only bought a few chars but I started to think what is the point as they just spend 95% of the time stored away so I play fremium now. The Mobster event was a joke, but had no crashing issues until I stupidly put iOS 9 on my phone, every other game works apart from FG:TQFS. The filesize was also getting crazy, it was 650Mb, larger than anything on my l’il device. So I deleted it when it stopped working, it’s now a unusable 103Mb which should suffice once TinyCo fix the iOS/Android issues. I thought I would have to wait weeks to play again, but discovered the facebook version works really well, so quite happy now. On the positive side I nuked my town and only have one street & essential buildings with about 8 chars out in action and about 60 in storage. At the end of the day it’s a game, I’ve seen 6 friends quit playing recently and none of my FB friends play anymore, I think it’s the cost of stuff, TinyCo’s automated responses, poorly planned event game play and various bugs that is putting off many players. WTD 2; how did that guy get 632,000+ mobster rep too?

My what the deuce is that including this week, we’ve had 15 weeks of consecutive events.

If they’re going to rely entirely on characters you unlock early, because they’re focused more on acquiring customers than retaining them, why the deuce did they put Stewie so late in the game? You’d think this was a game based on a show starring Jerome, Bonnie, and Bruce (I didn’t even really know his name until playing the game).
If they’re going to make so few actions useful for item drops, why not only have those actions? Streamline the game, maybe then it won’t crash so much.
What the deuce is up with waiting for my leaderboard prize? The fact that they have to take several days to clean it up and verify means it never should have been used. People were relying on it to figure out how to play, and if/when it was worth it to spend real money, it should have been accurate.
Finally, what the deuce happened to TinyCo’s customer service? At this point they’re relying almost entirely on free fan sites like this one (which I love and appreciate…and depend on, since in-game instructions are scarce). I don’t think that’s a valid way to run a business, especially one designed to generate frustration (free-to-play games are almost all based on frustration/fear to coerce you into purchasing items to make “winning” feel possible, heaven forbid they just make it fun and enticing). TinyCo should be set up to take that pressure, not leave it on the people who love their games the most.

It seems that tinyCo commonly sets unrealistic timelines for quests. I’m working on stripper Jerome and the only way to get dollar bills is the 6 hour task from the Peter. That’s 45 hours from the guy who gets the most task requests in an event that’s 7 days long (I think), if you don’t miss a second. I wish these mini-events would not require players to be on their phone every 2 hours and give people a rest.
Yes, I recognize that I have the choice to play or not, so at the end of the day it’s one me, but it still gets a little overwhelming at times.

I’ve been playing since this game was launched on Android and with the exception of the first two major events (Kingdom and Comicon) where I was hampered by the performance of my old phone, I’ve not missed out on a single bit of freemium content… until this event. Due to the crashing and disappearing goons, I must have lost close to a weeks gameplay over the last 5 weeks, and as a result I was nowhere near completing the event. I did manage to get Detective Scrotes and Gangster Schoolgirl Tricia on the last day, and managed to rank in the high 7,000’s so will get Don Corleone and Zoot Suit Stewie, but was still a few days away from Mob Wife Bonnie, and that’s the first skin I will have missed getting… ever. Given how large a proportion of players were affected by issues at Tinyco’s end, I do think that not extending the event was a mistake, and if the skin is offered again in the future for clams, I’ll refuse out of principal. This event was doable within the timeframe, even for freemium players, but to charge real money for something a player missed out on due to an error at the developers end is really quite unethical. We’ll have to wait and see how Tinyco play this.
A few years ago I started playing a game called Transformers: Legends by Dena/Mobage soon after it was released. It started as a simple freemium card collecting game, then the ranked events began, and at first it was relatively easy to earn new characters and rank very highly without paying, but it quickly became more and more difficult with each subsequent event to do either. I did start paying a little money in to keep playing for a while but it quickly became apparent to both myself and obviously the developers, that quite a few players were willing to spend hundreds of dollars on each event. The events quickly went weekly and were pretty much premium only, and I bowed out.
I do spend real money on this game, but only for characters I want or skins. I’ve never sped up a task or bought any premium deco’s or buildings and can’t imagine I ever will, so I hope that Tinyco don’t start going down the same route Dena did and skew the balance from freemium to premium purely in the name of profit. Given the levels some people achieved in mob rep during this last event, there are a small percentage of players willing to shovel huge amounts of cash into this game, and I imagine they account for a large percentage of the income, from a purely economic perspective, it would make sense to target that demographic… but that kind of thinking will destroy the game for everyone else.

