We did. We just happen to follow the LEGAL Guidelines set forth by a company to NOT release specific information until the appropriate sanctioned time frame. We prefer to stay on the good side of companies and their legal guidelines. 😉

I know for newer players it isnt a big deal but would love an easier way to find things in storage. Since I have been playing so long I pretty much only have essential items or people in use…. so whenever a building is suddenly needed for someone to do a task it can take awhile to find…like Bonnie’s picnic bake sale table. Also being it is Monday night and nothing is on…watching Buffy on Netflix..some of the best writing ever!!

Was Army training a few weeks in the field and catching up lol. Know they don’t allow cancelling of missions as a way to tempt people to use clams (yes you just made me the everything they do is to make us spend clams guy!!) . Yes if everything was in order alphabetical or if like the characters it would automatically pull whatever building you need when you hit a task that would be awesome…..now to catch up on any other post I may of missed out on. Thanks Bunny!!!

Haha, well I try to keep all my characters freed up on Thursday evenings because you never know If an event will hit…still get confused when I see sooo many people post how mad they are they just sent all their characters on 24 hour quests and it is the ‘X’ time it happened. Are warning/event prep posts needed?

Not sure if this applies to all platforms but on iOS, if you need a quest specific item that’s stored in your inventory, just click it in the quest and it pulls the object out from storage ready to place back in Quahog. Simples.

Enjoying the break this week but would like to ask about one thing. I only just recently noticed this so this has probably already been answered but the little button that you press to go to Ollieland used to have a reminder when there were characters available to get clams/coins from. That reminder hasn’t been around for a while and was wondering if they took it away or if it is just a glitch because I always forget to go to Ollieland for my daily clam. Thank you!

My freaking range’s inner burner on the 3 size burner stopped working sometime between Friday and this afternoon… It’s under warranty still, so at least there’s that. Got really confused when I was frying eggs for lunch sunny-side up and the edges came out pale and very much unfried…

Productive week since I’m not dealing with an event. Mayor West is finally active, Tom Tucker is just one item away, and I got my first plutonium for the blimp. Oh, and I unearthed Olivia as well. Assuming I’ll see those quests I need to get her active eventually. So, when does the event start and slow me down again? (LOL)

I know a lot of people want a Star Wars or Avengers Event to happen, but considering Fox and Disney aren’t the best of buds, unfortunately I don’t see either of those working out. However, there could be an X-Men event to coincide with new movie(s) next year, since Fox still has those rights. That would be really awesome imo.

Fox doesnt have the rights to X-Men. Marvel and therefore disney do. Fox has ONLY film rights to X-Men. Any thing else such as toys. Games or whatever goes through marvel

I never got an email myself, but here is the thing… HOW the information was gained. If it goes against TinyCo policies it is against our Site Guidelines and theirs to release them. Outside of that, if they are just speculations from other players… that is another thing. 😉

Just became a father for the second time so I’m up a couple of times at night. Good for collections since I’m a newbie at this game. Great website! Thanks for all the info and updates. Greetings an addict from Holland.

You do realize that your child is going to have the music and sound effects for this game deeply embedded in his or her subconscious, and will always think of you when they are heard for decades to come …. Or at least food. Or a dry diaper.

Good afternoon! Just wanted to let you know about an issue I was having and how I solved it. When I went to the Ollieverse, I couldn’t see my friends. I clicked on the “sign in to Facebook” bar and nothing happened. I went to the Family Guy account screen and my only option was to delete my Facebook login. I went to FB and when I tapped on FGTQFS it tried for a loooong time to load my User ID. Then Firefox shut down.
So I went back into FGTQFS, back to the Ollieverse and clicked “Invite Friends.” It sent me to a different FB signin. When I logged in using that one, the screen said “you have already authorized….” and sent me back to the Ollieverse and all my friends came back! I hope this helps any other people having a similar problem.

