The PeterPalooza Festival has now moved into Phase 2. We now have the addition of a couple of Rappers, some Cannabis paraphernalia, a bit of Rastafarian going on, and of course the Greased-Up Deaf Guy randomly running wild around our streets.
All this crazy New Conten just means one thing… New Questlines for the Event. Including the Main Questlines. For Phase 2 that would be Festival Fail.

Not sure if it’s too late but. Something to test for GuDG.. Peter and quagmire have quests about looking and setting traps. I did a couple and have an influx of Gu.. caught him 5 times in the last 12 hours. Before it was 12-16 hours.

Is it worth it to buy another mexican? I just built the library. And all the clearing and event buildings just came in for cooper… also I was ready for am encode when cooper ae in and stopped that ability requiring me to get him … I can’t get tickets without concerts yet…

I have 2 in most the games. I think 2-3 is a good number. In one I have 4 (test game for site) I hardly use the 3rd and the 4th… well… he mainly just roams. It has been a very long while since I had any use for 4.

Working on Festival Fail Part 6 and clearing the 9 bee swarms. I’ve sent several beekeepers but my counter still shows just 2/9. Tried clearing them when running and standing still – still no updates to the counter.
Am I missing something?

I’ve unlocked Tomik and am up to the quest “Lost in Translation pt. 2” there’s a task that says “have Quagmire work on foreign relations” but no specific job to do to clear out that task. Any ideas what I’m supposed to do?

Where is Quagmire? Is he busy right now on another task? What happens when you tap go? Do you have the Drunken Clam in your game?

I didn’t pay attention but for “Festival Fail Pt. 3”, there’s the task called “Use a Beekeeper to Clear a Bee Swarm”.
I unfortunately cleared 2 swarms of “Dark Bees”, and those do not seem to update the task.

Can anyone tell me why I don’t have guys in my town anymore so Peter can do the toad thing and get the 5 picks so I can get them for the joe outfit and the Bryan outfit we need a lot of them and geting 2 from the bee guys is not cutting it especially when the Bryan outfit is timed

Those bee chased hippies still drop hacked sacks even though I already have all I need for brian. Sadly, I was not fortunate enough to take advantage of the 5 minute concerts the other day for picks… I can’t get picks to save my life! 2 per bee hippie, 5 per toad user (which I only have one which spawns like 6-8 hours), 24 hr “secret” concert for now until i unock joe. I considered purchasing the pick drop… but I’m still a little jaded from mobster event, but tinyco has improved incredibly since then. I am loving this event, but it can go downhill really quick.

Does anyone know if the secret concert will count for the hardcore encore questline? I didn’t want to complete the several tasks in order to do a normal concert if i could just put one of the other characters there for a day and get rid of the questline.

As that is from Phase 1 and already into Phase 2, I do not know. From what I am seeing is that it does still clear any Concert requirements so far.

Nope, I’ve run 3 secret concerts and it hasn’t completed the encore.
It *does* seem to count as the Joe Lion concert though. This was in 2 separate games.
on that point – I totally got faked out. on my iPad I was on my second secret concert when the first secret finished on my iPhone. As the Encore mission was still there, I sent Joe on the white people dreads task on both games hoping to jump the gun. An hour later Avril finished the second secret concert, but the iPad had 2 Joe tasks – Wear a smelly rasta hat and perform rasta jams. Bummed, as he’s locked up for 10 more hours. My own fault for assuming the progression…
So not sure if that’s a random thing, or it’s considered the 3rd encore (even though it didn’t complete the mission) Something to watch out for I guess…

I’m not sure about Hardcore Encore. But I can confirm that the secret 24-hr concert counted towards Festival Fail Pt. 7’s concert. So I was able to bypass Joe Lion’s concert items (of course, this is after I already purchased them all). And the stage is only showing me the Encore concert tasks now.
I think the payouts have changed for Stage 2, because I only received 30 picks instead of 50. Though I did receive 3 tickets as well. I’m still going to need to perform an encore concert in order to unlock Rapper Brian.