WTD? The Gangster Mop event was extremely fun and very enjoyable but there’s so many thing to do. Main guests and all the mini side quests made it impossible to obtain a lot of items and characters, but it’s the most fun events out of all the other one. Just sad I didn’t get Lois, Bonnie, Stewie, Cleveland, Trisha, and Consuela skins…really hope those make it back in the game again sometime.
The Magic Event right now is pretty interesting, good to see steroid Stewie back but not collecting items for him but instead he’s a premium like last time. Guest I’ll have to fork out some cash for him and rubert

So I recently changed from iPhone to Samsung and my game used to work all the time with or without wifi but now on my Samsung it only works on wifi..! Any idea on how to change the settings for it to work when I’m not connected to wifi..?! Can’t seem to figure it out 🙈

Disable wifi. Settings when you pull down the notifications screen should have a wifi icon to just tap and turn it off. Warning though a LOT of data will be used.

I tried that but it still won’t work 😭 the simpsons game works perfect but for some reason family guy won’t..! It’s really strange cos I had no problem with it on iPhone (the 1 thing that was actually good about that phone!!) So I just presumed there was some kinda hidden settings on my Samsung to do with playing just on wifi but can’t find it ha..!!

Regarding the previous event
1) I played every hour, and the game crashed everytime. I removed all building and decorations and characters that weren’t used. Still crashed every time
2) the event was not long enough. There was too much to do in too little time
3) I has virtually 100 goons that I couldnt hire because you could only hire one at a time, and they took up to 90 mins each.
4) the spray from the thing where you needed 125 points to kill. What was the spray used for? I got one very time, yet it did nothing.
5) 20,000 for Tricia. I got 15,000
6) the items to collect in the first week were too hard, and I was always a week behind from week 2 onwards.
7) I spent hundreds of clams trying to catch up. What was the point?

Like many others I cannot open the game – android drops out during loading.
I have recieved some replies from TinyCo, but everyone has just been a copy paste general reply, they never actually read my message or responded to my questions.
This event was a disaster – it is quite clear that they as a company have bitten off more than they can chew. The event was too big with too many moving parts, which caused too many bugs.
They were too slow to respond to the issues and when they did it was mostly brute force fixes rather than a fix to the actual issue.
The fact that they are a small company is, frankly, not an excuse. They need to learn not to overextend themselves.
I’m a professional game developer and I would be embarresed to have my name attached to the game based on the last month or so, and I would probably be expected to be fired if I released software in that state.

The Fatfather event was not fun. The fun is being able to unlock eveythinbg but there wasn’t enough time based on the dropvrate of cookies and everything needing goons. I abandoned quests to focus on getting Fight Promoter Cleveland; I had 120 of 125 boxing gloves, 6 goons ready to attack a gold cookie van but WTD… no gold vans.
I had all the materials for Schoolgirl Tricia but never came close to get 20k cookies. I didn’t get even half of the required items for Mob Wife Lois, never saw an option for Mob Wife Bonnie or Scrotes.
The currency and drop rates weren’t well organized for this event meaning not unlocking characters left a feeling of disappointment not fun.

So I built that Old Balls Headquarters building and just by happenstance the Quahog Fireboat was placed nearby right next to the very top of the building. All I’ll say is the animation on the Fireboat spits out two big squirts of water at quite a hilarious result.

I actually full good about the last event and crashing. I’m not checking my phone every 10 minuets, not walking up in the middle of the night, less frustration in life. It feels good to probably be done with it. Time to find a new time waster game. Dragon Quest Light is coming out and i love the franchise.

