UPDATE 8/14: This Feature was kinda sorta PRE-Released. It was not completed and is not functioning as intended. So I wanted to give you all the heads up on it. It is STILL there… however… it will now run for 24hrs… NO SPEEDING option. That means if you put a Character on it… they stay on it until 24hrs are up.
I will mess around with it more AFTER I get the New Content details up on the payouts & etc that I see now. It is still a “Free” one to perform.
But just a heads up. This is something that is still in the works. So proceed with caution. 😉

SECRET CONCERT
WARNING: THIS IS AT YOUR OWN RISK TO ATTEMPT
I had found a hidden task in the game that was NOT supposed to exist yet, nor payout what it had been. Nor be Free. As they are still working on what it was actually intended for, using this feature will be tricky and if not done carefully… can cause you delays in your game.
All I will say for now is…
- This WILL lock out your Musician for 24hrs without a chance of getting them to stop until the 24hrs are up.
- It is NOT supported as it is not intended for use in this way, so may still be a lil glitchy.
- You will have THOUSANDS of Female Fans to clear. On this I am not even joking. They will not stop spawning over n over n over every few seconds.
- Do NOT send more than one Musician to do a Concert. If you try to send someone else on a Concert at the same time as this, you WILL be locked out with an Error.
So… USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

For those of you that do NOT like the “ragdolling” feature that I LOVE LOVE LOVE, you may just find out you LOVE it too now. Picking up a Character and dragging them all over the game. Why? Let me explain…
As I was tapping around my game looking for Avril, I see this pop up above the Clam…
“Secret Shows?” Say WHAT??!! So now I was intrigued. I really started to wonder… WHAT “Secret Shows”? Could there really be some kind of Secret Shows outside of the task she had in the game?
I was off to figure this question bugging me out. As soon as I pulled Avril out of the Drunken Clam, I picked her up and started dragging her around the game and to the Concert Stage (I love ragdolling). To my surprise… it LIT UP. (It is a slight color change, but noticeable none the less.) So I dropped her on the stage.
Next thing I know, I see this…
A blank task for 5 minutes? OK, let’s see where this goes. So I pull the record icon on over.
To my surprise… Avril makes her way to the stage, but not on it. Instead she hides down in the lower right of the Concert Stage and begins to perform. WHOA!
At the same time, the timer box appears above the stage. Sure enough… I am having Avril Perform a Concert. A SECRET Concert. Not only that, but now I have 5 minutes to get 80 Stars. WOOHOO!
Sure enough, I got them all with time to spare. Payout of 100/50.
SWEET! But then I remember, there is ANOTHER Musician in the game that wants to put on Concerts too… Rockstar Peter. So, I repeated the process. Drug him over and dropped him on the Concert Stage.
Same pop up of a “Secret” Task, and another Concert has begun. Same as Avril’s.
There he went over to the Concert Stage to perform away. WOOHOO!!
Another full 5 Star ratio!! With more than enough time left.
Another 5 Star Payout of 100/50.
WARNING: DO NOT PUT THEM BOTH ON IT AT SAME TIME! It will just lock out your game.
Now I am not sure if this is an actual Easter Egg or a Glitch, either way… do it while you can.

Yasss tysm Bunny i was scared i wasn’t gonna get Meg’s costume but with this cheat i got her in 10 mins. Hoping they don’t make this cheat go away. Doubt that the guitar chips will be to use for the next person so that’s a bummer

I was trying to get her to perform another concert just to get enough picks for Meg’s outfit and it counted as an Encore for the one quest. I’ll take what little I can get since it means one less thing for me to worry about lol

It is only 430 TinyCo time. They can roll out anywhere from 9am to 9pm. It varies. Most… it seems 7-9PM

Bunny, I also like ragdolling characters. I just wish TinyCo didn’t get lazy with it by not having animation and sound bites of them getting upset for being grabbed. That was the best part.

So I accidentally sent Avril and Peter on the concert stage at the same time and I think I locked my game out. I get the error message “attempting to display completion model for non-existant reward? Any ideas on how to I guess unlock the game or fix the glitch? I have forced quit and it still doesn’t work. I desperate.

See WARNING at bottom of this post. Only option now is to Contact TinyCo. Sorry. You can wait and see if new Content kicks them out, but if it does not… TinyCo will have to wipe out the feature for everyone or rollback your game.

What happens if they roll back my game will I have to start completely over from beginning or just the event? I’m scared now.

Rollback means they have to go to a “save” point prior to the lock out. So if that “save” point is an hour before the lock out… any progression in that hour will be lost.
Like I said, wait if you like and see if the new stuff kicks it out when that finally releases sometime tonight… if not, contact them and let them know you have the error and see what they can do. Or contact them now. That is up to you. Just want you to know what you may be in for. If they wipe the option of the secret concert out all together… you may be kicked out anyway.

Before contacting TinyCo always erase your data and cache. 9 times out of 10 that will solve the the problem. You will have to relog in and load all graphics, but its better than waiting up to a few days for support.

