Hello There Tribblemakers!
TinyCo dropped a Mini Event into our game and now we have lil Hybrid Babies running loose in our Quahogs. Half Stewie/Half Brian and completely adorable. You know you want one to keep.
With the New Hybrid Babies Event, of course a New Questline is going to be involved too.
So let’s take a closer look at the Hybrid Babies Event Main Questline and all that you’ll encounter along the way….

Peter starts
Have Peter Let The Dogs Out- 2hrs, Earns $30 & 20XP
Build Last Chance Animal Shelter- Cost $600, Build Time 30secs
Build Chip’s Tiny Tennis Court- Cost $2000, Build Time 1hr
Completed Task Earns $100 & 50XP

Quagmire starts
Have Quagmire Clean the Yard- 10hrs, Earns $90 & 59XP
Clear 8 Hybrid Babies- (Spawn every 2hrs)

Well, Prom Night Dumpster Baby was an immediate no-brainer purchase for me. It’s my favorite cutaway. I love it because it summarizes everything about Family Guy; well written, well orchestrated, and completely and utterly tasteless. I only wish there were more so they could walk in a line like the show.

New stuff was added! I purchased the automatic beer blaster which shows up as a Ferris wheel in the store & when I placed it, it was the maternity awareness board. Weird

They just added a few new decos and there is a glitch. If you get the automatic beer blaster for $1,300, it actually gives you the maternity billboard, which can only be obtained with tennis balls. Little goof up there.

So this just happened to me. I purchased the beer blaster and instead of getting that i got the teen stewie mom sign, which you need clams to purchase. which i totally dont want. The beer blaster you buy with quahog money. Now the beer blaster is gone and cant purchase…..i already messaged tiny co. That was weird.

Just like (almost) everybody else, I haven’t collected a single Red Balloon, but, have everything else needed to unlock Chip. Heck, the collars dropped more frequently! I have a plea into TC to look into the drop rate. Let’s see what they say…..

Nope. MORE options to get collars from puppies. Makes the chances every 2hrs on them. So… better odds vs just 2 characters every 8 hrs.

My hybrids stopped giving out tennis balls, and only give out cash, so apparently once you earn enough tennis balls for Chip, the Abortion Clinic and the Balloons, there will be no need for tennis balls, at least until they add more content. I wish that I could have purchased more than one balloon bunch.

Just back from camping for 5days & YaY!! New event! Thank g’ness for your site, super helpful!! …I’m not yelling, just excited!! K, now what the French is going on?…buildings are building, time for some instructional reading thanks to you guys;-)

I got 4 collars just from the kids, nothing from brian. All 4 came within 30 seconds and 24 hours later, still 4 short. Got cold cuts, 2 out of 4 balloons, 11 rackets and 66 balls. Ill get chip unlocked tomorrow night though even if i pay a few clams. Shame chip is only given 1 task i hope he gets a side set.

I am thankful that Chip doesn’t require 99 Red Balloons. I just got my first balloon.

Definetely must be more on the way because if you look at joe’s quest list he has a 2 or 3 new task involving dogs. They weren’t there before this mini event so im guessing its got something to do with what next because the current quest line (attack of the hybrids) doesn’t have anything to do with joe.

Just got my 1st balloon from Jerome. I have 2 collars, both from hybrids. I’m satisfied with the drop rates from these tasks.
I only need a few more of each item to unlock him, but I’m not using clams to get him even if it comes close to the wire.
I’ve played this game since it’s release. Aside from a some of the glitches and complaints about the drop rates of past questlines and tasks, I have found that I can usually unlock or complete what needs to be done.
Tinyco usually does a great job at fixing those glitches or aformentioned poor drop rates so that we can complete them.
It’s a wonderful mindnumbing game

Still looking them to release Rupert Mystery boxes tomorrow. Would like to finish the Comic Con and other characters I missed by not playing then. I’d also love to see the mutant babies as prizes to win for in-game $$$.