I have been a loyal player since week 2 of the games release. At the time I was playing Simpsons tapped out as well. While I have enjoyed the events up to and including comic con the Star Trek event and the recent events are just to much. In tapped out new levels were added at least every month or two while we haven’t seen new levels in Fgqfs in a while. In tapped out I had lots of land and while it took a while to buy I was able to expand my town and actually have some space to arrange it to my liking. I remember having enough land to build a lake and a huge green space. Not so much in fgqfs everything is on top of each other and storage looks like it needs to be featured on the show hoarders. While at one time I had 20-25 Facebook friends playing this game that number is down to 1. Clam heavy near impossible events and crashes have turned them away. Now I do spend money on this game. Average of 10-20 on each event up until the mob event. I’m sorry if that is not enough but with this last event I never even made it to the last week of releases. I was stuck trying to unlock things for mob wife Lois and trying to hire people like crazy. I would like to point out I stopped playing tapped out over a year ago and this past event brought me very close to calling quits on fgqfs….
please bring back events to the way they were or full moon, comic con, ect and make them less clam heavy. Please give us more land so we can actually set up a town. Please release new content I’m tired of seeing death and Neil Goldman for a year now as “coming soon”. Also maybe throw in something like tapped out had with the snatch off.

Ok, I understand having certain characters only obtainable with Clams. The developers need to make money, too.
However, requiring clams to progress through the main storyline, or creating bottlenecks in the gameplay resulting in significant sections of the storyline never experienced is just not good game design.
Case in point – this mini event. I still don’t have Peter’s costume because I have had no red hats drop since the first day of the minievent.
Thus, no progress on the storyline. Not able to experience the other aspects of the event. Are there other npc’s that are supposed to be running around besides the generic male strippers dropping pants? Wouldn’t know. At this rate, never will.
Same issues happened during the mob event.
Same issues happened during the Trek event.
Again, making some characters/collectibles be premium is perfectly fine.
But, not the entire event.
That’s just not fun.

Ha, ha, ha, ha!!!! Does it even matter anymore?!?! Botched event. Impossible to log in…… where it begins is as impossible to say as where it ends. One sad misstep after another. This is where it ends, tiny co. Don’t know if they run any other apps, but I won’t run any other app on any device if it comes from tiny co. The, End.

I spent about $150 for clams in the monster event.
I was ranked ~1200 in the rankings when the glitch kicked me out 2 days before the end.
Is there any way to find out what place I ended up in?
Have they handed out the prizes yet?
Any idea when I will be able to get back in?

I lost out on Mob Wifeel Bonnie. Of course the first event I play premium is the first I miss out in something. Literally all I missed out on in the star trek event was the gold borg statue, the valentine event was cool your jet hot tub, Christmas event was nothing, American dad got everything too, and Halloween was the event I had to restart my town because I forgot to save my town before getting a new phone so I don’t really count it.
I was locked out for a day which screwed me over. I know being locked out for a day doesn’t seem like much to some people, but it happened the second to last day. And I was only sort 5k cookies. I managed about 3k per day because of the don, but I missed him all throughout the locked out day and then had to restart him when I got back on. So I could only make 2000 for the two days. And she’s the only character I really wanted. I don’t know why I chose to buy Tricia over her. If only one more day.
And why is God’s name is Mr.Washee’s longest task 12 hours, visual, and with someone. Rule of thumbs a character should have a 24 hour task and it should be indoors. But recently with Crusher, Vinnie, and Washee I’m getting annoyed. Just stay inside until I want to see you clean a shirt like once a month, cause I don’t send old characters on visual tasks too often.
I still loved the event though. It actually was the worst so far that I’ve seen, but they tried alot of new things and with a few tweaks I like the direction they’re taking.