In my game, I noticed that Fort Nox is under the Buildings tab, but it doesn’t collect rent when I put it in my town. Just out of curiosity, shouldn’t it be under the Decorations tab instead? When I tap on it, it just seems like a deco.
Also, do you think TinyCo will remove the “Purchase coins and get clams for free” task if I message them? Or will I have to purchase coins (which I have too many of) to get rid of the task? It bugs me that it’s been sitting there forever 😆

Message them and see. And it technically was introduced as a building for use of Goons. Just like there are decorations that payout out… but still classified as decorations.

This morning I was at work 😦 But now we’ve got a roast cooking omnomnom. My plans for this week: playing the Sims (which I rediscovered yesterday) and hopefully doing some more work ok my tshirt blanket 🙂 How about you?

Elizabethan collar “t-shirt” cat jacket
It’s an alternative to Elizabethan collars for cats who have to be kept away from poking and pulling at their abdominal incisions. Worked splendidly for Junior Cat when she was spayed – as per the instructions, I cut a 16″x16″ square (she was small, average cats need 20″x20″) out of an old cotton t-shirt. Risked my life setting her on it to mark about where armholes and legholes should go. Then made two slits for her legs as close to one edge as possible, and another two slits for her arms about 3″ from the opposite edge. Then risked my life again inserting her legs and arms into the slits and pulled up the other two sides to make it tight against her underside, rolling them together in the middle of her back and securing with several big safety pins. This was the sixth approach I tried to keeping her from chewing at her incision (including the E collar, an inflatable donut collar, a non-inflatable soft collar, and several infant onesie designs) and the first one that worked. The design is pure genius- they are able to use the litter box with no trouble because the legholes are so close to the rear edge and also have plenty of fur uncovered to let them happily groom. And it seems completely comfortable. She kept it on without fuss for a week, until she was no longer sore – then she took it off herself (I had forgotten to tighten the back again) and woke me up, running wild and free and naked. She hid the jacket somewhere but pulled it out a few months later and left it on the stairs for me. She’s thoughtful that way.

Yes I did some with on it today. Though one of the designs had ended up at an angle with a bit cut off 😥 I’ve recently started to learn crafts so it’s fun to see what people do.

I just unlocked Slutty Cat Meg and Witch Connie and it was kinda fun for their funny animations.
I wonder if Pink Brian has more than 1 visual task and for now his skin costs only 75 clams whereas most of his skin cost more than 100clams. It sure looks tempting.

Brian has 2 visuals – one alone & one with Bonnie. I got it mostly because it was 75 but I won’t get Stewie’s – it’s too expensive! I’m hoping Tiny Co will be able to compare the number of people who buy them as I’m guessing Brian’s will sell much better and this can help them to judge pricings for the future.

He has 2 visual tasks, Pretty in Pink and Split a Rose’. When he is Pretty in Pink he stumbles around in high heels.

I just purchased Pink Brian as having a new skin for Brian is getting harder and more expensive to earn so I think it was a good deal.
I do agree that in the future cost for skin should be lower than some characters.

My week has been great, busy, but great just the same. I like seeing characters and costumes that I missed make a comeback. (I started near the end of the Star Trek event.)
Been job hunting for awhile now, no luck there sadly. I am sure I will hook up something soon. Lol.
P.S. Bunny, when will the “Caption this Clammers” come back? I like seeing those. I may have even sent in a picture for it. 😛

I asked TinyCo whether there wera any plans to extend the Windows/WindowsPhone game beyond District 8, or having finished that I should go away and find something else to do? This was their reply:

Currently District 9 and forward are only available in the App Store, Google Play and Amazon App Store versions of Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff. However, we are getting strong interest from the Windows community to add more content, and may add this in the future.”
Note the word MAY in the response. They seem to be so busy creating short term special events for the other platforms that no attention is being given to the long term future of the Windows version. Its clear that Windows players shouldn’t buy more Clams than they can use immediately and once you have completed District 8, go away until you get a message via this blog that something new is available for Windows.