TC awalys claim that their drop rates are working as intended. I feel this is good event for US to check that.
We need 1 of each “type” of drop, 36 hours into event my #’s are:
Extra rare : complete
Rare : 1 of 4 balloons
Uncommon : 3 of 5 cold cuts
Commom : 13 of 20 rackets
Always : 66 of 90 balls
So JUST from the babies i got all the collars yet with both Jerome & Quagmire having a total of 8 chances for balloons i got 1!
Something seems funny about the way TC label their drop rates! Anyone else?

Well, you are comparing MULTIPLE chances of getting an item vs 2 chances now and then from Characters. You get a lot more Hybrids in your town every 2hrs vs just 2 Characters on a task, so it is very likely overall you will get more results from those “more tries”. Now if you took Jerome and Quagmire (1 every 8hrs each) and gave them the amount of Chances to rival the amounts of Hybrid Puppies (4 every 2hrs)… you would probably see better results too on the balloons. 😉

My point is that the extra rare item was completed in 74 chances just over a 10% drop rate for me. My balloon drop rate is currently the same about 10%.
Even if this increases over time it will still “feel” as if the balloons are harder to come by. So i still say TC needs to reajust their labeling for drops. Just my 2 cents which here in Canada is worthless cause we don’t have pennies.

Haven’t unlocked chip yet. No plans on spending clams on items in this mini event because I’d rather spend on better items. Really don’t want a miniature Griffin’s house and not interested in the item that produces more puppies (fell flr that the event wit bi*** Stewie and Brian and have pretty much a useless machine that doesn’t help beyond the event it is in) I really do not want teen mom stewie’ skin enough to pay that amount of clams. Being selective because I need to get clams but I am holding out for tiny co to double your purchase again! I see the pups spawn every 2 hours so do you know the max we will have in our town and the number spawned every 2 hours? I don’t want to pop in every 2 hours for 2-4 pups lol

I would say probably 10 MAX from what I have seen. But that may vary by Player. I have not yet let them MAX in my town.

I know this is off subject but I am still locked out of game ever since the last week of the mobster event. I have emailed tinyco countless of times and I still have no resolution. Is there anyway you can help

It has been resolved for most devices. Only a few (mainly HTC) left. They are still seeking the issue. We are trying to find someone local with an HTC to go there and let them use their device live.

In regards to my lock out issue I am using a note 3. On t mobile network. The error message I keep on getting is ——————————
Error: Trying to use empty EventLevelSet while we have EventLevelProgress
I uninstalled/reinstalled the game and it take me back to first level then when I go to load my game with my account that is linked to Facebook I am not able to access the game .

I hope they add a hybrid baby as a character or deco. I think they are too freakin cute. I dont want to tap them to get the tennis balls lol

Hi, am I the only one who didn’t get one ballon from Quaigmire and Jerome so far ? I don’t have Chip’s house. I asked tinyco about this, but haven’t got an answer yet.

I thought it would take forever to get Collars to unlock Chip with only getting 2 so far, but just a few moments ago I got very lucky and 3 out of the 4 Puppies dropped Collars. Yay!

I like to think I know all the Family Guy characters but I just can’t place the Hybrid Babies. We have just started the latest series over here so maybe its something recent. Maybe I’m just getting old. I do remember Chip.

I love this event, and all of them, really…. but they make them too short! I’m an avid game player, but I have work, school, and a life.. so all I felt like I do is waste my money, time, and effort on only half completing things that I never get the benefit of really hardly ever getting an award from the events… really making me lose interest in the game, which is sad because it is just so addicting… wish they would extend the non-holiday events… no reason to rush them along if they don’t need to… ):

This one is simplistic and goes over a week (30th). It is actually longer than most mini Events have been. Couple Extra days. 😉

Cute event! Am not spending a dime on it though. Not because of the awesome work from the employees! Rather restraining from, just because need a time out, in hopes of seeing more awesome features develop. Like Consuelas’ vacuum! Genious 😉 Love.

Agreed as a player that has gotten everything from every event, I also wrote tiny co about a need for some kind of inventory menu, it’s near impossible to navigate in its current form

I am not even close to unlocking Chip yet, but so far, it seems like a nice straightforward game, no complicated “do this so you can do that so you can do this” tasks! I zoomed out, and was able to see that Chip is hanging on to a red balloon, so that materials requirement finally makes sense! Before I zoomed out, the balloon was blocked by the “lock”