Wtd, when they started the last event, cleveland wasnt available anymore, so i bought, with my earned clams, consuela, thinking that her skin would get me a bunch of cookies. Four days later, cleveland appears, plus i would of get consuela for free. I’m a frequent player, this close to an addict, and i didnt get mob wife lois but finished with a mob rep enough to get me zoot stewie.
Now, its magic mike, and still, i get some strippers who drops coins. Dont need those. How come the magic mike buildings pays in coins. When will the long time players be rewarded. How come the cookie shop from peters wife didnt give… cookies. How come roger from american dad wasnt added to the star trek event for getting extra stuff. Nope, its always 2 or 3 of the same griffins that are the chosen one. We earn those special buildings and skins by playing a lot, would be nice if those extra hours would “pay off”. Sometimes, a lot recently, i feel like we are the gerbils and tinyco just keeps trying their stuff on us. How much can we take until we call it quits.

My WTD for this week is as follows:
the Mafia event was a farce as a lot of folks have put for many reasons, not least that it started out as a Godfather tribute then decended in to christ knows what after week 1. i wont go into the whole farce of how difficult it was and more aimed at premium players (I too did spend a lot of clams on buildings and speeding things up as a social experiment) and this has clearly left a bitter taste in a lot of players mouths. it does appear that TC has turned into a money making game as opposed to the decent balance it had between premium and freemium at the start of its existence.
my next WTD is has anyone else noticed that the new buildings in this new event are screwed up a bit in that they drop more XP points than coins when every other building we have bought is the other way about??? for me one building drops 1 coin per X hours and 12 XP, which is great if you need them but I am maxed out on XP and have 2.7m coins so clearly coins would be better for me as i can at least add them. Before anyone asks i have indeed sent TC an in game message to state this but as yet no reply, they must be deciding if the recent winner of the leaderboard was cheating or not!!!!
Finally a massive Thank You to the girls for the continued support and help they provide, all of which make this game that wee bit more bearable each day!!

Like most on here, I have to say my main WTD has to do with game play. Fans have been saying many times that while they appreciate the content, some serious work needs to be done on quality control as of Late. The Star Trek Event was bad enough, especially since I don’t think I would not have been able to complete it had I not gotten some of the premium characters. This Mob event, with all of the glitches and badly calculated drops/needs for unlocking characters it was downright impossible to finish. I was unable to get Scrotes and I’m mad at that as it was mainly due to errors in the game and bad programming. If I didn’t have to re-play and send the same characters on the same task 5x due to crashes, and the bugs did not happen I’d have made it. If the bugs went away, I’d be happy to pay money for this game again, Until then, I’ll likely be a casual player and I will not pay any more money for a game where they do not respect the fremium player.

WTD World: Why is it impossible to find a decent car for less than $3,000?
WTD Me: Why do you wait until 3 hours before the contest closes to come up with an entry?
WTD Nerd Companies: Why can’t you release anything cool outside of SDCC? 99% of us can’t freaking go?
WTD Boss: Really? Cutting my vacation short so someone else can extend theirs and giving me a close/open shift right before hand?
WTD Resturaunt: Your sign says shirt and shoes required. It says nothing about pants. I should sue.
WTD me: You burnt a hole THROUGH the driveway lighting a chimney ignitor full of charcoal. Next time drag out the old grill genius.
WTD Drunken neighbors: Lighting off fireworks while drunk is dumb. Lighting them off from a wooden porch is stupid. Relighiting the dud that fell into the dry grass and having it explode 5 feet from my house is a good way to get a foot up your…nose.

WTD… People. You voluntarily spend money on this and any other purchase you make that makes you happy. Nobody forces you to. I voluntarily spent lots of money on this game. When I feel the need to buy clams, I actually opt to enter my password each time to give me the chance to back out. I usually ignore all common sense.
This IS, as many have repeatedly pointed it out, only a GAME. There is no Family Guy Hall of Fame. Nobody is awarding you anything for playing these games, thats regardless at to whether you spent real money or not. In 100 (give or take a few years) years, no one, not even you will care if you got a skin or a character or whatever by playing a game on your phone.
My point? Lighten up people. We made a bad investment choice, kinda like the stock market. Learn from it. Get your priorities straight. For the love of all things good… quitcherbitchin and enjoy the reality break until they fix it 😄.

