WOOHOO!!
PETERPALOOZA WILL RUN UNTIL THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17th, 2015 @3PM PACIFIC
As usual, we will be back in a bit with more details as we go through it all live.
In order to see the content for the New PeterPalooza Event, you will need to be on the Mobile App Version of 1.11.0 (my Android is currently on 1.10.1 and iOS is on 1.11.0) and in at least District 3 with Al’s Unlocked. FYI… I ONLY see the basics right now in iOS… so this is going to slowly release.
Content is now hitting… again… this is ONLY on iOS so far. I haven’t seen anything just yet for Google Play Store. Google is live now too.Â
UPDATE: For those on Android stuck in a black screen infinite loop of trying to load the Event, they are looking into it. Hang in there. My suggestion is the same as other issues before, try to load it on an ALTERNATE device (like iOS or Facebook or anything else). Then if you are successful, go back to Android.
If you don’t have another device, sit tight and wait. Outside of that, try the basic troubleshooting steps to see if that helps.
As with many past Events, you will see that the area in the middle right side is now open for the PeterPalooza Event. The Event will kick off with Peter and you needing to repair Avril Lavigne’s VIP Chair. You will see a Hammer Icon over it in the Event Area. Tap on it to start.
CLAM SPEEDING
For those of you trying to “SPEED” through all of this via Clams, do NOT use the questline task “GO” option to go to the Character and speed the task. Doing so will crash your game. Instead, tap on the Building they’re inside of then speed it from there.

GLOWSTICKS
Glowsticks are going to be the Main Event Currency for PeterPalooza, so you will need to start collecting them. This should not be too hard as they are everywhere. You can collect them just by completing a Character Task, Questlines, Buildings, and Concerts. So there will be plenty to go around. There are also the Fan Girls walking around.
Think of these like money, once you use it… you lose it. So watch your totals and make sure you get the items that are timed first, like Meg, and those that can wait later. We will have more of a breakdown on this in a separate post.
FEMALE FANS
You will notice after starting the Questline, PeterPalooza, that there are Fan Girls Walking around your Quahog Streets. Tapping on them will give you Glowsticks.
In my town, I started out with 10 of them. Tapping on them gave me +2 Glowsticks. They respawned in my game in 2hrs in a group of 5.
SPOTTED TOADS & TOAD USERS
Toads will start to appear after you reach PeterPalooza Pt 4, Toads help to drop Glowsticks.
I started out with 10 in my town. Tapping on them gave me +5 Glowsticks Each. (I also got +$10. Looking into it.) Per TinyCo, the Toad Glowstick drops are RARE. In my game, it seemed they spawned about every 3hrs and 5 at a time.
Toad Users will appear after you reach PeterPalooza Pt 6 (though I saw them in Part 4 in my game), Toad Users help to drop Skull Guitar Picks.
I started out with 2 in my town. You will have to get Rockstar Peter Unlocked to clear them out of your town. It will take Rockstar Peter 3hrs to Clear a Toad User. The Payout in my game was 5 Skull Guitar Picks along with Peter’s Task Payout.
FESTIVAL MERCH KIOSK CENTER
This is essentially your Crafting area. You will collect Materials to gain additional items for your Quahog. Here is the rundown of what is currently available at the Festival Merch Kiosk.
Makeover Meg: Timed for 7 days (already counting down)

CONCERTS
You can put on a Concert with a Musician in this Event, but you will have to get there in a step by step process. Essentially, you will have to earn items to first Unlock the Musician’s ability to perform… then they can perform.
Tapping on the Stage will let you know the details. For Instance to start, Avril Lavigne will require…

Once you have all the items for Avril, tap on the Concert Stage and it will show you that you now have 100% of the items and to “START CONCERT”.
You will then be taken to the “Start a Concert” option. If you are ready, “START CONCERT”. Avril’s lasts 2 minutes and you have to hurry and collect Fans during the Concert.
This is were it will be REALLY critical that you have all your roads in sight as you will be directed to clear Fans off of them to gain Stars. Stars = a better payout from the Concert.
Example: I got 24/40 Stars (12 Fans) in the 2 minutes and my Payout was 80 Glowsticks & 30 Skull Guitar Picks
Now you CAN go again for an Encore Concert.
ENCORE CONCERT
Once a Musician is done with a Concert, you earned your Stars, and got your Payout… you can go again. This time for an Encore Concert. You will once again have to Collect Materials or Perform Tasks in order to gain access to the Encore Concert.
This time after Avril’s Main Concert, these were the options for an Encore Concert in my game…
- Have Avril Perform a Secret Show-Â 10hrs
- Have Rockstar Peter Turn It Up To 11-Â 11hrs
- Have Quagmire Remember Rodstock- 8hrs
- Have Joes Detain Unruly Teenagers- 12hrs
Once all the Tasks were done, on to the Encore Concert.
This time Avril & Rockstar Peter could Perform. Time to “START CONCERT”.
Then it was time to “CHOOSE PERFORMER”, I chose Rockstar Peter this time.
The Fans Spawn about every minute so go tap and clear them as fast as you can so you can let more spawn and repeat. Again, keeping roads where you can see them will be critical. This time I got 58/80 Stars. Same Payout as before. 80 Glowsticks & 30 Skull Guitar Picks. Â More on this on a later post.