It may also be that you need Joe to trigger it. I had 3 pop up all at once.

Hmm I got Joe lion but it says he already did his concert now… I didn’t select it or get any picks. Now the only option it gives me is to complete tasks for him to do an encore. I’m confused.

Something like this happened to me, I still need 1 last item to get Joe Lion, but I got to the part on the main questline where you have to perform a JoeLion concert and it payed me the reward right as soon as it showed up, like a concert happened out of nowhere. Im not mad about it because I got to finish the questline earlier than I was supposed to 😊

Just finished the Festival Fail main questline even though I’m still working on getting Joe Lion. It said that Joe completed his concert. I was doing a lot of those 5 min secret concerts with Avril the other day which maybe caused this strange thing to happen.

Yes, because you performed a Concert… so it will clear it out any requirements if you already unlocked Joe.

Check with TinyCo. As it is not a posted piece of info they released nor will they release… I can only go off what I see. About 12-15hrs and he returns.

Loving this event. I always seem to fall behind in events but not this time around. I just got joe lion and only need one more hacky sack for rapper Brian.unlocked joe perfectly to line up with the main questline. Thanks for all your hard work. Love this one.

Just wanted to say I am enjoying this event. I got Avril and make over Meg pretty quick and I have been working on the current quests. I have all of the items needed for Joe Lion but the Patchouli Oil really is super rare. I have managed to collect only one so far since the quest came out but only thing to do is to keep at it. As for the greased up naked deaf guy I have managed to tap on him twice so I have 2 tickets but I guess I will have to keep an eye out for his now as we do not know when he will reappear. This certainly is an interesting event!

In my tasks I still have play an encore, but with the update happening last night, it eliminated the encore and now the only concert I can do is Joe Lion. Which sucks because there’s no way I’m gonna gather up that many guitar picks to even get the character, let alone the other junk needed for it. I don’t want to put anyone on the 24 hour wait for the secret show because I don’t wanna get screwed when they have a task coming up later. This seems nearly impossible. I have not hit the bees yet though, so maybe it gets a little easier? But problem is they only give out two picks and you aren’t guarenteed them.
This is like the mob event, a complete mess where the only way you can seemingly finish everything is to spend money. I have enough of the free clams that I can speed things up from time to time, but I’m not putting any money down.
Also, this is the wrong thread for this, but I don’t feel like posting again. In Tapped Out, I’m trying to claim prizes from friends clicking on my stores, but some stores will crash the game (Shamrock, Collider, Aztec Theatre.) Have these problems been reported yet?

Either way, all you can do is send information like this to TinyCo. They did send many pop ups into the game telling players that Encore’s were coming to an end. Sorry.

I played the game most of the day yesterday pretty much. Never saw a pop up. I’m just mad that it’s still on the task bar as a teaser. I think a lot of people are complaining about the picks (and now I’m out of toad lickers, which might be temporary.) but since it seems like Avril quest lines are done keeping her on stage for a full day isn’t a waste of time, is it? What’s the reward? I collected 100 stars, I still have purple skirt girls walking around, but they don’t even give stars or glow sticks anymore, just chump change. Is it worth the full days wait?

They drop an occasional one still. So for over 24hrs… it can help with Glowsticks. Just look at the Concert post and Phase 2 post for what other players are experiencing on it.

The picks are always drops from beekeepers as my experience tells, EXCEPT when you get a hacky sack from them instead (which makes sense, no double drop).
However, I have only gotten one hacky sack to drop in somewhere around 15 attempts, so take that how you will at how easy it’ll be to get the sacks for Brian w/o buying Snoop.

On your Tapped Out question I had three buildings that did that too. I finally stored them and put them back out. Lost the blueprints but now they are back to normal and people can tap on them and I can clear them without crashing.

Too many glitches , after I have earned 5 stars during concert in the time limit game gives error ,shuts down restarts and you only get 10 picks after a 1 day quest . NEED AWAY TO GET MORE PICKS .