A lot of people are asking for more land. There are only two areas that could possibly be used for more usable land. TinyCo could convert land surrounding where the Monster events happened and place land where the lake is by adding a bridge system. Not sure how many districts could be created from the land possibly available, but I would doubt the number would be very high.
Most of the playable space has been used already and skrinking down the sizes of the images would make objects placed in your Quohog impossible to see on the small screens of phones and iWatches. If you think the tribbles are small now, they would look like dust specks if the images were reduced down. Trying to move things around would be nearly impossible to do.
I just use objects that will provide event currency and keep the rest in inventory. I’d love to have everything I own displayed in my Quohog, but as an Animal Crossing and Pokemon player, I know everything I own just can’t be displayed all the time.

What the deuce with Tiny Co? It seems like it’s one clam spend after another. The balance in the game has completely gone.
It might be time for this blog to start thinking it’s not just a game, but realise that it’s a money making enterprise that is getting greedy, and the game is starting to apply peer pressure to buy clams…

I quit playing this game the third week of the Star Trek event but my son wanted to take over. I agreed but told him it was a mistake.
His Birthday was coming up so I gave him an early present and bought him a bunch of clams for the event. He played and played and was having fun and then he got locked out for a couple days…. This upset him but he had clams and could catch up once he got back in. I even helped him by staying up late to complete tasks and hire goons.
He stayed close to the 5000 range and planned on winning Stewie and Don. Plus he had it timed out that he would be able to get Cleavlands outfit.
CRASH……
He hasn’t been able to play since and he has been heart broken ever since.
Now he Hates Family Guy and everything related.

Frustrated that I’m being told that this an Android Lollipop issue, yet I can’t open my account on bluestacks either.
I blame the leap second from June 30th.

After all the troubles with the Mobsters event it would have been pretty awesome of TinyCo to have these strippers we’re clearing drop occasional clams like the tribbles did during Star Trek.
Also, I know that Steroid Stewie at 200 clams is what they asked for last time he was available, but it still seems steep for a costume. And again, after the craziness and all the issues with Mobsters event a discount on that 200 clams would have been a nice gesture.

TinyCo needs to redesign the structure of how the game initially loads. I don’t know of any other game that loads and goes straight to the saved game. That’s poor game design as these constant game crashes has confirmed. Players are locked out and they don’t have access to in game help when it does happen making having it useless, since they have to resort to email. TinyCo needs to have a menu screen page with:

Game Help
Preferences
With it like this if there is a saved game load error we at least are able to load the core game and have access to other options and not stuck feeling helpless.
Another thing that annoys me is that the game is designed to make it the player’s responsibility to end the game events once they’re done. A banner pops up and states we have to remove the current data in their Quahog to restore it to its basic state. That should be TinyCo’s job to auto-remove events. If it wasn’t for them being lazy I would most likely to be able to play right now because my problem happened during the Mob event, which would have been erased if TinyCo managed event removal. I know when I do finally get access to my Quahog I’m got to have to manually remove the Mob event, which is currently causing my load error problem, to get to the current event. This is just another example of poor game design by TinyCo.

I’m sick of the arrogance potrayed in my Tiny Co responses. They obviously are a 2nd rate company to EA and are in a money grabbing mode with no regard to the players. The land issue is an absolute joke. They need to release 6-7 parcels of land without any new items or stop releasing so much stuff in the new events. They can not realisticly expect all the stuff they’ve released to fit in the measly amount of land we have. This game was fun but I think they’ve given up on working for the players. They are clueless

Whats the Deuce with blowing up your town and starting over? Has anyone done this?? My town is SO crowded and disorganized sometimes i just want to put it all in storage and rearrange everything but im afraid of the time consuming aspect. So whats the deuce? Have you guys done that?

Bunny and other addicts who have nuked can I ask you did you lose any of your stuff. I’m a bit nervous as I nuked my Springfield and lost some items, including my beloved Stewart Duck. Just want know this doesn’t happen in Quahog before I push the button.

I Nuked my town and everything was OK in Storage… except the Firefighter Academy, which disappeared but TinyCo responded it was a known issue. In the end, the missing building did reappear in my Inventory after a new Update

I just did this for my husband. It took me HOURS! But his town looks so much better. I couldn’t fit all his buildings back but he was satisfied with what I did.