Whenever I try to speed up a task with clams, the game freezes on the confirmation message and I have to force close the game. After I started it up again and try to do it again it does the same thing again. I’m wondering if it’s just my game or are others facing this problem?

Two things.
Did a concert for Avril and the fans earned glow sticks, stars or coins. What are the stars used for?
When I use clams to end a task early, the game freezes when I push Finish. I have to exit the game and come back in and then lose credit for the last few tasks I was doing.

It appears that the payouts for Mobsters event characters/skins have been affected with the update. The icons for XP are missing and replaced by a number for what were the cookies payout but no accompanying icon. I ran some of them thinking they might drop glow sticks instead of cookies but they don’t. Just coins; not even XP. Hope it gets fixed. Want to max out those guys so I can get them into storage and out of the way.

I’m on a Amazon Kindle Fire & still running the regular game. I contacted TinyCo in app & they said the Amazon app store hasn’t updated; once it does, to d/l the new version. No ETA on that from TinyCo however.

That is pretty normal for Amazon to be behind. See it every update. Sorry. It is all in the App Markets hand on when they will let it go. Out of TinyCo’s hands, so they won’t have an ETA. It is all up to Amazon now.

At least I believe I recall starting some major events at the same time as everyone else, but that could be the early senility kicking in (just barely into my 30s and I’ve already got gray hair! It all depends on the App Markets. This is not the ONLY game we run into this with. iOS is usually quickest, then Google, then Amazon. It doesn’t matter if they submit it a month in advance, it is still… all in Amazon’s hands on when they “approve” the app and allow it to go through their market to their users. Game Creators have absolutely no control over this what so ever.

Is it possible to load your game that you started on Amazon, (just a regular tablet, not a Kindle) on the Google Play app?! I know it works on some of my other games but not sure about this one, especially since the 2 apps seem to be different sizes of data?! Anyone know or have done this?!

If you game is saved to an email or Facebook it is as simple as downloading app, getting to the menu, logging in, and LOAD your saved game file.

Weird I just got 15 glowsticks from completing one of New Brian’s quests.

I am on Android so I am locked out ATM.
But just looking over what has been posted so far, I see that Glowsticks are what everyone is going to be wanting to collect, If you were to purchase one of each of the Clam buildings/items, that produces Glowsticks you would spend 920 Clams, and in 1 24hr period you could collect 638 Glowsticks.
However if you only bought 2 Neon Rhinos, in that same 24hr period you could collect 800 Glowsticks
so for 120 fewer Clams you get 162 more Glowsticks per 24hr period.
For those who are completest’s that may not be an issue, but for those looking to reduce the amount of clams you need to buy in order to get the most bang for your buck buying 2 Neon Rhinos is going to be your best Glowstick to Clam purchases.
Since this is a 5 week event, the guitar pics and toads you miss out on by not buying the Kwik pick Kiosk and Toad pond likely will not be an issue.
I am writing this as just something to consider, play however you like and buy what ever you like, but for the best Glowstick to Clam ratio, 2 Neon Rhinos is the way to go.
Keep in mind like other 5 week events, there are most likely going to be glowstick mystery boxes at the end that you can spend you extra glowsticks on, and many items in those mystery boxes can be some of the best event items, at least that is what I found to be the case in the Fatfather event.
so getting a boat load of Glowsticks may be what you want to get the items in those mystery boxes you really really want.

Yay love the new events. This one seems to be starting simple, but so did Star Trek! Hope it stays nice and simple. Also Avril doesn’t look much like Avril. The voice phrases are pretty funny though. Also they seemed to have scrapped the expensive 700 clam version of the event currency dropping building.

I updated via the App Store (Android) but when you get Into the game it tells you to reload. When I do, the screen goes black and stays that way. I force stopped the game, restarted, etc but it didn’t work. Did I jump the gun by updating as it is on Android? Anyone else notice? Thanks for your help!

Thanks for passing it on! Hopefully they’ll reply soon. Huh, it’s not just me then… Tried restarting the device, but no luck. You can still hear the music in the background, but the screen stays dark. Admittedly, it got boring after a while so I’ll try again later. It’s so annoying!! I could try on the iPhone as the game is on both devices, but during the mobster event and becausr the thing is so old, the game works 5 min then crashes to the main screen after which all the actions have to be done again. So, there is really no point. Does it work for anyone else yet?

Yeah I got an update for it so I did. I started it, told me to reload. I did. Black screen. Can’t even see my status bar if I try to bring it down. I’ve restarted the game, my Samsung Avant and everything…

Is anyone else having problems reloading it once you install the update, Snoop Dog comes up and says to reload, then you press Go and your screen goes black and status black? Please tell me what to do. I don’t have Facebook so I’m afraid it won’t save my progress if I undownload to reinstall.. Help me!

Completely force close and exit out of the game. Then restart your device. Then try again.
My suggestion is as soon as you are in, SAVE YOUR GAME. No matter if it is to email, Facebook, w/e… ALWAYS save your game to keep your progress.

I hope they are going to update the facebook version. The android version has sucked for months now, with the exception of when they did the first patch in the mob event (played for as long as i wanted with no crashes.) [crossing fingers as the android version has just crashed twice in a row after about 60 seconds] đŚ