Week 1 was your best bet because every 5 min you got 100 glow Sticks and 50 picks. Bee keepers, kwik pick, concerts and rock star Peter are your only options FOR NOW.

I did the whole drag Rockstar Peter to the stage trick for about 3 hours while watching sons of anarchy and got about 4000 neon bracelets and about 2000 picks. The hacky sack drop rate is so low I have 3 and I don’t have any tickets yet for rapper brian. The extra rare item for Joe lion is giving me trouble too.

Accidentally posted this first in the wrong article, but above the mushroom patch is listed for 50 glowsticks; in the beginning of the week, I purchased it almost immediately and it set me back 50 skull picks (was a hard decision as I was saving up for Makeover Meg too, but since it was the last thing I needed to finish a quest and move to the next in line I did it); was this changed later on, or is this a typo? If it was changed, I’m messaging TinyCo about a refund, but if it’s a typo, then dangit.

Positive; I remember because I could’ve bought Makeover Meg at the time, but chose not to since I was about to have my 2nd encore; which was cancelled due to the event changing weeks (which, seeing another reply you had to someone else, was a little irritating because I never saw any of those notifications letting me know it was ending. I only knew it was ‘soon’ from seeing messages here)

Well I have screenshots from the moment it hit the game (as I document everything so I can write it for this site). It has not changed in any of my games since launch. Always 50 Glowsticks. Every picture every time I went in there. From Phase 2 start, to locating Brian’s info, to getting images for the post, to buying some for the questline, to today. Everyone Glowsticks. All I can suggest is if you saw or paid different, you have an issue in your game and need to reach out to TinyCo.

That is because you sent 3 people to do it. May I ask why? It is noted in the Secret Concert and main page to not send more than one… it will lock you out.
Your only option now is to contact TinyCo.

Well, after numerous messages, I got no reply atall from tinyco. But,when the picks for clams offer showed up, it got my rockstar peter off the stage, and allowed me to collect without crashing finally!!! Yea!!!!!!

I was going to send Lois on a future task, but I’m not showing ‘Get A Checkup’ on any of her tasks. I’m only showing one task as a 6-hour task that gives 2 glowsticks. Is is it a misprint on the task?

And looking further ahead, I don’t have the task ‘Swat At Bees’ which follows which follows the above task. This is the first time I’ve had to wait for tasks to show in the middle of a quest line. I’m usually able to send available characters ahead to rush the job. Have I just been lucky or is this new?

Unlock points. Always that way each Event. Things do not exist until they trigger. (See main post for phase 2 on when a lot of stuff triggers.)

Nope. A lot of tasks will NOT trigger until key points in the game as well as many times there can be ONE TIME ONLY Tasks that only show for that bit then go away.

The red tent is NOT the Merch tent. It is the Event Tent to Hire Beekeepers…
The Merch Tent is the one with the Giant Guitar.

I was pissed that, when Joe Lionshowed up, we couldn’t do encores…I was ready to do one (my first one), just waiting for Peter or April to finish being busy, when it all changed and boom! I can’t do an encore anymore..

Soooo…., the 24hr ragdoll Avril concert ended and I’m more or less locked out of my game with the Consuela message “Attempting to display completion modal for non-existant reward”. reload, same thing. reload. same thing. Stuck. Any suggestions?

No. Rock star Peter was assisting a toad victim or some such thing. I can’t get into my game to do anything other than read the same error message and reload over and over again to get the same thing. Oh well, locked out of yet another “event”.

My Peter is glitched out in the Firsr Aid tent. I tap the tent and nothing happens. It is like it is a decoration. Ack! I need Peter!

I was able to get Peter out of the First Aid Tent without any problem.
What you have to do for Android is have your Game Notifications for Family Guy turned on (Go to Settings, select Apps, pick Family Guy and check mark on Show Notifications box.) Be sure to do this before he finishes or this won’t work!
When the Notification stating Peter is finished appears, click on that specific Icon Announcement and the game will reload to where the First Aid Tent is and it’ll show the Check Mark balloon showing the task has completed and for you to click on it to get Peter out.