I play this game to consume time! So yes, if you nuke you will spend a lot of time rebuilding, but that’s part of the fun of the game! Making your Quahog *special*
I wish for more land also, BUT more importantly I wish there was a way to delete things you don’t want anymore. Looking through my inventory after playing for so long is ridic BC I have too much stuff! The game is quest for stuff, but I have stuff infinity!! (Of course you could say I have nothing now since I can’t even get on the game to play…grrr)

My town still looks good I still have managed to keep my Halloween and Christmas sections up from last year but I am continually being forced to store a large amount of these new buildings which is just no fun. I’m with everyone else, more land please. At the very least let us store that ***** gigantic Pawtucket brewery.

Like u I was worried it would take forever. but now my town is nice and organised and I have a number of different themed areas that are really cool
I have loads of stuff in storage now tho but my town doesn’t clutter my mind when I look at it anymore

I feel that the glitches and lockouts happen more often when you have a lot of items in storage. Right now I’ve got every building squeezed into Quahog by removing all the roads to make space for buildings and stationary decos, have about a two-inch strip of road for moving vehicles, character movement and moving decos to gather on, and the only stuff in inventory now is Christmas and Halloween building skins. Sure, it’s extremely crowded and Quahog looks like a Mumbai ghetto, but at least I don’t have the lockout issues that others do. However, I do get an occasional load in problem but I think that’s due to weak WiFi connection on my end.
What I was disappointed in was that AGAIN the buy rates are too high for characters and buildings that generate needed supplies. 20000 cookies for Tricia? 7500 for Lois? 5000 for the others? So basically we were going to need 50,000+ cookies to get stuff. But then we get stabbed in the wallet for 700 clams for a decent paying cookie factory? Every cookie factory costed clams. Even trying to win a factory from the mystery box costed clams and multiple tries with clams. Would have been nice to get a needed item for coins. Have over 2.5million coins just sitting around doing nothing and all my buildings keep earning more every day. How about giving us a chance to buy clams and needed currency items with coins every once in a while?
And why oh why is it taking sooooooo long for Bruce and Joe to drop baseball caps? Still need one more to get stripper Peter.

Could be on to something here. I have yet to experience any lock outs or crashes in my game as I have every building laid out in Quahog. As with you it looks like a Mumbai ghetto with limited roads but I don’t seem to have the technical glitches that every one else has.

So, I ran into the glitch early on. Locked out for about 4 days during the 1st week. Because of this, I focused on progressing as quickly as possible and ignored Fight Promoter Cleveland until much later. Then, when I was only 10 gloves away, it’s “The Return of the Glitch!”
So, no suits for Cleveland, Bonnie, Consula, and I lost out on Zoot Suit Stewie (I assume, still locked out).

I second the land! I have nothing in my town that doesn’t produce $$ and my buildings are practically on top of each other and I’m running out of land too! I can only imagine those who actually are trying to set it up as a town – I don’t even know where they are putting everything!

What the Deuce… When are we going to get a new loading screen for the new year. Considering all of the costumes except for Stewie’s have been delivered, I hope I speak for a lot of people when we would love to have a hint at what district costumes we might see for the main characters in the next year.
What the deuce… I was fairly disappointed when I found out that players who unlocked kingpin consuela would also get the character if they didnt already. In principle I don’t mind this, but as a player who rushed to get her when she came out with clams, I would have liked some compensation or an alternative prize for players who support the game by buying content whilst it has a premium cost

And how much did I spend on her during star trek just so I could use her borg consuela skin? Something like 300 clams? C’mon TC…..if this is true I think you owe anyone who ever paid for her at least half the clams paid. And if, like me, they bought her in the last event and she came free in this one we should get a full refund.
That’s shady man. I bought Cleveland this event just so I could use fight promoter skin. If history repeats itself from the above comment (if true) then next month Cleveland will be offered for free with a new skin and players who paid 400 clams for him get the big middle finger. Again.