No clue if this is actually a bug or not (and considering there’s at least one where a lot of tasks don’t show the XP icon anymore…), but it allowed me to get Meg’s costume lickity split. Danke Bunny!

For what it’s worth when I unlocked meg’s new skin I pulled up Avril and the secret show task is 10 hrs and it’s blue meaning it’s a part of a quest line.

I know. Like it says in the post… the thought of MORE than just a task intrigued me… I had already sent her on that task like 15 times… so I went looking to see what I could find. I ragdoll my characters all the time during events to find locations. 😉

Thanks Bunny! I never get to take advantage of these things! By the time I found out about switching rooms to speed up the dark matter and stuff, it was fixed, the taco trucks, hedges, etc, same thing. This time, I actually get to take advantage of what may be a short lived major benefit! Yay!!!!

I’ve tried this a few times with Avril and the timer doesn’t show up for me. At first I wasn’t sure if it was going to work. I have to click on the stage to see how much time is left

I actually got Meg yesterday and I didn’t play at all Tuesday so I really got her in just about two days. She really was very easy to get and I’m actually a little surprised people were still even working for her today. But this tip still is awesome. I had 400 glowsticks and now have close to 5000. So as long as they’re not taken away which I doubt they will be, thank you greatly.

Awesome tip. Thanks so much, got Makeover Meg unlocked now. One thing worth mentioning, I hadn’t done the rock star Peter encore yet, I was 75% complete on the task to start it, after doing Avrils secret show my progress went back to 0% and I have to do all four tasks again. So might want to make sure your not in the middle of preparing for a concert when you do this trick.

It essentially jumped you and allowed you instant access… so it saved you time in the long run that you would’ve waited for completion. Overall… results instantly instead of hours

Well this is an amazing discovery. I’ve done it once, to help me get Meg’s skin. But I’m kind of afraid to do it again. Will TinyCo consider it an exploit? I Don’t want to get banned! 😦

Even if it is a glitch I have caught a few before like getting event buildings for coins instead of event currency hours before their release, as well as a pretty awesome glitch where my times for my actions were all funky and even twelve hour actions were done in minutes and they even dropped materials i needed to unlock characters! Needless to say if you are lucky enough to find it, go for it because we did not modify our games to do this so it is not illegal.

This is actually a glitch! I send Avril first time for a concert and I got my prize. Then I send her again and I tried to send Peter too for a duet, and it worked. The problem is that after the concert when I tried to get my prize an error appeared and it’s said that I can’t get a nonexistent prize and I need to reload. So I did it and it appeared again and again. Now my both characters are blocked on the scene and I don’t know what to do. I’m thinking how to explain this on a ticket: “Hey TinyCo, you see, I tried to use a glitch to get more glow sticks and now I have two characters blocked on the scene. Can you help me please? Pretty please! And please don’t ban me, I was stupid and I swear that it will not happen again. BTW, did I told you how much I love you and how good are you looking today?”

Only thing you can do is contact them to get it fixed now. There is no other option.
You can just let them know your Character is stuck and ask if they can roll back your game to the time BEFORE it locked you out. But that will also eliminate your progress from the rollback point to that point it locked you out.
You can wait to see if the new content will free him… and if not wait til then to contact them too… if you want to wait.

Nice catch on this.
Went from 500 Glowsticks and 0 Guitar Picks to 1800 Glowsticks and 600 guitar picks. But after sitting there for a little over 1 hour doing it I got tapped out.
I just have a bad feeling that the guitar picks will not be useful in the near future but that’s ok as I still got lots of glowsticks.

Outside of seeing the running total on the Characters before they unlock, unfortunately… no. I am going to ask them if they keep them round if there can be a total somewhere listed for them.

oooo awesome I have to try that when my characters are free. I bet it’s a bug that won’t last long though, hopefully long enough for me to profit a little from it, I am so close to Meg’s outfit and I want that totem pole, a few of them actually… hopefully I can get them with this little trick.
I’m liking this event so far. This is the first one I didn’t purchase the 200 clam option to get more event currency because I have no more clams left and just purchased some for something else recently. As a completely freemium player that isn’t on the game every few hours I am doing quite well so far. But as you go on you learn to play an event. I now focus on getting the materials needed for the characters and costumes, then focus on the main questline and I will do the side quests if I have time. It really makes a difference from trying to do everything at once and getting nowhere in the event for a long while.

It is definitely a glitch because if you do it it clears whatever progress you actually had towards a real encore concert. I was hafway there until I tried this. Although fruitful, beware it can undo hours of work at the same time.

This is ACE! I come here a lot for help and this is the best thing you’ve found yet! Now I’ve got the new skin for Meg, finished the encore questline and can focus on some of the other questlines that popped up that I’ve ignored. I was a day behind on this event and now I’m ready for the new content to drop.

I pre-did the encore this morning, but with Avril, so it didn’t count. I would have had to do a complete reset to do this with Peter, but the drag and drop solved that problem.

I guess this might explain why when you drag other characters around it no longer shows which buildings you can drop them in (at least in my game). Both Avril and Peter are on long tasks right now but I’ll sure try when they’re free.