PS – Don’t leave your game active on screen or the announcement won’t appear. Load the game and press Home Icon to not have the game running foreground to something else or just sitting on the Launcher screen.
PPS – The device will sound off when a Notice appears. Don’t let it get too backed up. The Max I think that will appear is 3 before it stops is giving them.

I think that’s all unnessassary. I also had the glitch that his progress didn’t saw up when he was in the tent. So, I couldn’t rush it. But, when it was over, the check mark appeared like normal. Didn’t go out of my way to make any changes to the game to fix it.

Seems to me it’s going to be really tough to get Joe lion without paying for him…. We need a ton of guitar picks for the concert items and can no longer do concerts with Peter or Avril… How are we supposed to get all those guitar picks? We only get two with each bee swarm clearing and Peter is occupied doing every other task for the quest lines so we can’t use him to get them! Going to be quite the challenge! And it seems no way at all to get Brian because I’ve done bees every hour since last night and not one hacky sack ball yet! Guess you’ll have to buy snoop to get Brian! 😕

I’m completely lost on how to keep up with this week, I need picks (at least another 30 hours of Peter on his task) but I also need him to progress the Greased Up Deaf Guy quest line so I can eventually start getting tickets, All the while the timer on Brian is ticking down.
No way to do any concerts till I get Joe normal, encore or secret. I didn’t even find out about the secret ones till it was too late so I just feel massively behind now.

I decided to give the secret concert a try with the woman (kept misspelling her name). It’s crazy! The task goes on for 24 hours right? Well I’m getting concert fan girls spawning every 60 seconds (timed it)! If I don’t click them all in that time frame, the ones I clicked on are replaced at the one minute mark. That’s not the insane part though. They have a chance to drop glow sticks that ranges from 15% to 37% (6 to 14 glow sticks per 40 concert fans) with an average drop rate of about 25% (197/800) over 20 spawns. That’s an average drop rate of 10 glow sticks per minute/spawn or 600 glow sticks per hour!

I’m confused too, is there a way to run a concert with Avril or Peter before Joe’s concert finishes? Otherwise it seems Dawnie is right that we are going to need a ton of guitar picks to get Joe and all the other items before we can do his concert, and the only way to get picks is through 2 or 5 at a time (and the toad guys don’t respawn very often……)

After about 20 beekeepers, I’ve netted only 1 hackysack, so I feel ya there (as well as picks, just posted in what the deuce about that ‘issue’); each event seems to bring out the aggravation in almost all of us that TinyCo is pushing the clam-purchase option a little too much, and the support behind the sentiment is only growing (and indirectly through people quitting the game). At least IMO Makeover Meg was a more important costume to get, flavor-wise; rapper Brian just doesn’t fit his persona at all (the episode featuring that costume even has one of the students point out that it’s not like him) so I guess that makes concerts more feasible for me.
And it looks like in the later questlines, Peter has less tasks (and one is to jam out for a toad user, which I’m just waiting on more users for), so there’ll be more room for him. I actually gave thought to sending him on a task for those blue earrings for ghost Loretta, but decided against purely because 12 hours is a long time during an event like this to keep him locked away.

My make Chris Research Bees task was 10 hours. I like how quickly this seems to move on, I moved through a few parts today. I have all possible characters earning honey and I end up with a lot more than I need for clearing bees. Before I saw that the women were being chased by bees, I thought that the guards were clearing the women. LOL I don’t really like having so many different questlines. I always end up clearing a task, then I end up having to do it again for a different questline a few hours later.

Is the random for Greased up deaf guy “anytime” or is there a spawn rate for him my dear???? I unlocked him a couple hrs ago,he spawned twice & dropped two tickets.😂

Did that for me (See the main post, I explained). Seemed… maybe 12hrs he showed again… but I am unsure. Asked them on the Spawn.

As in, no set spawn time? If that is the case will he remain visible till you tap on him or will he despawn after X amount of time?
I know you may not know these answers but I thought I would ask anyways to see. :3