My What the Deuce is 100% Tinyco. I began playing right afrer the PeePants Peter event (if you want to call it an event). It was fun and funny and a few weeks later they had a full moon event. From the beginning of it it was amazing so I texted a few of my friends..they became addicted instantly. I played this event completely freemium but because it was so much fun it won me over as a future premium player (why not I wanted to do my part to make this game continue). After this event I would occasionally update my tasks during HH parties…which led to over a dozen more of my friends to play (Keep in mind all of my friends are 30 and up and they all became big time premium customers) …and then Comicon Event began..to date the best event Tinyco has ever had. All of my friends and I competed on who got who first..screenshots everywhere. .it was fun from beginning to end and in between these events there were
timed challenges for awesome stuff. The fun started dying during the Star Trek event..6 of my friends quit because they felt they could only unlock ALL of the free characters buy spending clams..they could of been right because I barely got them all and I spent a ton…6 friends stopped playing.. This event it would of been impossible to get half of the free items without buying a ton of clams, they already had it set up with coolest prizes for top rankings (and pretty much poo for the low ones) that automatically generates money, and the fourth challenge to anyone at a higher level would of cost hundreds of clams to finish…them waiting fore the 4th challenge to do this makes it extra lame. As per this event making it impossible for non premium players to get all the free items….absolutely yes. With the seventy or so I put in added to my cumpulsove game play I would of had my final costume the day before the end….but it crashed.
Look I used to roll my eyes when people used to write clam grab on premium stuff or timed events (that if you put the time in you woulda won) but these last two events it has been to the point of ridiculousness…you two couldn’t even finish some Walkthroughs because it got too expensive. I’m more than willing to pay for items but the ones I want and choose not because it is impossible to unlock something without it and not because I wont win free stuff without it.
So another half dozen friends quit during this final event. After this event did Tinyco have free items as a reward for the sacrifice of FG fans tapping away?….did they have a timed challenge with a somewhat cool prize?….did they open up a new section of land with its own challenges?…..At least fix the bugs so a good number of people can play again?…or Did they have an event based on a current movie that the only things from the actual movie you have to pay for. …yes I know every premium character costs clams and this one is on the low end but after an event like this to start it so soon seems like a “ladies this one’s for you….but you got to pay event/whatever you have left we will gladly take it now event lol… So yeah until Tinyco goes back to focusing on fun first before money, until they make sure the game or event works before throwing it out there, until Tinyco has an actual human being respond instead of a keyword and an answer that helps noone…until Tinyco becomes a more people friendly game and not only a wallet taking game Im back to my Full Moon freemium self but will still play. The only way they will listen is if the cash doesnt come in…..and I will do my part. K done with my War and Peace vent. Thanks A & B!!!!

My thoughts exactly! I really couldn’t agree more with every single word here… I usually get a $10 clam pack for each event but this time that was nothing even remotely close enough. It discourages from buying any further because you won’t get the best goodies anyway. I think it’s a mistake on TinyCo’s part because if contents were more accessible then more people would readily invest, and largely make up for the cheaper price per transaction. Again, as they say, too much tax kills the tax…
I would also add that it’s annoying that we have to buy so many new buildings for each event and then pack them away right when it’s over because we need the space for the next event… And why do they have to have a footprint the size of Texas? I have a few areas in my Quahog that are only dedicated to temporary building. Except that this time some buildings were so big that I couldn’t even find a space for them! I would log in and give you actual examples if my game wasn’t still crashing, but I’m sure you all know what I mean.

I’m guessing most of the WTDs this week will be about the recent event. Let me add my 2 clams.
I was fortunate in that I did not experience any of the crashes that so many others did. I have all the time I need to play this game. In fact, I’m on my iPad so much that I have to charge it twice a day. With the Star Trek event, I was thankful for the extra week. It was a grind.
This one was absolutely FRUSTRATING!! I felt that as a freemium player, I was at a complete disadvantage. The mobsters event was made for premium players only. The concept of “hiring goons” was a good one, but you couldn’t hire them fast enough to get everything.
No Tricia. Not enough cookies. No Bonnie. Not enough time. Was able to get Scrotes on the last day, but needed to use some earned clams.
I enjoyed the event for maybe the first week. After that, it was all downhill. The problem with the tubas started it. Didn’t care much for the leaderboard. ( I would like to know from TinyCo how the “winner” was able to amass that many fedoras.)
In my opinion, this is now 2 major events in a row that stopped being fun the longer it went on. I would suggest to TinyCo that if this model continues, a number of players will stop playing. I know that my son has quit this game.
Once again, a HUGE thank you to the marvelous team at FGAddicts. You help keep a lot of us readers sane.
PS. What happened with the spare square campaign?

With all the crashes,it will be almost impossible to complete any walkthroughs. I have lost a whole day and there no use to buy clams. There will be no way complete it anyway. So buying new stewie a waste. They need to fix it where u can at least have a chance. Make it where u can do task to win stewie.

I missed the last half-day of the Fatfather event because my game keeps crashing/failing to load, preventing me from ensuring my top 10k finish on the leaderboard and/or cashing out my hard-won Cookies on new items for my town, and now everyone is talking about/enjoying the Magic Mike mini-event, and my game still just shows me the load screen and crashes… SMDH. I’ve emailed/contacted support a few times over the last few days and haven’t heard anything substantive back, and I think I’m entering the initial stages of psychological withdrawals.

Wtd. I’m really upset with TinyCo about the whole event planning for the mob event. Everything was completely rushed, and even when fans cried to slow down it was ignored. The only time TinyCo has helped (from my personal experience) was the tuba drops and that was it. Even that was too long of time consumption. I get that the challenges every week was for premium players, to be honest, I don’t really care that much for the ‘grand prize’ you were able to get in the end (the Fatfather’s Mansion), but even i think for premium players it was a lot. The leaderboard was a big mistake in my opinion, but not so much the concept of personal prizes. People I’ve seen, have made it over 25,000 reps, which I play freemium and I’ve gotten over that rep. 25,000 rep could’ve been a better opportunity for people to get Don Carleone, Zoot Stewie, and other of the leader board prizes. The game was the worst during the first week and I was, as well as many other players, were able to get the last few skins and/or characters. I know that these things take a lot of time to fix and I know it is not easy, but the least that could’ve been announced was that they were working on it. At least then that’s a bit more than the same auto reply players received when complaining. If more than anything, I would like to see Tricia and Bonnie’s skins again as a free thing and easy to do. I don’t mind the materials needed being in the raid, but even the raids were a bit too much. 14 or more goons to get 5 items? Let alone 6 goons only being able to be hired at a time and go one after another? There was plenty of opportunity to allow all of them be hired at the same time so we don’t have to wait so long. The droos were low, the materials were too high, and in the end, we wasted our time working on a ‘last minute item’ that we weren’t able to get. Then once we were released of sweet torture of failing to get things we weren’t able to get without emptying our pockets fully, we were treated to uet another event that’s even more based around clams. About five buildings, and a few things that take materials, then we have the same thing fans tell TinyCo constantly, that they hate skins and possibly characters in the future, in mystery boxes. Yes, we don’t have to do it, but even so, its annoying that we have to gamble for the things we want if a player chooses to do so. Fans told TinyCo all over Facebook with likes over 100, 200, and even 300 that don’t do this, extend an event, drop over exaggerated amounts of materials, make drops more, more land, coins for clams, and nothing is taken to a thought. If it was, something would have been said or told about it by now instead of hidden. Now once again, I understand a lot of effort is needed for these things, I understand it’s not an easy job to do, I understand that people work hard all day and possibly all night, but to not listen to fans? In my opinion, TinyCo rarely listens to fana and if they did it’s once in a blue moon. If they listen to fans, there wouldn’t be so many people on their site about it if they listen to their fans, they wouldn’t have so many people pissed off at them and calling them greedy. It’s a simple process: listening to fans means more fans, which means more money, more money means more events and land and fixes, and repeat. But from what I see. It’s more frustration, ignoring fans, losing fans, not too much profit, need to make more premium stuff to gain profit, and repeats. Sigh. Thank you two girls for always being here and willing to help everyone throughout every event during pleasurable times in the game and frustrating. You two and have been such a big help. I’m glad I was able to get my frustration out.
